Pizza tastes ungodly. Basically a bad frozen pizza for a lot of money. Not recommended! Staff nice at least.

This is the main catering point at this Center Parcs. The cuisine is decent with a good variety of different dishes. The only downside would be a somewhat long table service. This appears to be due to a lack of service staff. Furthermore, the staff providing the service were very polite and courteous.

The "balsamic vinegar" on salad is extremely sweet. The lasagne was extremely salty. Needed to explicitly ask to clean the table that was dirty from beer. Shame as it would be a pleasant place to eat with the view on the lake

We ate there with 7 people on two evenings of our stay at Centerpark Bostalsee. All of our dishes were delicious...whether pizza, burgers or pasta. Everything was served hot and brought together. The service staff is attentive, very friendly and always in a good mood. We can fully recommend the Market Café & Bistro.

Ambience and staff OK. However, the food is bad for this and any other price. I didn't think you could go wrong with bruschetta, but far from it. I suspect that the diced tomatoes were completely frozen. They didn't taste like tomatoes, just water and disgusting spices. The fact that the entire topping was removed after two portions didn't bother anyone. The pizzas were also worse than any frozen pizza. It's a shame that you have to let your stay in the park be ruined like that

The burgers were just OK. Can you eat? Service was good. However, what left me speechless was the pizza. How the hell can you offer something like that? You can see that this is all about maximizing profits. The owner doesn't give a shit about quality and I find that disgusting. As the owner of a restaurant, you should at least put some passion into it. The dough, if homemade, is an absolute disaster and if bought, it is definitely not intended for making pizzas. Just doughy and not a consistency that reminds me of pizza at all. I could have made a Yufka/Dürüm out of it, it was so flexible. The sauce only seems to consist of tomato paste with tons of oregano etc. Even the cheapest pureed tomatoes with the right amount of salt are worlds better. The size was a joke anyway for the price. A good dough is quick to make and only requires a little experience and a little rest. If necessary, please just say yes! Baking pizza from Rewe is better. I wanted to get up to ask for the boss and offer some tutoring. You can at least put a little more enthusiasm into it so that you don't just have to rely on new customers, since we definitely won't be eating there again. Even when we pointed out and returned half the pizza, there was no escape and we paid the hefty price of just under €15-16. But you can drink beer here! Thanks.

Extremely annoyed and unfriendly staff That definitely has no interest in giving people a nice afternoon/evening. We kindly asked to be allowed to close the door to the terrace because it was really windy outside and we were sitting with eight people in absolute draft. That was enough to cause a lot of dissatisfaction among the staff. After waiting 30 minutes without anyone coming to pick up food or drinks, we simply ordered using the QR code at the table. Thank God that worked well. Just a shame. But if you look at the reviews here, it's probably normal in this restaurant.

The prices are way too high. Pizza Margherita for 11.90 and Cola for 4.90. Sure location, costs etc. but you would definitely sell more here if the prices were more “normal”.

We have eaten there several times in the evening with our 3 kiddies. Our older one is vegan, so there was something for her too. Everyone was fed up and was able to sit outside very comfortably.

Unfortunately we don't come here anymore. Every year we go on a trip to Bostalsee beach and we often ate in this café (because there were delicious hot brownies with ice cream), the food itself was always poor quality, and today we were super disappointed 😞 After eating I wanted to vomit because I had such a bad feeling in my stomach. … Very poor quality, hot brownie is no longer hot, so half cold and only cream (no ice cream), but egg liqueur. Thank God girl about liqueur told us (that we should order without alcohol). Children's menu from a can or frozen?! The new service staff is OK, but even for a family there are always different people, not the same ones. For the first time in my life I didn't leave a tip. I'm very sorry, the food doesn't taste good. Maybe the boss thinks that this café is a monopolist and has no competition, but no, thank God there are now a lot of other restaurants in the region. So goodbye, don't come there anymore.

Good food (pizza) but the service is very bad! It took a long time before we could order something. In the end the food came even before the drinks and that wasn't just us! The beer was poorly poured, more foam than beer, and the glass of (mineral) water was warm, I wonder if it didn't just come from the tap!

We were there at lunchtime, there were 3 tables occupied inside, and 2 families had already had their food. On the way out I noticed that the 4 young employees at the counter were more occupied with themselves and their smartphones than doing their work. We then sat outside where only one other table was occupied. You could also tell that people were dissatisfied with the wait for the drinks. We sat there for about 20 minutes and the table opposite got their drinks, but the waitress made no attempt to come to us and take an order for the drinks in advance. After 35 minutes I then stopped trying to get something to eat with my family, as I don't want to force my money on anyone and force them to work. We then went to another restaurant and there was perfect service. I would like to apologize for possibly threatening service staff with work with my visit.

Arrived after reservation. It's called, there in the corner by the window is your table. Don't just follow along as you should. Some kind of waiter comes by and throws something on the table that seems to be the menu. Infested with wasps, people laugh about it and do nothing about it. Bah. After a while the waiter comes, I could hardly hear him, take something, drink, eat and whiz away. Food fairly quickly. Pizza, classic burger and two schnitzels. Burger looked nice. Pizza was dripping with grease. The schnitzels were covered in mushroom sauce. You can of course serve it separately, but no. Fortunately, I ordered a bowl of lettuce separately, because that was not included. Only 5 euros for a bowl of lettuce. But okay. Food was decent. You can't do anything wrong with drinking. My plate was just barely empty and the plate whizzed away. No, definitely never again. Very bad. You are in a catering establishment with holidaymakers from different countries. Then behave accordingly. Open up and talk something other than turbo German. You'd better go to the snack corner. Also expensive but cheaper and better to eat.

Not bad, we ate pretty well in this restaurant compared to the rest of Germany. The service was good and there was entertainment during the holidays with aperitif games

We had 2 vegan and 1 veggi pizza. It was super tasty and I haven't had such a good pizza in a long time! The employees are all super nice too.

We went there for dinner today and had a chicken burger and a veggie burger. The size of the chicken was appropriate for the price. The veggie pattie could only be glimpsed under the bun. The fries were quite soggy. There's really nothing special in taste. When asked, one component could not be flexibly replaced when putting together the finger food plate. In a normal restaurant this probably wouldn't have been a big problem. Unfortunately we couldn't order it. The drinks came quickly and the staff was friendly. All in all, you were full, but the price-performance ratio and especially the quality of the food could be improved a little.

I have the feeling that because people eat very poorly in the Snackkorner, they accept the poor quality of the food at excessive prices, there is nothing else apart from the self-service restaurant, which I can't judge. It's better to cook something for yourself, but I think there should be a delicious restaurant during the holidays so that you don't always have to cook yourself. The Center Park was otherwise super beautiful! Now to the restaurant: First time… pizza was worse than a frozen pizza you bake at home, the pasta al pesto was ok. Nuggets fries with vegetables were like many places, although there were also canned vegetables🙈 2nd chance... Wiener Schnitzel was white as snow, after a short complaint the waiter said it had to be that way, we had no idea. The fries that came with it were soggy and were replaced. The chicken wings were good, if a little. I have the feeling that there is a lack of staff here too and people can't cope with the large volume of guests.

We had a Wiener Schnitzel, made from molded meat, with dry fries, a Lassane with black and dry corners and a very small tuna pizza, medium size, 2x 04 beer and an apple spritzer together for €62.70 and that's not possible for a lower snack quality

Unfortunately that wasn't pizza. Reminds me of TK but in a very bad way. Get a frozen pizza and bake it in the microwave or pan. You get more out of it there. Sorry for the bad news!

Hamburgers and salads were quite good, but a bit expensive. The pizza and calzones were a disaster

We ate the deluxe burger with fries and the vegan bolognese with spaghetti. For dessert there was iced chocolate and fruit sorbet. The portions were decent and we enjoyed it 😄

We ordered two burgers for €16.90 each, plus drinks. The drinks came after 15 minutes, the burgers after about 30 minutes. Given that the restaurant was almost empty, the drinks clearly took too long. The burger tasted like buns from the day before and salad carelessly placed on top. Sometimes you had a whole, thick slice of onion in your mouth. On top of that, the bun was drowning in burger sauce. The fries were OK. For the price I would prefer an external restaurant at any time, but in my opinion the value for money wasn't right.

An absolute disgrace. Unfortunately, the kitchen cannot accommodate special requests in the evening. We wanted the vegan burger with meat patty due to my wife's intolerance to some ingredients. This event is an absolute joke. It's just a shame that we had to eat here today, otherwise we would have left.

The food is expensive and not good at all. The drinks take forever, so it's best to order two at once. Service is unmotivated and you are charged for things that you didn't even get.

We are really positively surprised by the reviews here. We had pasta and salad. The portions were large and the quality was really good. The service was great. We didn't have to wait long. All in all it was a great thing :-)

We ate there with our two small children. Both pizza, schnitzel and fries were good. Nothing out of the ordinary but I've definitely eaten much worse. The service is very good. Our waiter was very courteous and child-friendly, and small extra requests were fulfilled. In terms of price, the store is already more expensive, for example the espresso is twice as expensive as at Starbucks in the same building. Nevertheless, we were satisfied and would dine there again.

Ambience is great. However, the food is at canteen level. Relatively expensive for that. Price-performance is not right.

The children's chairs were dirty. We had 3 dishes, the "Ovenfrische" pizza was probably a frozen pizza for €13, which was terrible. The calzone we had was also super dry and the dish with schnitzel, asparagus and potatoes was probably warmed up. The potatoes had really disgusting skin... super unpleasant to eat. Not recommendable!

Within the Centerparcs Bostalsee complex (see review of the complex in general) there are various restaurants, summarized under Market & Cafe: the buffet restaurant, the à la carte restaurant, the fast food paradise (with convenient access directly from Dome and the swimming pool) and the cozy café with bar. In the buffet area you can indulge yourself for EUR 20.00 or EUR 10.00 (for adults/children in the breakfast buffet) or for EUR 37.00 or EUR 16.00 (for adults/children in the evening buffet). The breakfast buffet is about the level of a 3-4 star hotel, while the evening buffet offers a colorful variety of soups, salads, meat dishes and desserts. Both buffets are beautifully presented, but honestly there is nothing that couldn't be replicated at home with a few discount products and a pinch of cooking skills. We finally decided to use our well-equipped kitchen in the holiday apartment. As for the staff, they sometimes seemed more like buffet guards than servers. Maybe it was because "ToGoodToGo" bags were sold shortly before the buffet closed to keep the cash registers ringing a little longer. The fast food restaurant offers the eponymous selection of burgers, sausages, fries and the like. A simple cheeseburger costs around EUR 5.00, and while the portion is quite tasty, we found the waiting times a bit long for such a simple dish. The market café is the hub for drinks of all kinds, especially during the evening shows. The cocktail menu is simple, but there is something for every taste, and the service is quick and polite. We didn't try the à la carte restaurant, but you can order pizza, pasta, salmon, schnitzel or rump steak there, at prices between 12 and 30 EUR per portion.

The quality of this pizza for €14 is really subpar. The size is ridiculously small and the dough is so bad it's hard to even describe it. Definitely not a recommendation!

The worst pizza of my life! I feel the need to share my experience with this pizzeria so that no one has to go through the same disappointing experience. We recently ordered two pizzas for a total of €28, and unfortunately what we got was nothing other than an absolute disaster. The first disappointment was the size of the pizzas. For such an inflated price we would have expected at least a decent portion, but they were just tiny. But that wasn't enough, the taste was simply terrible. The pizzas were dry and tasteless, as if they had been available for purchase at a diner all day. No trace of fresh ingredients or good quality. It's hard to understand how a pizzeria manages to get its core business so wrong. It's obvious that this pizzeria is aware of its monopoly position in Center Parcs and is simply ripping off customers. They take advantage of the fact that there aren't many alternatives and people are hungry. I've tried many pizzas in my life, but this was by far the worst. It's unfortunate that I wasted my hard earned money on something so bad. I can only hope that my review will prevent others from experiencing the same fate. Please pay attention to my words and save yourself from this waste of money!

Unfortunately service was overwhelmed today

Today we wanted to have a drink on the terrace. There is a barcode on the table that you scan and get to the menu. There we ordered our drinks online and paid immediately via PayPal. After half an hour I went to the counter and asked how long it would take. At the counter I was told off that we would be next and that it was very busy. At the next table people were already getting up and leaving angrily after there was nothing to drink, even though it had been paid for .After another 15 minutes a woman came to the table and said that the beer she had ordered wasn't there. Nice, after 45 minutes of waiting we noticed that too. We then left without drinking anything and now of course I'm running after my money .

It’s very hygienic Very fast taking orders and in ten minutes all ready. The staff are friendly. It’s a kids friendly area. Price are really reasonable.

What we tried: Children's pizzas (taste awful, also extremely salty. Adult pizzas: dry dough, terrible cheese Tomato soup: it's not a soup, it's definitely diluted tomato paste, it's a complete disgrace, don't make the mistake of saying that. Ofenkartoffel mit Hähnchen: the chicken was relatively good, the potatoes had such bad taste and color that they were spoiled. Conclusion; high price terrible experience!

Great place to go wen your kids are playing and you need a coffee or something to eat.

Waren bereits öfter hier. Das Essen ist super, der Service lässt manchmal etwas auf sich warten, ist aber stets freundlich. Leider finden nicht alle gemeldeten Events seitens Center Park statt. (heute sollte es live Musik sein)

Das Personal ist wirklich top, auch wenn hier sich manche über die Preise beschweren, würde ich doch direkt ein Restaurant eröffnen wenn man soviel damit verdienen kann, hier gibt es KOSTENLOSE Kinderbespassung und ein KOSTENLOSES Schwimmbad. Auch wenn das Essen keine Sterne Qualität hat , es ist durchaus 👍, und wenn hier einige sich über die Größe der Pizza beschweren, mir ist doch lieber ich bestelle etwas nach als das mal wieder die Hälfte in den Müll landet .Und eins noch , es wäre auch mal an der Zeit das das Personal die Gäste bewertet, weil es ist leichter neue Gäste zu finden als neues Personal, und manche Gäste braucht mann nicht. Und zuletzt, dann bin ich fertig, ich habe nichts mit der Gastronomie zu tun, ich gehe nur gerne essen.

Dieses Restaurant ist nur zu empfehlen. Meine Pizza war schön groß und heiß. Von meinen Eltern das Essen sah mega lecker aus und das war es bestimmt auch. Sitzplätze sind genügend. Wir wurden direkt nach ungefähr 5min gefragt was wir essen/trinken wollten. Auf unser Essen & Trinken mussten wir knapp 10min warten. Voll okay... Die Preise sind für diese super Qualität echt okay. Die Tische waren sauber. Würde jedes mal wieder hier essen gehen.

Sehr schönes Ambiente. Das Potential ist also da. Den Fachkräftemangel bekommt leider auch Center Parcs zu spüren - Mit Gastronomischen Augen leider schlimm und traurig anzusehen. Unsere Getränke und Speisen waren ok. Ich sehe wie überall die Herausforderungen der Gastronomie. Einen Stern zu geben ist gemein und nicht gerechtfertigt. Überall arbeiten nur Menschen.. Der Großteil des Personal ist bemüht und sehr freundlich.

Eten is goed genoeg maar verwacht niks hoogstaand. Personeel is vriendelijk maar niet altijd even vlug en inzichtelijk. Moesten een paar keer zelf naar de bar lopen om wat te bestellen 😒 Verder veel lawaai van gillende kinderen maar dat kun je verwachten op zo’n plek 😩

Wij hebben hier 2 keer gegeten, een keer met 4 volwassen een keer met 5 volwassen. Het eten is niet bijzonder en best wel prijzig, teras buiten is rommelig maar binnen is het heel netjes.

Prima locatie om een borrel met wat snacks te doen. De bitterballen en Nachos waren lekker! (Wel een beetje aan de prijs, vandaar de 4 sterren). Obers waren netjes, we werden snel geholpen en konden leuk buiten zitten! Zeker een aanrader.

Ich weiß nicht, ob sich die Horde hier an den Vorgängerbewertungen orientiert oder meint, diese übertrumpfen zu müssen... Aber ich finde die Pizza zB nicht auffällig schlecht. Halt keine 5**** Küche, aber würde ich dort auch eh nicht erwarten. Wir waren alle (9 Leute) eher überrascht, dass das Essen für so einen Durchgangs-/Massenbetrieb doch ganz ok ist. Die Kellnerinnen waren sehr freundlich, wenn auch nicht sehr verkaufsorientiert (niemand kam, um zu fragen, ob wir noch etwas möchten), die Lage und die Aussicht sind top. Wartezeit trotz fast vollständiger Belegung gut und alle 9 Essen kamen gleichzeitig und warm.

Das Personal ist freundlich und nett. Die Preise dagegen schon ordentlich, was man aber hier auch nicht anders erwarten darf. 4 köpfige Familie zahlt hier definitiv über 100€. Essen ist nichts besonderes. Es ist kein schlechtes Essen aber auch nichts was einen umhaut. Hier könnte man auch mal einen Lappen kn die Hand nehmen und Tische abwischen.

Pizza Hawaii war super👏, Classic Burger auch👍. Pommes ohne Salz aber das ist ja nicht unbeliebt. Personal aufmerksam und freundlich

Just next to the beach at Bostalsee. We came to this restaurant after the beach. When you go to lake to swim, you can come here and eat. The food is good and they have big portions. Also the stuff is so kind and helpful. Definitely recommend.

Gemütlich wurde im Außenbereich auf der Terrasse ein Caramel Macchiato getrunken, der nebenbei gesagt sehr lecker schmeckte. Die Bedienung war freundlich, der Außenbereich einladend angelegt.

Haben dort zu dritt für 56€ gegessen. Jeder hatte ein Hauptgericht und 1 Getränk. Die Schnitzel waren echt lecker. Schön aus der Pfanne heraus gebraten. Allerdings war eines der Schnitzel sehr versalzen. Kann passieren, ist ja nicht schlimm. Was dann allerdings etwas unangenehm war, war der Koch der sich dann hinterm Tresen lautstark aufgeregt hat und das Servicepersonal angemault hat. Als Entschuldigung gab es dann für jeden eine Kugel Eis. Das war sehr freundlich. Doof nur das in einer Eiskugel 3 Fruchtfliegen waren.. Naja.. da haben wir dann nichts gesagt und haben es einfach stehen lassen. War hoffentlich alles nur ein unglücklicher Zufall. Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Das Ambiente war auch sehr sehenswert.

Der deluxe Burger war aufgetautes Fleisch, der Bacon war gefühlt 5x fritiert, die Pommes ungenießbar, aber auf Nachfrage kamen sofort frische Pommes. Für den Preis nicht doll. Die Pizza war OK, aber nicht überragend. Chickennuggets schmecken überall besser.

Wir waren positiv überrascht. Pasta (Sahnesauce, Feta+Gemüse, Bolognese) sehr lecker. Der Service schnell und freundlich.

Essen ekelhaft! Probiert wurden Burger, Pizza, Remulade auf dem Burger, Schnitzel schmeckte vegetarisch Personal sagt nicht "bitte" oder man wird ignoriert und das geht nicht das war das erste und das letzte mal dass ich und meine Familie dort gegessen haben.

Netter und zuvorkommender Service! Da es im Center Park ist natürlich Kinderfreundlich. Das Essen war auch gut. Der Chicken Burger mit Hähnchen Filet war sehr lecker. Die normalen Burger waren gut. Die Beilagen waren auch lecker. Die Preise passen zum Park und waren in Ordnung.

Ich hatte mir zum Abendessen den Veggie Burger mit einer Portion Pommes bestellt. Das Essen kam nach 10 Minuten an den Tisch, jedoch waren die Pommes schon recht kalt und pappig. Das Patty war zwar anders wie vorgestellt, da es ein Gemüse Patty aus Karotte, Kartoffeln und anderen Gemüsestücken war, aber lecker war es trotzdem. Im großen und ganzen war es dort okay.

Essen war zwar Gut aber Preise sehr Teuer und fertig essen.

Mit 4 Erwachsenen und 3 Kleinkindern gegessen. Kann tatsächlich die negativen Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen! Rumpsteak auf den Punkt gebraten, Pommes und Salat sehr lecker. Süsskartoffelsalat war sehr lecker und frisch und die Kids hatten Spaghetti Bolognese. Essen kam sehr schnell, Service war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Danke

Wir waren zum Abschluss unseres Aufenthalts im Center Park hier essen.😎🍟 Wir bekamen nach der Überprüfung der Corona Impfnachweise einen größeren Tisch zugewiesen.😀😀 Nach der Bestellung kam das Essen sehr zügig. Auch war das Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit.🌟🌟 Leider entsprach die Qualität nicht ganz unseren Vorstellungen. Hier ist noch Luft nach oben, wie erwartet. 😜😜 Update Wir waren der Tage erneut hier. Es gab auf einer Bühne eine Show/Veranstaltung für Kinder.
