Markt Döner Haus in Jüchen

The food is generally delicious - the fries are 10/10, and the kebab is also tasty. However, I've noticed lately that the sauce containers don't seem to be emptied and cleaned regularly. No matter whether it's 5 a.m. in the morning or 11 p.m., the stainless steel container is always filled with sauce, without any visible change. (To clarify, I observed a spot on the edge of the container over a week that remained unchanged. I can't say for sure if it was even older since I didn't follow up on the investigation.) Out of curiosity, I took a photo in one day and observed for several days whether anything had changed at the edge or on the surface - unfortunately without success. I would like to see more emphasis on hygiene here - be it through a smaller amount of sauce that is made fresh every day or by storing it in the refrigerator. I would be willing to pay a euro more for that. Until then, I recommend skipping the sauce and instead using an alternative, e.g. B. from Rewe, and order the kebab without sauce. Note to the operator: I simply ask that you clean the sauce containers regularly. A simple flush would be enough to solve the problem. Addendum to the rating: My review was labeled dishonest, which is not true. To prove this, I will be attaching photos to my review around 5am in the coming weeks in case I notice that the sauces are still left in the container overnight (with 2 cell phones for the time and date). Since I pass there every day around 5 a.m. on the way to work, I can easily check this. I also deleted some things that could be misunderstood. I hope you can forgive me for that. The question I have is: Why aren't the containers cleaned after business hours? I have observed this over several days and am writing this here just to point it out. This review is in no way intended as an attack, as I value every member of your team and generally enjoy eating with you. If the hygiene improves, I will adjust the rating to the deserved 5 stars and rewrite the rating and include the positive things I noticed, which is quite a lot. My only concern is that I don't end up with rotten sauce and potentially risk food poisoning. I don't think anyone wants that. I don't have to say anything about the ambience - it's not the most inviting, but that's often what speaks for a good kebab shop - which, as I said, apart from one point, you are. Nevertheless, I would like to thank you for your nice and absolutely non-biased professional response to a critical review where I myself say that you actually deserve 5 stars! As I said, that's the only point I criticize about the sauces.

Unfortunately the ambience is not good, the food especially the kebab and the fries taste really good. Unfortunately, the house smells like cigarettes because people smoke in the house. The service is okay too. I recommend taking it with you. Hygiene on site not perfect. Still happy again

Our standard “dönerria” for falafel and fries in Jüchen. We like the food and the staff.

Very bad experiences there. Ordered 2 kebab plates, meat was ok, the salad left a lot to be desired. When paying at the end they also wanted €2 more because it was a kebab plate with sheep's cheese and pepperoni, which was not discussed or asked beforehand. On one plate a mini piece of sheep's cheese and on the other half a pepperoni filled with water. I can't recommend it

Meat far too light, bread soft instead of crispy. Failed. I also brought one for my girlfriend, who ate it from there for the first time. Of course she couldn't be convinced to eat there again.

Very nice people who work there. They let me try a sauce because I wasn't sure if I liked it. The kebab was very tasty, the bread was toasted well and crusty and the sauce, which I was able to try beforehand, was delicious.

Unclean and smoking at the next table First and last time

All reviews that didn't give this super good kebab shop 4 or 5 stars are definitely not real. The food is great and highly recommended.

Actually delicious, but to me it always seems a little unclean in the display case and the shelves where the food is prepared. Nothing is done about flies, especially in summer. Sitting on everything. The sauces often seem stale and are unpleasant to look at. What I personally find worst is that the owner plays on his cell phone all the time when there are no customers there. We know that cell phones are the biggest bacteria carriers, as many people take them into the toilet and pull them out of their sweaty trouser pockets. He then prepares the ordered meals. Without washing your hands thoroughly beforehand. After using his cell phone. Not even after smoking. This inhibits the anticipation of a delicious meal. If it weren't for that, it would be the perfect kebab shop. Then there would be more stars.

Best kebab AND fries in all of Jüchen <3 super lovely family who always have a smile and even buy you a drink. Ambience 3 stars, because snacks. Always do it anyway. Take along.

Hähnchen Döner muss jeder probieren.

So ein leckeres Döner habe ich noch nie gegessen und freundliche Mitarbeiter waren sehr nett.

Einen Punkt Abzug weil die Portionen variieren, grundsätzlich total lecker und immer wieder einen Besuch wert. Lecker und frisch.

Zastanawiałem się czy tam zjeść, bo opinie o tym miejscu są średnie. Na szczęście się zdecydowałem i to była dobra decyzja! Jedzenie bardzo dobre, fajnie podane. Porcje duże, bez problemu można się najeść. Obsługa miła i pomocna. Polecam!

Amazing hospitality,very friendly owners. The food was very tasty and there were many options to customize your food which is great for picky eaters or people with certain sensory issues to be more comfortable with what theyre eating. Very cozy seating. Enjoyed the whole experience and will come back!!

Sehr freundliche Bedienung, leckerer Döner wie wir ihn aus dem Ruhrpott kennen. Gutes nicht zu verwürztes Kalbsfleisch. Mit einer Portion Pommes und Mayo und einem Softdrink für 7,50 Euro kann man absolut nichts sagen, heutzutage. Es war sauber im Laden und gut klimatisiert. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Leider hatten wir ein Haar im Pomm-Döner. Geschmacklich bis dahin ok gewesen. Ladenlokal wirkt etwas abgenutzt.

Döner schmeckt, aber wenn der Inhaber mit Kumpels im Laden direkt unter dem "Rauchen verboten"-Schild raucht, dass die Klamotten nach wenigen Minuten stinken, scheint der Laden nicht auf zahlende Kunden angewiesen zu sein.
