We always enjoy coming from Dierhagen to Prerow during our holidays to eat here. This time we even came by bike, and I would have even walked. Great team and a very nice atmosphere. Keep up the good work. Volker

Friendly, delicious food, served incredibly quickly - what more could you want?

Last night, four of us dined here in a fairly full house. The atmosphere was very pleasant and harmonious. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Despite the busyness, the wait time was very short. All the dishes were extremely delicious and lovingly prepared. A dish that arrived at our table incorrectly was quickly and politely replaced with the correct dish. Overall, an absolute recommendation! We'd be happy to come back!

Whether it's pizza, fish, or something else, the food here simply tastes good and the quality is top-notch! Very friendly and attentive staff, a cozy atmosphere, and excellent food at reasonable prices. Highly recommended. We're always happy to come back for our holidays :-)

A truly fantastic Italian restaurant with outstanding food at reasonable prices! The pizza and pasta dishes are incredibly delicious. I especially recommend the appetizer selection; it was simply delicious and the ingredients used were truly top-quality, making it well worth the money. We were also very impressed with the beetroot gnocci and the sea bass with lemon risotto. We'll be back every time we go on holiday!

The pizzeria is fantastic; we ate there twice. The pizza was fantastic, with a great base and plenty of toppings. We'd love to come back next year.

We visited the restaurant for the first time today, October 6, 2025, and had pizza. It was simply fantastic, with fresh ingredients. Highly recommended, and we'd love to come back.

Despite the large crowds, they're always very helpful and friendly. We're always happy to come back.

We had to wait a bit. I deducted a point for the ambiance because the service itself was great. The food—pizza and pasta—was excellent. We would come again.

It tasted wonderful! The goat cheese is divine, and the pizzas are delicious! The staff was friendly and very helpful. We were delighted again the second time! Highly recommended!

Our beetroot gnocchi and the rigatoni al forno were very good. Service was excellent, and prices were reasonable.

We ate there four times during our vacation and are therefore confident repeat customers. We tried half the menu, and without exception, everyone (adults and children) enjoyed everything. All the dishes were good to very good in terms of portion size and arrived quite quickly. We found the prices reasonable. A huge plus point for the friendliness, promptness, and service orientation goes to the entire staff, especially Marita. It's a shame that this might have been your last season; we'll miss you next time. All the best!

Bombastic inside and good outside, food tastes excellent and the staff is top

The food was really very good, nothing to complain about. The reason I'm only giving it 3 stars is because of one of the waitresses. Unfortunately, she wasn't very friendly, spoke in a rather harsh tone, and showed little warmth – that was the first negative point. Secondly, we were seated at a table in a corner that was only partially covered. When it started to rain, the rain cover wasn't lowered far enough to keep our table dry. Instead, it was only adjusted to protect the ice cream stand. Even though I was already sitting there with my hood up, I would have appreciated being asked if we wanted to move. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. For these reasons, it was unfortunately my first and last visit.

My son and I were really craving pizza, and we weren't disappointed. The service was super friendly, and the pizzas and tiramisu were amazing. Yes, the price is a bit high for a single mom, but you don't go out to eat every day. So, we highly recommend it.

Not recommended for non-smokers. We were literally filled with smoke. For dinner, rigatoni with beef strips, I actually found two 1 cm long ones. The wine was good, though.

Our second visit during our vacation in Prerow. It was delicious again: crispy pizza, salad with your choice of dressing, not just oil and vinegar. Bruschetta without onions, carbonara without cream, just as it should be. For dessert, we had ice cream to go. Highly recommended with the family.

Very, very tasty food – pizzas ranging from good ("Prerow") to truly understated (with salmon) – even compared to other non-touristy restaurants. Drinks are overpriced. Very friendly staff. Con: Only after much persuasion is the nearest "closed" parking lot accessible to people with walking disabilities. Unfortunately, this lack of courtesy and consideration is truly deplorable. A real shame, because it seriously tarnishes the initially solid and recommendable impression.

So we arrived with great anticipation and positive expectations. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. The two stars are for the ambiance and some of the staff. They really worked like crazy. The drinks were also well mixed with a decent kick. Unfortunately, our server wasn't at all quick and often disappeared for a long time. The table next to us had to wait over 15 minutes after the table was cleared and only got attention by waving and calling out that they could have another dessert. They then asked for cards: we were given one card for 8 people. Our service was very, very slow and not very attentive. We waited over an hour for our food, and we weren't the only ones. That's really unacceptable for simple pasta and pizza. There was no bread or olives, as you'd expect from other Italian restaurants. No apology for the long wait, or to pretend it was normal. The quality of the food was okay and edible, but nothing more! The flavor is bland, the sauces are bland, and can only be enhanced with olive oil, salt, and a generous amount of Parmesan cheese. The pizza toppings are very limited. Bruschetta has zero garlic, no salt, and is completely bland; some of the bread was already brown. And you have to ask for seasoning options; they don't usually come with it like at other Italian restaurants. The price/performance ratio is poor. There are cheaper and better Italian restaurants in town.

The food was recommendable, and the value for money was very good. I would eat there again.

The restaurant is practically right there when you arrive hungry from the main beach entrance. We ordered takeout twice, which was delicious and the portions were generous. The orders arrived promptly. We then enjoyed the meal in the garden of our holiday apartment with a delicious glass of wine.

This is our third visit to Restaurant Maria Rosa (2024-2025) and, as always, we are very satisfied. The service, the ambiance, the food, and the attentive staff were all excellent. Thank you very much.

Today I went to Maria's again and had rigattoni al forno, which was absolutely delicious. I especially want to mention the service...very attentive and very friendly. I felt very comfortable. Since I just arrived, I will definitely eat there again.

The food tasted average. The fish soup doesn't deserve its name. Small portions at an exorbitant price. Three pieces of fish in the cream soup were clearly visible. Due to the location on the main street, it was noisy.

Good Italian food. We ordered gnocchi with beetroot, mascarpone and nuts, and spaghetti bolognese. The food was just good. The spaghetti lacked a bit of sauce, but the taste was good. The service was nice. We will probably come back here

The restaurant itself is recommended. There's a parking lot nearby, but it's subject to a fee, which is a negative. As a guest, you'll receive good service.

We arrived spontaneously and late because other restaurants were already closed. We were seated inside right away, ordered, and the wait for the food wasn't long. The interior is modern, and the outside area looked very cozy too! We had pizza maggi and salami. The cheese on the pizza melted beautifully! If you need a break from all the fish in the area, you can definitely stop by!

We only stopped here for a drink during our bike ride. It's an unassuming place from the outside, but it's very tastefully decorated.

Delicious pizza with spinach and fresh salmon, super-tasty penne with buffalo mozzarella and pesto, the finest bruschetti ever, and very friendly, efficient service. They also had Coke Zero by the glass, and not just in miniature bottles. Highly recommended, especially the fresh, homemade tiramisu.

The food tasted bland; the tagliatelle with salmon and lobster sauce had no flavor. The meat wasn't seasoned. The "greetings from the restaurant" (olives, a small piece of bread with spread) were missing for the high price. The music was far too loud and annoying. Unfortunately, the visit wasn't worth it for us.

Highly recommended, the food was very plentiful and I was extremely satisfied, including the spaghetti carbonara. Reservations are recommended, the visit is definitely worth it.

We were there in the early evening, and our small dog was also welcome. The service was friendly, we didn't have to wait long, and the pizzas we ordered were delicious.

We had a tomato soup there that was absolutely one of the best I've had in a restaurant, with chunks of tomato and definitely freshly made. Then we had the penne tonno with capers and olives in tomato sauce. Also super fresh, al dente pasta with lots of tuna, fresh capers and olives, also in a fresh tomato sauce with small chunks. It tasted really good. The prosciuto e funghi pizza was also very good, but could have been a bit browner. All in all, the food was really very good and highly recommended.

Reserve a place by phone. We were there with a dog, which wasn't a problem. Food came to the table fresh and tasty within 20 minutes. The waiter was very nice.

Opening hours changed 6 weeks ago, so today according to the homepage it's open from 12 p.m., but I think it's closed.

The food was delicious. My husband had an arugula pizza and I had a salad with prawns. The price/performance ratio was a bit too high! The prawns cost an extra €8 on the salad. However, the service and ambiance are highly recommended.

It has become the best Italian restaurant in Prerow. Very good soups – tomato and garlic – a very nice mixed appetizer platter, excellent Bolognese and Napoli, as well as delicious pizzas and fish dishes. We had practically everything except the meat, and it was really very good. The friendly and prompt service – in the early afternoon – rounded off the extremely positive impression. Update 2025: Everything is still perfect. The quality is still very good, and the friendliness is still top-notch. Reservations in the evening are recommended.

Shortly before the turn of the year, we visited Prerow again. That evening, we booked a table at Ristorante Maria Rosa. The food was excellent! The service was friendly and attentive. The price-performance ratio was good, considering the price increases of the past year.

Wir haben uns durch das Angebot auf derTafel vor dem Restaurant (Zanderfilet,Salzkartoffeln und Senfsoße für 17,90€ ) anlocken lassen. Geschmacklich war es auch gut, aber die Portion war für ein Mäuschen (Das Filet ist eben nur ein Filet und von der Menge okay. Aber die Beilage war ein Witz. Eine winzig kleine Kartoffel wurde in 5 dünne Scheibchen geschnitten und auf dem Teller zum Fisch serviert.Nachdem ich dem Kellner darauf ansprach, dass die Menge wohl etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig wäre, wurde zuerst geäußert, dass es aus Versehen eine Kinderportion war , später wurde es dann eine Seniorenportion aber eine Entschuldigung kam in kleinster Weise. Es wurden lieblos zu meinem nachbestellten Salat ( um satt zu werden)noch ein paar Kartoffeln auf den Tisch gestellt.Dies war mehr eine Beleidigung als eine Wiedergutmachung.

As with every Prerow holiday, we have been to Maria Rosa at least once and are always surprised that the "Italian flair" ... despite the long existence in Prerow ... is still there 👍 Since we have been to Italy many times, we can We compare it quite well 😉 Delicious food, delicious drinks, friendly staff... everything is perfect 👍 However, you should make a reservation in advance...

We were here twice and really enjoyed it. On Sunday evening without a reservation, after a short wait - there was already a queue at the door - we were greeted in a friendly manner and taken to the table. The pizzas are amazing! Highly recommend the Pizza Prerow and the Pizza Maria Rosa! Two days later the same good experience again, this time we ordered pasta dishes. This time too, after a short wait, the drinks were served first, and a moment later the large portions were served, so everyone was full. Also very tasty food. Thank you for that!

We got a table without a reservation, the staff was very friendly. The pizza tasted very good, but the pasta with mushrooms and tomato minced meat sauce was not good: mostly pasta with cheese and a few mushrooms, sauce was missing - therefore very dry. We will not eat here again.
