Leider war unser Besuch im Mauritius in Villingen-Schwenningen sehr enttäuschend. Das Essen war sehr fade, kaum gewürzt und geschmacklich leider nicht überzeugend. Als ich den Kellner um Salz und Pfeffer gebeten habe, wurde dies vergessen und er kam anschließend nicht mehr zurück. Auch auf die Getränke und das Essen mussten wir sehr lange warten. Als wir bezahlen wollten, ließ sich der Kellner ebenfalls nicht mehr blicken, sodass wir erneut eine gefühlte Ewigkeit warten mussten. Insgesamt war der Service sehr schlecht und unaufmerksam. Aufgrund dieser Erfahrung können wir das Restaurant leider nicht weiterempfehlen.

Eine Bedinung (männlich) unsympathic, weird, hat mich abgezogen. Ich wollte 5€ trinkgeld geben und der hat mir 10€ abgezockt! Ich habe ganz klar sogar auf 5€ aufgerundet und der sagt und gibt mehr ein. Zudem auch noch dass der mir ein drink meiner wahl nicht empfehlen kann, und mir was anderes angeboten hat was mir nicht geschmeckt hat, aber danach auch nichtmehr gefragt ob es schmeckt. Was soll das? Ich bin ruig geblieben weil ich nicht unangenehm werden wollte, aber so etwas ist absolute unfreundlich. Der sah auch so aus. Ich war schon überall auf jeder der karibischen inseln darunter auch auf Mauritius und war überall essen... aber das was man hier in deutschland für sein geld bekommt, unsympathische bedinungen etc. ekelhaft. Das ihr den Namen Mauritius trägt ist eine beleidigung für den Inselstaat Ich werde in germany nie wieder trinkgeld geben wenn man so ausgenutzt wird, und zu euch nie wieder, ich habe 30k follower auf tiktok denen ich das auch erzählen werde. Wir hatten einen richtig schönen Besuch. Das Essen war super lecker und frisch zubereitet. Das Personal war unglaublich sympathisch, aufmerksam und herzlich. Besonders die tolle Atmosphäre hat uns begeistert, man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Außerdem haben wir schon lange kein Restaurant mehr erlebt, das so aufmerksam mit Kindern umgeht. Es gab Malzeug und viele weitere liebevolle Kleinigkeiten, die den Besuch für die Kleinen richtig schön gemacht haben. Das hat uns wirklich beeindruckt. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder und können das Restaurant nur weiterempfehlen.

Ein super Team und eine tolle Bedienung. Alle sind sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir sind sehr oft als Familie hier und fühlen uns jedes Mal sehr wohl. Besonders schön ist, dass unser Kind jedes Mal etwas zum Malen bekommt eine kleine aber sehr liebevolle Geste. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne und können das Mauritius jedem weiterempfehlen. Ich war bereits drei Mal hier und wurde jedes Mal vom Service enttäuscht. Die Mitarbeiter wirkten auf mich arrogant und kommunizierten in einem unfreundlichen Ton. Schade, denn ein respektvoller Umgang mit Gästen sollte selbstverständlich sein.

Der Außenbereich ist das einzige was nicht sooo toll ist, da der Bereich direkt an der Straße ist. Das Essen war dafür sehr gut und das Personal auch wirklich überfreundlich vor allem Frau Hesse.

Prima Essen. Wir waren zum Mittagessen. Extra Angebote zu fairen Preisen. Als Familie noch gut bezahlbar und viel Platz. Ich denke zu Stoßzeiten wenn die Leute Abends weggehen sicherlich gut voll.

Wir waren heute recht spontan in der Nähe und haben das Lokal ausprobiert. Ich muss an der Stelle den netten Service loben, dazu war unser Essen, die Getränke und das Dessert wirklich sehr, sehr lecker. Wir kommen sicher wieder!

Ich war heute im Mauritius seit Ewigkeiten mal wieder essen und habe mich auf ein Rumpsteak gefreut. Ich habe die Kellnerin gefragt ob es eventuell auch möglich sei das Rumpsteak auch ohne fettrand zu machen ist. Sie hat mir mehrfach gesagt das dies nicht möglich sei und ich mir ein Hüftsteak bestellen soll. Ist ja schön und gut aber der Kunde ist bekanntlich König war in allerdings nicht der Fall. Ich habe das Steak Medium Rare bestellt und bei Medium rare macht ein fettrand wenig Sinn, dazu noch ne Portion Spätzle. Von dem 300 g Steak durfte ich geschätzte 100g weg schneiden mit einem Messer das so abgrundtief stumpf das man das Fleisch zerfetzt hat. Die Spätzle wurden zu 100 Prozent nur im Kombi Dämpfer warm gemacht und portioniert sprich die waren 100% geschmacklos! Als die Dame zum abräumen kam habe ich diese Dinge angesprochen und mir kam es so vor als wäre es ihr komplett egal. Da sind mir 40€ viel zu schade !! Alleine das ganze Gericht hätte wer zubereiten können der noch nie hinterm Herd stand. Ich habe in der Küche eines 5 Sterne Hotels gelernt und kann dies sehr gut beurteilen. Ich bin wirklich enttäuscht von der Gesamtsituation.

Leider nicht das erste Mal eine enttäuschende Erfahrung im Mauritius – mittlerweile ist es bei jedem Besuch ähnlich. Dieses Mal waren wir zu viert dort und insgesamt ca. 2,5 Stunden im Restaurant. Die Getränke und das Essen kamen chaotisch und mit langen Wartezeiten. Teilweise lagen ca. 30 Minuten zwischen den Gerichten, sodass gemeinsames Essen gar nicht möglich war – während eine Person fertig war, bekam die nächste erst ihr Essen. Besonders ärgerlich: Eine Person aus unserer Gruppe bekam trotz mehrfacher Nachfrage bei verschiedenen Mitarbeitern weder das Getränk noch das Essen. Am Ende wollten wir das Essen stornieren, da nach 2,5 Stunden immer noch nichts kam. Statt Verständnis gab es eine unfreundliche Reaktion („Sagt mir nicht, was ich zu tun habe“). Beim Wunsch nach getrennter Zahlung wurden die Augen verdreht, und der Beleg wurde am Ende kommentarlos auf den Tisch gelegt. Keine Entschuldigung, keine freundliche Verabschiedung. Dass einmal etwas schiefläuft, kann passieren – aber wenn es bei jedem Besuch ähnliche Probleme gibt, scheint das System bzw. die Organisation leider nicht zu funktionieren. Sehr schade.

Schlechter Service, Bauchschmerzen nach Essen Aufenthaltszeitraum 16.05.26. 22:00-00:00 Uhr

Ich war hier mit einer Freundin zum Abendessen verabredet, und uns wurde anfangs freundlich ein Platz gezeigt. Mein Essen kam relativ schnell, bei ihr hat es etwas länger gedauert. Das wäre als einziges Problem auch nicht weiter erwähnenswert gewesen. Das Essen selbst hat jedoch, bis auf das Pizzabrot, überhaupt nicht geschmeckt. Die Nudeln waren verkocht, die Soße hatte keinerlei Geschmack, und der Burger meiner Freundin war so trocken, dass das Patty sogar matt war. Wir wollten uns zunächst nicht beschweren, aber auf Rückfrage des Kellners, warum der Burger quasi unangetastet war, sagte sie, dass er ihr persönlich nicht geschmeckt habe, dass aber nicht weiter schlimm wäre. Das wurde offenbar weitergegeben, denn nach ein paar Minuten kam ein weiterer Kellner, der anscheinend nicht mit Kritik umgehen konnte. Er sprach sie in einem patzigen Ton an und behauptete, der Burger sei einwandfrei und ein Verkaufsschlager. Der Tisch neben uns war ebenfalls schockiert über dieses Verhalten. Ich kann nicht nur nicht empfehlen, hier essen zu gehen, sondern rate ausdrücklich davon ab.

Ich habe einen Cheeseburger bestellt, welcher leider viel zu trocken war und mir geschmacklich nicht gefallen hat. Also habe ich die Beilage (Pommes) gegessen und mich auch nicht beschwert. Als ich den Kellner zum bezahlen gerufen habe, hat er mich gefragt, wieso ich den Burger nicht gegessen habe. Daraufhin habe ich gesagt, dass er mir leider nicht geschmeckt hat, es aber nicht weiter schlimm war, da ich trotzdem satt geworden bin. Er hat mir versichert, das weiterzugeben, obwohl ich meinte, dass es wirklich nicht nötig sei, da ich einfach bezahlen möchte. Nach ein paar Minuten kam ein anderer Kellner, welcher mich regelrecht angemault hat, dass er den Burger wohl kontrolliert habe und alles okay gewesen sei und das deren Verkaufsschlager sei. Als ich dem Kellner sagte, dass ich mich auch nicht beschweren wollte, sondern einfach bezahlen wollte, redete er sich regelrecht in Rage und hörte nicht auf den Burger weiter zu verteidigen. Ich hab sowas noch nie erlebt, kann also die anderen Bewertungen über unfreundliches Personal total gut nachvollziehen.

Das schönste und beste Restaurant in der Umgebung. Sehr leckeres Essen und nettes Personal . Komme immer wieder sehr gerne und empfehle es auch mit Herz weiter

Mauri ist der perfekte Ort für einen Kurzurlaub. Einfach mal abschalten, die Musik und die Atmosphäre genießen, und die super leckeren Cocktails und frischen Gerichte. Vor allem am Wochenende ist der Ort voller Energie und Leben. Die Zeit verfliegt und es macht einfach nur Spaß dort. Ich komme immer gerne, ob mit Freunden, meiner Familie oder mal Spontan.

Das Mauri überzeugt auf ganzer Linie durch seine gelungene Mischung aus modernem Design und Seinem leckerm Essen ( Ich Leibe den Coconut Kiss den muss man versuchen)

Ich war letzten Samstag im Mauritius. Ich muss sagen, das ambiente und die atmosphäre, ist sonst in Schwenningen vergleichbar nirgendswo so aufzufinden. Das essen ist himmlisch (ich kann jeden die Mauribowl ans herz legen) und die getränke sind auch schnell gebracht, großes respekt an das personal. Alles sehr professionell und kann jeden ein besuch empfehlen.

Im Großen und Ganzen ein tolles Ort, um mit Freunde zu treffen. Jedoch finde ich die Musik viel zu Laut. Wir konnten wegen die Lautstärke vom Musik und dadurch entstandene Lautstärke von Gästen (die selbst beim unterhalten lauter sein mussten) unser Gespräche nicht führen. Und ich finde das Essen ist ein wenig zu teuer.

das essen war okay aber das fleisch beim chickenbürger war viel zu dick (nicht kaubar) wor mussten bei der ankunft 10 Minunten warten bis wir überhaupt ein kommen. Bestellung wurde schnell aufgenommen doch bis die bestellung kam verging 1 stunde. Es war aber nur ein gericht, dann nochmal 30 min warten bis der rest kam. Daraufhin beim zahlen hat der verkäufer gesagt wir sollen mit kommen dannach wurden wir angewiesen uns wieder hin zu setzen. Es ist kein schlechtes essen aber der service ist für den preis absolut nicht gerechtfertigt. Habe schon von vielen gehört wie schlecht der service sein soll aber das es so ist hätte ich nie gedacht.

Hund oder chicken man kann es nicht beurteilen? Sehr schlechter Personal mit unangenehmen Geruch. Mussten 2 Stunden warten bis das Essen kam kommt nicht her es ist das Geld nicht wert!!!! Betrug beim Rückgeld hatten es nicht passend Wollten unverdientes trinkgeld dazu bekommen 15 Cent zu viel. Eine Person hat das Essen 30 min bevor allen anderen bekommen. Der Service ist echt abartig nach dem Essen geht’s uns auch nicht mehr gut . Und erstmal 1 Stunde warte bis das Essen überhaupt kam. Sehr schlecht!!!!!!!

Sehr lange Wartezeit, wollte nur Kaffee trinken

30 Minuten warten ohne bedient zu werden bei recht geringer Auslastung. Sind dann wieder gegangen. Nachdem das Essen das mal zuvor auch nicht überzeugt hat werden wir nun endgültig nicht mehr hingehen.

War mit zwei Freundinnen dort, um noch ein bis zwei Cocktails zu trinken. Leider wurde es dann nur ein Cocktail. Von den drei bestellten Cocktails kamen zunächst nur zwei. Erst nach der dritten Nachfrage wurde der fehlende Cocktail gebracht. Anstatt sich kurz zu entschuldigen – was völlig in Ordnung gewesen wäre, da viel los war – kam lediglich eine faule Ausrede, dass irgendeine Maschine defekt sei. Generell mussten wir lange auf den Service warten, da dieser sehr mit zwei anderen weiblichen Gästen beschäftigt war, die ihm offenbar besonders gut gefielen. Gleichzeitig war noch ein junger Service-Mitarbeiter mit Locken im Einsatz, den man ständig hin- und herlaufen sah – sowohl mit vollen als auch mit leeren Gläsern. Er hatte gefühlt die Arbeit von drei Personen zu erledigen. Die Atmosphäre dort ist gelassen und entspannt, und die Musik ist toll.

Haben einfach Tiefkühlschnitzel bekommen und bei einem Burger mit Bacon war der Bacon einfach roh aus der Packung drauf geklatscht. Früher konnte man hier recht gut essen gehen aber mittlerweile kann man das vergessen. In Zukunft kommen wir nicht mehr zum Essen her.

Mit Freunden zum Schnitzelessen verabredet wie in der Vergangenheit schon des öfteren. Nun leider war es diesmal Tiefkühlschnitzel, man hat es an der Form direkt erkannt, da wir alle komischerweise die gleiche Dicke sowie form hatten, und es hat nicht nach frischen Fleisch gemeckt. Die Panade war auch wie man halt kennt sehr dünn und des fleisch sehr dick. Als wir das Fleisch bemängelt haben, hieß es nur das es immernoch 250g sind, nur halt 2 scheiben als 1 große. Kelner meint auch wir sind dumm. Für den Preis Fertigschnitzel und paar frites 20€ schon übertrieben, davor war es echt Gerechtfertigt, aber sowas geht garnicht. Werde nichtmehr kommen.

Wenn wir trotz mehrfacher Nachfrage nach einer Stunde noch kein Essen bekommen, dann gehen wir eben wieder. Es war nicht zu viel los, aber sowas geht nicht.

Mauritius is incredible. Every time I'm there, I can switch off, enjoy the moment, and just be. The ambiance, the atmosphere, the waiters, and the other guests... I feel like I'm on a mini-vacation. The food and cocktails are impeccable and absolutely delicious! My wife loves it, and my children are always excited when we come (they always get something to draw with, too). The food is usually served quickly and tastes amazing!

The food is excellent. I can definitely recommend the Swabian schnitzel and the pizzas. The service and all the staff are so friendly. From the welcome at the entrance to being shown to your table, you're always greeted warmly. The food arrives quickly, and the drinks are also delicious. Requests are taken into consideration, and you're given a very polite send-off. I can give it five stars for the top-notch service and the delicious food... A 10 out of 10 in terms of both taste and presentation. The prices are also reasonable for the wonderful time spent at the restaurant.

I had a Margherita pizza there; it looked fantastic, but the taste was just okay. The staff is really friendly, though. I'm focusing on the atmosphere, not the food, so I'd give it 4 stars. I would definitely recommend this restaurant!

The food there was fantastic, and the cocktails were better than at that beach bar. You don't have to wait long and are greeted with a broad smile. The staff is super friendly and attractive at the same time (especially the cute blond waiter).

After the official graduation ceremony at DHBW, we went to Mauritius with the family for dinner, and they had some delicious cocktails. The young team is very friendly, and the service was excellent. They even gave us a small complimentary gift for the special occasion, which was really lovely. The evening was truly special, and Mauritius was the perfect place to end it. The food was also top-notch, as always; I especially love the salad dressing.

The food arrived lukewarm, and it took forever to be served and receive our drinks/food. The price-performance ratio is also completely off; far too expensive for what you get.

I was at Mauritius Schwenningen today – and I'm truly appalled by the disrespectful way guests are treated there. The waiter was extremely rude and impolite from the very beginning, responding to simple questions with annoyance and condescension. I was there myself and got really angry because this kind of behavior is completely unacceptable. You don't speak to guests like that – especially not if you work in the restaurant industry. It's clear to me: After today's experience, we won't be going back there. Anyone who values ​​respectful service should think carefully before visiting this restaurant.

I had dinner with you last night and brought two €15 vouchers. When I paid, the waiter informed me that both vouchers had expired three years ago. Unfortunately, I have no understanding for this and find it quite rude. Firstly, the vouchers don't show an issue date or how long they're valid for. I believe that €15 per voucher was worth exactly the same three years ago as it is today. If the voucher were for a drink or a meal, I could understand. But €15 is and always will be €15. So, in my opinion, this isn't advertising. And I'm still waiting for a reply to my email, which is why I'm contacting you this way.

I had a Green Soul Bowl with chicken. The bowl was nicely presented, but not as good as the other eight or so bowls I've had elsewhere. The chicken, which cost an extra €4, was disappointingly small—a maximum of 50 grams. The Aloha Peach Iced Tea was very good, partly because it wasn't overly sweet. The music was too loud, and the staff could barely hear me. There was a faint smell of cigarette smoke in the restaurant, coming from the smoking section.

The waiter with the glasses is so rude he should be thankful that i don’t do anything about it.

I was here last night with my girlfriend, and we ordered the two bowls, two non-alcoholic mojitos, and the pistachio tiramisu to finish. It was delicious and the staff friendly; I highly recommend it! :)

Ate a bowl and a side salad. Small portions, the bowl was basically just rice, and then there was a very long wait even though it wasn't busy.

We ate here with our class. The food was really very good, and the location is also beautiful. Unfortunately, the service significantly dampened the positive impression: The person who took our order neither greeted us nor seemed friendly, but asked us repeatedly what we had ordered. The dishes arrived at very different times, one meal was forgotten entirely, and when my colleague's delayed dish finally arrived, there wasn't even an apology. Overall, unfortunately, the service was very unprofessional – a shame, because the food and ambiance deserved a much higher rating.

We were at Mauritius in Schwenningen yesterday. It was busy, and things didn't go smoothly with the orders. Which, of course, can happen. My friend, for example, had to order her first drink three times before she finally got it. However, the staff pretty much took it out on us guests. We ordered a second cocktail, which was pretty much shoved in our faces. And the staff's tone wasn't particularly courteous either. Which is also a reason for us not to tip. The waitress then took it upon herself. This was very noticeable in her manner and demeanor, and it was clear to us that she hadn't miscalculated, but rather had the nerve. The food was good, but for the price of €17.90, there was quite a bit of salad on the plate. Since it was remodeled and everything has become a bit more uniform, it's a very nice atmosphere. However, the cleanliness of the restrooms leaves something to be desired. We always enjoyed coming here, but after yesterday's unfriendly behavior, we're considering a different location next time.

I ate here with my best friend two days ago. Everything was delicious—the burger and bowl were good, the sweet potato fries were nice and crispy, and the drinks were also very tasty. It was a nice, green, cozy atmosphere. However, I wanted to have a cozy meal with my friend, and not be hit on by the staff or listen to said staff telling my friend that she should stay home next time and I should come alone—because he wanted to spend time together. It would be nice if the male staff could be encouraged to show some professionalism.

The food was delicious, as always. Although it was full at 7:30 p.m. on a weekday, our order was forgotten, and we had to wait a long time (almost 45 minutes). The portion of spaetzle was more like a child's portion—€5.90 for two meatless pasta dishes and two cocktails. We found the cocktail, at just under €45, significantly overpriced.

The food was okay. The service was quite friendly. What put me off was the extremely bad air. It was stuffy, and you felt like you were sitting right in the kitchen. The smell of the deep fryers was unbearable. Maybe they should work on the ventilation. I had the feeling it wasn't working at all. It's a shame, really; it's a nice location.

Cocktail was good but we waited almost 45 minutes until we could pay after asking twice whether we could pay and still no one was there!!!

I waited over 20 minutes for two beers, one of the dishes was sour, and after waiting half an hour for the second beer, they simply refused. A nervous waiter came out and treated us like we were his subordinates. With 30 degrees outside in the smoking room, the air conditioning didn't work, and I sweated the whole time until I got up.

The meal for my wife (pizza Parma) and me (schnitzel) was good. Unfortunately, my son's hot stone steak was a disappointment. The rum steak was already cooked through, and the staff responded unprofessionally to our complaint. One employee claimed the meat was "bloody," and another refused a refund due to the high cost. However, as small compensation, we received dessert.

The staff is friendly and competent. The atmosphere is really good among the young crowd.

The menu says a children's portion of spaetzle with sauce for 5.50. They charged 5.40 once and an additional 3.10 for the sauce. I think it's cheeky when the menu says 5.50 euros with sauce and then they charge more. You then bring it up and the answer is, "I'll sort it out," but in the end it's still on the menu. It's outrageous. I even did the math on my phone calculator just for fun. Everything we ate and drank came to 28.50 euros. Where did the three euros more come from? You're getting ripped off.

My burger was okay, but they didn't listen properly when I ordered. I ordered three things, and two were delivered incorrectly. The service is really bad.

Well, not what you'd expect. Nobody listens when you order. You wait far too long for the food. And overall, it's not worth it. And it's not cooked properly. Drinks are okay.

I was celebrating my birthday at Mauritius with some friends, and the waiters treated me to a birthday cocktail with birthday music and all the trimmings. As you'd expect, and as you'd hear from other birthdays, the cocktail is free. A different waitress came to pay than the one who ordered. I had to pay for the cocktail with her "because the table had to generate a certain amount of sales to get the free birthday cocktail." Everyone at my table had a cocktail and food (how much sales are you supposed to generate?). I think it's a shame that it's like this. Otherwise, the food was good, and all the other waiters were friendly.

A real rip-off, really annoying, we were there yesterday on June 27th with four people and as soon as we walked in we were shown to our tables by listless staff. After we knew what we wanted to order, we waited and waited for ages, probably for 30 minutes... all the employees kept walking past and completely ignored us because they probably didn't feel like it. FYI (it was hardly busy). It's a shame for the place that they still pay such listless staff. It would have been worth 50 euros each for us because we wanted to eat properly and buy ourselves cocktails. Anyway, we drove 50km there for nothing, that was definitely the first and last time, we got up after 30 minutes and just bought pizzas from your kebab shop next door because we didn't want to wait any longer. I will never recommend you to anyone.

We were there on June 23rd and wanted something to eat. We were moved around at first, for whatever reason, as it was very quiet. The menu is well-stocked, meaning there's plenty of choice. The cocktail menu also looks good and offers variety. We studied the menu for a bit and waited for service. And waited. Oh, and waited. After several waiters walked past us and paid us no further attention, we left after about 20 minutes. What a shame.

Thank you! I left an unjustifiably small tip. But I hope I can still visit this restaurant.

Well, the quality and service always fluctuate. In my opinion, it's more show than substance. Hip, but nothing else. The food looks good, but the taste isn't unique or worth recommending. Cocktails are simply too expensive for the taste and quantity. Regardless of whether they're alcoholic or not. In the evenings, the music is often too loud to have a conversation.
