Einfach ein schöner Abend mit gutem Essen und tollem Service!

Leider hat das Restaurant sehr nachgelassen, Preis Leistung stimmt hier nicht mehr überein. Schnitzel Uncross. Salat, César, nur billigster Salat, ein paar Würfel Fleisch, keine Tomate, keine Brotwürfel, kein Käse, für 19,00€. Essen kommt eher Fastfood Restaurant gleich. Schade, Ambiente ist schön und Personal nett, aber Essen sehr sehr schlecht geworden, kommen schon seit einigen Jahren, um dies zu beurteilen, zu können…

Bayerische Küche in angenehmem Wirtshausambiente, die Karte ist nicht riesig, aber das erleichtert zum einen die Wahl, zum anderen führt der Fokus auf ausgewählte Speisen zu einer sehr guten Qualität.

Super Ambiente und sehr gutes Essen mit einem tollen Personal. Kann man nur weiter empfehlen.

Wieder einmal ein schöner Abend mit köstlichem bayerischen Spezialitäten. Ob Schweinebraten mit butterzarten handgemachten Kartoffelknödeln oder knusprige Ente mit Blaukraut oder langzeitgeschmortem Böfflamot. Auch die Breznsuppe oder die herbstlich Kürbiskernsuppe..... einfach unglaublich Köstlichkeiten, die so typisch für die gute bayerische Küche sind. Danke auch an das untypisch, immer freundliche Team. Die kumpelhafte Freundlichkeit kommt gut an, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Macht weiter so, haltet Eure Qualität, dann sind die Preise auch gerechtfertigt. Bis bald im Martabräu FFB....

Always happy to go to Marthabräu. It's not cheap (roast pork €17.90) but it's consistently good. Traditional Bavarian restaurant interpreted in a contemporary way. Soups come in vintage pots. The potato dumplings are heavenly! Also the Böfflamott for a generous €27.99 with divine red cabbage. However, the map used to be more extensive, or so I think. Always friendly service

It was just ok a year ago, but this time it was disappointing. The meat was good (roast pork, schnitzel) to ok (Böflamott, duck but too dry). But the side dishes simply tasted bad: undefined, far too soggy butter dumplings and overcooked red cabbage. The dumpling duo bland. The Kaiserschmarrn has made up for something. In terms of prices, value for money is only 2 stars. It's a real shame, it used to be really good...

I'm disappointed, small portions, not exactly a hit in terms of taste, you can save yourself the next visit. The schnitzel is super thin, the beer ham at my butcher is sliced ​​thicker.

The service is very quick, but also very decisive, sometimes in my opinion a bit too much of a “cracker”! The food is ok, but there is still room for improvement, especially given the price level. The Kaiserschmarrn is highly recommended, I have never eaten such a good one.

You won't believe it - not a single dish is without gluten/flour (label “A”)! Just a simple salad will do! The requirement to label allergens could - if one were to think with the guest in mind - lead to thinking about reducing the use of allergens. Could - would also be very easy. For example, sauces with Mondamin bind (corn flour, gluten-free). Think about what absolutely needs to be floured. It would be so easy - and the guest could relax and find something to eat like everyone else. I just can't believe that people only do justice to the labeling requirements - without rhyme or reason. The main thing is to be legally protected. The role and mission as a host, where the guest can feel comfortable - especially if they have allergies - is not understood here. Very unfortunate.

Telephone reservation and reception very unfriendly! We didn't feel welcome, we were more tolerated as guests and that detracts from the overall experience enormously! Our waiter was nice but, as I said, the reception and telephone conversation were very unpleasant. We don't want to eat here again.

The food and service are very good, Bavarian cuisine. And you are served quickly and the food is on the table quickly. However, if the website says it's open until 10 p.m., I expect to be able to get something to eat by then. Then you should be fair enough and write that the kitchen closes at 8:30 p.m. This is really disappointing!

Great vegan and vegetarian food!😍 We stopped by this restaurant specifically because it is one of the only ones that offers vegan and vegetarian dishes (and plant-based milk coffee, etc.). Unfortunately a real rarity in traditional Bavaria, we were all the happier when we found it in Marthabräu. It tasted delicious, service was friendly and it went quickly until we were served and taken care of. You're doing great, keep it up!💚

After I had made a reservation a week in advance, instead of a greeting, we were immediately told that we had to vacate the table after 2 hours, in keeping with the best Oktoberfest style. There was no time for coffee and dessert for me and my guests, so we had to look for another restaurant. My husband and I have been guests here many times and have always been very satisfied with the service and food. Unfortunately we cannot say the same about today's stay. It should be noted that the prices, as well as the arrogance of an individual waiter, are now disproportionately high. Marthabräu is no longer an option for us. Very unfortunate.

If it wasn't so far away, I would come more often. König Ludwig Weissbier is brewed next door.

The sign of the inn of the same name is invitingly displayed on the corner of Augsburger Straße and Marthabräustraße. When the weather is nice, you can sit here on a terrace facing the street, enjoy the sun or the view of the beer garden or watch the traffic on the street. It's also not so loud that you can't have a good conversation. ...inside, I can't say anything about that, maybe when the path leads here again in autumn or winter. Only two people, so I can only report on two dishes: one, classic cheese spaetzle, served in an enamel pot with salad. Whoever ordered this didn't do anything wrong. Really good, hearty and filling! - I will take it again. The other is a vegan currywurst with fries. You have to give it to yourself!!! Every critic of meat-free alternatives to the original, no matter how skeptical, should silence this rant when they consume it. The taste is so authentic that you almost want to believe it's a fake. But this allegation was harshly rejected by the innkeeper. You know how to prepare this everyday dish in vegan form, a big compliment!

The cheese spaetzle were quite good so far. Since they are served in a tall vessel, less cheese ends up at the bottom. Service was great and it's especially nice when things are provided for children to color in. The "playground" isn't actually a real playground, it's a bit poor. We attach great importance to quality and, at best, regionality - and yet it is almost incomprehensible how one can charge €16.90 for cheese spaetzle. In terms of production, that's just too much, even with fresh homemade spaetzle and good cheese. Even if they were really really good, which they weren't (they were okay), the price is just way too high. When you talk about it with your friends, there is without exception no understanding of the price of this dish. People from the next table also left because the currywurst and fries were too expensive. (13.50€) When it comes to meat, I think it's okay, if it's good meat, it has its price. But for a vegetarian dish, especially cheese spaetzle, this price is absolutely not justified, not even with a salad on the side.

We happened to get stranded here on the way home from Lake Starnberg :) the reception might have been a bit rough for some sensitive people, but it didn't bother me as a Franconian 😅 My recommendation: Böfflamott!! Man, that was good! The meat melted like butter, the dumplings were also very good (even with Bröggerli inside and butter crumbs on top - like at home with grandma 🥰) big praise also to the very nice gentlemen in the service (Sunday evening, September 9th). Very nice and cozy furnishings with lots of wood etc. The toilets were also well maintained and spotlessly clean. When we're back in the area we'll definitely come here for dinner.

Went there for lunch during the week as a couple. Food was great - high praise. At the end the waiter asked if he could invite us for a schnapps (!), which we said yes. This schnapps then appears on the bill at 5 EUR each. When asked, all I got was a shrug of the shoulders and confirmation that that was the case. Exactly my sense of humor. It's a shame that the otherwise overall positive impression is completely ruined.

The food was very tasty, the service was friendly and helpful - what surprised us was that there were only a few people there at 8 p.m. and the kitchen closed shortly afterwards. Our order was the last food order, and they don't close until around 10 p.m. Personally, I would have liked a sausage salad or a snack board, but unfortunately the restaurant doesn't have that... it's a shame. Nevertheless, a recommendation from us 👍

The rustic ambience has been preserved and yet modernized. The service is "nice Bavarian", the food is good, the portions are "almost a good size", but the prices are in the upper segment. The 50c surcharge for exchanging an insert probably doesn't correspond to the service idea, but rather to earning additional money. 💰 It's a shame that the "butter potato dumplings" when roasting pork are the result of convenience production... The coleslaw could do with a little more vinegar and oil and a little less sugar... All in all, the MARTHABRÄU is recommended, with small drawbacks...

As a Baden-Würtemberg native, this inn was special for me from start to finish. Great food, nice waiter, pleasant atmosphere. Prices are perfectly fine. Warning: Some portions look small, but they weren't. I was more than full (2 meter man). I had braised beef in dark beer sauce with dumplings and red cabbage. It was a dream. There is also a large selection of regional beers from the König Ludwig brewery. I can only recommend it to everyone.

Our mother was 96 years old and we had a very good meal there with 6 people. The menu is not overly crowded, but there is something for everyone and of good quality (Krautwickerl, Ochsenbackerl, of course roast pork, Kässpatzen, schnitzel...). Service very friendly and attentive.

Me and four friends wanted to go to the Martha Volksfest After Party after the folk festival, but unfortunately they didn't let us in because we didn't have any traditional costumes. Ok, I can understand if it should be the same for everyone...

While the inn always impressed me, the self-service beer garden simply disappointed me. On a long-announced warm weekend, there was no more bread and I found the set in the picture too expensive at 20 EUR.

Modern restaurant that is based on the tradition of the former brewery. Menu with typical Bavarian dishes. Large selection of all kinds of drinks. The interior design gives the impression of an early 20th century inn. The wooden paneling in particular radiates comfort. Service staff friendly, committed and quick. In summer, the shady, self-service beer garden beckons.

Really good food. Apart from the high quality of the meat dishes (roast pork, tender with a crispy crust and great dumplings as well as Easter lamb with wild garlic spaetzle), the vegetarian dish was, according to my wife, a real delight (explosion of cauliflower and cherries). Completely successful.

Were there for lunch as a couple. The food was *outstandingly* delicious (wild plants and schnitzel) and after making a reservation by telephone in advance with a note indicating that there were two dogs, we were assigned a table in the corner, which made it possible for us to bring two dogs (1 x Bernese Mountain Dog and 1 x medium-sized mixed breed) with us without disturbing or impairing other guests. The dogs were even brought water and the overall service was excellent. Minimal downside, but it doesn't detract from the 5-star rating: The rosemary in the pear-rosemary spritz was not noticeable. But since it was otherwise an excellent experience: I would be happy to do it again and thank you for the easy acceptance of the dogs and the opportunity for relaxed restaurant training!
