I highly recommend this restaurant. From the service to the drinks to the food, everything was excellent. I asked the staff for a red wine recommendation, and the lady brought me two to try. Simply fantastic service. No long waits for the food. Maybach is simply recommended.

Good location near Media Park. The restaurant is very large and offers enough space for larger groups. But that made it a little louder, at least for us. The service was very quick, friendly and attentive. The schnitzel itself was very tasty and really good quality, but unfortunately the fries were rather hard.

Large restaurant near the Cologne Media Park. It is also suitable for larger groups. The map is clear. Unfortunately, my risotto was very salty and it took a long time to be served. The price level is also comparatively high. I was able to pay conveniently by credit card.

We celebrated our Christmas party in this restaurant and were looking forward to a lovely evening. Unfortunately, our expectations were not entirely met. The menu was given, which is fine in itself, but we didn't have a choice of starter or dessert. There were only a few dishes to choose from for the main course. However, the service was particularly disappointing - it seemed unfriendly and not very hard-working, which unfortunately had a negative impact on the atmosphere of the evening. Overall, a rather mediocre experience that we would have imagined differently for a Christmas party. We would have liked more flexibility in the menu and, above all, friendlier service.

Still sitting in the restaurant and ordered 2 hours ago now. I ordered tapas, so nothing that should challenge a restaurant. Just bad... The restaurant is very poorly ventilated and overly acoustic. Never again!!!!

When we arrived, the first disappointment was that the menu was very limited compared to the map on the homepage. Drinks took a long time and we had dinner 1.5 hours after we arrived. When we asked questions, they just said that there was a lot going on (Thursday evening). No apologies, no drink on the house. Given the price level, it wasn't acceptable at all and there was only disbelief among the guests. The food was okay but expensive, the service was very attentive but completely understaffed. The next time in Cologne will definitely be in one of the other beautiful locations.

To have such a delicious, imaginative, visually appealing meal in the most beautiful beer garden in Cologne with very friendly and attentive service is simply heavenly and a culinary journey of discovery. Thanks for that!

Very courteous service, we never had to wait any longer. The wine list is a clear recommendation, you can tell that the wine was put together with love and knowledge. Our food was excellent and from my personal point of view the portion size was perfect.

My wife & I recently celebrated our wedding with around 40 adults + children in the MAYBACH restaurant. With this review we would like to thank you. From the first meeting we felt very comfortable. The location is on a street with hardly any traffic and has access to August Sander Park via the very beautiful, open terrace. All of our questions, wishes and concerns were heard, understood and professionally implemented by Ms. E. Gdynia. At another meeting with her and the boss and cook, Mr. W. Grätz, the gastronomy side suggested adjustments that surprised us very positively! Well, after our wedding we would like to briefly leave the criticism that is important to us. All of our guests, including us, are absolutely and unreservedly thrilled - by the service, the friendliness, the work ethic, the look of the food - and Ms. Gdynia's never-ending smile. The biggest thank you for that! We would also like to praise Mr. Grätz once again. His ideas, his perception of good & regional food and his ability to implement this perfectly – we would like to take our “hat” off to him. Thanks. Our guests particularly highlighted: Starter – salmon Dessert – the juicy chocolate tart and the very tasty red and white wine. Everything else (pasta salads, pork neck Murroc, sweet potato soup & gratin, potatoes with regional vegetables, corn-fed chicken and so much more...) was of course also very good. We had nothing to complain about! So, cheers to a perfect wedding due to perfect weather, food, service & location. Thank you thank you!

We reserved a table via Google. It worked very well and was well prepared. The staff was very friendly and the food was very good. Unfortunately there wasn't much choice on the menu. But the quality is convincing. Gladly again.

Very nice, long-standing restaurant in the middle of the city near Mediapark/Hansaring with predominantly regional food of top quality. Nice drinks and very nice service. There is a beautifully located, large terrace for the summer. Changing, fine, small, balanced menu, I really like it. There is e.g. B. Zander, grilled green asparagus, salad with goat cheese or chicken and mushrooms (fresh of course), dishes with beetroot, roast beef with garden salad and fried potatoes and a super delicious fish soup, currently pumpkin soup, all in top quality. I really enjoy coming here with friends too. Also suitable for celebrations. Now it's also open on weekends!

Wir hatten uns mit Freunden im Biergarten zum gemütlichen Kölsch mit Halve Hahn verabredet und wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Die Speisekarte ist übersichtlich und ansprechend auch für Vegetarier gestaltet. Das Essen nett arrangiert und köstlich! Der Kellner sehr freundlich und professionell! Das Ambiente im Biergarten rund um die Bar sehr ansprechend! JA, wir kommen sicher wieder.

We had a larger birthday party and were lucky enough to be served by Uli, super attentive service and charming humor, very happy again!

We have often been to a beautiful beer garden near the busy Cologne Media Park. The little detour today wasn't so nice. Unfortunately, the service took a very long time for all the drinks we ordered. The starter plate was smaller than usual and still cost €16.90. That didn't fit, so only 2 stars in total.

Zaterdagavond 25 mei : om 20.40 melden we ons met 2 koppels aan in restaurant Maybach. Neen, we hadden niet gereserveerd. De ober van dienst nodigt ons uit om plaats te nemen in een deel dat eigenlijk afgesloten was, maar dat is niet ons probleem. Terwijl we de menu bestuderen komt er een blonde dame (duidelijk hoger in rang) ons op een kordate, niet al te vriendelijke manier, duidelijk maken dat we daar niet mogen zitten. Dat haar ober ons daar heeft gezet is blijkbaar niet belangrijk. We moeten verhuizen. We bestellen onze drankjes : Mojito (met echte Havanna rum !) staat op de kaart maar is niet te krijgen. Zonder bijkomende uitleg. De witte wijn die dan maar besteld wordt door de dames komt duidelijk uit een fles die al lang openstaat. De heren bestellen twee verschillende cocktails : de hoeveelheid alcohol in het ene glas is duidelijk meer dan het andere. Maar goed. Rond 21.00 u wordt onze bestelling que eten opgenomen. We zien het 21.30 u worden, zelfs 21.45 u. Een koppel dat na ons is binnengekomen heeft hun eten al. Om 22.00 u vragen we even na aan de ober en we krijgen de verontschuldigingen dat het druk is en dat de kok aan ons eten gaat beginnen. We bestellen dus een tweede drankje. Om 22.15 u komt hij vragen wat we eigenlijk besteld hadden, want de kok is onze bestelling kwijtgeraakt. Met de verzekering dat we binnen 10 minuten aan het eten zijn. Na 5 kwartier wachten ? Het kan best druk zijn, maar een ober die zijn tafels kent en opvolgt gaat zelf in de keuken opvolgen. En dan had hij misschien al vroeger kunnen vaststellen dat onze bestelling kwijt was. We hebben dus bedankt, in niet mis te verstane bewoordingen, we hebben de aangeboden koffie geweigerd (we hadden honger) en wilden dus iets anders gaan zoeken. Op weg naar de uitgang wenst de blonde dame ons een beleefd “auf wiedersehen” waarop ik zeg dat ik dit betwijfel en uitleg dat we na 5 kwartier nog steeds geen eten hadden; sterker nog, dat onze bestelling verloren is gegaan. Ze was duidelijk verbijsterd. Ober had haar zelfs nog niet ingelicht. Nog nooit meegemaakt. In de onmiddellijke omgeving was er niets meer over of toch niets dat ons aantrok (Kebab). Dan maar terug naar ons hotel Premier Inn, voor een snack. Hier alle lof voor het zeer vriendelijke begripvolle barpersoneel dat ons om 22.45 u nog een heerlijk en royaal belegd broodje heeft geserveerd zodat we toch nog met een gevulde maag konden gaan slapen.

Friendly service, but completely overwhelmed due to a lack of staff. In between we wanted to go to the kiosk next door. Goat cheese is delicious, but nothing to fill you up. Cesar Salad was described to a friend as a rather idiosyncratic creation. All in all, the food was good - between 3 and 4 stars. Ambiance outside is nicer than inside. Price/performance was appropriate.

On Thursday we were back in the Maybach for a long time; this time in the beer garden. The “Original Vogler-Schnitzel” made from pork loin with lemon and cranberries, served with French fries and salad, tasted excellent and was also filling. I have rarely eaten such delicious crispy fries anywhere. The waiters were friendly and cheerful and the atmosphere was great. The Maybach simply has the right price-performance ratio.

We were guests today with a large group of 11 people. We would like to thank the chef! The food was very tasty and came quickly!

With the Wiessgarten, the Maybach has a real pearl in the middle of Cologne. This large beer garden serves Wiess, which used to be drunk in Cologne before it was replaced by Kölsch (which you can also order). The atmosphere in the Wiessgarten is simply perfect, especially under the spacious umbrella at the bar with its lush trees. From the terrace you also have a wonderful view of the adjacent park. We experienced a great sunset here that reminded us of Tuscany. The Wiessgarten serves Rhenish and southern German cuisine. You can also order from the Maybach menu. The atmosphere is simply great, the staff friendly and attentive. You feel comfortable here – a real recommendation.

The Wiessgarten in Maybach is located in the heart of Cologne. The area in the inner courtyard of the cult bar is one of the largest beer gardens in Cologne and is a real gem in the middle of the city. Here you can enjoy Rhenish and southern German delicacies and cold beer in a great atmosphere. An absolute must for every beer garden lover.

Great business lunch. In addition to the expected, there are also surprising things on the menu. Yesterday I ate black pudding ravioli on warm coleslaw. The hammer! If you can't imagine that, you can find something less unusual and get fed up with it.

We recently spent a lovely evening at the Maybach with a few friends. The service was very attentive and friendly, the food was very good, regional products were freshly and cleverly prepared. The beautiful ambience invites you to linger. We will come back in any case.

The service has been super friendly and attentive for many years. The ambience is still well maintained. Unfortunately, the food is only mediocre, but the prices are confidently at the top level. So we will probably - unfortunately - only come back in a few years and try our luck again. In between, Cologne simply has far too many better alternatives to offer.

There were 16 people there. waited 2 hours for food. People who came after us got their food before us. Salad with almost no dressing, the original bird schnitzel had no taste unfortunately.

Ich schreibe diese Bewertung nicht mit Wut, sondern traurig. Das Essen war so, wie ich es mir vorgestellt hatte, aber der Service entspricht nicht dem, was man erwarten würde. Das Restaurant bietet freitagabends keine lange Speisekarte, was für mich in Ordnung ist. Mein Grund zur Beschwerde ist jedoch, dass wir anderthalb Stunden auf den Essen warten mussten, obwohl das Restaurant halb voll war. Nicht einmal eine Scheibe Brot, um den Appetit zu stillen. Sie bitten nur um Geduld. Am Ende lange Gesichter, weil man kein Trinkgeld hinterlässt. Kein Trinkgeld zu lassen ist nicht mein Stil, aber irgendwie müssen wir ihnen klar machen, dass die Behandlung nicht zufriedenstellend war. Es ist nicht nur an unserem Tisch passiert, sondern auch an Tischen in der Nähe.

Went there yesterday and made reservations for 70 people. There were many other guests there...and 3 service staff. Very small menu, waited 2.5 hours for food. Drinks came slowly and were bad. Eating far too small portions and salads without dressing. SERVICE very very stressed and extremely unfriendly. Never again! Price performance ratio very bad!!

Overall, I can't write much bad about the Maybach and at the same time not much that is overly good either. The food, consisting of a goose leg with dumplings and red cabbage, was mixed. The meat was hard and super tasty, dumplings and red cabbage like they came from a can, maybe even worse (completely subjective). A drink wasn't brought, the staff was friendly but a bit overwhelmed. The ambience in the Maybach is again quite attractive.

A true Sunday meal on a Monday evening. Excellent appetizer platter and outstanding venison. Plus a convincing duck and friendly service.

Letzten Freitag am Abend: beim Eintreten wurden wir sehr freundlich empfangen und zugleich waren wir sehr von der schönen Atmosphäre angetan. Unser Tisch bzw. die Sitzbank bzw. der gegenüberliegende Stuhl waren gepolstert und sehr bequem. Zur Einstimmung tranken wir einen Prosecco rose: wirklich sehr gut. Das Essen: einmal Kalbshüfte rosa angebraten mit frischen Pfifferlingen und Kartoffelgratin - ein echter Genuss. Einmal Nudeln mit frischen Pfifferlingen - ebenfalls ein Genuss. Und als Dessert Kaiserschmarrn mit Vanilleeis und Beeren - auch hervorragend zubereitet. Getränke: ein Glas Grauburgunder, ein Glas Chardonnay: sehr gute Weine. Zum Abschluss 2 Espresso, auch gelungen. Preis: insgesamt 74 Euro, wirklich angemessen für die hervorragende Qualität. Personal: gut gelaunt, freundlich und aufmerksam - auch als es voller wurde. Erwähnenswert: meine Frau bat darum, die Nudeln mit Pfifferlingen als halbe Portion zu bekommen. Das war überhaupt kein Problem und es wurde auch nur der halbe Preis berechnet. Hat man auch nicht oft. Fazit: ein tolles Restaurant mit hervorragendem Essen und klasse Service. Lohnt auf jeden Fall einen Besuch.

It took forever to get the meals served.

Seit Jahren unser Lieblingsrestaurant, wenn es um einen sehr guten Business-Lunch (der Küchenchef lässt sich immer wieder neue Kreationen einfallen) in tollem Ambiente geht. Und im Sommer sitzt man auf der großen, gepflegten Terrasse mit Blick ins Grüne.

Essen war leider kalt und wir mussten lange auf Getränke warten. Ambiente war gut und die servicekräfte nett.

Toller Service, wir haben fast zu jedem Gericht auf Frage nach Empfehlungen einen umfangreichen Hintergrundbericht bekommen. Die Karte ist abwechslungsreich aber überschaubar und wir waren wirklich begeistert von Geschmack und Qualität. Der Biergarten ist schön und das Ambiente innen ist sehr stilvoll. Essen sehr gute Qualität und tolles Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Auch die Weinkarte wirklich fair und gut sortiert. Biergarten ist ein kleines Idyll mitten in der Stadt.

Die Location war schön, wir saßen draussen. Das Essen war gut, Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ok. Etwas seltsam war der Service. Der gute Herr hat alle jungen Kellnerinnen laut rumkommandiert, mit der Bestellung mussten wir warten, weil er sich erstmal „frisch machen“ wollte… Gefühlt war er in einer anderen Welt auf der großen Bühne… so den ganzen Abend.

Das Essen war frisch und lecker. Der Service sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Nur die Suppe wurde in einem flachen Teller serviert. So bleibt sie nicht lange warm.

Immer wieder schön im Maybach! Im Winter sitzen wir immer in den schönen hellen Räumen und im Sommer im tollen Biergarten. Sehr leckeres Essen - Egal ob vegetarisch, Fisch oder Fleisch, alles super. Service ist aufmerksam und sehr freundlich.

Das Mobiliar war eher spartanisch, jedoch waren die Speisen wirklich sehr gut. Das Personal war bemüht, vielleicht noch ein bisschen Coronamüde…was ich aber im Moment noch normal finde. Also insgesamt wirklich ein schöner Abend bei Euch…aber stellt vielleicht ein bisschen um.

Das Essen (Mittagskarte) war übersichtlich, Schnitzel "VogelerArt" mit Fritten und einem sehr kleinen Salat. Es hat geschmeckt aber ich hatte noch immer das Gefühl des nicht gesättigt seins. Für die MitarbeiterInnen der umliegenden Firmen ist das aber mengenmäßig ok, denn ein voller Bauch "studiert" nicht gern. Ich werde aber auch noch von Abendkarte bestellen. Bis dahin!

Ein wirklich schöner Ort in Köln, um gepflegt in herausragender Qualität Essen gehen zu können. Wer frisch zubereitete Speisen liebt wird gerne Gast im Maybach sein. Eine wohl abgestimmte Auswahl an guten Weinen runden den Genuss ab. Wir sind öfters, wenn wir in Köln sind zu Gast in diesem Restaurant und kommen immer wieder gerne. Auch auf die Bedürfnisse unserer Tochter wird eingegangen. Ein schöner Biergarten rundet das Angebot ab. Die Bedienung ist immer sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne.

Wir könnten hier einen super schönen Abend verbringen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Für mich ist der Eindruck immer wieder eindeutig - 5 Sterne. Im Zeitalter von Socialmedia und ständig online, ist es für mich eine Selbstverständlichkeit über die Homepage vorab zu reservieren. Das funktioniert hervorragend und somit keine Probleme einen Sitzplatz zu bekommen. Da ich das Maybach schon über einen längeren Zeitraum gerne besuche, kann ich auch dem Service mit gutem Gewissen 5 Sterne geben. Auch wenn es mal voll und hektisch ist, hat die Restaurantleitung(gute Seele des Hauses) immer eine Lösung parat. Ich freue mich jedesmal auf die frische und raffinierte Küche. Da ich ein großer Fan der Crossover-Küche bin, sind auch hier 5 Sterne gesetzt. Weiter so Maybach-Team . Arne

Went there for a company summer party and we had the whole place for ourselves. The staff was very friendly and solution oriented especially when the DJ issue arose. Would definitely go there again but on normal settings to taste their menu. The grill sausages they served us were DELICIOUS!

Hier hat sich leider vieles zum Negativen verändert. Früher einer meiner Standardläden in Köln! Heute trifft man auf überfordertes Personal, viel zu lange Wartezeiten, die Essensqualität hat extrem abgenommen und was mich am meisten ärgert, ständig geschlossene Gesellschaft! Reservieren über Telefon keinen Chance. Abends dann, genau wie beim letzten Mal, wieder geschlossene Gesellschaft. Wie wäre es hier mit einer Vorabinfo?! Das wars dann leider für mich..

Katastrophe der Laden. Waren als Gäste einer größeren Gesellschaft dort. Viele Mitarbeiter, aber alle überfordert. Essen der Erwachsenen kam 45 Minuten nach Bestellung, das Essen der Kinder 90 (!) Minuten nach Bestellung. Kann sich jeder vorstellen, was da los war. Rate ausdrücklich ab.
