Unfortunately, the restaurant was very crowded. The service was very attentive and tried their best. However, the food wasn't served as expected. Some dishes weren't quite hot, and the burgers weren't cooked enough for our liking.

We lacked nothing and a big compliment to the kitchen.

Simply offer beautiful things and friendly service.

We were there for breakfast and we really enjoyed it.

We had a very good meal there in a cheerful, rustic atmosphere. The service was excellent. The lovely walk around the lake is highly recommended.

How sad. It's deserted in the middle of the week during peak season... Not where I'd want to be, so I left promptly.

We ate at Ems Island today. My companion's schnitzel was good. Half of my steak was medium on the first attempt and the other half raw. It was also difficult to cut and difficult to chew. It felt like a rubber band. I then got a new one, which had the same problems. Furthermore, the fried potatoes, which were advertised as crispy, were mushy and barely edible. The plate was drenched in gravy. The only good thing was the raw vegetable salad. No adequate compensation was offered. At €36 for a steak, you'd expect quality. It's a shame. Not recommended if you want to eat steak.

Unfortunately disappointing – despite the nice ambiance The restaurant actually has an appealing ambiance, which initially gave me hope. Unfortunately, this impression was quickly tarnished: the glass was dirty, the staff seemed overwhelmed and not particularly attentive. The value for money is also not good in my opinion – simply too expensive for what is offered. It's a shame, as much more could have been achieved with a little more care.

We just arrived by bike. We're sitting on the large outdoor terrace and wanted a drink in the beautiful sunshine. Unfortunately, when we ordered at the restaurant, we were told: "The terrace isn't open. You'll have to sit down here." Too bad, there was no sun there. So we left immediately, thirsty. We're used to it differently there. This time, unfortunately, was a disappointment.

The meat was very fatty. (It was definitely not fried in butter, but rather in a deep fryer.) The portion of fries was small. Mayonnaise was forgotten. The server served us last, even though we arrived early, and no one came to us during or after our meal. We waited 30 minutes and eventually had to go inside to pay. We were simply forgotten.

Steak for €36, completely oversalted. You could practically taste the sea. The chef didn't dare try it and instead fobbed me off with platitudes. 0.7 liters of water cost almost €8. Last visit and definitely not recommended.

My niece celebrated her confirmation here last Sunday. The waiters were very kind, attentive, and accommodating. The food was excellent. Although it was very busy due to the weather, we didn't have to wait long for drinks and food, and the staff didn't seem stressed at all. Thank you for your hospitality. It was fantastic all around.

Nicely located restaurant. Despite the crowds, you were struck by the peaceful atmosphere, the view of the water also plays a role in this. The waitress is very friendly and beams with a smile to put the customers at ease. I will come back with my children and grandchildren. (They can enjoy it too) The food here is good and tasty. I saw the Ems Island restaurant on my bike ride today. The restaurant, the landscape, the Ems River, and much more were absolutely fascinating. I'm still completely amazed by this wonderful place. The wonderful atmosphere and ambiance in the restaurant were overwhelming. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was absolutely delicious 😋 and I really enjoyed it. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Ems-Island in Lingen and loved it. The atmosphere is inviting and cozy, the staff extremely friendly and attentive. The menu offers a diverse selection of delicious dishes that are freshly prepared. The steak is particularly recommended. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to Ems Island!

So the ambience is TOP. The food is also very tasty, but I found that my mega burger lacked salt in the patty and the sauce could have been a little richer. Because the burger was a bit dry. Otherwise, the food looks super appetizing and our friends were all satisfied. You can have a good meal here.

Mixed overall, senior plate was perfectly fine, fish and chips. The burger on the children's plate was also sappy and not really well done and the fried potatoes were at least not freshly made and therefore tasted a little bland and sometimes not completely cooked through.

Very tasty food in this very busy restaurant. Nice location! Advice: absolutely book in advance to avoid disappointment at the door. The crowds and presence of groups makes it a bit restless/noisy. Price and quality are in balance here.

OK as a vegetarian. Many dishes are offered as vegetarian, but almost all of them had Parmesan in them and Parmesan is NOT vegetarian!! You can't order bruschetta without parmesan because it's overdone by the tomato mixture and as a topping. The bruschetta-style pizza is also labeled as vegetarian, but can also be ordered with parmesan and cannot be ordered without parmesan. Chef or owner don't have much idea?? The chocolate waterfall more than surprised us, absolute recommendation.

Service was very friendly, starters and side dishes were very good and tasty. Only the ready-made schnitzel doesn't do the restaurant justice. Please serve a proper schnitzel, freshly breaded and fried. Then everything is great. Drinks with plenty of choice. If you choose a beer, please also draft it.

Das Restaurant besticht durch seine elegante Atmosphäre und ansprechende Ästhetik. Preislich bewegt es sich im oberen Segment, und die Portionen sind eher klein gehalten. Geschmacklich sind die Gerichte in Ordnung. Die Garnelenpfanne für 16,90 Euro empfand ich als unverschämt teuer. Das Gericht bestand aus lediglich fünf Garnelen und vier halben kleinen Tomaten in einer Knoblauchsoße. Geschmacklich war es in Ordnung, doch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt hier definitiv nicht.

Mehr Schein als sein ! Waren mit 5 Personen dort essen , der Service war mit dem Ambiente noch das beste ,die Pommes haben geschmeckt wie schonmal aufgewärmt sowie die Rosmarinkartoffeln , Das Rumpsteak für 36euro eine Frecheit ( nur Sehnen pur) das Gemüse dazu nur Matsche , selbst Imbissqualität ist das nicht mehr . Wie man sagen kann das Essen wäre hier lecker oder gut ist mir schleierhaft … bei 5 verschiedenen Gerichten mit Vorspeisen war alles unterdurchschnittlich, das Steak sowie das Schnitzel eine Katastrophe. Als Wiedergutmachung gab es 1 Runde * Getränke* aufs Haus sowie eine schnelle Entschuldigung hinterher . Fazit : Erste und letzte Mal .

Die Enten wie Gummi, die Pizza mit Sahnesosse ertränkt und Schnitzel wie aus dem TK Supermarkt. Wir waren mit 12 Leuten dort. Am Kopfende des Tisches hat man sich wegen Splitter an der Tischkante den Pullover aufgerissen. Wir kommen bestimmt alle nicht wieder!

Wir waren mit mehreren Leuten dort. Der Pannfisch war lecker. Die Schnitzel könnten hochwertiger sein. Nettes und bemühtes Personal.

Spareribs: leider waren das die schlechtesten Spareribs, die ich je gegessen habe. Einen Grill haben die nie gesehen. Alles hart, trocken und unheimlich fettig. Haben ungenießbar nach Schwein geschmeckt. Knochen ließen sich nicht vom Fleisch lösen. Würde ich nicht wieder bestellen.

Mit 4 Personen und einem Baby 👶 waren wir am Sonntag zum Frühstück im Ems-Island. Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Platz am Fenster und auch den Kinderwagen konnten wir gut unterbringen. Die Auswahl am Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut und es wurde zügig nachgelegt. War für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Kaffee gab es in Thermoskanne. Super 👍 Es war ein sehr schöner Vormittag 🥐🍎🍇🍅🍞🥚🥠🧁wir kommen gerne wieder 🥰
