Beautiful place, very good food, service too.

The staff was quick and very friendly. I had a pizza that I enjoyed, even though the crust was a bit thick for my taste. My colleague ordered a Bolognese schnitzel and was really impressed. We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful weather, which made the visit even more pleasant. The prices are a bit on the higher side, but overall it was a really nice experience that I can recommend.

[Current visit: Tuesday, August 19, 2025] with the family. Menu (excluding wine list) is attached with excellent photo quality (Kappa #Not) Massimo & his crew are still hard at work over the years. I should also note the superb location on the Main River: right next to the Hotel "Zum Schwanen" and the Main Cycle Path directly adjacent, making the experience wonderful and easily accessible for a summer bike ride and a stop at the restaurant. A very nice restaurant with a beer garden on the Main River. It's also easily accessible via a bike path along the Main River. The food was delicious.

Hello dear readers, We were there for dinner last night with twelve people. About the location: The table layout and the location are very well designed. It's also on the corner of a park, with the Main River running alongside. The restrooms were clean, and everything in the restaurant was very well-maintained. About the service: Taking our drink and food orders went smoothly. The staff were also very nice and friendly. You're probably wondering why I deducted three stars for the service. We honestly had to wait over an hour and a half for our food. The tables next to us, who arrived later, had already eaten and paid by that time. And some of them had even left the restaurant again. After asking several times, our food arrived. But of course, half of it was forgotten. Like the side salads and additional salads. But in a way, we didn't care, because the long wait for the food had naturally also put a damper on our mood. We then paid and left the restaurant. Of course, it was a very busy evening, but it's still important to keep an overview. We all ordered pizza and pasta, which were truly delicious and we can recommend them. Unfortunately, we can't comment on the salads. We would, however, recommend the restaurant and would gladly return. Of course, we hope things will move along a bit faster. Best regards

The location is highly recommended. Drinks can take a little longer to arrive when it's busy, but that's not a big deal.

I was just thirsty and wanted to drink apple spritzer. A 0.5 oz apple juice spritzer cost €4.80. Apple juice mixed with sparkling water should cost that much? Almost like October. I wanted to pay by card, but it's not possible because the price was way too low 😂, and she didn't say how much it would cost. I just put the money in my pocket without printing out a receipt.

Super delicious food, fluffy pizza with the perfect amount of toppings. Service is great, servers are courteous and often ask if they can bring something. We were there with about 20 people, and the food was completely served within about 30 minutes. I highly recommend it.

Nice beer garden. The menu isn't too extensive, so there's something for everyone. The food is of good quality. The value for money is good. The service could be a bit more attentive at times. Still, 👍

The location is top-notch, but unfortunately (or perhaps because of that 😉?) the tables are quite close together. Considering the pizza supposedly comes from a wood-fired oven, the dough wasn't fluffy enough for me. And it's really busy on weekends, so reservations are recommended. The prices are also...quite steep! ...8.50 for a tiramisu...is more expensive than in Oberstdorf...where you could say they're "tourist prices"... Conclusion: Fewer tables and lower the prices...then everything's just right for 5 stars...the location is practically a money-making machine anyway.

This Italian beer garden is idyllically located right on the Main River Cycle Path. We've been here several times and have always been extremely satisfied. The service is excellent. I highly recommend the delicious stone-baked pizza, which is crispy until the last bite 👌.

The price-performance ratio is completely out of place. I find a large bottle of water for €8.50 completely unreasonable, as is a pizza "mare" for €20.50.

I was always a guest at the Marienhof with my children, some of whom live in America, and have always been satisfied to this day. Today I was disappointed: shrimp pans. It wasn't pink seafood, but something white, tough and tasteless, instead of cherry tomatoes, watery tomato slices, not seasoned, then lots of salt in one corner. All in all disappointing and at 17.50 too expensive for this quality. Only the beer was ok. You probably have to pay for the great location right on the Main. The next restaurant visit will be somewhere else. Too bad.

We were in the beer garden both in the summer and in the restaurant in March and can only say that the food is incredibly good. 👌 the service is friendly and the waiting time for the food is absolutely reasonable. During beer garden times you have to wait a little longer to be served. What should definitely be corrected are the payment methods, as these do not match the information on the Internet and could potentially become “uncomfortable” for the guest who visibly leaves the information.

We would like to thank the host Rico and his great team from the bottom of our hearts for a wonderful evening with excellent food and absolutely brilliant wine. The grappa was also a pleasure and we look forward to next time

We ordered 3 pizzas to be delivered and we were thrilled, it was so delicious and by far the best pizza in Aschaffenburg. And even though it was a Saturday evening, delivery was quick. We'll be coming to the restaurant for dinner soon and we're really looking forward to it. Highly recommended, especially the Frutti di Mare pizza was terrific!

We were there for the first time today. There were 6 of us in total and I have to say we all loved it. Each of us had something different to eat. We had everything from vitello tonnato to linguini with mussels, pizza and schnitzel. All dishes were excellent. Above all, we liked the ambience right on the river with the beautiful terrace and view. The entire service team was very friendly, warm and, above all, very accommodating. It's not often these days that you see that everything just fits in a restaurant. A huge thank you and a great compliment.

Great location right on the Main cycle path, because the outdoor area is completely covered, the atmosphere is a bit dark and oppressive, but that can be a good thing when temperatures are over 30 degrees. My tagliata was very good, maybe fried a little too raw. However, the ready-made salad dressing from the bottle (my guess) wouldn't have been needed. The Marienhof will definitely be visited again.

Went there for the first time yesterday and had pizza. It was very tasty.

Fast and attentive service. Tables are cleaned properly after each guest, which is often neglected. Portions are sufficient and nicely arranged. Food was tasty (calamares). The cappuccino that followed was also good, especially nice and hot, which I often miss. It's nice to sit with a view of the Main, but you feel a little like you're in prison on the terrace because the fence obscures your view (yes, I know, complaining at a high level). I think we'll go there again, especially since the beer garden is right on the bike path and is therefore a tip for cyclists.

The fries were cold and soggy, and the pizza was unfortunately far dry... a shame The prices are not justified, the quality has decreased VERY much compared to last year.

I don't get a second chance, which is very rare. I no longer consider the hefty prices and what the kitchen provides in return to be appropriate. Only the base of the pizza was good and with prices of easily 15 euros and more (you can get there quickly, with just one more ingredient) my understanding stops. It tasted nothing at all. The portion of noodles with The quantity of shrimp corresponds to a children's plate. Add to that high drink prices that make you think twice about treating yourself to a third. The furniture is It's getting old and so crowded that you have to be careful in every direction not to harass other guests. The service did its part properly. Conclusion: Anyone who charges such prices must deliver quality and taste. That wasn't the case here.

A very nice place, you can feel the Italian atmosphere. Very nice service. Food very tasty. Perfectly fried steaks. Large portions. One big minus was the carpaccio, which had very little meat in it. It is very pleasant to sit on the terrace, overlooking the river, surrounded by fig and olive trees. One of the better Italian restaurants in the area.

You sit on a beautiful terrace directly on the Main. The pizzas are very crispy and well topped. The size is also right for the price. The waitresses were all very friendly and special requests were no problem.

The Marienhof beer garden is a little pearl on the Main. There's really nothing to complain about. Whether it's the ambience, facilities, service, food... everything to your complete satisfaction. ITALIAN KITCHEN The only tiny drawback: The beer garden was quite full, estimated at least 150 people, and the service staff seemed visibly moderately stressed. Prices could be a little more hospitable, at least the drinks. All in all: Highly recommended!!

Unique, cozy beer garden with a direct view of the River Main. The kitchen is centrally located in the middle of the beer garden and offers various seating options with different ambiences, from open seating on wooden benches to awning-covered terrace seating. The food is typically Italian, the selection of dishes from salads to pizzas to meat dishes is large enough to find something to suit your own taste...the portions are just as big. Everything tastes very tasty. Children were also thought of with small dishes and high seats. Recommended from a short individual visit to celebrating with a few friends! The roofing has been new since 2024, with a direct connection to the central kitchen (service island), which allows plenty of light into the covered area with double-wall panels; Additionally with Plexiglas sliding elements to protect the seating area on the sides. There is currently a television under the roof to follow the European Championship soccer games.

Good restaurant with a great location. The fence to the promenade is too massive and unkempt for me. Has the charm of the 70s. Or that of Swedish curtains. It's difficult to choose 🤔. Food is always good like in a restaurant

Until about 3 years ago it was my insider tip, the best pizza far and wide from the charcoal oven, just like you know from Italy. Plus absolutely fair prices, friendly and fast service. Today? After the oven had been modernized (with gas or electricity?) I was horrified by the loss of quality. There is no longer any reason to cycle 9 km from Seligenstadt to Kleinostheim for pizza, especially since the prices have been increased so much that it no longer bears any relation to the food. But what remains is the nice service, the beautiful ambience and the coldest Pils you can get in a beer garden. So it's still worth a stop/visit if you share a normal pizza for 30 marks...
