McDonald's in Wedel

I was charged the reusable deposit for the McSunday ice cream, but received it in a paper cup. Awful fraud. Another time, we had bad ice cream that tasted really sour. Addendum from October 7, 2025: Today, I bought, among other things, three Happy Meals, and all three were missing the toy (the current collectible figure). Unfortunately, I didn't check right away and only noticed it when I got home. It's annoying that they pack so sloppily. The store wasn't busy. It's also annoying because we only bought the Happy Meals because of the figures. You really have to check everything carefully every time; you can't rely on the employees.

Tables weren't cleared. And every table wasn't wiped down. I got a disinfectant wipe from my car.

With a "takeaway" delivery, they offer a Royal Cheese hamburger instead of extra cheese, with no cheese at all. And then they can't be reached by phone! Not like that!

The service was very fast and you can pay by card and cash. The toilet is free too.

I once waited an hour for a meal. And today again, just for a McFlurry. 20 minutes. A friend ordered a large meal and got it right away. How can that be? ?????????????? I'm still waiting.

The opening hours posted on the door and online don't match the actual hours. When I politely questioned or pointed out this situation, the shift manager simply responded with a rude reply that it was something else. He didn't explain what. The food was basically the same as at any McDonald's. Nothing special.

McDonald's food as it should be. It's a franchise system, what could you possibly go wrong? The restaurant itself is the dirtiest and most disgusting McDonald's I've ever been to. Once and never again! You can't enjoy the food here. Not a chance!

Things are constantly missing at the McDrive or the products are incorrect.

Visited during International Week, so I didn't get a standard burger. I was impressed by the selection. Takeout, so no further review.

The place is simply a disgrace. Prices like those in a brothel, soggy, soggy fries and nuggets that are cold, too. The restrooms stink like a train station toilet, and that's at 11 a.m. Hopefully Burger King will find a new operator soon, Dennis McDonald's Wedel flat.

Great staff and organization for years

Yeah, it's quite expensive, but you know that at McDonald's. The staff seemed very unmotivated and unfriendly. The women's and men's restrooms were an absolute disaster. I think the public restrooms are cleaner. We felt sick for a moment, so we stopped until we got home. The food was ready pretty quickly and still warm, but very carelessly prepared, probably blindfolded.

We rarely go to the Golden Seagull; if we do, it's here and via the drive-up. This time was our last! Every order that isn't meticulously checked is wrong! This is often due to the large orders some people place via the drive-up. This seems to push the team to their limits, and you end up standing in line forever instead of letting the SUV moms drive up so the smaller orders can be handed out! The food itself, when you get it as ordered, is up to good MC D standards.

Hygiene is apparently nonexistent here. People are using their hands to fill the McFlurry cups. They're using their whole hands to press them into the cardboard. Simply disgusting.

So far, this is one of the few McDonald's that hasn't forgotten anything. The staff here is also very friendly and seems reliable.

We wanted to order a coke and they didn't give us a coke even though we had money just disrespectful They deleted our menu and just gave it to small children

Sometimes it's rubbish, sometimes it'll work

The prices are awesome - 4.29 euros for a large fries. Took it in the McDrive and unpacked a manageable portion at home. Reweighed: Instead of the official portion size of 160 g, it was just 110 g. Given the price, that's just cheating.

Not exactly the nicest area and branch...but it has most of what MC Do is supposed to offer. Unfortunately no café. Coffee is also available but only in cardboard. The staff were nice.

Tonight we tried McDonald's Wedel again after a long time and unfortunately in retrospect it was a huge mistake. I ordered an M Burger via the app and picked it up at MC-Drive. First we had to wait forever at the window (quickie restaurant is different), when we got home (5 minutes drive) the burger was cold, the green salad from the burger wasn't on the burger, but in the box. The two slices of beef were carelessly slapped on top and didn't really lie on top of each other. You can avoid contacting us by phone to make a complaint. In three attempts, no one answered the phone there. They probably already know why. Definitely never MC in Wedel again.

After a long time I got something from Mc Donald in Wedel and was immediately disappointed again. Got the Mac Bacon without bacon. Telephone contact impossible because no one answers. No order goes by without something missing. Do you have to unpack and check the burger now?

Haben heute Abend nach langer Zeit mal wieder MC Donalds Wedel probiert und es war ein Riesenfehler im Nachhinein gesehen. Ich habe einen M Burger über die App bestellt und im MC-Drive abgeholt. Zuerst mussten wir ewig am Fenster warten (Schnellrestaurant geht anders), zuhause angekommen (5min Fahrweg) war zum ersten der Burger kalt, der grüne Salat vom Burger lag nicht auf dem Burger, sondern im Karton. Die zwei Beef Scheiben waren lieblos draufgeklatscht und lagen auch nicht wirklich aufeinander. Telefonische Kontaktaufnahme für die Beschwerde kann man sich schenken. Bei drei Versuchen ging keiner ans Telefon dort. Die wissen wohl schon warum. Auf jeden Fall nie wieder MC Donalds in Wedel.

Who gets deliveries from Mecces???? It's your own fault... How comfortable do you have to be? And then complaining that it's cold😄😄😄 we're really lost....

It was a bit cold on 08.02.2025 but otherwise cozy

We often visit this shop after walking our dog, to fortify ourselves with a cheeseburger, Big Mac, and fries. I don't find the atmosphere inside appealing at all, so we take every opportunity to sit outside, which our dog also loves. She also loves getting a bite of the burgers, of course.🐕‍🦺😍. The sad thing is that the service is sometimes incredibly poor. We (and several other customers) waited outside at the ordering system on several occasions and no one answered. As a result, we were forced to park and go into the shop to order on several occasions. Unfortunately, some of the staff don't speak German very well and seem to have simply ignored our complaints.

My girlfriend and I went to the drive-thru in Wedel and ordered vegan plant-based nuggets, but unfortunately, we got meat-based ones. As is only natural, we trusted that we would get what we ordered and ate them. Neither of us has eaten meat for years, and we were shocked when we realized after a few bites that they were chicken. That's a bit of a loss of trust. It's a real shame!

Food was wrong, several items were missing. Fries cold. The place is very dirty. When asked, the response was defiant. Toilet was absolutely disgusting. One of the worst McDonald's I've ever been to.

Usually delivered cold, the majority of them are incredibly unfriendly, especially on site, and as soon as the evening rush is at the door, thanks to the "stress" someone is often overlooked, not served or entire orders are lost. If there are no decent staff, you can leave it alone.

Ordered food, arrived at home, Big Mac wasn't there but paid for it, it was never such a shitty shop again, always the same.

I just ordered something to take away and unfortunately I trusted that the order was complete. THAT WASN'T NOT THE CASE. AND NOT THE FIRST TIME EITHER. They cannot be reached by phone to complain. I would now like to know who I can contact and how MD will reimburse me in such a case?

Every time the order is wrong or something is forgotten. The order will be exchanged or improved. But an apology is not received. Can't you train the employees properly so that the order finally works? The burgers are carelessly thrown together and simply look worn out. Some employees can be seen that they have no interest in their job and are just “working off” their time there. After all, it works at other branches, so why not here?

You can treat yourself to it every now and then

McDonald's used to be a high light. Now a big disappointment. Order: instead of 2 bags for kids just one, instead of cheeseburger an indefinable citizen with chicken? When the second kids bag we ordered came, the other fries were already cold. Service not exactly friendly. However, it was cleaned and the other leftover food was swept away.

A typical McDonald's. Food good. Fast service, even at the table. Indoors ok, outdoors dull and without shade.

With prices now so high, I only go there when there are offers and my sugar level leaves me no other option. 2 people despite the offer €23 (over 40 DM) for burgers, fries and a coke. The atmosphere at McDonald's is always more like one Station waiting room comparable, but quite clean and tidy. You can't judge service because there is none. You type yourself to death on the board and pick it up yourself. At least they don't ask for tips like many coffee shops. So every now and then you need this sin and it tastes pretty good, but only every now and then. Price value is different.

Very bad service, employees have no idea what I ordered and don't even give me my drinks. I have to talk to him and then he seriously asks me which drinks I ordered?! Then I tell him which ones I ordered and he still gives me the wrong ones. Then he still wants money from me even though I paid online. The apple bag was missing from my happy email And the nuggets are cold as if they were like chocolate bananas on the dome in the fridge NEVER AGAIN MC DONALDS WAVES!!!!! Pure disaster!!!

Everything was okay, two things on the order were forgotten, happened, small playground was great, relatively nice. Then I go to the toilet and a urinal is almost overflowing and it smells awful. Therefore a deduction of 5 points because of the order and -1 point for the toilet... it was busy but when I complained there was only a blank, helpless look. No assumption of responsibility in customer contact... -1

It's a good snack between meals and the shop is nice too

Is one of the better run McDonald's restaurants. They seem to adhere to the hygiene rules and always have everything there and rarely have crossed out article pictures. The attempt to get a sausage burger for breakfast failed. I had to do 3 laps total through the drive because they gave me the wrong burger twice. That was about a month ago and that's why I'm correcting the stars given for the service.

Just not enough sauce on the burger

For the second time with the same lady, on July 19th around 1:45 p.m., I received too little change at the second window. Unfortunately it was only noticed again when I was driving away and both times it was €5 too little and no receipt. This should be checked internally!!! It doesn't work at all! Especially when the cash register shows what you receive in change! So it can't be a real mistake!!!!

We ordered from Lieferando. After an hour we called McDonald's to inquire about the whereabouts of the delivery. The person I spoke to was unfriendly, apparently put the receiver down and didn't answer again. We hung up at some point and got the money back via PayPal.

Normal McDonalds there isn't much to say, but what you have to note is that very often orders are incomplete. I would say at least 3 orders that you place there are missing. There is always something missing in 1, so they always give you a receipt and check directly

Fries cold and sticky... Burger cold...

Food was okay as usual. Service was friendly, food was brought to the table quickly. What I noticed negatively again was that almost all of the tables were smeared or dirty. This is due to the customers there - but the owner should react to this and clean and (!) disinfect the tables even more often. This is about food! The usual “quick wipe with a damp cloth” cleaning is not sufficient here. My opinion.

Of course, there is never any ambience at McEs. But of course the food and service are great - but of course McEs is now as expensive as a good Italian...but sometimes it just has to be McEs 😀

Orders from home always arrive before the specified time. Only the one supplier who never speaks is a bit creepy. Otherwise it's the usual unhealthy run-of-the-mill food that we've known for years.

Always clean the ice machine. Food not worth the price. And Syrian music is playing, welcome to Germany.

My children and we go there every two weeks to eat something, we spend over 60-70 € each time and today for the second time they make our order wrong or something is missing. I go to the counter and talk to the employees and ask about it what's missing from what we ordered and they give it to me and make fun of us and talk behind me, you're simple and I pay money. Oh well, you don't give us anything for free, behave yourself because next time I'll record it and show you that I swear What kind of people are you? If my children weren't there, I would have shown you what a customer is and chatted with you about this fat woman who should just do her job instead of watching the customers eat

The woman at the drive in was so busy with her boyfriend and put the McRib in a small package in the bag that all I had left at home was mud. She didn't have any BBQ sauce, the apple turnover wasn't hot, not even luke warm, it's probably a joke That's why I set off again at that time 😡🤦‍♂️

Staff was very friendly and the price is ok if you have the voucher app. The Bigmack was great but the royal cheeseburger was terrible

Today I was eating there with my children, the employees let customers smoke in the restaurant and are unfriendly when you talk to them about it. This behavior is really not nice and not a recommendation for families and for people who have bad breath

Es ist jetzt das zweite Mal in Folge ,mit weitem abstand,das ich bei diesem McDonalds Probleme mit der App und den Terminals hatte. Die App sagt die Filliale ist geschlossen und am Terminal scannt er meinen QR-Code nicht und den Zahlencode akzeptiert er auch net. Nach 15 Minuten vor Ort mit der App und dem Terminal am kämpfen haben wir beschlossen eine andere Filliale aufzusuchen. Danke für die Zeitverschwendung hier nie wieder!

Bin hier vormittags eingekehrt. Nun muss man wissen das ich schon ein alter Sack bin der mit diesen ständig wechselnden Anzeigen für irgendwelche Menüs nichts anfangen kann. Der Wunsch nach frisch zubereiteten Rührei mit Bacon konnte nicht erfüllt werden. Ist wohl nicht mehr erlaubt. Okay dachte ich mir nimmst du einen Kaffee mit für unterwegs. Nun folgt die Aussage warum ich mich hier auskotze. Ein Deckel für den Kaffee aus Pappe. Nach dem ersten Schluck verfärbt sich der Deckel und ein Geschmack und Geruch von durchfeuteter Pappe machte sich breit. Könnte kotzen. Umweltschutz hin oder her. Das war eine dumme Entscheidung von McDonald's. Nie wieder ein Kaffee to go von McDonald's.

Essen war leider kalt,service war nicht so nett

Unverschämte Wucherpreise für die bekannt garantiert krankmachende Qualität. Habe heute zum letzten Mal einen Doppel-Cheeseburger gegessen, dessen Preis in den letzten Jahren von €2,79 um 54% auf sage und schreibe €4,29 hochgeschraubt wurde. Das ist wirklich Wucher! Tschüss, ihr gierigen Drecksäcke!

Wir haben nun schon öfter bei McDonald's bestellt. Ich fand schon vorher das die Preise für die Lieferung zu hoch sind. Man zahlt pro Burger/Menü etc. zwischen 1,50€ &2,50€ mehr als vor Ort im Restaurant und dann kommen auch noch 1,99€ Lieferkosten dazu. Wir haben sonst um die 50-60€ für 2 Personen gezahlt jetzt sind wir bei fast 100€ für die selben Burger/Menüs/Bundles. Das ist wirklich unter aller Sau. Zudem hat des öfteren etwas von der Bestellung gefehlt was aber im Restaurant niemanden interessiert hat. Dass war das letzte Mal das ich bei McDonald's bestellt habe.

Lieferservice: gute Idee, miserable Umsetzung. Fahrer fahren in die Eggers- statt Ebertstr. Kein learning=wiederholt. Essen dann natürlich kalt und zu der eh schon überzogenen Aviszeit kommt noch der 'Umweg'. Mein Tipp: besser werden oder lassen. Fahrerin obendrein noch herablassend und pampig, weil wir sie an der falschen Adresse nicht einlassen und nicht auf dem Türschild stehen. Ups

Schlechtester McD Pommes kalt und labberig Auf dem TS wieder einmal Zwiebeln, obwohl ohne bestellt. Fanta ohne Kohlensäure... Personal schlecht gelaunt

Es war hektisch und dauerte für ein Fastfoodrestaurant zu lange. Das habe ich in der letzten Zeit dort in Wedel leider häufig erlebt. Und bei Bestellungen ausser Haus für 5 Personen fehlt regelmäßig etwas. Das ärgert uns jedes Mal Was mir noch aufgefallen ist, die Mayonnaise schmeckt bei vielen Speisen sehr schlecht. Ein Grund McDonald zu meiden

Wenn Ihr die Öffnungszeiten online und in der App korrigiert, aktualisiere ich meine Bewertung. Hauptsache um 9 Uhr schon per App abkassieren aber erst um 10 Uhr öffnen.

McDonald’s wie man es kennt. Essen war wie immer, also mE grundsolide. Tischservice hat auch schnell und problemlos funktioniert.

Dauerte trotz Bestellung am Automaten sehr lange und bediente alle durcheinander, anstatt mal den einen Kunden fertig zu machen.

Hier wird einfach zu oft die Hälfte vergessen. Dauern muss man das Bestellte kontrollieren. Tut man das nicht, ist der Ärger zu Hause vorprogrammiert. Sehr ärgerlich!

In die Jahre gekommen oder schlechte Restaurantleitung? Hier heute im Innenbereich einen sauberen Tisch zu bekommen, war schon eine Herausforderung. Außenbereich völlig verdreckt. Überall Kippen auf dem Boden, Speisereste auf den Tischen, dreckige staubige Bänke, gesperrter Kinderspielbereich. Rückgabestationen total überfüllt. War früher öfter in Wedel; heute machte die Niederlassung keinen guten Eindruck auf mich.

App zum Bestellen hat erst nicht funktioniert, Personal war dann hilfsbereit und dadurch lief es reibungslos. Für Vegetarier ist auch etwas dabei, was schmeckt. Ambiente ist Geschmackssache aber ganz schön.
