McDonald's in Weil am Rhein

Completely overcrowded, endless wait times. Parking space free for one hour, after which they mercilessly rip you off. Entering the parking lot supposedly signifies a valid rental agreement. Terms and conditions are posted in an unlit place and contain more text than a dictionary. After 10 minutes, we hadn't even reached one of the ordering terminals, so we left hungry again.

I got an unfilled burger for which I paid over 6 euros. They don't speak English... Worthless.

Dirty – both the floor and the tables. The staff just rearranges the chairs instead of wiping them down with a rag. A 30-minute wait! So much for "fast" food... And in the end, we had to get our food from the counter ourselves after asking twice, but none of the employees could find their way to our table. The staff were completely overwhelmed! What a mess! Never again!

I was there on Sunday night at 12:30 a.m., sorry, it really looked impossible. Trash cans overflowing, tray carts full. Behind the cash register area there were forks, napkins, dirt, etc. lying around the table. It probably hadn't been swept once all day. I come from the catering industry myself and know that sometimes it's not possible to clean or sweep when you're stressed, but at that time of day there was nothing going on and someone could definitely have tidied things up. The worst thing that happened was when I picked up a receipt from the floor and put it on the counter, and I was told that the trash can was around the corner. If the young man had looked around, he would have seen that the whole restaurant looked like a trash can. Maybe the internal McDonald's inspection should come by more often. I've been to many restaurants in this chain, but I've never seen anything like this, really disgusting. That was my last visit to this restaurant.

At first, everything was fine. The food was good, and so was the service. But an employee who had used the restroom apparently didn't wash his hands...

My kids and I had a Sunday breakfast there, they played at the playground and I parked the car from 10:30 till 12:00. Received a fine of 60 Euros from Parkdepot for exceeding 60 min limit. There is no option to pay for parking either. It is unfortunate that staff doesn’t point it out, it is clear that all customers come to such place by cars, we had multiple orders and no one mentioned that time for parking was up!

The staff don't understand German, so you have to repeat everything if you have problems. Orders are incomplete, and politeness is far from it.

I mostly only go through the drive-thru, so I can't judge the ambiance inside, but regarding the drive-thru service, nothing to complain about: fast and courteous. But like everywhere, you have to check if the order is complete... often it's the sauces, but last time it was definitely the drinks that I was missing. However, on a simple note, they asked me which ones and they immediately gave me the drinks, so for that alone I'm giving it 5 stars. Otherwise, I want to point out that although I'm not a fan of McDonald's in France, in Germany it's nothing like it. The fries are better and crispier, the nuggets are excellent and have nothing to do with those in France... and above all, there are still apple turnovers in Germany, which haven't been made in France for a good 20 years, and depending on the season, there are cherry, chocolate, etc. variants, as well as varieties of burgers that also differ from those in France... an advantage for cross-border workers to consume without moderation! 😅

The burgers were cold; it took a good 20 minutes to arrive, and you could taste it. The burgers had been sitting there for over 20 minutes, getting cold. There were also a lot of flies in the restaurant. It was definitely not the quality I'm used to in the Netherlands, and certainly not worth €65.00!

Nice McCafé area – just a shame the coffee came in a cardboard cup (not like in the photos). Sustainability and ambiance: nonexistent. To top it all off, I was sternly warned to park my electric scooter outside. Understandable if it was a nuisance – but as the photos show: The restaurant was completely empty, and there wasn't even a sign prohibiting scooters. It's for rollerblades, but apparently not for scooters. Perhaps an update to the house rules – and a little more friendliness or dialogue – would help.

Very friendly staff, you do a very good job

By far the most unhygienic McDonald's I've ever seen anywhere in the world. In the kitchen and at the counter, there's trash on the floor as far as the eye can see (leftover food, packaging, stains, wipes). It looks tidier in a student dorm. I don't even want to imagine what it's like behind the scenes, where customers can't see or even see it. If the relevant authorities had been there for an inspection last Saturday, the store would have closed immediately.

Burgers are often missing from orders at the drive-thru. They have to check consistently every time. I've taken my order home a few times in good faith, only to find something missing. That's called a rip-off! Complaints by email simply go unanswered.

The food came pretty quickly even though it was busy. Everything was clean. Good service. This was the first time I was asked if we were satisfied or if we had any requests.

Classic McDonald's. Hench if you crave grub and don't care the consequences.

I ate there with my family and children. The experience at this McDonald's in Weil am Rhein is horrible. Employees are yelled at by superiors in front of customers. My children were so scared and didn't want to eat any more. If you ask something about the menu, you're snapped at and told I don't understand German. It's a shame, but this is anything but McDonald's.

Cheaper compared to McDs in Swiss part of the Basel. It's worth it to visit especially if there are multiple people in the group.

We actually like coming here, but the last few times (usually later in the evening) the quality and service have been declining considerably... :( Today's fries were soggy, greasy, and cold! When we asked, we didn't get new fries, which would have been the least I could have asked for... Instead, the employee said, "No, they're warm fries!" We're disappointed, as we're used to something different from this McDonald's. What a shame!

Getting worse and worse They should hire people in Germany who understand German. After a 10-minute wait, the food arrived cold, even though the restaurant was relatively empty.

Today we waited 60 minutes for our order. After 30 minutes, we were told we had another 5 minutes. After another 10 minutes, we were told the order had been mistakenly given to someone else. After another 10 minutes, we asked for our money back and left hungry. There was no apology and no "gift" for our two children. Truly poor handling of our own mistakes.

So ein unfreundliches Personal sieht man wirklich selten. Dass die mal Stress haben okay aber wenn man das Essen zum Tisch bringt und nicht mal ein Hallo, Dankeschön erwidert ist unter der Gürtellinie. Einfach das Essen, quasi hingeknallt, sich umgedreht und gegangen. Mc Donalds stand mal früher auch für Freundlichkeit, es macht einfach keinen Spass mehr hinzufahren, wenn man den Eindruck vermittelt bekommt nicht willkommen zu sein.

Nice restaurant, clean and well maintained, we ate a very good mc do morning, oat milk drinks a delight and a change from the French mc do. Be careful, however, the coffee is not great if you prefer espressos. Excellent mini cinnamon sugar pancakes!

Food as always very good. Unfortunately, some items in our order were not delivered to the table (this has only happened to me once so far). I spoke to the staff about the error - no apology… Doesn't seem to be an isolated case ☹️☹️☹️

Orders are often wrong, burgers are thrown into the box (at least they are always mixed up). The worst thing is the unhygienic tables. I know that you can't keep every table clean all the time, but the team cleans the tables maybe 2-3 times a day. That's why I prefer to eat outside.

Almost every time I order takeout, the item doesn't match what I ordered. Very annoying and really shouldn't happen.

I vowed to boycott any store that works with this criminal rip-off company called Parkdepot! Unfortunately, this McDonalds branch is now also one of them. Here, too, the problem is that 1 hour of parking time is FAR TOO LITTLE, especially with children or when there are larger customer movements! 90 minutes would be much more appropriate. Anyone who exceeds the parking time by even a few minutes will be mercilessly deducted from the Parkdepot company! But not with me anymore!!!

My stomach literally exploded at 2:30 in the morning.

I was there during the off-peak season and the staff were really friendly. Compared to France, the menus are different and cheaper.

I've never been to a McDonald's so clean. The whole time, employees were walking around, cleaning, wiping tables, collecting trash. Even the toilets, which are a problem in many branches, were fine. I don't really think of McDonalds as a place that needs a Google review, but I was so impressed with the staff that I would say "Thanks and keep it up!" want to say.

Another Mtm burger is missing, 11 euros for fries and a cola... what a disgrace! Order placed on 19/02/2025 at 18:59:31 I tried to make a phone call and someone hung up on me, what a mess! 🤬😤 This is THEFT!

Je suis une habituée, il m’a déjà manqué quelque chose , c’est pas un drame , mais là ont a commandé un menu le Mtm et pour 11 euro nous avions que les frites 🍟 et le coca donc sur 4 menu il y en a un qui n’a pas mangé ! J’appelle et le manager comprends rien , normal il parle même pas correctement allemand et de mufle me raccroche au nez ! Leçon du jour , vérifiez toujours votre commande !

Lately the fries have been a little too greasy. It was similar last week, and today we noticed it again with our second order. Maybe they aren't drained long enough. It would be nice if we could pay a little more attention to this - then they would be even tastier. Thank you

Worst McDonalds experience ever, our food was thrown away by employees without asking even though it was on our table. In addition, we could hardly communicate with the employees because they simply didn't speak German, which is something you should expect in a German-speaking McDonald's. My hash brown burger was quite good. Unfortunately the fries were cold and too salty. I don't eat at this type of restaurant often. But every time I ask myself why I have to eat food out of cardboard boxes even though I eat it in a restaurant. On the one hand, it would taste much better on the plate and, on the other hand, it would save a lot of waste.

It's a shame that no one can be found to serve you (even though 7 people were waiting). After 10 minutes of waiting we left again. The staff at the “food distribution” is probably not responsible here.

After waiting 10 minutes I am served. I wanted extra Oreo with my Oreo caramel ice cream and was denied it. I got that much Oreo (see picture) and almost nothing.

For the first time in my entire life, I had food poisoning because of McDonalds. Ordered McWrap Cesar around midnight, Nov 9, I think salat leaves were infected. Barely could walk the next day, suffered from high temperature and stomach problems, had to take a sick leave. I don't know if there is something wrong with these border lands (lack of quality control etc.) or it was just a bad luck.. Anyway, McDonalds is no-go for me now. Terrible. Better to avoid at any cost.

I apparently parked for 2 hours and 2 minutes and now received a payment request for €60 for parking. Absolute rip-off and a really poor number. I was there last time... Dear McD

Seit Jahren besuche ich hin und wieder diese Filiale. Hier erlebt man immer was, aber eigentlich nichts positives. Fängt beim Manager an, der nie kundenorientiert arbeitet, sondern nur für seine Tasche oder Statistik. Dieses hat sich heute mal wieder gezeigt. Wir gaben am Terminal unsere Bestellung zum mitnehmen auf und auf der Anzeigetafel stand die Nummer unter Zubereitung. Nach nicht einmal 1 Minute stand diese unter Abholbereit. Fehlanzeige, wir mussten 15 Minuten warten. Bitte kontrollieren Sie immer Ihre Tüten auf Vollständigkeit, denn in 99% fehlt immer was.

Was there on a Wednesday afternoon. It was quiet and not that crowded. Staff were just training other staff and seemed stressed/annoyed. Otherwise everything is fine. There are plenty of parking spaces, but a maximum of only 60 minutes are free otherwise you get a parking ticket.

I really enjoy eating at McDonald's, I've been to many McDonald's restaurants in many countries or within Germany. But the McDonald's in Friedlingen is by far the worst quality McDonald's I have ever visited. I waited 1.5 hours for my order and not for the first or second time... Nuggets were ok, burger had been in the warming cupboard for a while (salad was already soggy) fries smelled of old fat... I think that the deep fryer fat had not been changed for some time. My living room and kitchen also smelled disgustingly like these fries afterwards. That's the last time I ordered there

Dear Mc's team We had dinner with you today. We waited quite a long time for our food, but we understood that because there was a lot going on. But the fact that we got cold burgers and fries after almost 40 minutes of waiting wasn't nice at all. The only thing that was hot and fresh were the nuggets. What a shame! What we also didn't understand was why everyone who kept coming in and ordering takeaway was served first.

I don't recommend the McDonald's in Weil am Rhein, I was ten cents short of ketchup and they weren't even able to be generous and offer me ketchup for 40 cents instead of 50 cents. It is unacceptable. I recommend McDonald's in Saint Louis where the ketchup is free. Kind regards, thank you

...I just felt like having breakfast at Mecki again... The welcome was friendly and the food was delicious.

I've known this restaurant for 10 years and unfortunately I don't find it very clean. But still the restaurant itself is ok. The workers are very nice and the toilet is free!
