The food is special 0/8/15 and you are expected to have something to eat with your drink and leave a turnover of at least €15. This behavior is impossible. That lure was almost a lesson to people. And then Do you trust the customers who still come with a minimum income of €15? Very well done, just keep it up.

It's a nice restaurant, the food was also delicious, but unfortunately our dessert didn't arrive. We waited for more than an hour and asked about it 3 times and at some point we left because we couldn't stay any longer.

As always, everything was wonderful and nothing to complain about. I've been there several times and will go again

We were there for dinner. The waitresses are not attentive, after 15 minutes at the table we asked if we could order. My food came 10 minutes after that of my companion. In between, no one came to ask if everything was OK. When we were finished we also had to ask to pay. Unfortunately the taste was below average, I had the cheeseburger, the meat was pressed to pieces, and the only sauce used was cocktail sauce, which was also available as a dip for the fries. The bread on the burger reminded me more of a milk bun. The disco starts there at 6:45 p.m. with loud sound. Not recommended

I have only rarely been to Schwenningen in Mauritius. We visited the restaurant on a Sunday evening. We got a table quickly and were immediately served in a friendly manner. I ate the chicken burger with salad. The food came quickly. Unfortunately my burger was almost cold. The taste was good. The salad was dressed with a lot of dressing and at the end it was just mush. I actually would have given it 4 stars. But there was no soap or towels in the medical facilities. This should be guaranteed in a restaurant with so many people. That's why unfortunately only 3 stars.

Very, very great restaurant, very good food and a great selection of drinks. But a huge compliment to the employee Ben! He really served us well and was extremely polite. A worker who definitely enjoys his job and shows it! It was fast and reliable, so I'm really happy with it. I will come more often from now on and of course I hope that Ben will serve me again. Of course, thanks also go to the kitchen and the restaurant itself 👍 Definitely recommended 🫶

I've been to this restaurant several times and am impressed every time. The service is always impeccable, the staff very friendly and attentive. The stylish and cozy atmosphere makes every visit a special experience. Now I've finally gotten around to writing this well-deserved 5 star review!

We (three) were in Mauritius, which was not even half full, on a Thursday evening at 7:30 p.m. and sat down at a normal table in the middle area. After we ordered, a gentleman asked us to leave the table because it was a “VIP table” and we hadn’t ordered enough for this table. Please what?? As a reminder, the place wasn't even half full! But the “VIPs” didn’t come that evening either, stupid🤷🏽‍♂️ Never again

After 1 1/2 hours of waiting we didn't get any food with the excuse that the kitchen had lost the orders. The shift manager yelled at the waitress in front of everyone and said that it was messing up the place. Never this restaurant again.

It can't be that you have to wait almost 1.5 hours for the food because the ^kitchen^ threw the order slips in the trash. So the last time we were there, the shift manager yelled at the employees in front of everyone

Food and ambience are great. The service still needs some work.

The food is great, the sweet potatoes taste great. Cheese spaetzle could be better if they were fried well, they seemed rather undercooked. The schnitzel was really tender and good. The burgers also taste incredible, but could be a little bigger given the price. The service is always attentive, although sometimes a bit clumsy. I also think that not everyone likes to be addressed as “those there” when one colleague asks the other who gets the drinks. It's also somehow a permanent standard that promotions are forgotten, such as the burger only costing half after 10 p.m. They even ask specifically whether this offer applies and yet they forget about it an hour later when billing, not the first time that I have to remind the staff that the bill is too high and something is wrong. Apart from that, all in all, Mauri is a nice change and has some really good cuisine.

Food was okay, service was good, but what's really bad here is that you can't get the food together! You didn't get 2 meals until 15 minutes later, so you had to eat alone. Reordering [5 minutes after the first order] took almost 30 minutes. [even at 3:50 p.m. - there wasn't much going on, we couldn't eat together] I wouldn't go here with a large group [6 or more people] who want to eat together. Otherwise okay. Price-performance is okay

When I was there with a friend a few weeks ago, I really enjoyed the food. Today the same dish, the calamari box, was unfortunately not good at all. The baked calamari was rubbery and dry, the delicious wasabi dip was replaced by two dips that weren't nearly as good, and the sweet potato fries were partially sticky. It's a shame because the atmosphere is nice and the service is really friendly. The cocktails were delicious and that's why I'll only go there for cocktails. My friend also found his turkey steak too dry and rubbery.

Offer like all Mauritius restaurants. Fresh salads, pinsa, schnitzel, Creole-inspired cuisine, vegan/vegetarian plates, cross-border beds and everything is good: if you don't find anything here, it's your own fault. I also think the large selection of cocktails in Mauritius is great, especially the non-alcoholic ones. The location is central in Schwenningen on a main street, i.e. the seats on the terrace are not that comfortable, but were still well used. Lots of seats inside, palm tree design, nice benches, but everything is very open and connected to the cinema/building complex.

The taste of the food was okay... However, the gentleman who served us at the beginning was very busy and decided who could sit where based on appearance. Not to be outdone in terms of superficiality. When I asked another service person, they only laughed at it. The lady who served us the rest of the evening was very nice and attentive. For me it was definitely the last evening there. Maybe the good man should rethink his career choice, after all, you go out for a leisurely meal and a drink and not to a competition. ;-).

The ambience is great, depending on what you order, the food is great or it gets cold/hard/or something similar. served. The service is not particularly professional, in the evening you sometimes wait 40 minutes until you can finally pay. We still eat there every now and then, so overall it's not bad.

Only bad. The table was sticky! The food and drink menus were dirty and sticky! My wife ordered a tea and the label on the bag had a visible layer of dust on it. No change at 6 p.m. Just amateurish. Only bad.

My go to place...like a safe haven. Good vibes and ambience, good music,friendly staffs. Not forgetting to mention tasty foods and excellent cocktails .

Mauritius offers beautiful facilities and space. The interior design is truly incredible. The atmosphere is very pleasant, relaxing and delighted. I feel like I'm on vacation. The food tastes fantastic, kudos to the chefs. The employees are very friendly, responsive to requests or questions and professional. My only criticisms are the prices, which are quite high, and the waiting time for the food. You often have to wait quite a long time for the food to arrive. Unfortunately, the menu and dishes have been changed a lot, which I find quite a shame. Otherwise, I would always like to visit Mauritius in Schwenningen to treat myself to delicious food and for an uplifting mood.

Waitress who took our order (drinks only) and just went on break, waited half an hour and left, has happened several times and that in an empty restaurant. Mauritius is no longer what it used to be. Never again.

We were in Villingen Schwenningen for a weekend. We immediately noticed the restaurant's ambience. It was very comfortable and the staff were very friendly and loved children. The food was super tasty. It's a shame we don't live nearby. Would eat there again and again.

At the beginning we had to wait over half an hour before our order was even taken. The drinks came after 20 minutes, although the waitress didn't really know what kind of drinks they were. We ordered the mauri box, which comes with meat skewers, fries and dip and a salad. After another 45 minutes the waitress came and told us that the deep fryer had broken down and there were no more fries. So we had to choose spaetzle instead, which didn't fit at all. The salad came after a total of 90 minutes of waiting, but only the salad. The people at the table next to us were also excited that it was taking so long. After one was eaten, we finally paid and gave up the other. We actually felt a little sorry for the waitress, which is why we even gave a small tip. There's nothing she can do about it.

The restaurant was almost empty of guests. We ordered drinks. Since we didn't know what we wanted to eat, the waiter said he would come back later. Min. For half an hour there was no drink and no waiter. Went to the other restaurant. Thanks for nothing. :)

We went to this restaurant today and we were very disappointed with the value for money. We placed the drink order and we asked the waitress for a small glass of tap water which had been forgotten the first time and we had to ask for a second time to my surprise we were charged €2.5!! ! for a simple glass of still tap water. Then for my meal the arabiata pasta the sauce and cheese was good but the pasta was overcooked. We had ordered 5 plates and we only received 4. We had started to eat so as not to let it cool, thinking that the 5th plate would arrive but halfway through our plates and not seeing the missing plate arrive, we went to see the waitress, the waitress had forgotten or had not understood which is not impossible given the exaggerated volume of the music. So the fifth person had to eat alone and the meat was very thin and very dry. This restaurant is a money pump I will never go back there again.

I stumbled into this restaurant as a tourist with a colleague from Switzerland and was really surprised at how promptly and deliciously the food was served. The vegetable pinsa is amazing!

Service was ok, ambience was ok too but the music was way too loud. The food came way too late, there was about 15 minutes between the first and last meal (of 3). It didn't taste good enough and the price for a bowl wasn't justified given the content.

The food is amazing! Compared to most restaurants, you can find very exciting dishes here. It was very tasty and I strongly recommend it. However, on busy days it is a bit too loud and the waiting times are too long.

My friends and I ordered food from Mauritius today. I had the green bowl with grilled chicken. The food tasted terrible, or to be more precise, had no taste at all. The rice was soggy, the quinoa was overcooked, the supposedly grilled vegetables were put on the grill for 30 seconds if at all, ie. The carrot was completely raw and not even cleaned properly. I think offering a meal like that for €17 is a disgrace. If I hadn't picked up the food but eaten it there, I would have complained. My friends had salads that were okay. The fritas were dry, partially burnt and with little chocolate filling. The sweet potato fries that we ordered taste better even from Edeka. Because the food was packed in plastic boxes, it was already partly cold when we got home. What should be highlighted positively, however, is the service staff, who was very nice and friendly.

We always enjoy coming here. The atmosphere is great👌🏻, the food is really tasty😋 and the waitresses are very friendly.🥰 I would even give a lot more stars, but unfortunately that's not possible. Just keep it up.🤗

Great for going out to eat or having a drink. Good selection of food, the drinks and cocktails always look great and taste as good as they look. I was there for lunch and had grilled chicken (with fries and salad). Neither the fries nor the chicken tasted much good. I'm not even sure if they were salted and there was no salt on the table. But they appeared to be freshly prepared. The fries were crispy. The dip was ok. Typical taste towards cocktail sauce. The side salad was good. The service was quick and friendly. Basically: filling and quick but not necessarily satisfying

My girlfriend and I were there on a Sunday recently and we really enjoyed it. My friend's salad with the schnitzel was really great. Delicious dressing, meat fried perfectly and the breading was nice and crispy! I had the dry-aged cheeseburger with bacon and I really enjoyed it too. There was some bread with the main courses. The portions were plentiful and we were full. We like the ambience after the renovation better than before. The seating is comfortable and the cocktails were great too! The staff is very friendly. All in all it was 5* for us and we would love to come back. We absolutely cannot confirm some of the very negative reviews.

In my opinion, a very nice place to chill, talk, relax and have a drink every now and then. The atmosphere definitely gets a 9/10 within a cinema, but so beautifully decorated that you quickly forget where you actually are. The service is incredibly friendly and, above all, attentive, so I'm happy to leave a tip. However, the food is a bit meager for the price. Almost everything is in the double digits and sometimes you just can't get enough. Hey, the salad plates are bomb. Definitely worth a visit, especially in the evening. I recommend making a reservation on weekends as it gets very crowded quickly.

The menu is smaller than before and yet the dishes are worse than before. Cheese spaetzle with steak are 21€, the cheese spaetzle were ok, the portion was a bit too small. The "steak" was a bit larger but very thin and tough. There was way too much sauce, even if it's in a separate bowl, it's a waste. The turkey salad is 15€ and the portion is larger than that of the cheese spaetzle and steak. The salad was OK and the bread with cheese was good. However, the meat was very dry and not edible for me. There was a lot of noise today due to renovations. The seats are more comfortable than before.

First of all: Unfortunately it is incredibly loud, which makes conversations at the table really tiring. The drinks are already mixed, but some of them taste really delicious. Now about the food: We waited over an hour for our order. So if you think you can have something to eat here before going to the cinema or bowling, you are unfortunately wrong, or you have to be here 2 1/2 hours before your reservation for bowling or the start of the film.

We were guests on a sparsely attended afternoon. There were five of us and we took a seat within sight of the counter. We were ignored by at least 3 employees for half an hour before we left. Conclusion: wasted time.

We have been coming here regularly since Mauri opened in Schwenningen. The service is often friendly and the stress is not noticeable even when there is a lot going on. The last time we visited (Thursday evening) there was very little going on. But the service was very slow. Even after ordering, the drinks took a long time to arrive. The food was delicious, warm and worth ordering again. What has been really unpleasant for us on recent visits is that despite the distance to the glassed-in smoking area, you smell like a smoking bar after visiting Mauri. That clearly wasn't the case before!

Unfortunately not like it used to be! The food was cold and half of it wasn't even brought. I asked a few times and always said it was coming but it never came! The taste was not good at all. Worth zero for the price! Despite everything, service was friendly and the ambience is also very nice. This place is more suitable for drinking.

Exorbitant prices! Price-performance ratio not in line. The food doesn't speak for the price! Boule for almost 20 EURO, burger with fries 15 EURO and the burger doesn't taste like it was grilled. Cocktails are still top and the price is right too!

First the positive: The selection of food and drinks leaves nothing to be desired. I still thought the food was very good! The pasta dishes in particular are my favorites. Service is always quick and always friendly. However, what I really dislike every time and why I deduct a star is the smoking area. Despite the separation, there is often a strong smell of smoke. This is particularly unpleasant when eating. Even smokers have told me that they find the smell of cold smoke very unpleasant when eating. Smoking areas in restaurants are simply no longer up to date.

Employees are super nice. But unfortunately the food is no longer what it used to be. Extremely overpriced and doesn't taste good. It's a shame what has become of the Mauri... :( Unfortunately the price/performance ratio is not justified at all

In the Mauritius restaurant it occasionally happened that the food arrived at the table no longer warm and the meat was sometimes too dry. Nevertheless, the taste of the food was always good. The service was a bit overloaded and less attentive on the weekend due to high occupancy. Overall, however, Mauritius is a solid choice that one can always consider.

Ich hatte eine Green Soul Bowl, mit Hühnchen. Die Bowl war schön angerichtet, aber nicht so gut wie all die anderen ca. 8 Bowls die ich bisher anderswo hatte. Das Hühnchen, das 4€ extra gekostet hat, war enttäuschend wenig, das waren maximal 50 Gramm. Der Aloha Peach Ice Tee war sehr gut, auch, weil er nicht übertrieben süß war. Die Musik war zu laut, die Servicekräfte haben einen kaum verstanden. Im Restaurant riecht es dezent nach Zigarettenrauch, der aus dem Raucherbereich kommt. PS: Das Mauritius kauft Google Maps Bewertungen, Anfang Dezember kamen 20 nichtssagende 5 Sterne Bewertungen hintereinander von den typischen Fake Rezensenten rein. Da wollte man wohl unbedingt auf 4 Sterne kommen.

Wir mögen es hier sehr. Eine entspannte Atmosphäre und sehr nette Bedienung. Gehen auf Wünsche ein und sind sehr zuvorkommend. Auch das Essen kann man sehr Empfehlen, auch extra wünsche werden beachtet. Auch die Mitarbeiter untereinander verstehen sich gut und wirken entspannt. Es ist der einzige Laden in VS-Schwenningen, wo man einen Abend schön verbringen kann. Es gibt einen Raucherbereich und einen Nichtraucherbereich. Das Personal ist immer bemüht Platz für uns zu finden, selbst wenn wir ohne Reservierung kommen. Das Essen ist vielseitig und lecker! Wir sind sehr mit dem Service und dem Angebot zufrieden.
