TAKES WAY TOO LONG AND BAD RUDE STAFF!!

It has little to do with fast food; I waited over 10 minutes for a small breakfast. The benches and tables were very dirty and covered in crumbs. So I'm still sitting here waiting for my food.

We went to Drive-Thru in Wetzlar with our grandson today. We paid over €34 for four large fries (€4.79 each), two chicken burgers, and one 6-pack nugget. The price for the fries is outrageous. The fries were completely soggy and the burgers were slapped together carelessly. Unfortunately, we didn't notice it until we got home. We will definitely not be going to McDonald's again. For €19.16, we get almost 8 kilos of frozen fries at home. We'll be making our own burgers at home from now on.

Absolute disaster... We just wanted a quick breakfast. First, I was kept standing at the checkout for about five minutes, and then I had to wait another 22 minutes for my food. Of course, everything except one thing was cold. Unfortunately, it's far from what it's supposed to be.

McDonald's, of course. Today the service was fast and good.

The restrooms are in a terrible condition despite the lack of customers this afternoon. The kitchen is full, but the preparation is very slow. I hope they clean the kitchen better than the restrooms.

Portions are getting smaller while prices are constantly rising. Breaded foods are getting thicker and thicker, while the contents are shrinking. Price-performance ratio is increasingly leaving more to be desired.

Ordered at the MC Drive-In, but they forgot about two cheeseburgers...5 euros. Absurd.

I was there an hour before closing time when they put a lot of pepper and salt in both of my burgers which made them inedible. I wish they would send the health department there or go through the camera recording. I think that's terrible. That was on August 19th, 2025.

Unfortunately, the waiting times and the general organization leave a lot to be desired. Ordered apple turnover and received expired cherry turnover is just an example. This works better in other branches!

So this visit was a real disappointment! 1. There were no ice cubes. 2. I couldn't even pick up the burger because the top bun wasn't on the meat, which in turn wasn't on the bottom bun either. Unfortunately it was very difficult to eat. It was Sunday at 12 noon and not really that busy at the McDonald's in Wetzlar. There were 5 employees, everyone was doing something. But maybe they should have paid more attention to the food and drinks. Someone could have taken this time to look after the ice cubes, which I think should be in the drink without being asked. Or they could have taken a second and put the burgers together properly. Otherwise it was OK. But the fact that the two main things, the food and the drinks, aren't working... that's unacceptable for a restaurant.

Unfortunately, disappointing again – I won't be coming back. I've ordered from the drive-thru several times, but unfortunately, something is usually missing, this time the 6-piece chicken nuggets. This has happened almost every other time I've been there. The preparation of the burgers also usually leaves a lot to be desired: They're poorly stacked, seem carelessly topped, and simply don't meet the standard you'd expect. A look at the other reviews shows that many customers have had similar experiences. It seems as if nothing has changed despite the repeated criticism.

Very good store, excellent table service, everything clean and nice. I'll be back.

It's not nearly there. It's been longer than waiting for truffle pasta at an Italian restaurant.

After the Grimace shake I had diarrhea

I ordered a meal with a Big Mac in the app using a coupon, but unfortunately, everything was there—only the Big Mac was missing, even though it was listed on the receipt. The second pack of nuggets was also missing, even though the receipt stated that the meal should have included a Big Tasty, two packs of nuggets, two Cokes, two portions of fries, and a Big Mac. So, one Big Mac and one pack of nuggets were missing from the entire order. I'm upset that I paid for an incomplete order.

You wait forever for the food you ordered and paid for.

After years, I'm back at McD. Cheeseburger for 2.50, and it's so small you need a magnifying glass to find it. Never again.

I just tried the new Chicken Big Mac. Well, nothing special. I prefer the beef version. The "chicken" had no flavor and an unclear texture. The Coke came with ice instead of without, despite my request. The fries were way too salty. And the burger came without pickles, despite my request. Just a typical McDonald's visit. Cheap staff seem to be better than those who can speak, write, and read normally. The tables and floor are filthy. The garbage trucks are full. The staff prefer playing on their phones or chatting to cleaning.

The constant beeping of the fryers and kitchen appliances is so loud and persistent that we only eat in here in an emergency. Nobody seems to care. Typical McDonald's. I honestly wonder how the poor staff can put up with it all day. It's almost assault. I was just there again and had to endure the noise for half an hour. The food was OK so far.

Unfortunately, I'm very disappointed. I ordered food for my family today through the app for over €70, and when I unpacked it at home, two chicken burgers were missing. This isn't the first time something has been missing from an order, whether through the app or at the store. It simply happens too often that products aren't included. For the price, I expect the order to be complete.

The food was very cold we wanted to exchange it then they replied back freshly never again

Today while passing through I got an appetite for a “quick” breakfast and stopped at McDonalds in Wetzlar. As usual, the order was quick and so was the payment. I waited 12 minutes for the small coffee and the toast, the roll with the chicken was still not ready after 20 minutes - it was still in the oven. One person tried the lone wolf - checkout, drive-thru, service and McCafe and was hopelessly overwhelmed. So I left the bun alone and went back without having done anything. Fast and good looks different and works much better

We were just there to eat. The lady called out the number 265. I said yes and showed the piece of paper with the number 265 on it. I sat down at the table and noticed that the food was wrong. So I went over and asked if I had received the wrong food. After speaking to the manager, it turned out that I really had the wrong food and then nothing more was said to me. I waited a few minutes and just when I was about to say that this is too stupid and I want my money back, the food was suddenly ready. In short, I didn't want to spend any money and had a little argument so that I could get the right food. McDonald's is over for me.

Went to McDonald's again after a long time...but only because of the time, there wasn't anything else open... Big mäc + fries...what is that 😳 He's only half as much....looks like a normal citizen....the price/performance isn't right anymore.....

Shortly after leaving the store, the packaging for the big mac and the m was already completely soaked with grease/oil. There was nothing left of the rap, everything was stuck to the packaging, the fries were totally over salted, the cola was not edible and was put away after one sip. I can only advise everyone not to eat there or order anything. I have already given this McDonald's the 3rd chance and nothing has been improved. We ordered on the screen. When I wanted to add something to my order, I was greeted very rudely. I should only order on the screen. The fries were in the frying basket seasoned and it was generally inedible the staff were very unfriendly and you could tell they didn't feel like it very bad all in all this was my last visit it got worse every time you weren't given napkins or a straw you should change something as quickly as possible under these circumstances I will advise everyone not to eat there VERY BAD !!!!!!!!! Unfortunately you can't give zero stars here

Nice atmosphere with lots of people, you can even spend hours there. McCafe did something good for McDonald's

Not often 🔥 hot burgers🍔🍟. Delivery orders are preferred 🚗💨. Certain things are not taken into account when ordering from a café...e.g. Lactose-free milk... and the lack of brown sugar is a shame 😞🙁. However, not always. There are days when everything just works great.

First good, then super bad, then very good and now bad again. Burgers are still ok but fries and curly fries are always disgusting. Unfortunately, this has nothing to do with the delivery because they managed to deliver hot, delicious fries for a while. Apparently people are lounging around during preparation and sleeping during delivery. The thing that annoys me the most is that they offer delivery but 90% of the time they don't deliver! On top of that, there are the ridiculous prices that are now being charged. Sorry, but I'm out of the game when it comes to usury for junk food that's prepared inferiorly.

Probably one of the McDonald's restaurants where something is always missing from the bag to take away. Every time you drive through McDrive or order take-out you have to look in the bag and see if everything is in there. And then the staff treats you unfriendly if you forget something. So be careful when you take it with you!!!

It always hits the stop when you crave a late night dinner. It's McDonald's you know what you're going to get when you go there. Royal käse always a good one for me.

Normally I only do reviews of companies that really excite me, because I think if something is good, you should let them know. In contrast to when something is bad - everyone has a bad day, things don't work everywhere and mistakes happen everywhere. But I wanted to capture what I experienced today at the McDonald's in Wetzlar. The positive: we found a parking space immediately. But that was it. But from the beginning: We were in town for dinner today and my boys, who stayed home, wanted food from McDonald's. They sent me screenshots of what they wanted and I thought I'd show it at the counter and then they'd definitely know. How naive of me… how old school! Unfortunately, everything was completely different and it would have been much too easy. Lots of people were working around the counter and kitchen and everyone was ignoring me in their own way. When I didn't let up and really pushed myself, an employee noticed me and said that I had to download the app first, but that the internet wasn't that good here. Orders can only be placed at the machine. After I couldn't register in the app - probably due to connection problems, my partner downloaded the app, registered and we tried to order the coupons. Now the machine kept saying that something must have gone wrong here. I back at the counter. I think my pulse was at 150 by now! If I hadn't promised my two boys, I would have been out again like that. But we fought our way through. After many attempts we finally managed it. Maybe it's our fault that we couldn't reconcile the app, the coupons and the machine. Human help in the form of an employee would have been a dream, but they were probably not responsible for that. When we had paid and were waiting for our food after what felt like 20 minutes, a gentleman came up to us and asked if we had made it - yes, of course, otherwise we wouldn't be waiting with a receipt in our hands. Now it was too late for service - and even more so for jokes - I was really angry!!! Today I realized that my time for McDonald's is up. It was always a lot of money for unhealthy food, but somehow it was still nice to eat there. That's over now and I told my children never to go there again! The employees - at least on this shift today - do their job according to the rules, no service concept, no understanding of ignorant 'older' customers... Customer enthusiasm is a thing of the past. This is where the customer is processed, questions are rather unwelcome, but it becomes even more expensive than it ever was before. The store is dirty, the return cart outside was overcrowded - but I wouldn't care if the service was good - but it was subpar! Guys, is this the future? Does this work in the long term? This is no longer my world! This has nothing to do with gastronomy. The customer is neither king nor the focus here - I had the feeling he wasn't even welcome here! Actually they deserve 1 star everywhere, but my children like it and therefore 3 stars for the food. Summary: No matter the company, no matter the concept... wherever customers come in, they should be treated like customers. Just as an idea, when there is nothing to do or at the next staff meeting: treat the people who come to you the way you would like to be treated when you are there!

The food was better, the service was quick and there were extra displays for good measure. The restaurant itself is rather run down and repairs are usually only made after a very long time

We were just hungry and needed coffee

We ordered a Coke, Sprite, three burgers and potatoes, the employee came with our food quite quickly, 10-20 minutes. The burgers were pretty good, but the cola was just terrible. What came was just water with dye, of course I knew that at McDonald's they add water to drinks, but not to the same extent. The cola was simply tinted, not only did it have no taste, but there was no smell either. It was just sparkling water with coloring in it. Sprite is almost the same but has a richer taste. They didn’t finish the cola and poured it out on the spot, one wonders why we paid for it?!

Always a bit slow, when there is a lot going on there are long waiting times, the staff is quickly overwhelmed and changes constantly. Asslar/Linden or Butzbach are a lot better. We only go here in an emergency, even though we live in the neighborhood. The apple turnovers are always cold or an old woman is there. It's happened to us here several times.

Waited 20 minutes to order while friends who ordered after me got their food straight away I waited 20 minutes for two Big Macs and a Sprite And when I went to the front to say that I would like my money back Because I had nothing I didn't even get my money back because I paid with cards. Otherwise they would have made a minus in the cash register. So I had to argue for 30 minutes so that I didn't get anything in the end. The service is bad. The branch manager is not helpful at all. That just doesn't work anymore! Even pigs treat their food more carefully. I open the box and see a burger, if you can even call it a burger. Everything is crooked, hanging down on all sides, the tomatoes are almost falling out, and the cucumbers are overlapping one another. A drink was also missing from my order. Every time something is forgotten and I constantly have to go to "staff" to get my order. Today I also saw an employee drop a box containing 20 nuggets on the floor. She picked them up on the floor with her bare hands and placed them with the other boxes to be used for orders instead of throwing them in the trash. With the same hands that had touched the ground, she then continued to prepare such "masterpieces" as you can see in the photo. The shift manager stood there, saw everything and said nothing, as if it were normal. We were also served at the checkout for about 5 minutes because there was no one there and no one came. There were only six people in total on the shift, and that was on a Saturday evening. Can't plan enough employees for the rush of customers? This McDonald's violates all corporate standards and ruins the overall image of McDonald's. That was definitely our last visit here. If you want to eat here, go somewhere else, you'll have a more pleasant experience and save money.

The standards are adhered to here, which is not a given. If something doesn't fit, the staff responds immediately and in a friendly manner!

Everything was okay at the drive-in counter, quick processing by a nice colleague.

Zero stars are too many. Employees are rude and shout at customers. Mr. K. is unable to provide factual and orderly information without becoming abusive and loud. No more. I'd rather go to another well-known fast food restaurant

The service leaves a lot to be desired. People constantly forget to add something to the order. If you ask employees to add something they initially forgot, they can put it off for 5 minutes and still forget. The delivery also forgot two positions. So it doesn't matter where you will eat. Please check your order carefully, dear customers! The presentation of the burgers is terrible. Most of the lettuce is in the box. The meat is placed messily and the tomatoes are placed on top of each other rather than individually. You wonder how you're supposed to eat it. It's always dirty in the restaurant. Every time I come I have to wipe the table and chairs because it's impossible to eat in such dirt. Everything in the toilets is wet and the napkins are on the floor. The fries and nuggets are mostly fresh and the Sprite also tastes good. In other McDonald's locations I've been to, the Sprite tastes terrible, but here it's delicious.

It's been a long time since I've been to McDonald's and unfortunately I was reminded again today why I rarely eat there. Not only was I approached in an extremely unfriendly way at the drive-in by the relatively young employee, but I also discovered how incompetent this person was in terms of organization and time management. I have rarely seen the queue from the drive-in stretch all the way to the main street so that when you were finished and you couldn't drive your order from the premises at all. Unfortunately, you have already noticed how dissatisfied the employees there are in general and how they let it out on the customers. I would appeal to the manager to instruct his employees that they should approach the matter with a different attitude then it would be much more relaxed for the employees and the customers.

We pre-ordered food via the app on March 17, 2024. The food was not yet packed when we picked it up. When we got home, half was missing. After a phone call, after a discussion, the food was credited! In my opinion, very unfriendly on site and on the phone. Why do you pre-order? Why can't you, as an employee, pack everything up properly? If it is so difficult to pack everything correctly according to the order, you should do self-service.

Only asylum seekers work there and they don't understand German. Instead of 2 Mc chicken for one price, the seller only entered one for me, so I got one for the normal price and couldn't go back and so he fooled me about where there are vouchers and once I had entered it myself beforehand I only got 3 mc chicken instead of 4. I'll never go there again, the best is in Asslar mc donalds but never here again. The food wasn't really hot either, just luke warm, rubbish, dirty tables, 12 people working, none of them any good, I didn't like it that much either

It's been a long time since I've been back at McDrive. So far everything is okay, fast service and friendly staff. It's a little more expensive, but I still have old prices in mind. All in all 👌.

Ich war eben im Mcdonalds Westend. Da habe ich nach einem Milchshake OHNE Eiswürfel gefragt, woraufhin mir die Kassiererin sagte, dass es nicht geht weil es eine Rezeptur festgelegt wurde. Ich argumentierte mit „In Aßlar machen die das aber auch OHNE Eiswürfel“. Der „Chef“ (Filialleiter) wurde gemein, sagte ich solle doch dann nach Aßlar fahren und ich fragte ihm was das Problem ist. Er drohte mir mich aus dem Laden zu schmeißen, weil es seiner ist und er das machen darf. Ich will garnicht sagen das er das nicht darf ABER ich meinte ich möchte mich mit ihnen nicht Unterhalten um Streit aus dem Weg zu gehen. Und er trat weiter nach. Nannte mich Kollege und hat mich geduzt was ich richtig unhöflich finde und eine Frechheit ist. Während des Gespräches hatte ich einen leichten Schockzustand und war beängstigt.Aufgrund seine Älteren Alters ist man Gleich nicht mehr Wert als ein anderer Mensch. Ich fühle mich entwürdigt. LG vom Jungen Herren der nur seinen Shake ohne Eiswürfel haben wollte und daraufhin fast rausgeschmissen wurde.

W-lan funktionierte leider nicht und da der Laden in einem funkloch liegt konnte ich auch nicht über meine app bestellen. War wirklich ärgerlich

Schon zwei Mal unvollständige Bestellung, aber das Personal ist sehr freundlich und reagiert auf Reklamationen.

McDonalds Essen halt, sind keine Premium Burger aber dafür waren sie wie man sie erwartet, war soweit alles okay. Service geht ja mittlerweile nur noch per diesen bescheidenen Digitalen Bestell-Monitoren, glaube 4 oder 5 sind vor Ort, davon mindestens 2 komplett defekt und die üblichen alle auch schon teils defekt (Bon-Ausgabe) System läuft auch sehr lahm und ist auch 1x komplett abgeschmiert. Ambiente beim letzten mal war sehr schmutzig, keine Wagen für die Tabletten, somit stapelten sich diese auf den Tischen. Parksituation an dem Abend war echt bescheiden, zudem die Beleuchtung komplett oder teils ausgefallen ist. Geht besser... Aber für nen kleinen Hunger oder ne' Cola in Ordnung.

Der Spielplatz war geschlossen und die Pommes total versalzen. Vor allem bei der Kindertüte

Das Außengelände sollte dringend mal gereinigt werden und Reparatur arbeiten vorgenommen werden. Das klettergrüst/Rutsche ist sehr dreckig und überall liegen Zigaretten Rum und ein großes Loch vor dem Klettergerüst mein Kind hätte sich gestern fast den Fuß gebrochen:(

Edit: Bei der Bestellung über die App funktioniert fast alles fehlerfrei. Kann ich also nur empfehlen. Deshalb jetzt 4 Sterne. Eine Bewertung zu schreiben ist hier nicht leicht. Es gibt nämlich Tage da läuft alles super. Die Bestellung wird schnell und freundlich erledigt man bekommt genau das was man bestellt hat. Und dann gibt es Tage da funktioniert einfach gar nichts. Es dauert ewig und am Ende muss man die Bestellung noch korrigieren lassen weil irgendwas fehlt oder falsch gemacht wurde. Das gilt für die Bestellungen im Restaurant und im Drive in.

Was soll man da sagen, den einen gefällt es, den anderen nicht, allerdings finde ich die Preise mittlerweile sehr hoch. Ich weiß man sollte nicht umrechnen, aber wenn man bedenkt, was es nun kostet.

Das MC Donalds in Wetzlar ist eher dem dem Durchschnitt zuzurechnen. Einrichtung ist Standard, Sauberkeit gut bis auf das Pommes auf dem Fensterrahmen lagen. Was wieder einmal negativ aufgefallen ist, es wurde was von dem bestellten vergessen ! Von daher gibt es auch nur 2 Sterne.
