McDonald's in Wernigerode

The food is basically just bread and meat thrown together. No attention to detail; the main thing is that the rolls are stacked all crooked and the fries are soggy. Okay for a quick emergency purchase.

Hi, we bought six burgers yesterday for a total of €39, and unfortunately, they skimped on the sauce and salad on every single one. The McChicken had almost no sauce at all. I wanted to share a photo of the McChicken bun, but it wasn't possible.

When ordering from the terminal, there were no signs with the order number even in a half-empty restaurant, the wait for a Big Mac was about 20 minutes, the storage carts were full, and there was nowhere to put the trash.

When I ordered a McWrap Plant Honey Mustard for €6.99, I received a wrap that was only half full. When I asked if the amount was correct, the staff confirmed it was. Absolutely not recommended. Furthermore, there were used napkins on the benches, and the tables had clearly not been wiped.

The food was delicious and warm enough. The place was kept clean, even though it was really busy. We'll be back.

We wanted to have breakfast with our grandson, but the toast was cold and the cheese was spilled, the pancakes were really just cookies, and the coffee was just bitter. And yes, we know things can be different!

A disastrous first visit. There's not enough parking, and that's just the beginning of our odyssey. We only ordered 20 Chicken McNuggets and a McCrispy. We waited 28 minutes for our order. Since we ran out of time and had to move on, we had it packed up. We then realized that a sauce was also missing. So, you can't really go wrong. Overall, the staff's processes seemed poorly thought out and completely ineffective. While watching, I noticed that our items had already been sitting in the display for about 10 minutes before they were handed over to us. Since I obviously didn't know that the packages there were for me, I didn't point them out. But it's not my job to interfere with the process.

A request for straws when ordering food on-site (you used to get them automatically with your drink) was declined for reasons I couldn't understand. After eating, we didn't know what to do with our leftover tray. All the return stations were overflowing. Too bad, I'm used to something completely different from our McDonald's in Gera.

Food was cold. Cheese and meat inedible.

Since there are no German-speaking employees at the store, it's difficult to get the right order. I pointed this out several times, and I always got the wrong one. After three attempts, I gave up. 🤦‍♀️

Modern and attractive interior. However, the children's play area needs updating. Missing pieces and a very worn look. The climbing wall is good, though.

Absolutely not recommended. The fries were cold and soggy, and the chicken nuggets were just as bad. The table next to us had already been waiting while my wife had ordered. As we finished eating and got up, their food arrived. One employee was more concerned with chatting with fellow diners at the tables than doing his job. This McDonald's is unacceptable!

It wasn't great; half of the order was forgotten. The staff didn't clean the tables. While the tray carts were full, the employees stood outside the kitchen chatting.

Once again, something was forgotten to be packed at the MCDrive. The staff and team leader reacted very rudely. Simply unacceptable.

Always a little crowded, but the service is fast and reliable. Therefore, I highly recommend it.

Fast food is not particularly healthy

Nice and fast service, fairly clean but the decor is a bit old-fashioned. Overall OK.

Nice for a quick bite to eat. Plenty of parking available, depending on the time of day.

I really like mc when you come back from drinking, it's the best thing there is but these prices stop me €6.29 for a chicken burger is just a disgrace

It's not my favorite McD now. The parking lot is very strange and not obvious at first glance. It's ok in the store itself. But the toilets are typically underground. I don't eat anything on site either, I just take away.

Somehow it no longer eats what it once was. The wooden spoons and cardboard straws also contribute. Especially if you liked coming for shakes and ice cream. It's no longer cheap fast food either.

Heute den 31.03.2025 war ich um 22 uhr bei McDonald’s habe mir was zum mitnehmen bestellt und es hat vom Copon die Mezzo mix und 1 Burger gefehlt. Davor war ich auch schon mal bei euch. Und da hatte auch was falsches bekommen.

Once again received an incomplete order!!! It seems to have a system or they are really incapable of reading from a piece of paper/screen! Not just every now and then, NO, EVERY TIME something is missing! It's really annoying, look for focused, reliable staff!

Order only via the stupid touch monitor... Then we waited another 15 minutes for food, even though the shop was empty. Really not recommended!!!

Apparently the dishwasher is broken, so hot drinks are only sold in paper cups. This young man is a very good liar 👍🏻

The type and quality of the food is second to none. Ordering at the kiosk is convenient. The hot drinks and cakes at MC Kaffee are very good. Unfortunately, things are often forgotten at the MC Drive-In. (On December 14, for example, we had two Caesar salads with extra dressing; when we got home, we realized there was no dressing at all.) This is extremely annoying.

Toilet was dirty (the floor was sticky) and the tables were dirty, not wiped down in between.

Everything was great, no waiting time, polite service. The items ordered were fresh and tasted good too

It's become very expensive. Burgers are often put together carelessly. It often takes a long time.

You get the feeling that the employees there are unmotivated and usually make a face like 10 days of rainy weather. Often something was missing from the MC Drive. We're not going there anymore.

Yesterday was the last visit to McDonald's in Wernigerode. After eating a Big Rösti Raclette with my wife yesterday afternoon, I had massive stomach problems last night, including vomiting several times in the evening and into the night today. This doesn't seem surprising, the tables in the restaurant were once again completely dirty, the tablet carts were so full that the garbage was collecting around the return station. There are more than enough employees in the branch, but half of them are just standing around and chatting with each other on a Friday afternoon.

It's unbelievable how you are treated there as a paying customer. Paid with card at the terminal. But once again no receipt came out of the printer. An extremely unmotivated employee changed the receipt roll at another terminal. When I asked if I could receive a reprint of my order, I was completely ignored. Burgers came very quickly... almost 2 minutes later and the fries were dripping with grease 🤨 unfortunately you can't give 0 points!!!!

It's just not the McDonalds you loved as a child anymore. At least this branch was clean.

Hygiene comes last here. The tables are dirty, completely disgusting... The return sections are closed due to overcrowding! I don't understand how something like that can be.

Something is always forgotten when you order via app. Be it the sauces, nuggets or burgers without onions that then come with onions.

Things are constantly being forgotten and you have to check everything. Fries are either over-salted or half full... Always order a latte macchiato plus caramel and pay 50 cents extra for it. It's almost never there. Even when asked if it was in there, they said “yes” and in the end it wasn’t! Simply cheeky! This is the first thing that goes into the cup. Almost everyone who works there is in a bad mood... impossible... then they'd rather go to another branch.

We were forgotten and our food arrived after 45 minutes after we informed. No apology.

Newly opened after renovation and learned nothing. We wanted to have a drink at Mc Café but after waiting a while an employee came and told us that the machine was broken and only served from the vending machine. Couldn't they have just put up a sign? This is how the new MC Donald's looks good and there are now terminals for ordering and you can have the food brought to you (but this is probably just to save on staff)

Kaffee war gut, wie immer. Rührei war zermatschtes Etwas,sehr schlecht zu essen, weil mit Papier verklebt. Beschriftung vertauscht. Als Vegi mag man kein Bacon. waren enttäuscht, HBS kann das besser.

Compared to other McDonald's branches, the employees here are unfortunately rather unfriendly and not very service-oriented. It's almost normal for orders to be forgotten.

Large fries were only half full, the receipt printer doesn't work and party music is playing loudly in the background. It's the worst McDonald's we've ever been to! Small addition (3 months later) On the next order 1 McRib was forgotten and 1 curry sauce. With the prices that McDonald's is charging now, it should probably be possible to get the order prepared correctly.

Everything seemed a little squished together but there was room to eat, which is why I was there anyway, thumbs up 👍

The burger was very fresh, fries were very tasty, and there is nothing to complain about.

This must be the only McDonald's where you're WiFi is limited. So if you go there for breakfast then don't go there for lunch or dinner on the same day. Otherwise you're internet won't work. Food had to go back as it wasn't what I ordered. Disappointed !

Früher waren wir sehr gerne mal spontan zum Abendessen dort. Seit die Preise so in die Höhe gestiegen sind, ist es schon fast Luxus, sich mal etwas zum Abendessen zu gönnen. Heute hatten wir mal wieder Lust und sind im Mcdrive gewesen. Dass die Pommes weder knusprig, noch heiß sind ist man schon gewohnt. Aber das man wirklich jedes Mal Kontrollieren muss, ob die Bestellung komplett eingepackt wurde zerrt an den Nerven. Man hat sonst immer drüber hinweg gesehen wenn MAL etwas vergessen wurde, nur ist es jetzt schon Standart das die Bestellung nicht vollständig ist. Das ist natürlich absolut ärgerlich seitdem ein Cheeseburger schon bei 2,29€ liegt...

We used to love going there spontaneously for dinner. Since prices have risen so high, it's almost a luxury to treat yourself to something for dinner. Today we felt like it again and went to Mcdrive. You are already used to the fact that the fries are neither crispy nor hot. But the fact that you really have to check every time whether the order has been completely packed gets on your nerves. The German employees were super unfriendly and looked like ten days of rainy weather. I would have liked to redeem myself right then and there. I was so looking forward to my McFlurry with caramel sauce. Instead I got a soup with chocolate lentils with 0% caramel sauce McDonald's, that's not possible. I especially sacrificed my money and my coupon for this delicious Mcflori with caramel sauce and chocolate lentils. Instead I got 88% chocolate buttons, 10% ice cream and 2% caramel sauce, that's not possible. I was so excited for the caramel sauce because that's the best thing about this ice cream. Instead I got a fart from this German employee with the beard. Please terminate him. I was so so so happy and he ruined my whole day because he didn't put caramel sauce in my Mac Flori. I've now wasted nice coupons because of this figure because he didn't put caramel sauce in my ice cream. Wernigerode worst McDonald's on earth. Next time I see that German employee, I'll throw my McFlurry without caramel sauce into his face. The only thing that really tasted delicious was the McDouble chilli cheese.

Here it is as good as it can be in a fast food restaurant, the quick appetite is quickly satisfied.

Ich habe letztens dort einen Cappuccino gekauft. Dieser hat schon im Auto super seltsam gerochen. Ich habe einen kleinen Schluck probiert, der Cappuccino war aber ungenießbar. Ich denke, dass entweder die Hafermilch schlecht war oder sich noch Reiniger/Entkalker in der Maschine befand. Ich habe meine Erfahrung direkt telefonisch mitgeteilt, damit der Fehler behoben werden kann (war bereits wieder auf der Autobahn). Es wurde sich weder dafür bedankt noch gab es eine Entschuldigung.

Really a great McDonald's. Rich in burdock for children... Great! I also had a strangely pleasant feeling there that I don't usually get from McDonald's, it was as if there was a very good employee climate there... We were in a family... I have no idea, maybe my imagination... But it was strangely relaxed there!

Mir tun echt nur die ganzen minderbemittelten Menschen Leid die auf die Idee kommen sich nen Burger!!! zu bestellen und dann wundern/aufregen dass er kalt ist. Seid ihr echt so dämlich? Beim BUrger ist lediglich das Patty und das Brötchen heiß. Wenn ich das auf kalten Salat und Käse lege...hmmm ... was passiert wohl. Ja richtig Thermodynamik. Patty wird kalt, Salat wird warm und matschig. Wer Burger will soll den vor Ort verzehren, wer was bestellen will soll Pizza bestellen oder asiatisch. An diesen KOmmentaren merkt man acht dass die Menschen total degeneriert sind. XD
