Martinez Kubanisches Restaurant in Dresden

Yesterday, six of us went to Martinez. The staff were very friendly and attentive to all our needs. The atmosphere is just like in Cuba itself: convivial, friendly, and relaxed. The food and drinks are really delicious, especially the platters with typical Cuban specialties like chicharrón or congri. Lovely Cuban live music created the perfect ambiance.

A very nice pub with good food. The service is very friendly, though sometimes they have trouble understanding you. We were there with colleagues and everyone was happy with their meal. All the food arrived at the same time and tasted great. That's how it should be. There was also live music, which contributed greatly to a pleasant evening. Sometimes the music was perhaps a little too loud, but never bothersome. The prices were perfectly reasonable. I highly recommend this place!

An iconic restaurant in the Hecht district. Great atmosphere and very good prices. The only thing they should take off the menu is the beef steak. It's really not good.

Everything is just right here. The food was excellent, the service impeccable, and even the owner, Louis, took the time to chat with us. What was supposed to be a simple "go out" to eat turned into a wonderful four-hour evening filled with interesting conversations. We'll be back!

I was there once and ate soup and drank beer. Then I asked for a receipt for all the payments, and the Venezuelan waitress became very rude and aggressive! I would never allow myself to do something like that in Venezuela!

A few friends recommended this place to us! We went there on Sunday, June 8th, at 7:00 PM, and the owner treated us extremely rudely when we asked for a bottle of rum! He told us we had to wait at the table! It's sad to spend your money in a place like that! We decided to leave!

The food was ok, the portions were large. Chicken, cassava and dumplings come out of the deep fryer. Otherwise very nice service and a nice restaurant.

Small restaurant in the Neustadt with a relaxed and authentic atmosphere. The portions are large and the price is fair. We had a different dish than we ordered, so a point was deducted from the service, but otherwise everything was good.

I was there on a Monday evening around 7 p.m. It wasn't busy and I didn't need a reservation. The lady behind the bar was very friendly and my food came promptly. The food tasted excellent and can only be recommended. I can only recommend this restaurant! Gladly again.

We got to know it through the Schlemmerblock and have now been there a second time. It's always great, the food is delicious (the soups are also highly recommended!), the prices are reasonable and the service is super friendly! It won't be our last visit ;)

Das Martinez ist ein wirklich tolles kubanisches Restaurant. Super Küche, faire Preise und Zigarren gibt es auch. Klare Empfehlung! Herr Martinez, immer wieder gerne.

We noticed Martinez on the way through the Hechtviertel. So we spontaneously had dinner there, luckily there was a free table. Very cozy in a Cuban atmosphere, which is represented by many pictures on the wall and empty rum boxes. Friendly service and a large selection of food and rum. The food was delicious. Personally, I really like the Martinez with its wild yet lovingly colorful interior. The food is almost too cheap, but the taste is good and the atmosphere is relaxed. Nevertheless, a good tip is to take a little more time and stay relaxed. The drinks can take quite a long time and on every visit in the last few years (and except when accompanied by Spaniards) I have only ever received the bill when I asked for it at the counter ^^'. However, the service remains very friendly.

Food was nothing special. We had promised ourselves more. Something completely different than a goulash with a lot of black rice and some salad. We won't be coming back.

We found this restaurant by chance during our vacation and left more than satisfied. The selection and quality of the food is excellent. I have never seen such a large selection of good rum. The boss is very friendly and took our wishes into account as much as possible. We say thank you for some lovely evenings.

Had dinner here and tried out the half Cuban platter. It comes with a multitude of items, including rice, cassava, plantain and beef. Great meal! The atmosphere inside is very cozy (and Cuban too!) and the staff were very warm and friendly.

For me it is an excellent place to find a wide variety of Latin American dishes. Cozy, the music is nice and the service is very good and quick. The prices of the dishes were great and the friendliness of the owner and the girl were very nice. I would definitely recommend it if you want to eat Latin food!

I was looking forward to really good food. I chose the Cuban vegetarian plate. Plantains were fried and were firm and tasteless. The rice with beans was extremely dry. No sauce. There was a mini portion of dip. The sweet potato fries were the best of all. Unfortunately not typically Cuban for me. A pity! The food isn't exactly cheap either. Maybe I should have taken the plate of meat. I felt like the meat with sauce was just left out.

Mein erster Besuch in einem kubanischen Restaurant und es war super! Wir wollten mal etwas anders ausprobieren und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Bedienung war sehr nett und hat uns auch Fragen gerne beantwortet. Das Essen war sehr lecker und preislich absolut im Rahmen. Unser Hund durfte auch mit rein, das war noch die Kirsche auf der Sahne. Komme gerne wieder!

Spettacolare!In trasferta a Dresda per qualche giorno mi sono infilato in questo angolo di Cuba vicino al mio Hotel!A Milano non ho mai mangiato una empanada così buona e una costina di maiale che si scioglieva in bocca!Il locale è bello accogliente,caldo, il rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo e ho chiuso con un buonissimo cocktail Martinez fresco e buonissimo!!Davvero complimenti e avanti così!!!

Eine Stunde auf unsere Getränke gewartet. Der Fisch war unglaublich trocken und geschmacklos. Kellnerin völlig überfordert, da sie allein war bei vollem Haus. Leider eine sehr schlechte Erfahrung & Zeitverschwendung.

Das Essen und die Cocktails waren gut aber der Rest lässt zu wünschen übrig. Tische und Karten kleben. Der Service und die ganze Abrechnung waren ehrlich gesagt mies.

Wir saßen in einer lauen Herbstnacht draußen. Es ist spannend zu beobachten wer so alles vorbei kommt. Die Altbauhäuser ringsum geben ein schönes Ambiente. Über dem Restaurant fand 2022 eine Tragödie statt, die uns auch den Abend kurz thematisierte. Nette und schnelle Bedienung, leckeres Essen, gute Auswahl.

La comida es muy rica y el servicio es bueno. Solo que el plato que pedí traía unos patacones o tostones que eran demasiado pequeños. Nos tocó esperar un tiempo un poco largo para poder recibir nuestra comida.
