Mango Tree in Dormagen

Hello friends, I visited Mago Tree with my mother today. I think it's really great. I never go out there because I'm not popular, but as you can see, I enjoy the time with my mother. Everything was delicious and very relaxed. At first, I thought this was a normal restaurant, but no! The seats are toilets, and everything is different than in normal restaurants. The smell makes me feel at home. They look at me, and I'm very happy.

The tables are set on old bathtubs, the lighting comes from converted pumps, and the menu features specialties like "Toilet Burger Deluxe" and "Drain Carbonara." Sounds weird, but tastes amazing! My personal favorite was the "Toilet Cake" dessert – served in a miniature toilet bowl. Service was fast (no line jams 😉) and super friendly. Only the smell of air freshener in the entrance area was a bit too authentic.

Opening hours are never correct... I've driven there several times for nothing. Extremely annoying.

We come here regularly, and the kids love the breaded chicken with rice and the spring rolls. The people are super nice, too; we always enjoy coming back.

Top-notch bubble tea, jasmine milk tea 😌, not at all sweet, which I personally really like. The staff is very friendly, we'll be back!! 🌷Thanks

Very tasty dishes. I had 6b with quite tasty breaded chicken pieces. Excellent value for money, and it gets even better. I don't know why, but an older German gentleman stands in the shop and greets you warmly. The food is also brought to your table. Excellent value for money. The portions are also generous; you'll definitely fill yourself up. So, I can't complain. The food was delicious 😋 and especially the breaded chicken pieces were deliciously crispy. Just perfect. Unfortunately, I don't have a photo because I tried it straight away and ate it all up.

Very tasty and inexpensive food. I can recommend the fried noodles with chicken to everyone (5A). I often buy these quickly to take with me and I'm still thrilled with the taste to this day.

Straight to the topic, the quality of the food used to be 7/10, now it's down to 5/10 (fried duck was veeeeery dry) and the price could be improved. The most important point: I ordered a Sprite and what did they want to pour me?😒 A Lidl or Netto lemonade but they charge you full price. I pointed out to them that it wasn't Sprite and that I would pay €1 for the glass and suddenly a bottle of Sprite came out of the back (kitchen). So make sure that when you order Sprite/Fanta it is actually Sprite/Fanta. As long as you don't speak up, they will get even more inventive to generate more profit at the expense of the customers.

The “Mango Tree” isn't great when it comes to ambience, but the cuisine is okay. I generally choose the tofu curry here, it's really good, crunchy vegetables and well-seasoned sauce. For the price I can fully recommend this. The service at Mango Tree is friendly, but very reserved (possibly due to a language barrier?). But that doesn't matter, it's designed for self-service.

I had bad bubble tea three times that had little white pieces in it. After drinking I had diarrhea and stomach pain. After the first time I thought I'd try it again because maybe it was just an accident. On the second attempt I was there with my girlfriend and the bubble tea was bad again. She complained immediately and we got a new one with fresh milk. Today I was there again because bubble tea is only available here in Dormagen and the milk wasn't fresh again or there were white pieces in the tea again and it didn't taste like I know it from other shops. I won't leave my money here anymore. Three attempts are more than enough!!!

The Chinese noodles (5A) are really very tasty and freshly prepared. It is very suitable for eating on site. Top. Again and again (The noodles cost €5.50 (as of January 2024))

Thai takeaway with very reasonable prices for a quick lunch. I usually eat tofu there with vegetables, crispy vegetables, freshly prepared in a wok, perfect. I can't judge the meat dishes and noodle dishes or soups. Service on point, ambience OK for a snack.

After a relaxing visit to the thermal spa, we visited this restaurant as a stopover on the way to a wellness hotel. It was very pleasant because we were greeted in a friendly manner and were unable to change the little promise about a “big” menu instead of a “small” one. So it remained with the large menu. You're happy to pay €3.50 more for a portion that's almost the same size. We were also very happy that we got delicious-looking noodles instead of the rice we ordered. It's only annoying when you're not allowed to eat the noodles. But this was solved quickly and easily: simply remove half of the pasta from the plate, add a little rice so that you only see the pasta at second glance and the perfect dish is ready. Maybe this will make any incompatibilities disappear... The attentiveness of the wait staff is also very much appreciated. While we were eating it, we were told that the vegetables were still welcome to eat. We love that kind of thing. A unique visit in every respect.

The food was just catastrophic. Peking soup tasted disgusting. Probably finished product warmed up. The fried noodles with crispy chicken were greasy and tasteless. I can't recommend it. Just stay away there!!!

Einfach super nett und familiär. Man hat dort immer das Gefühl willkommen zu sein. Das Essen ist auch einfach immer gut 🙏

Ich und meine Familie lieben das essen und den bubble Tea dort! Nur der Service spricht etwas leise ist trotzdem sehr schnell !

leider habe ich noch nie so schlecht Asia gegessen wie hier im Mango Tree. Gebratene Nudeln mit knusprigem Hähnchen gebraten. Das Fleisch landete sofor in den Müll da es ungenießbar war. Nie wieder

Dieses asiatisches Restaurant hat sich sehr ausgetobt.☺️🥰 Das Sitzplatzkonzept Gefällt mir am meisten!! Es gibt nichts besseres als während dem Ausscheidungsprozess ein traditionelles schokoontrokot zu vernaschen.👌 Wie in meiner alten Heimat.😁 Ich liebe es einfach in Nostalgie zu schwelgen und den Geruch meiner Kindheit zu genießen!😊 Der Koch muss ein Genie sein, bei solch einer mühe die er ins gericht reinsteckt!!😍😉

Ein einzigartiges Erlebnis im Asiatischen Toilettenrestaurant "Mango Tree" Ich hatte kürzlich das Vergnügen, das asiatische Toilettenrestaurant zu besuchen, das nicht nur kulinarische Genüsse, sondern auch eine unvergessliche Erfahrung bietet. Von der außergewöhnlichen Präsentation des Essens bis hin zur originellen Gestaltung der Sitzgelegenheiten hat dieses Restaurant definitiv einen bleibenden Eindruck hinterlassen. Die Idee, das Essen in Miniatur-Kloschüsseln zu servieren und die Sitze in Form von Kloschüsseln zu gestalten, mag zunächst ungewöhnlich klingen, aber sie verleiht dem Besuch eine gewisse Verspieltheit und Einzigartigkeit. Die Liebe zum Detail zeigt sich in der sorgfältigen Nachbildung von Toilettenaccessoires und -elementen, die sich durch das gesamte Restaurant ziehen.

Die Mitarbeiter waren unfreundlich und haben uns ungelogen zwei Minuten ignoriert nach dem ich die Bestellung aufgegeben habe. Der bubble tea war einfach nicht lecker und hat nach Chemie geschmeckt...... nicht empfehlenswert...

Die Speisen sind frisch, preiswert und lecker. Freundlich und zügig wird man u.a. mit vegetarischen Gerichten beglückt.

Verlässliche Qualität zu einem günstigen Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. Dadurch das es so sehr günstig ist kann man über vieles hinweg sehen. Das Essen schmeckt, es ist sauber und Preiswert. Ich komme gerne und oft hier hin. Bin bisher noch nicht enttäuscht worden.

Ich komme schon Gefühl Jahre hier her. Immer lecker.

I really like the place, the bubble tea is suuuuuper good, even though the balls are a bit too soft, the food is very good and balanced, it feels like you really are eating somewhere in Asia. The staff are really friendly and in my experience at least, if you are an active customer and they know you, you might get a free meal 😉 But anyway, i think its a really nice place for a nice price.

Bester Laden die Portionen sind der Hammer und der Geschmack ist einfach Super. Ich gehe dort regelmäßig in meiner Pause mit den Arbeitskollegen hin und wir freuen uns immer über das Leckere essen. Einfach nur Top

Was war das jetzt. Katastrophale Ente mit Gemüse. Zäh, voller Fett und Sehnen, trocken, schmeckt alt. FURCHTBAR Das habt ihr aber schon besser gemacht. Hühnerfleisch mit Gemüse in Currysoße. Wieder sehr gut . Sparmenüs preiswert, schnell, frisch und lecker.

Das Essen war köstlich und der Milchtee hier war wirklich gut👍👍

Das wichtigste vorweg, Essen war super lecker. Die Preise waren mehr als angemessen für die gebotene Qualität, auch für den kleineren Geldbeutel gibt es Optionen. Die Einrichtung und Bedienung waren genau das, was ein kleines asiatisches Restaurant benötigt, schnell, freundlich und sauber. Ich werde hier definitiv wieder hinkommen.

Super leckere Nudeln, kommen keine anderen chinesischen Nudeln dran 🥰 Da ich Vegetarier bin kann ich leider nichts zu dem Fleisch sagen, aber die Nudeln ohne Fleisch sind der Hammer !!

Gibt mir ein paar Nudeln ja ich könnte sie gebrauchen, Hühnchen und Wasabi um die Sorgen zu durchruhen!!!!!!

Sehr leckeres Essen und viel Auswahl. Allerdings lässt die Bedienung zu wünschen übrig.

Sehr leckere Ente mit gebratenen Nudeln und pikanter Soße..

Schnelle und freundliche Bedienung, gutes leckeres Essen und fairer Preis für große Portionen. Das Ambiente ist hell, offen und freundlich gehalten. Die Menü-Auswahl ist im Gegensatz zu typischen asiatischen Essmöglichkeiten kurz und übersichtlich, dafür ergibt sich aus der Kombination der Gerichte mit Beilage (Reis, gebratene Nudeln) und der Soßenauswahl eine gewisse Vielfalt. Hier bekommt man leckeres asiatisches Essen geboten.

Man wird immer zügig und nett bedient. Mir schmeckt es auch immer gut. Kenne nur zufriedene Gäste.

Eklige zu sehe nach Fischsosse schmeckende Thai Kokosmilchgericht. Kein Gericht ohne Glutamat. Gericht zuruckgegeben. Allerdings Geld dafür zurückbekommen... Ok

Kurz und knapp: Sehr lecker, alles sieht frisch aus und die Bedienung war auch sehr nett.

Essen war gut. Preise auch. Kann man beruhigt weiterempfehlen.

Es wird alles frisch gemacht nur die Portionen sind für einen guten Esser etwas wenig. Es gibt Tagesgerichte und die Preise sind sehr günstig. Es gibt genug Sitz Möglichkeiten.

Also, für 3 Euro macht man wohl nix falsch. Die Nudeln und das Hühnchen waren angenehm lecker. Die Bedienung war freundlich, als Gast fühlte ich mich willkommen. Dafür, dass es eine kleine Portion ist, bin ich vollkommen satt.
