Marafina in Berlin

I've been there very often and always found it good. The price-performance ratio is very, very good. So I prefer this shop to any kebab. The food is ideal for vegetarians, but it could be difficult for people with peanut allergies. I would recommend everyone to stop by and try it out.

Had a walk in the neighbourhood. You will see before 17h many things are closed. And than we found this place. For the breakfast it was too late. But we could have some other things. And a beer. Nice food. Friendly host. Sat next to the window. Thanks.

Best dine in döner experience in the area

Good quality food every single time! Super quick service. Sometimes there’s a little line on weekend dinner hours but I’ve never had to wait more than 15 minutes from arriving to receiving my food.

The peanut sauce in the chicken falafel pita kidnapped most other flavors. The falafel was top notch however. The bread was just okay, nothing special, the same with the salad.

Best place to try east african cuisine. 😋Everything is so delicious and price worthy. The peanut sauce is the hero of the dish. The quantity is also more than enough. Recommended to try chicken teller.

Place is god sent. Some people are born to make good food like this. I’ve ate kebab on a daily basis and this was the best. Simple no frills AFFORDABLE and big portion TASTY. Had my fair share of middle eastern kebab but these brothers take it up a notch with the peanut sauce. I also had the best Makali in my life here.

Wow. Succulent, creamy, salty, savoury heaven. The falafel was incredible. The veggies félt as if they just came out of the oven, yum. Loooved the peanut butter sauce. A very big, filling portion for only 5 euros! And vegan! Cool bathrooms too haha. The atmosphere was lively as well ♡ Mán I lóvé Berlin döners😻😻😻 I'm gonna miss this one😔

The food tastes very good and the price-performance ratio is excellent. But when we asked if we could pack our food, the cashier gave us an old, dirty aluminum packaging and we had to pack it ourselves.

Maybe falafel is not for me. I tried several falafel restaurants scored 4.7 or 4.8, all feel just okay for me…

Nice place. Unfortunately I was in a hurry and couldn't eat on site. Good food, vegan options. In particular the excellent peanut sauce. They don't accept card like many places in Berlin, only cash. You can take away (which I did). Next time I return to Berlin I'll try what it's like to eat there so I can give a real rating to the environment

The shop is an institution... the quality has been consistently good for years and the peanut sauce can't be beat. The staff is always friendly and in a good mood. I was once allowed to leave without paying because I didn't have any money with me and I only paid after an hour. I always enjoy coming back.

Best in Berlin! I’ve been to this place several times and every time I feel so satisfied with the delicious halloumi and peanut sauce. Most importantly, the price is so good considering the portion for each wrap. Also, the deco within is typical Friedrichshain 🤣 and they’ve got a toilette and larger sitting space than before. Don’t miss it out should you come to this district. (p.s. cash only but you’d find an atm right nearby)

Very good East African cuisine. Falafel, chicken, halloumi or vegan patty with fried vegetables (especially sweet potatoes) and salad in all combinations with peanut sauce or even spicy. It's good and cheap, but it's not a revelation. Solid. Ambience is simple, clean and ok. More of a snack bar than a restaurant. Self-service with beeper for pickup.

The place is too good for vegetarian and vegan options. They have peanut and brinjal sauces which are extremely tasty and they serve a good quantity which is filling and also they staff are polite. They do have a lot of drink options available. Overall a decent place to grab a quick bite.

Wir haben unser Essen mit nach Hause genommen. Hatte 3 Falaffel und 2 Haloumi Stücke auf dem Teller. Es gibt dazu Erdnusssoße Mangosoße und Joghurtsoße, Mais Eisbergsalat, sowie Kartoffeln und Süßkartoffeln. Habe das Gefühl das es eine neue Bewirtschaftung ist. Früher einen Tick besser gewesen. Aber schmeckt gut und wir sind öfter dort. Personal ist nett.

Mal was neues. Das Essen ist gut gewesen. Das Ambiente der Örtlichkeit entspricht eher einer Gaststätte, welche man früher in Bahnhöfen fand.

Es war mal mein Lieblingsfalafel, aber die Qualität als auch die Menge hat extrem nachgelassen. Hatte heute mal wieder einen und mir hat es nicht mehr geschmeckt. Die Verkäufer sind aber sehr nett.

Good everything, falafel, makali, etc. sandwiches are not big, but come with a delicious peanut sauce and are one of the few with pre-pandemic price. Cozy atmosphere (inside and outside) with some tables as well, which is rather rare. Service always great!

Ordered a Köfte Teller for dinner, it tastes so good, is healthy and makes you really full for long time. If you’re not hungry, just order a small bread and it tastes yummy too. My coworker took me here and i have to go back again because of the peanut sauce: creaminess and sourness that balance the meat and veggies. Staffs are EXTREMELY friendly and price is affordable for all budgets.

Inmitten vom Kiez liegt das Marafina - mit Sitzgelegenheiten für drinnen , draußen oder für To Go- alles frisch zubereitet , sehr gut gewürzt und sehr lecker

Ich nehme meistens Köfte Hallumni im Brot oder Tofu Köfte im Brot. Bisher immer lecker und immer frisch zubereitet. Die Mitarbeiter sind auch stets freundlich.

Das sudanesische Restaurant ist einfach großartig! Ich gehe seit Jahren dort essen und liebe es. Das Personal ist äußerst freundlich und aufmerksam. Man fühlt sich wirklich willkommen und gut aufgehoben. Die Auswahl an sudanesischen Gerichten ist beeindruckend. Das Restaurant bietet eine Vielzahl von traditionellen Speisen an, die alle mit frischen Zutaten zubereitet werden. Von würzigen Fleischgerichten bis hin zu köstlichen vegetarischen Optionen – hier findet jeder etwas nach seinem Geschmack.

Noch nie erlebt - drin bestellt am Tresen, direkt gezahlt, wie halt der Standard-Ablauf ist. Nach dem Essen Teller reingebracht, da wurde der Mitarbeiter (älter, Glatze) richtig wütend und meinte, ein paar aus unserer Gruppe hätten nicht gezahlt? Er versperrte uns den Ausgang. Dabei haben wir alle ganz normal nach der Bestellung an der Theke gezahlt (mit Trinkgeld). Nachdem er immer lauter wurde, habe ich ihm 20 Euro in die Hand gedrückt, ciao. Ehrlich... Wenn er sich selber und seiner Abrechnung nicht vertraut, soll er den Kunden vertrauen, und wenn er das nicht tut, ist er halt der Falsche für den Job. Lächerlich!

Essen lecker aber mir persönlich zu viel Erdnusssoße, liegt mir noch immer Stunden danach im Magen. Wartezeit war auch ok.

Essen mega gut, aber der Chef ist ein kleiner Betrüger. Schreit lauthals herum und kassiert das doppelte ab. Stellt sich sogar in die Tür bis man nicht nochmal bezahlt hat. Sorry, aber ciao!
