The food, atmosphere, and service were fantastic! We received wonderful advice regarding both the food and drinks. All in all, it was a very lovely evening. We'll definitely be back! We each had two drinks, and my companion also had a rum. For food, we shared some tapas, all of which were delicious. :)

The Cuban restaurant offers truly delicious dishes – some were excellent, others good, but overall a pleasant dining experience. The service was friendly and attentive, however, there were occasional language barriers, which led to some misunderstandings. As a result, we didn't feel quite as welcome as we had hoped. Nevertheless, it's an interesting restaurant with authentic cuisine that has the potential to offer an even warmer welcome.

Fantastic! The tapas and cocktails were absolutely delicious and incredibly generous. A very warm and relaxed atmosphere. A bit like dropping by your cool Cuban aunt or sister's house for a meal.

First of all, I want to say that this restaurant is top-notch when it comes to Cuban food! I say this because I'm Cuban too!! Everything was wonderful, and the service was incredible. Claudia (the owner) welcomed us like family and gave us the best possible service. I had the pleasure of choosing this place for the first time while visiting the city for my daughter's birthday. The congris (rice and beans) is incomparable. The flavor, aroma, and style are like being back in Cuba! So delicious. The croquettes (my favorite) were amazing! I'm not kidding, I ordered them three times because they were so good! The plantains were absolutely delicious, and the ropa vieja was just divine 🤤 The yuca al mojo was to die for, and once again, it had that incredible, authentic Cuban flavor 🇨🇺. I can't forget the chicharritas and the drinks: a mojito and a Cuba Libre 😍 I'm giving it 5 stars because it truly reminded me of when I lived in Cuba, with the flavors of the food, the restaurant's style with the music, the service, and the unique images of the country! Enough said, you have to go in person and experience it for yourself!!! Cheers and enjoy your meal!! Thank you so much again to Claudia for such incredible service and food. From today on, this will be my go-to place, and I'll be there again with my mom next year when I return to the city :)

We went to La Cubana for my 8-year-old daughter's birthday and it was wonderful. We were almost the only guests, videos of Cuba were playing on the screen, and there were also great pictures on the wall. The food was excellent, Claudia chatted with us and was very welcoming. The food was delicious; we had frijoles, plantains, and tostadas, among other things. The cocktails, in particular, were really tasty and freshly made with high-quality ingredients. We immediately felt transported back to our 2017 Cuba vacation. I wholeheartedly recommend La Cubana!

Very authentic, absolutely delicious. As a starter we had the Cuban chicken soup which tasted perfect. For the main course a selection of tapas, be careful you'll get enough of them even if you're two 😀. Another main menu with minced meat, rice and plantain rounded off the evening. The cocktail was also fantastic. If we're in the area again, we'll stop by 👋

Really a really nice restaurant. The atmosphere is also very nice - you almost feel at home. The food is also really good, but you are often asked if you would like anything else, which I personally found a bit annoying - but maybe that's just the Cuban warmth.

La Cubana with its owner Claudia is not a place like any other. At first it seems a bit simple due to the slightly rustic furnishings. But there are more important things that count here: super tasty, sometimes very unusual, home-made tapas, as well as traditional dishes and Spanish/Cuban beers, wines and liqueurs. But most of all, the friendly and warm nature of Claudia and the staff. always trying very hard to accommodate all of our wishes. even if this is to order "in Spanish". My recommendation and still an insider tip in Dresden for a chat with friends or larger gatherings with family and colleagues.

We ordered 7 meals, two came, the others were forgotten and the waiter said we ordered wrong. But how can someone order wrong? They just forgot our meal and instead of apologizing in they were blaming us. They cant speak one word englisch. Unbelievable bad. Food also bad.

Super delicious food, with super friendly staff who also take the time to recommend you. We tried all the tapas and will definitely come back because we haven't finished yet🤤 the cocktails are really good and the price is great, it could be 2-3 when it comes to the selection. In the middle of the new town, but quiet thanks to the beer garden and pure holiday atmosphere. Black bean rice is a must try.

Here you will find original food cooked with lots of love and without convenience products, which is prepared personally by the owner. Beautiful restaurant, felt like I was on vacation. We had various tapas and the portions were very generous. Taste is a 10/10! Staff super friendly! Conclusion would recommend everyone to eat here! Unfortunately we are not from the area otherwise we would come here more often.

Had an excellent meal here. Big portion. We were recommended the number 40, which we also ordered. Plus the delicious homemade sangria and bread with ajoli as a starter. 10/10 points. We would recommend it to anyone who is in Dresden.

Delicious food for a good price and super nice staff

There were four of us here and we can't recommend it. Because we had to wait over an hour and a half for our food and then we didn't even get our starter, the waiter was nice enough to deduct that from the total.

Great Cuban food with friendly, gracious staff! Saw this place while walking around and decided to stop in. Definitely not a disappointment. The sangria's made to order and delicious. Bread was warm, with a flaky, crisp crust and soft, chewy center. Entree was amazing; well seasoned and full of flavor without being too salty. Even the rice was perfect. Had a Cuban espresso with rum for dessert and it was also great. Overall, this place is a slice of Cuba in Berlin and well worth visiting!

I wasn’t looking to eat Cuban, but I’m happy that I did. Authentic cuisine served by very friendly staff. I ate in the garden area as it was a pleasant evening. Lovely ambience. Soft Latin music playing. I’d recommend the empanada. They are huge and full of flavour. The Tapas I chose was faultless. All in all a great experience.

Unser 2 Besuch Dort diesmal mit unserer Tochter lohnt sich immer wieder . Alle sind sehr Herzlich und Gastfreundlich. Mann wird hier bei der Bestellung beraten. Es wird immer wieder gefragt ob alles in Ordnung ist. Und das Essen ist Spitze.

Wir wollten nur einen Cocktail trinken, aber auf das Chaos waren wir nicht vorbereitet....erst wurde hinter der Bar eifrig diskutiert, wie mein Drink geht, dann erschien die Chefin und teilte uns mit, es gäbe leider nur Margherita und Mojito, okay dann also Mojito...im Viertelstundentakt erschien jemand und ließ sich die Bestellung wiederholen und irgendwann kam wirklich der Cocktail ( der lecker war) - wir wollten dann leider noch einen zweiten von der Sorte....das war keine gute Idee, denn eine knappe Stunde später warteten wir noch immer....zwischendurch erschienen allerdings wieder diverse Servicemitarbeiter und ließen uns die Bestellung wiederholen, am Ende des Abends war ich halb erfroren und echt sauer...beim Bezahlen haben wir dann auch noch gemerkt, dass die Preise in der Karte nicht mehr stimmen, man hatte sie deutlich erhöht..... .

Wir waren zu sechst am Sonntag Abend (mit telefonischer Reservierung) hier essen. Es waren 2 Tische besetzt. Mussten 20 min warten, bis wir bestellen konnten. Die Getränke kamen erst nach weiteren 20 min. Nach 2 Stunden Wartezeit kam endlich das Essen. Bei dreien von uns war das Fleisch "tot gegart" (trocken und hart). Ansonsten okay. Selbst das Bezahlen verlief nicht reibungslos und hat nochmals 10 min gedauert. Service null Punkte. Wir kommen nie wieder!!!!!

Das Essen und die Cocktails waren sehr lecker. Das Team war auch super herzlich und nett. Aber die Wartezeiten sind leider enorm lang. Das liegt denke ich daran das zu wenig Personal da ist. Sowohl für Getränke wie für das Essen. Die Preise sind angemessen und die Portionen reichlich. Wenn man Zeit mitbringt ist es allerdings ganz toll.

Uns wurde das La Cubana von einem Bekannten wärmstens empfohlen und was soll ich sagen, dieser Bekannte lag definitiv richtig. Hier gibt es fantastisches Essen zu fairen Preisen (ich hatte 'Ropa Vieja') und eine tolle Köchin, die sich mal persönlich nachfragt ob es geschmeckt hat. Beim nächsten mal in Dresden komme ich wieder!

Zu unserem Besuch waren 4 Tische im gesamten Restaurant belegt. Ihr warteten 20 Minuten bis wir Getränke und Essen bestellen konnten. Nach weiteren 30 Minuten erhielten wir unsere Getränke. Nach über zwei Stunden Wartezeit haben wir das Restaurant hungrig verlassen. Selbst das bezahlen unserer drei Getränke dauerte mehr als 10 Minuten. Absolut nicht zu empfehlen.

Garnelen Tapas bestellt. 1 Stunde Wartezeit. Tapas ohne Sauce und noch gefroren drin.

Üppige Portionen, schöner Biergarten und tolle Atmosphäre. Das Personal ist herzlich und das Essen sehr gut!

Unlauterer Wettbewerb. Draußen stehen Preise die es drinnen gar nicht gibt. Sehr unfreundlicher Kellner. Wir haben kein Essen bekommen, weil wir uns über die verschiedenen Preise beschwert haben. So blöd ist mir noch nie ein Kellner gekommen. Nie wieder in dieses Restaurant.

Essen war sehr gut. Service war auch sehr freundlich, wir mussten aber leider recht lang warten bis wir zahlen könnte, weil nur zwei Personen km Service waren. Ich würde trotzdem sicherlich nochmal vorbeikommen

Der Service an sich war sehr schlecht. Es hat länger als 40 Minuten gedauert, bis wir die Bestellung machen konnten. Dazu kam das Essen auch nach 40 Minuten mit dem Vorspeise was es eigentlich keinen Sinn machte. Das Essen war seeeehr salzig.

Desde el comienzo todo empezó mal 😕 1. Se tardaron más de 20 min en atendernos a pesar que teníamos reserva y sabían que éramos un grupo 2. A pesar que ya el chico nos había tomado el servicio llegó una señora (que no sé si sea la dueña) y nos dice de una manera algo grosera que debíamos volver a hacer el pedido por que otras mesas se habían quejado de haber tomado mal las órdenes y nos hizo volver a hacer el pedido 3. Las entradas llegaron casi que al tiempo con la cena y había pasado más de una hora, además no llegaron completas LLEGAMOS AL LUGAR A LAS 8:30 PM Y SALIMOS A LAS 11:15 PM. 4. Para pagar se le pide el favor a la misma persona que si podía llevarnos la cuenta a la mesa y de manera grosera dice que no que debíamos ir a la barra Se le dice que por favor sea más educada y lo toma de una mala manera Al final todos los que estábamos ahí de manera personal le manifiesta la inconformidad con el servicio y no aceptan sus falencias y tiene es descaro de echarle la culpa al mesero que fue la única persona amable que nos atendió diciendo que era culpa de él por ser nuevo 😡😡 La comida en general estuvo bien, pero esperar un plato más de una hora y que te traten mal no lo tolero, ojalá se tomen en tiempo de leer esto y mejoren ya que tiene potencial

Wie haben online essen bestellt und wir wohnen nur 5 min mit dem Fahrrad vom Laden entfernt trotzdem hat das Essen 1,5 h Gebrauch dazu waren die Pommes kalt und labbrig und das Hühnchen war auch nicht besonders und auch schon fasst ausgekühlt also im ganzen 1/10 kann ich nicht empfehlen war auch schon mal nach einer Party dort empanadas esse die Waren wenigstens heiß aber haben auch nicht geschmeckt viel zu überwürzt

Horrible food service, I ordered one empanada and they brought me another one.that was not the worse part but that one one of the female workers was so agressive about it, like if it wasn’t fault instead of saying sorry she started to attack me in the most horrible way possible.

Sehr leckeres Essen! Insbesondere der Spinat Käse Empanada! Die Bedienung ist auch sehr nett, nur leider sehr langsam und wirkt etwas überfordert.

Das Essen im La Cubana war sehr lecker. Wir hatten verschiedene Tapas gehabt und als Vorspeise Käse und Oliven. Die Tapas waren hervorragend, vorallem die Hackbällchen in Tomatensoße. Sehr gut gewürzt und sehr uzu empfehlen. Auch die Chorizio und die Kroketten waren klasse. Leider mussten wir ziemlich lange auf unsere Getränke und Speisen warten. Selbst die Vorspeise (Käse Oliven Teller) hatten wir erst nach gut einer Stunde auf dem Tisch. Das Restaurant ist gemütlich eingerichtet und hat ein schönes Flair. Die Bedienung war sehr nett. Wenn die lange Wartezeit nicht wäre, hätte ich 5 Sterne gegeben.

Umfangreiche Karte, Preise i.O., am Alaunpark gelegen. Sehr nette Mitarbeiter.

Dank den Google Guides auf dieses von außen unscheinbare Restaurant gestoßen. Definitiv mal was anderes aber sehr gehaltvoll und lecker. Ambiente ist sehr schlicht aber mit Kubanischem Flair.

No fue la mejor opción..a penas me podían contestar las preguntas porque tenían una extra reservación de solo 30 personas .la respuesta de la camarera fue que volviera otro día que no hubiesen tantas reservas ..*y que lo sentía por mi* .al final la comida no fue como la esperaba ..

Leckere Empanadas und Cocktails

Wir waren in der Woche Abendessen. Das Ambiente ist sehr ansprechend und die Essensauswahl mal etwas anderes. Die gebackenen Teigtaschen, von denen ich zwei Stück bestellte, waren für meinen Geschmack zu ölig. Das Reisgericht meiner Frau war besser, nur der Reis etwas zu salzig. Die Bedienung war leider deutlich zu langsam. Hier hat eine(!) Person den vollen Gästeraum bedient, Getränke ausgeschenkt und gleichzeitig Cocktails gemixt. Dadurch hat das Bezahlen über 30min gedauert, obwohl wir mehrfach darauf hinwiesen.
