McDonald's in Emsbüren

Underground restaurant. I waited almost 30 minutes for breakfast even though there were only 3 people in the store. Coffee undrinkable! The machine should be cleaned. Staff speak broken German, which has now apparently become standard in all branches.

Were there today - no cash orders were processed due to the volume. When asked about this, an employee gave a rude answer to her colleague, who originally wanted to take care of our concern. Nobody communicated with us directly. We then decided to leave the store. From further conversations with other customers, this was not an isolated case today.

This store was recently redesigned and made smaller for reasons unknown. There are now full corridors of people waiting for food and the amenities have all gotten worse. Whoever thought making this store smaller would make it better or more efficient deserves to lose their job. Wait times just for parking are near 5 minutes during the weekend.

We had dinner here after a day out. Since, like many others write, this is the first point after a low ride... The service was very bad! Had to wait half an hour for our order. There were far too few staff, and the mac is far too small on the inside to handle large capacities. For the rest, hygiene is not what it should be. But you know that. It's not a 5 star restaurant! The fries were very dirty, as if the fat was very old. And the burgers were lukewarm.

The cleanest McDonalds restaurant we know of. The toilet is also spotless, with birdsong! 😁 Very friendly and well-trained staff. Good service. Everything is just right here!

We had problems ordering, but the staff couldn't help us. The manager just ignored us - we stood at the checkout for five minutes, she saw us but didn't come to help. An absolute no-go. The tables were dirty. Also, we ordered Coke without ice but got Coke with ice. It's a shame, because the store makes a good impression at first glance, but most people will remember such experiences negatively.

Most of my reviews for MCD are a snapshot, everything is great, the first time I've given it 3x5 stars.

Large outdoor area, clean toilets and nice employees

A big and beautiful McDonald’s restaurant – I really liked the design. We didn't have to wait long for our order. I ordered a Big Tasty and wanted to leave out the onions. However, when I opened the burger, I discovered a black, curly hair inside. That was just disgusting. Luckily I always take the onions out - what would have happened if I hadn't opened the burger? I immediately reported this to the store manager, but she didn't even give me a response. In addition, the Coke was forgotten with my order. I am very disappointed with the staff and the treatment of customers.

The staff is unfriendly, unmotivated and completely overwhelmed. An Asian colleague brazenly lies to us that she has run out of straws but 5 minutes later brings straws to other customers. Weird atmosphere there.

Burgers were cold but I don't think it's a big deal. It was super busy. It's understandable that things sometimes go wrong.

It's impossible to order something in McDrive because the employees don't understand you!

Great outdoor area, even the dogs were thought of Mega👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻. Our Frieda enjoyed being outdoors. It's nice that someone thought about the four-legged friends.

Super slow service, with the Mc Drive sometimes waiting times of over 30 minutes!

I ordered at the MC Drive counter and had to place the order four times until everything was correct. When politely asked about a straw, there are no more straws. Well, whoever believes it. And finally, the sauces were missing from the dishes. The branch is nice and modern, but the staff still needs improvements.

We ordered and had to wait 20 minutes. The food was no longer warm and the cola tasted very strange. I bar them from visiting this terrible place.

It takes far too long for a fast food restaurant and is still bad👿. I would actually give minus points if I could ☠️.

Compared to the other McDonald's I've been to, I don't eat to pick up and it's always put together incorrectly because I now always have to check. The excuse is that there is always a lot to do even though it's just me standing there and waiting. You can't get Himmber bags anyway and you can order them not packed if you notice it, an apple turnover is given to compensate or you have to wait an extra 10 minutes. The employees also don't understand what you want from them. (German language heavy sp...)

Simply mega, a dog meadow that is fenced in, agility options, dogs are also allowed in the restaurant. Fast service, no long waiting times, you know the food.

A comparatively nicely furnished restaurant, cozy outdoor area with prepared doilies and play areas for children. Nice, helpful and dog-friendly employees. I would also like to praise the dog play area, which is sponsored by the restaurant!

Order like in every McD, food was freshly prepared and hot, which unfortunately isn't always the case. Service was friendly.

It's impossible. Every time we order something is wrong. Why can't you read orders correctly???? It's starting to get ridiculous. Ordered spicy nuggets and normal nuggets, which shouldn't be a problem and spicy nuggets still came twice. It actually wasn't much and it was difficult and we still couldn't do it. Class

I've never experienced anything like that before, where the employee shouts at me across the whole store that I should piss off just because she's stressed and I asked for my cocoa as normal. So outrageous and cheeky. She's definitely in the wrong job. And I'm not one to rush or something like that was a completely normal question

It was okay...ordered in the drive. We ordered 3 different McMuffins and 1 Mc Toast for breakfast. Unfortunately there were 2 McMuffin Bacon Egg instead of a McMuffin Fresh Chicken. Some of the ingredients were stacked at an angle, making them difficult to eat without taking them apart and putting them straight together. Something positive at the end. It went very quickly and the staff was friendly.

Very nice branch. I always order via app, it doesn't take very long to prepare. Employees always friendly. You can stand outside in the parking lot and eat. Everything clean. Several electric charging stations. The only thing I didn't like was the breakfast muffin. Otherwise highly recommended, right on the A31/Emsbüren/in the direction of Emden

Food was super salty and limp. Burger tasted like it came out of the microwave. Service was also bad.

I have never entered such a great branch! Clean and I don't just mean the tables. While we were sitting there, all the free tables were wiped down 5 times and the floor was swept 4 times. It was quite full but the staff was friendly and very attentive!

It's always nice to be there. Well, the staff isn't particularly well trained, but in most cases it works quite well. In addition, the food is usually always nice and warm/still hot, as it should be, and the food is usually ready relatively quickly.

Strawberry milkshake doesn't taste like anything and the toilets aren't really clean either :(

Delicious food, a less stressed team and a very clean facility. The HIGHLIGHT, however, is the great, well-fenced dog meadow, which even had obstacles for dogs and seats for visitors. We can only recommend it!

I like to stop here for a small snack halfway through. The store has just been renovated and remodeled. It has become very nice and clearer.

Toilets are ALWAYS disgustingly dirty. Inside it's either so cold that you're freezing in your winter jacket or so cold that you're sweating in your t-shirt. Burgers are always simply slapped on, some of them look like leftovers for dogs. But they actually taste good. Still not worth the price. It's better to go to a real restaurant for the price.

The toilet was clean, but I don't like the food there.

I ordered chicken burgers take away. But they packed cheese burgers which were like prepared a day before. I had to throw them away.

Rarely have I had such nice service at McDonald's and after the renovation I can only say it was really successful. Unfortunately, we don't have that luck at home. We'd love to come back for a break on our next vacation 👍

Even though it was busy, food arrived very quickly. They were out of Ice Tea but we were offered a milkshake as compensation (which is more expensive). Only downside is that it was rather cold inside.

Worst McDonald's ever. Waiting 40 minutes for the order (café and 1 cappuccino) is not possible. Some people have complained, especially tradesmen who spend their breaks there. Never again this McDonald's, I can only advise everyone to keep driving.

This is sensational - "everywhere" - laminate on the wall. Even the toilet has laminate on the wall - it's like being in an inexpensive workers' hotel. Even the worn hand dryer was framed in the wall area with laminate. The employees were probably so excited that they completely forgot to wipe down the tables. The interior designer probably previously worked in the hardware store in the floor coverings department for walls. Fries lukewarm - MC-Rip was OK.

Extremely unfriendly employee, anything but foresighted - dislike of children? That sums it up quite well. I just got fries and a burger for my two boys. Mc Drive was completely empty - no one there except me. So I stopped briefly to hand the fries to the children in the back. Then I spoke in an extremely unfriendly and loud manner An employee tells me to leave immediately. I told him it was already finished and all I would do was give the fries to the children. He just said no, immediately move to another parking space. So really - some people have zero understanding and empathy. There were no cars there - I didn't hinder anyone... The milk was completely forgotten in my coffee, btw. We will never visit this MCD again!!

Coffee is inedible, unfortunately you can't drink it even with lots of milk and sugar. The service is super rude and the food is cold, the order wasn't right either!

The McDonalds restaurant in Emsbüren is right next to the motorway and therefore about halfway to our holiday destination in the north. We like to stop here... and have something to eat and drink. Everything is the way you want it to be.

I huck grod in Mäcci Schüttdorf. Then I picked up Huan's milkshake and the Mäcci guy brought me the milkshake like it was a grenade and jerked it on the table in front of me and then there again without saying anything. Milkshake is good

Clean McDonald's conveniently located on the A31 motorway. Nice attentive staff. The food, as always, is of proven quality.

This is where it all started!!! ...

Unfortunately it deteriorated significantly after the renovation. Before I always found it pleasant and very comfortable. One of the best McDonald's restaurants. Now after the renovation it's just chaos. Everything is very restless, the guests sometimes eat while standing because there is not enough space. Sorry, I would rather have the old restaurant back. The new one is just terrible

I was there today and I absolutely can't understand the previous bad reviews. It's possible that these also had an effect, as I haven't seen a "nicer" McDonald's yet. At the beginning we were surprised by the flowers on the tables! The women's toilet was very clean, there was bird song and there were even flowers and a few Christmas decorations at the sink. I was greeted with a friendly smile from the staff as I walked past. I was pleasantly surprised by everything!

Completely overwhelmed employee in Mc Café. More than 25 minutes waiting time for 2 coffees. Only after I asked for my money back did I get the two coffees.

Great, everything is freshly prepared and a highlight is the dog playground.

Toilets dirty, water didn't work, and got the smallest McSunday in the world. I pointed out this funny ice cream to the employee straight away, she said it only had to be 90 grams. Weighed it in the car, it was 76 grams.

One of the best McDonald's branches I know. Unfortunately it's usually very crowded there.

A really great McDonald's that we always visit when we are nearby. The branch is very clean and there is enough space. The outdoor terrace is large and invites you to eat together. The food is prepared very quickly, even if something was missing, the response was friendly. The staff is super friendly and we were helped with the trays. Great service in terms of speed and staff.

After the renovation it's now really cold and uncomfortable. The terrace is no longer fenced in with glass. With small children you can no longer sit outside or it is difficult.

Ordered breakfast through the drive. Both the first and second employee were extremely impatient and unkind. Then we got into an argument about mini pancakes that we didn't order and received. In the end it was accepted and 10 of the 12 were rock solid and could be used to smash a window. The eggmcmuffin rolls were burnt and fell out of the packaging in the bag. Nasty place.

One of the best McDonald's branches I've been to recently. Very nicely modern furnished. Beautiful outdoor furniture. Clean toilets! Service staff was quick and polite. (Orders via app with pickup at the counter and with table service) Breakfast products were OK. No complaints.

With the new renovation, very confusing and less space than before.

I ordered and paid with the McDonalds app, then an error message, no order arrived!! Ordered and paid again manually, then received order and payment confirmation from the app. Apparently there is no second order, a great cappuccino for €9, great service!! Now I have to do what McDonalds can't do. And perhaps important, it wasn't the service, which was very nice.

Once and never again, dirty, unfriendly food was cold, the fries were very hard and dark. One gentleman stood around and watched the people, during that time he could have wiped the tables. The toilets were very unclean, clogged. The door The kitchen was open, so dirty. So many employees there, but somehow nobody did anything.

Nowadays, no matter which McDonald's I think is really shit, the quality of the food is now miserable, let alone the prices for the lousy food. It's better to eat in a high-quality restaurant where you don't pay much more but you get much better food

During renovations to the building, the entire McDonald's was moved to a tent in front, including restroom trailers and parking lot marshals. Logistical masterpiece. Cheers! ...and thank you very much for never leaving us travelers hanging!

Closed due to renovation... Mobile toilets there. How many take me to the emergency restaurant and order at the terminal. Almost as we were paying, a lady came running towards us. No no no, we are closed for renovations.... All visitors leave and complain. Why not a message at the departure that this location is closed due to renovations. A complete waste of time! Next time I'll head to Burger King

On Friday we drove through MC Drive on our way to East Frisia. I ordered a double cheeseburger without a pickle and a Smart Menu Mc Chicken. I got a double cheeseburger where the cucumber was simply removed. Therefore it still tasted strongly of it. In addition, the burger was only lukewarm. Unfortunately, the fries from the Smart Menu were also only lukewarm. What a disgrace. If we hadn't been on the highway again, I would have liked to complain personally!

Normal, solid McDonald's. They had balloons Not everyone has these these days, which made my child very happy And right next to it, the large garden center is perfect!

Unfortunately, people would gossip about us in Spanish in the drive.

This store doesn't work at all. It took forever at the checkout because the cashier doesn't speak German. The burger wasn't really hot. The tables were not wiped down. There were leftover food from the previous people lying around everywhere. Overall the store was very dirty. Apparently the wall tiles in the toilet rooms haven't been cleaned for months. What does the kitchen look like? We don't go here anymore.

Ambiance: It's 8:30 in the morning and the restaurant hasn't been cleaned. Leftover food on tables and benches. Urine stains on the toilet rim, the soap dispenser falls off, the toilet door handle is held in your hand and the toilet rims are no longer attached. Food: Loveless, crooked and cold, “battered together”.

Mr. Dejan was very nice and accommodating. I would visit this store again and again. The service was great. Definitely worth recommending.

Well, just eat quickly, no more, no less. A quick bite is of course never quality. But it's not really bad either.

We went there last Saturday after our vacation because our son was craving chicken nuggets. The food only gets 1 point because he has been struggling with diarrhea ever since. The service only gets 2 points because the staff preferred to chatter and the service staff who were supposed to clean up stood around smelling strongly of sweat. The ambience just doesn't get a point because it was just dirty. You don't expect much at McDonalds, but the toilets smelled awful. And there was dirt everywhere. Old crap. The corners and tiles were soaked from top to bottom. I was really shocked and wanted to cancel the meal. If the toilets look like that, you don't want to know what the kitchens look like. You should actually get the veterinary office involved. The chattering staff should clean instead.

This McDonald's is located as a kind of 'car stop' next to the A31 in an industrial area. Since we only used this McDonald's for our needs, we can only rate the toilets, and they were very clean.

Great coffee stop on the A31 ;-)
