Standard fare, nothing special. You won't be disappointed, but hours later you'll have forgotten what you actually ordered. You know what I mean.

Food and service exceptionally good.

Giant pizzas. Cozy. Food delicious. Unfortunately, the hot chocolate was only lukewarm. The waiter was incompetent, brought water after the third order. Always cold instead of lukewarm. The dark beer I requested was wheat beer, and the spritzer was also without additives. Even after complaining, it didn't work. Very expensive overall. Parking spaces were almost always available. The bartender pulled a face and didn't greet anyone, despite all of us greeting each other individually. Not acceptable.

Cozy, delicious restaurant with a family atmosphere; feel-good factor!

Once again at Mare e Monti, lunchtime, few guests. A family with children at the next table, whose parents completely left the decision about noise level, room, etc. We were barely able to have a conversation, and this really stressed us out; not every guest wants to be entertained like that in a restaurant. We accepted it... changing tables would have been better, but we didn't. Ordered 3 pizzas, okay. 1 pizza calzone, the dough was quite black on top, dry, no sauce or cheese on top, and cold tomato sauce as decoration. The tuna pizza was also dry and had partly black dough. 3 pizzas caprizia were okay. The "house" bruschetta starter was very nice. When paying, we were offered a non-alcoholic Amaretto again, as we don't drink alcohol. The restaurant was very clean, and the waiters were unpretentious and friendly. There was the option of eating outside with a glass-enclosed veranda (windows can be opened). Seats. Prices adjusted to current standards. Restrooms unfortunately without soap, and no disinfectant either. All guests had a good experience, and all the best to the staff as well.

The food is delicious. I highly recommend the bruschetta, which we had as a starter. The atmosphere is charming and one of the nicest I've ever seen at an Italian restaurant.

My family and I have been to this restaurant several times over the years. This time there were six of us to celebrate my birthday there. The "Congratulations" banner was hung up, but the greeting didn't really take place and the waiter's facial expression was so unfriendly and dissatisfied - I've never received such a bad welcome in an Italian restaurant. After that my dish was forgotten. My family had already almost finished eating and I was sitting in front of an empty table. Nobody looked after us or asked questions, even though it wasn't at all full. When I asked, it was discovered that my dish had apparently been forgotten in the kitchen. I then canceled it and ate the rest of my daughter's pasta. The icing on the cake was that the forgotten dish was included on the bill. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Never experienced such bad service in my life. We'll never go there again! Super disappointing!!!!

The three of us came here spontaneously. We had a pollo salad, a capriziosa pizza and a pasta dish. I think it's a nice Italian restaurant with friendly service. Each of us was very satisfied with our meal. After our meal we were offered a nightcap. I think I can only recommend Mare e Monti. Lg

Delicious food, nice staff, quiet atmosphere. Priced a little higher.

The tomato soup is super great! The taste wasn't quite as prominent at first, but became more intense over time. All in all, a really tasty soup that warms you up from the inside on cold days and is not particularly expensive. Can only recommend it :)

Very cozy with lots of wood, very experienced staff, quick service; Best Margherita pizza for ever, as well as the gnocchi.

Facilities rustic. The pizzas were thin and crispy, really good and the topping was juicy but the dough wasn't soggy. There was one free bruschetta per person 1. Pizza salami with extra garlic 2. Pizza scampi The salad was fresh. At the end there was a free Sambuca per person.

A very nice restaurant. The pizzas taste great. Other dishes also taste good, but not excellent. The beef fillet steak was supposed to be “well done”, but unfortunately it was very dry. But there was a very friendly hint to order it as “Butterfly” next time. Then the steak is probably cut in half. Very, very friendly staff. You can feel very comfortable🤩👍

One of my favorite restaurants. Excellent service and friendly, friendly staff. Cozy atmosphere, there are tables on the terrace, which is open all year round. Delicious dishes and wines. It's nice that they bring bruschetta comfort for a snack. I definitely recommend this restaurant!

A fantastic restaurant. The food was freshly prepared. At least that's how it tasted. . Whether mussels or homemade pasta. Were extremely tasty. The ambience is very charming and makes you feel comfortable. It's not cheap and you can taste that. Price performance is more than adequate If you don't want to eat often but want to eat very well, Mare e Monti is the right place for you.

Nice Italian pub in a Bavarian atmosphere. Friendly Italian waiters. And on the Saturday we were there, very empty.

We were a large group and everything went great. The food was delicious and the care/service was excellent. Really recommended.

An average Italian. The salad is somewhat carelessly prepared and the dressing is obviously a simple “ready-made” product. The spaghetti was good, but nothing special. The service is friendly, but the atmosphere is not necessarily inviting. The prices are reasonable and are on the lower side.

Before I enter the restaurant, I check whether the nice waiter with the white hair is there, because it is his personal concern to satisfy the guests. There is a beautiful terrace where you can sit sheltered. The open wines are good. Unfortunately, the quality of the food varies extremely. You shouldn't miss the desserts here, where a lot of effort goes into designing them. The eye likes to eat with it. The women's toilet is catastrophic, where toilet paper is almost always missing. The outside door handle is hanging down and the faucet on the sink is broken. Cared for is different.

Unfortunately, I've never had such a bad fillet steak and the vegetables that were on the plate as a side dish were apparently just supposed to look good but not taste good. In addition, the side dish is a joke because I had 5 potato wedges on it. So if you want to eat well and be full you shouldn't go here!!!

We ate in the restaurant based on a recommendation. We were shown a table and the walker we had brought with us could stand next to it. There are two bus lines within walking distance of the restaurant.

A very nice Italian restaurant, although it is run by a couple from Poland, but they understand Italian very well, very good oven-baked pizza and other dishes, including pasta and seafood.

I come here regularly, the staff are always super friendly and the service is fast. Food is always good and consistent. My favourite Italian restaurant in the neighborhood, and the friendliness of its staff beats its competitors in the hood, where I’ve had less inviting and enjoyable experiences.

Die Pizza war teigig und matschig, haben wir zurück gehen lassen…. die Nudeln mit Lachs in Hummersoße vorsichtig ausgedrückt….geschmacksneutral, das Bruschetta durchweicht, der Kellner war nicht in der Lage mit der höflich vorgetragenen Beschwerde umzugehen, hat uns mit Nichtachtung gestraft, es kam kein Angebot auf Alternative, kein Getränk aufs Haus, kein Gruß zum Abschied… eine ganz schlechte Erfahrung…. andere Gäste habe in der Zeit auch reklamiert und das Restaurant war kalt, zugig und es zog immer wieder Zigaretten Rauch durch die Räume, sehr schade… Ich hatte es dort auch schon anders erlebt…

Beautiful Italian flair, with romantic candlelight that makes it seem inviting and cozy thanks to the warm colors of the restaurant. Attention is paid to hygiene. Prices are reasonable. I think it's a shame that it took a while to prepare the food and that carpaccio is made with a sauce similar to hollandaise.

We made reservations for dinner for six! We had a comfortable table. The food selection is plentiful. Very fast service! Delicious food! It was a very nice, cozy evening! I would happily recommend the Mare e Monti restaurant!

I can really only recommend this restaurant. The food was perfect. I had grilled king prawns. They were really huge and super tasty 😋. There was also a crispy slice of white bread with tomato 🍅, garlic and olive oil. To eat then a mixed salad with a very tasty 😋 dressing. The shrimp came with potatoes and spinach. The restaurant has a very cozy atmosphere, lots of wood and beautiful old decorations. Clean toilet 🚽. The boss (very nice and friendly) serves himself. It was a lovely day all around at Mare e Monti. We were definitely not here for the last time. Thank you

The pizzas are huge and very tasty. The service is very attentive and friendly! The restaurant is very comfortably furnished, like an old alpine hut in the Dolomites.

Habe eine Kürbissuppe serviert bekommen, die sauer von angegorenem Kürbis war. Hatte danach keinen Appetit mehr und kann daher zu den anderen Gerichten nichts sagen. Pizza sah aber gut aus.

Sehr angenehm. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Bedienung sehr freundlich, aufmerksam aber dezent im Hintergrund.

Excellent Italian restaurant, a little off Schloßstrasse deep in the Steglitzer Kiez. Good cuisine including a daily menu has been available for decades. Naturally pizza is avaible, but they also offer a pasta, meat and fish selection too. A little more expensive (still affordable), but worth every Euro. Reservations are recommended, especially on weekends.

Liebes Mare e Monti Team, ich gehöre wirklich nicht zu der Gruppe Menschen, die aus Langeweile eine Bewertung schreiben. Da meine Frau aber die halbe Nacht nicht schlafen konnte und sich mehrmals übergeben musste, sehe ich mich gezwungen auch andere Gäste vor den Fischgerichten in ihrem Restaurant ausdrücklich zu warnen! Ich möchte nicht von einer Lebensmittelvergiftung sprechen, da ich kein Arzt bin. Aber ich stufe ihren Lachs als ungenießbar ein. Bitte denken sie in Zukunft an die Gesundheit ihrer Gäste bei der Auswahl und Verwendung ihrer Zutaten!!

Ausgezeichnete Küche, freundlicher Service, Preise sind angemessen War jetzt schon das zweitemal da.

Tolles gemütliches Restaurant mit sehr leckerem Essen (die Pizza ist wirklich sehr gut). Besonders hervorzuheben ist die hüttenartige Athmosphäre mit sehr schönem Holz im Innenraum. Die Beleuchtung könnte etwas gedimmter sein und auch die Kinderstühle könnten sauberer (Sitzauflagen) bzw. abwaschbar sein. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Insgesamt daher zu empfehlen!

Habe schon viele Pizzen in unterschiedlichen Restaurants probiert und muss sagen, dass diese zu den oberen gehört. Der Teig ist perfekt und schmeckt auch. Beim Belag wird auch nicht gespart und auch nicht übermäßig drauf getan, dass man nichts mehr schmeckt. Ich persönlich mag die Pizza mit Meeresfrüchten oder Pizza Napoli oder auch eine Calzone … Und wenn mal kein Pizzatag ist, dann kann ich die Lasagne empfehlen Ist zu meinem Lieblingsitaliener avanciert. Vor dem Essen wird I.d.R eine Bruschetta kostenlos serviert Toller aufmerksamer Service

Sehr freundlicher Service und immer wieder leckeres Essen ob Pizza oder alles frisch und schnell serviert. Die Atmosphäre im Restaurant ist sehr gemütlich und rustikal hier esse ich immer gerne wieder.

Eigentlich bräuchten sie 10 Sterne!! Hat dort Super geschmeckt und der Service war Super.Gerne gehen wir mit den Kollegen wieder dorthin. Vielen Dank noch einmal das sie für uns 9 Personen die Tische zusammen geschoben haben

Wir sind hier am 18.7.23 zufällig gelandet bei einem schönen lauen Sommerabend und konnten draußen sitzen. Wir hatten Pizza und Pasta und beides war hervorragend, Mussten jedoch eine kleine Weile auf unser Essen warten. Auch der Service war anfänglich spitze, später haben wir den Kellner kaum noch erwischt ☺️ Daher einen Stern Abzug. Wir kommen wieder.

Leckeres Essen, waren zum wiederholten mal dort mit unterschiedlichen Freunden . Alle begeistert.

Meine Bestellung war 1 Kristallweizen "ohne Zitrone".Leider kam es mit einer Scheibe Zitrone. Habe reklamiert und konnte Einblick zum Tresen nehmen, wo man -nur- die Zitronenscheibe aus dem Glas nahm. Nachdem ich das angesprochen hatte, bekam ich ein neues Bier...ohne Zitrone. Es war schon ärgerlich...

Wir sind gerne hier, von Angelo, unserem Lieblingskellner, wird man Kulinarisch verwöhnt. Siehe Foto, bekommt man nur auf rechtzeitige Anfrage (1 Kilo Büffelmozarella auf Nudeln in einer Tomatensauce)

Waren durch Zufall hier und erstaunt über eine so große Aufmerksamkeit und Freundlichkeit. Der Service war außergewöhnlich. Das Essen war lecker und auch Sonderwünsche waren überhaupt kein Problem. Vielen Dank dafür.
