Yesterday we had dinner at the Marktklause. A good home cooking. Since I have a lot of intolerances, we always look at the menus for the time being. Since one thing was unclear to us, we asked the waitress on site and had little hope. But the cook noticed all of this and made suggestions so that I could eat there. It was so kind and caring that she made me something that I tolerated. I didn't want to cause any trouble at all, but she said that it wasn't any trouble and that she would do what they had anyway! I have never experienced something so lovely because I always feel bad and am afraid of causing trouble. It was nice to realize that you simply “aren’t the problem”. Thanks for that!!

We received a very friendly welcome. The service was really great. The lady who served us was absolutely great. On the one hand we had the schnitzel with fried egg and fried potatoes and some salad and on the other hand, Schnitzel with seasoned meat and gratinated with cheese including fried potatoes and some salad. The food was delicious and more than enough. We're here for another week. We'll definitely come back again. Highly recommended.

Went there for a spontaneous meal after a hike. Schnitzel, omelet, ice cream. Service attentive and friendly, we sat comfortably outside. The food was great, nothing exotic, but fresh, with good taste and in good portions. It was just right for the moment. I particularly found the fried potatoes with the schnitzel very tasty.

We were there for the first time on Friday. After a great day in the Harz, we were hungry. And we found that, So great service, any special requests were responded to immediately. It was so great there. Gladly again and again.

Very good plain food and plenty on the plate, friendly staff and attentive.

We chose this because we could sit outside with a view of the beautiful market square. Nice service also came very quickly. We decided on ice cream and apple strudel. Both came very quickly. The ice cream sundae was huge and worth the price, the apple strudel was a bit expensive for the small piece, but very tasty. We would definitely come back again.

Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und aufgeschlossen. Das Essen war frisch gemacht und ordentlich angerichtet. Geschmacklich auch sehr gut.

April 29, 2024 Had dinner there (schnitzel) and it was really great. Plate was really full. Thick, large schnitzel (not deep fryer schnitzel) simply great. Service nice, friendly and helpful. We can only recommend it!

We were guests at the Marktklause this evening. Without pre-ordering, we immediately got the last available table, which isn't always that easy these days. The restaurant was well attended. We were politely informed of possible longer waiting times. The drinks and food were ordered quickly and the food arrived after a short wait. Der Service war wirklich sehr zügig, die Kellnerin nett und freundlich.

Das Essen war super lecker, allerdings etwas unausgeglichen was den Gemüse zu Fleisch Anteil getrifft.

Kaffee schön heiß, Apfelstrudel selbst gemacht ? Super lecker. Wir saßen im hinteren Gastraum der leider etwas kalt war.

Alles prima, gut und gutes Preisleistungsverhältnis

Wir haben gestern dort Rast gemacht und ein schönes Schnitzel verzehrt 😊 einmal lecker mit Spiegelei und Bratkartoffeln und das andere mit Champignons und Kroketten../ sehr lecker, frisch zubereitet, nette Kellnerin, Top Service 👍👍👍

Gestern gegen 18.30 zum Essen. Freundliche Bedienung durch die Wirtin. Unser Essen, trotz vollem Restaurant, relativ schnell serviert bekommen. Schnitzel, Steak und für den Junior Currywurst. Grundsolide Hausmannskost, alles frisch zubereitet. Preise gehen völlig in Ordnung. Weiter so ....

Sehr gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet. Tolle Gerichte, sehr lecker und frisch zubereitet. Nette Mitarbeiterin. Preise sind OK. Immer wieder gerne 👍👍👍

Für das Essen ziehe ich einen Punkt ab. Laut Karte wurden zum Schnitzel Champions angeboten, die ich auch bestellt habe. Es gab jedoch Waldpilze. Viele mögen diese Pilze sehr gern, ich jedoch nicht. Wenn man mich vorher darauf hingewiesen hätte, hätte ich sie nicht bestellt. Ansonsten war das Essen schmackhaft und auch vollkommen ausreichend.

Sehr lecker dort :) Wir waren seit langer Zeit mal wieder dort essen aufgrund eines Geburtstags und ich muss sagen das Essen war sehr lecker und frisch zubereitet. Nettes Personal und sehr guter Service :) 👍 danke dafür!

Sehr nette Bedienung, die alles daran setzte alle Gäste unter zu bringen. Das Preise Leistungsverhältnis hat auch gestimmt.

Sehr schönes, bürgerliches Restaurant mit sehr leckerem Essen. Preis-Leistung top. Essen kam heiß und sehr schnell nach der Bestellung. Sehr zu empfehlen. Für unsere Kinder wurde jeweils eine halbe Portion des Gerichts gemacht, mit kleiner Überraschung. Ein kleiner Minuspunkt: nur Barzahlung. Wir würden immer wieder dorthin gehen. Schön neben den Rathaus.

Wir konnten draußen mit Blick auf den Marktplatz zwei wunderbare Schnitzel genießen. Auch der Service war großartig. Es fehlte uns an Nichts.

Wir waren zu zweit, und wählten zum Abendessen die "Hausgemachte Sülze mit Bratkartoffeln", einmal vom Hausschwein und einmal vom Wild ! Begleitet, je, von einem halben Liter alkoholfreies Hefe. Abschließend hatte jeder noch ein warmes Stück Apfelstrudel mit Sahne und einer Kugel Vanilleeis ! Hat prima geschmeckt.

Gut bürgerliche Küche zu fairen Preisen. Die Chefin kocht selbst und alles frisch. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Bei einem kurzen Urlaubsaufenthalt in Harzgerode haben wir hier Mittag gegessen. Spargel, Salzkartoffeln , ohne Schnitzel. Bratkartoffeln, Spiegelei und Schnitzel. Das waren 2 sehr leckere und riesige Portionen. Sehr freundlicher Service. Diese Gaststätte empfehlen wir auf jeden Fall weiter.

Wenn man rein kommt wird man freundlich begrüßt. Freundliche Bedienung, Essen hat super geschmeckt hatten Schnitzel mit Spieleier, Currywurst mit Pommes und Wildgulsch. Hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Wenn wir wieder Besuch haben würde ich wieder hin gehen. 👍

In meinen Augen ein kleiner Geheimtipp! Das Ambiente ist echt schön und recht klein und kuschelig, die Bedienung sehr freundlich. Das Essen war RICHTIG lecker. Vor allem, dass es mal etwas Ausgefalleneres wie Lavendel auf dem Essen gab hat mir richtig gut gefallen. Es war ein kleiner Hingucker und eine leckere Idee obendrein! Gute Preise! Faktisk et hyggeligt sted og maden smager dejligt. Desværre vælger alt personale at komme ud og sidde lige ved siden af os, de tænder alle cigaretter og pulser os lige ind i hovedet mens vi spiser. Så var min appetit ødelagt. Så uforskammet. Vent dog til jeres gæster er færdig med at spise 😥

Zum Abendessen haben wir die Marktklause im Zentrum von Harzgerode besucht. Die Bedienung war gut und die angebotenen Speisen waren wie erwartet. Die Einrichtung zwar etwas schlicht, aber das Essen hat geschmeckt.

Nettes kleines Restaurant direkt am Marktplatz. Die Bratkartoffeln waren sehr gut, genauso wie die Pommes. Man sitz draußen sehr schön!
