Markt-Küche in Mainaschaff

We have been there twice now, without a reservation. We were sent away twice because everything was supposedly reserved, but then sent to an empty table with a note that there were empty seats. The young man behind the counter obviously doesn't have an eye on the well-arranged restaurant. The same procedure is followed for every guest who arrives. Important look in the book, shake your head, no space, people are actually leaving. Or a third person comes along and suddenly everything is no problem. By the way, there were 3 tables available that weren't used at all. Nevertheless it was rejected. A reason to avoid the otherwise good restaurant. Every paying guest is a good guest. Portions rich and good. Prices normal to cheap.

I haven't experienced such friendly and attentive service in a long time. The food was also incredibly delicious, and special requests could be accommodated. Highly recommended, especially for vegetarians :)

I've been a guest at the Reiterstube for years and have always been satisfied. Always fresh, homemade food, a great selection, and something for everyone (German cuisine). Thanks to the location (10 minutes from the highway) and the seating options, outside in the summer or inside in the winter, there's always a comfortable spot to sit. Parking is available directly in front of the restaurant. The owner is always available for a chat, so you feel completely at home. I'd happily return!

We ate here on Friday, May 30, 2025 with 19 people and we were all very happy with the service and the food. The waitresses were quick; they kept asking if we wanted anything else and if everything was okay, and the food arrived promptly. We never got the feeling that they were overwhelmed with a larger group (and there were other guests in the beer garden and inside). I can only recommend the restaurant. Many thanks to the entire team for the fantastic experience. 😁 We'd be happy to come back anytime.
