Matchpoint - TC Lese Grün-Weiß in Köln

We had a Duroc cutlet and a portion of asparagus outside, overlooking the courts and the forest, along with a small light beer, a large beer, and a large non-alcoholic beer, and finished with two espressos. Our server was charming (but didn't notice that an ashtray was missing from the table), the food was good, as was the bill, which was less than €60 for the two of us. Inside: very nice decor, and the restrooms are also worth a visit. All in all, we'd love to come back and are delighted with our new neighborhood discovery. (And yes: members of the tennis club pay a little less, which I think is perfectly logical.)

Last week I was very horrified to see that there are actually double standards here. Members generally pay two euros less for a meal than non-members. We used to always like to go to this restaurant and especially in winter you were warmly welcomed, as there are hardly any members who eat anything there in winter anyway... Shame on you for this price policy. We won't come anymore!!

The tennis club's club restaurant is also open to non-members (except sometimes on match days at the weekend) and offers a delicious menu in a newly renovated, beautiful atmosphere with fast, friendly service. We come here often, after tennis, or just like that.
