We were there for breakfast. Quiet and pleasant atmosphere. Friendly and attentive service. Good rich breakfast for two people. If you don't get full there, you won't get full anywhere. Delicious and pleasing to the eye. The restaurant is lavishly designed and there is a lot to see. We would be happy to come back if we get the chance.

The factory in Mönchengladbach is a real insider tip! Stylish location with LOTS of space – perfect for working and enjoying. Particularly impressive: the large coworking and event area on the 1st floor, which promotes creative exchange. And breakfast? The food was delicious and fit the atmosphere very well. The waiter was really extremely friendly and tried very hard. Unfortunately the gentleman at the checkout really ruined the morning. We had a voucher and wanted to redeem it when paying. The gentleman at the checkout then refused to accept it because the checkout could no longer process this voucher. The voucher was a good 2 years old, so it hadn't expired yet. At first he insisted on his position and said we should pay for everything. After phone calls, perhaps with the boss, you took pity on accepting half of the voucher; if you didn't accept this, you would have to pay for everything. We then accepted half because the gentleman wasn't interested in doing more for us and was becoming more and more short-tempered. We definitely won't visit this restaurant again.

Sometimes like this; sometimes like that. But this time the waiter completely picked us up at breakfast and wrapped us up in cotton wool and met almost our every wish. Everything was great but only because of the great service. That's exactly how it has to be. Always. I was happy to give a tip. We would love to come back for breakfast. But only Mr. X seems to be the best waiter in Gladbach and the surrounding area. Thanks

I ate the worst steak of 2024 today. I ordered it medium and it came raw and cold and it was tough. I went to the front because no waiter came and gave the food back. On the second attempt I got a steak where there was nothing wrong with the cooking point. Unfortunately the steak was streaked with tendons and tough like the one before. Then there was the fact that the heating had probably been turned down so low or had stopped working that it wasn't a pleasure to sit there either. It was observed that some people left their winter jackets and hats on. I can say that today was the last time I was there.

We were at the factory yesterday at lunchtime. We only drank a cappuccino. We then changed restaurants for dinner. The table we sat at had sticky, dirty edges and the cappuccino wasn't hot. For me, a small pastry is a must with coffee in a restaurant. The toilets were unclean, there was no toilet paper. Broken toilet seat in the women's toilet. This restaurant is NOT recommended. We definitely won't visit it again. A real shame in the heart of Mönchengladbach

I rarely write a review but after yesterday's experience I'm taking the time. I went there for dinner with friends. The first step was to the toilet and I would like to start there. The toilet smelled worse than any train station toilet, like pure urine stone, so much so that you couldn't breathe. You may lose your appetite right from the start. We ordered the drinks. For me it should be a Diet Coke. I got a Cola Zero. Which is basically not a problem. However, I also expect this to be pointed out. For my friend it was supposed to be sparkling water, she got still water. After we ordered our food, the waitress came to our table again and informed us that we had run out of mayonnaise. It was 5 p.m. and therefore incomprehensible to me. A supermarket is practically right around the corner. Since I didn't feel like it anymore, I canceled my meal and in retrospect I'm glad. My girlfriend ordered a rump steak with fries for €26. When ordering, they didn't ask what level of doneness she wanted. In the end she got a 1 cm thick piece of leather rag, overcooked and full of tendons and therefore inedible. When my friend complained about her food, the waitress went to the boss and told us that he was giving a six euro discount. So actually €20 for a fries without mayonnaise. Only when we asked to speak to the boss personally did he come to our table after some time and explained to us that he had ongoing costs and that it was really a rump steak. He could show us the packaging. We should make him an offer about how much we would be willing to pay for it. He finally reluctantly reduced the price by 11 euros. The discussion with the boss, the confused (yet friendly) service staff and the smell of the toilet prevent me from visiting this restaurant again. Absolutely no recommendation.

Previously I would have given 5/5 stars. But the last 2-3 visits were just bad. Everything was a bit dusty, the service wasn't particularly well trained and unfortunately the food (and the "homemade" house iced teas) turned out pretty bad. Since the water damage, the worm seems to have been in there, which is a shame. I really enjoyed eating there, but I no longer recommend it.

We were there for the first time and loved the atmosphere, it's really nice. However, we were very irritated that no one was there except us on a Thursday evening. We decided on tapas and the prices are quite high. When the food came, we were shocked by the portions. Grape leaves cost around €9.00 there and you are served two small grape leaves. The other tapas were similar. The food was nothing exceptional, tasted like ready-made food. Unfortunately very disappointing.

The breakfast is an insult to the eye and the palate!!!The cheapest, worst rolls+old bread and, as a cake, hard baguette strips.The cold cuts: "PAPRIKALYONER"+small corners of cheap Goud (Camenbert was on the menu)+small round salami u a cream cheese for the poor served with a garnish of 3 lettuce leaves to tomato and cucumber. The fruit quark was missing the fruits.. (probably too expensive) were replaced with a few nuts!! Terrible poor quality everything!! It also reflects the cleanliness of the restaurant...not a single table without crumbs and clean...we complained...the toilet wasn't clean either and absolutely ALL of them in the women's toilet were without toilet paper!! The service worker was alone and had to prepare everything herself etc. (the number of guests was manageable). The next time I went to the toilet she tried to make sure I had toilet paper and filled it up. She was also generally very friendly and nice. Unfortunately, it doesn't help the fact that the quality of the food is at the lowest level. And I'm not just talking about the breakfast... Just the ambience looks great... We won't be coming back and we don't recommend it at all! Just too good other locals that really put time and effort into the quality, preparation and cleanliness. A shame as a restaurateur to use the title delicatessen as advertising...

The service was incredibly bad. There were five of us and the waitress completely forgot two orders and also the cream we ordered for the cake. Separate payment was not possible. Apparently she doesn't have time for that, we should do the math ourselves. The cake was dried out and the chai latte was ok.

I have visited this restaurant several times and have always been very satisfied. The atmosphere is unique and the food was always delicious. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I will always come back!

I may not be a regular, but I often visit the factory when I'm in Mönchengladbach. I like the shop and think it's a shame that the people of Gladbach don't know how lucky they are. The food was always great 👍🏼, the breakfast was delicious and even if you just want to drink a coffee after a stressful shopping tour, you feel good. Decoration and atmosphere stylish. Love it. Just one drawback. The service staff should be much more present, attentive and relaxed. 😉 Looking forward to next time 🙏🏼

Yesterday we visited this restaurant. The atmosphere is really nice, very nice decor. But unfortunately I can't say anything good about the food, drinks and staff. Let's start with food. I ordered pasta with shrimp and it wasn't pasta but ordinary unfinished spaghetti with ordinary cooked shrimp sprinkled with parmesan cheese. no sauce, no personality to the dish. My friend ordered some kind of meat in a flatbread and they brought him very fatty sausages in a flatbread, after which he got heartburn. The drinks seemed to come from a bottle and the drink wasn't of the best quality; Plus, they're not cold. And when my friend finally checked out, the waitress couldn't calculate our bill, she was constantly confused, and when he tried to help her by bringing her money with no change, she said he was an idiot. I don't recommend it. We won't come again.

Hair and insects in salad... We were eating there and my friend found a hair in her salad. We had it returned and didn't have to pay for it. As I continued to eat my salad, I also found a long hair and actually an insect crawling around funny. We were completely disgusted and just wanted to leave and asked for the bill. They said we had to pay for the second salad. When we discussed that we had found a hair there too, they said she had to go back to the kitchen to sort it out. The first time it took quite a while and we didn't want to wait, so I just paid. I am extremely disappointed with the service and the way the situation was handled.

Caution: Don't let the positive reviews deceive you. Our visit was a disappointment. Both salads we ordered had hair in them, and to make matters worse, one even had a bug. You would think the restaurant would be apologetic but despite the appalling experience, we were still charged for one of the salads. Absolutely unbelievable, I am seriously considering reporting them to the health department.

Basically a very nice restaurant. Unfortunately, I haven't had so much luck with the food on many occasions. Same today. On the menu under salads it says: Cesar - mixed seasonal salad, chicken strips, anchovy dressing. I was looking forward to a traditional Caesar salad. Even if the reference to seasonal lettuce meant that we weren't necessarily hoping for the classic romaine lettuce. But I thought that at least the dressing would be similar to the original. Unfortunately no. The salad had no dressing of its own, only a generous amount of chili dressing was draped over the chicken strips. The lettuce used was iceberg. Since it's in season all year round, at least it wasn't a lie. Otherwise there were 2 cucumber and 2 tomato slices on the edge. Looked more like a garnish than a salad ingredient. Maybe the salad was still fundamentally tasty, but it wasn't at all what I expected. I also told the staff this. My complaint was received kindly and I was offered to order something else. Which I did. The tapas variants that I ordered instead of the salad were ok (Albondigas and fried squid rings). I would have liked an aioli with the squid rings, but it was more like tartar sauce. But that is a matter of taste. A woman sat down at the next table and asked about the lunch menu. After the first waitress (I think she was still in the training phase) said there wouldn't be any, the more experienced waitress came over and showed the woman the offer on the menu. It's called Lunch Express and consists of a tapas and a lemonade. What kind of lemonade this is is not specified. When the woman asked if she could have water instead of lemonade, she was told no. It would only work as it was written on the card. The woman then politely thanked me and left the restaurant. I don't understand why it wasn't possible to exchange the soda for water. Especially not if you end up alienating potential customers and possibly losing. Not to do the staff any injustice with my criticism: they were always friendly and very accommodating. They do not make the decisions about what is on the menu and what choices are available to guests. Conclusion: if the salad had been on the menu as a seasonal salad with chicken strips and chili dressing, I would have had nothing to complain about. Although there was a selection of possible dressings I could choose from. But without any hint and with the name Cesar, different expectations arise. If the choice of drinks at the Lunch Express wasn't so limited to lemonade, but instead lemonade or... (of course only drinks with the same/similar cost factor), the factory would definitely have another guest now. I don't understand why this is limited to an unspecified lemonade.

My girlfriend and I have come here from time to time in the past. Unfortunately, last time I noticed that it looked pretty dingy. Dirty floor (not from a day), stained seats, rotten flowers in the boxes in front of the restaurant...Really not inviting. A pity

Unfortunately, my burger was very well cooked and therefore dry and cold. I let the staff know and they only informed the kitchen. Unfortunately nothing more happened. I would have appreciated a small gesture of apology. The rest of the food was good and the service was great. The atmosphere is really cool, it's fun to sit there.

Went past this restaurant by chance. The ambience is really nice, high ceilings. Lots of images and light. Tapas and Mediterranean cuisine are on the menu. Unfortunately we waited almost 40 minutes for 4 different tapas and the drinks also came a little late. The service is friendly and very attentive, it could well be that it was just busy. The food was partly lukewarm but tasty. Super flavorful and fresh. The toilets are clean in the basement and can also be reached via an elevator. It's delicious and casual, just right for a small casual meal. Price/performance fits.

Food was good. The service didn't know their own menu and was more interested in playing on their cell phones or talking to their colleagues at the counter. Guests were left to your own devices. That's what happens when no skilled workers but only assistants want to pay. A pity.

Ein Restaurant was sich vom Interieur von anderen sehr unterscheidet. Schwerlastregale dienen als Raumteiler und mit viel alten Sachen, wie z.B. alte Kannen, Küchenzubehör, Tajine usw. bestückt. Wir hatten ein Buffet bestellt und waren total begeistert. Hackbällchen, Couscous, Rinderbraten, Rotkohl, Klöße, Salate usw. Vorab eine leckere Brokkolisuppe, anschließend Obstsalat, Cheesecake etc. Alles wirklich köstlich. Da es so reichhaltig war, wurden und Dosen zur Verfügung gestellt, so daß wir noch "dogybags" mitnehmen konnten.

Das Essen war in Ordnung, könnte jedoch besser sein. Die Atmosphäre war jedoch sehr gemütlich.

Der Kaffee und der Kuchen waren sehr lecker und die Bedienung sehr nett 🙃 der Laden ist außergewöhnlich und cool dekoriert.

Leckere israelisch/arabische Küche. Es gibt auch ein paar mitteleuropäische Gerichte.

Bis jetzt waren wir immer zum tollem Frühstück da, heute mal spontan zum Abend. Grillteller und der Falafel-Salat waren geschmacklich sehr sehr gut angestimmt. Auch die Zigarren-Röllchen mit Spinat und Feta gefüllt sehr lecker, dazu eine kleine Portion Salat auf dem Teller. Bedienung war super freundlich und auf wünsche wurde eingegangen ohne wenn und aber. Das Essen war insgesamt lecker und optisch schön angerichtet. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis passt. Die Getränke sind etwas teuer. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön und außergewöhnlich, toll auch das Hörbuch was in den Waschräumen abgespielt wird. Das Servicepersonal freundlich, braucht aber noch etwas Schulung. Essen von anderen Gästen stand minutenlang am Pass und die Bedienung ging mehrmals dran vorbei, dann als das Essen die Bestellerin erreichte fehlte das Messer und die Kundin wartete wieder einige Minuten. Da braucht es etwas geschultes Auge und Sensibilität für den Gast. Insgesamt aber eine Bereicherung für das gastronomische Angebot gerade in der Innenstadt.

In der Gesamtbewertung einen Stern weniger, da die Speisekarte leider sehr reduziert ist. Die Speisekarte auf der Homepage ist viel umfangreicher. Aber das was es gab war sehr lecker. Und vielen Dank für den freundlichen Service.

Eine kleine Perle in der Innenstadt - absolut zu empfehlen! Gerade mit Baby/Kind und wenn man eine vegetarische oder vegane Option sucht

Sehr entspannte Atmosphäre und wunderbares Essen. Das Essen ist sehr vielseitig, wurden dort mit zwei Vegetarien mehr als satt. Aber auch für Fleischesser war etwas auf der Karte zu finden. Allgemein ist die Karte sehr außergewöhnlich mit vielen Kombinationen die ich so vorher noch nicht gehört habe. Ich bin aber froh sie probiert zu haben. Absolut zu empfehlen ist das Belagen Menü, dort werden viele kleine Portionen verschiedener Gerichte auf dem Tisch verteilt hingestellt und jeder nimmt sich das, was er mag. Wem das aber zu bunt ist, kann sich auch ganz klassisch ein eigenes Hauptgericht bestellen. Die Einrichtung ist kunterbunt und durcheinander, was diesem Restaurant seinen ganz eigenen Charme verleiht. Im Hintergrund läuft leise, ruhige Musik die einen direkt runter bringt und man kann den Alltagsstress hinter sich lassen, wodurch man sich voll und ganz auf das entspannte gemeinsame Essen konzentrieren kann. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich, ruhig und hilfsbereit. Z.b. hatten wir wirklich noch recht viel übrig und uns wurde direkt angeboten, die Reste mitzunehmen wofür uns auch verschiedene Optionen präsentiert wurden. Fazit: Es war mehr als lohnenswert die eigene Bubble mal zu verlassen und sich auf neue Geschmäcker einzulassen.
