Really very good Italian restaurant, with fast, friendly service in a very nice, historic atmosphere. Price/performance is absolutely fine for the quality offered. The pizza is excellent and tastes 100% like in Italy. Absolutely recommended! I'd love to come back.

Authentic Italian cuisine – a real highlight! A truly exceptional restaurant if you're looking for authentic Italian cuisine. Restaurants like this are unfortunately rare in the greater Stuttgart area, but this one is definitely one of the best for me! Whether vegan, fish, or meat – here you'll find only traditional, delicious dishes prepared with love. I come at least twice a month and am always impressed. Clearly one of the best Italian restaurants in the region!

Best pizza in Plieningen. Much, much better than the opposite ;) Also much more comfortable, better service, extremely attentive and friendly hospitality. Over there it's always cramped, loud and improvised. It is pleasant, warm and has a beautiful interior here. There are also delicious alternatives to pizza such as risotto and pasta.

Very nice staff, a fantastic starter plate, great main course. You feel welcome there. The boss takes care of himself and this is noticeable everywhere. The drinks were nice and cold. I'm not surprised that the restaurant was fully booked. The only drawback is the parking situation, but this is certainly difficult to solve. All in all: I'll be back!

We are regulars at Mangia e Bevi. Every visit is a highlight. We were there today for my parents' birthday. The appetizer platter, the pizzas and also the pasta were great as always. For us the best address in the surrounding area! 🙏 Thank you

We had pasta with seafood and pasta with cheese sauce and pepper ( grand padana)The "fruits" were mainly clams. The cheese would have easily been enough for 3 portions. Wow. The buffata we had as a starter was delicious. Wine was good. The young man who brought the food was a bit confused, but super friendly.

We have been there several times and have always been thrilled. Unfortunately, yesterday was a disappointment. Vitello was very tough and hard to enjoy and the main course, il maccherone "ai porcini", was unfortunately too oily and had few porcini mushrooms. There was no dessert because the service was overwhelmed or too busy. There was no salt and pepper, oil or balsamic at the table and was only reluctantly brought over. It's a shame, I thought I had found a new good Italian restaurant, I've rarely been so disappointed after visiting a restaurant

In diesem Fachwerkhaus befindet sich dieses Ristorante Pizzeria, welches sich unweit vom Flughafen und dem Messegelände befindet. Typisches italienisches Ambiente. Leider die Innentemperatur etwas kühl. Das leckere Essen wird vom Chef persönlich serviert. Auch muss an der Kasse bezahlt werden. Reservation ist empfehlenswert.

This Ristorante Pizzeria is located in this half-timbered house, which is not far from the airport and the exhibition center. Typical Italian atmosphere. Unfortunately the inside temperature was a bit cool. The delicious food is served personally by the boss. You also have to pay at the checkout. Reservation is recommended.

Happy owners, Fregola Sarda with wild boar was very good, Spaghetti Frutti di Mare was also very tasty.

I wouldn't recommend. Bread was brought to our table, as is usual in all restaurants. We didn't order it. In the end they charged €7 for it, which has never happened to me in my 34 years. We were charged for unopened bottles that were already on the table without us ordering them, unopened! Very strange, so you walked out of the restaurant as if you had stolen something, but you gave a big tip, there were 10 of us and there was definitely a tip of over €30. Very rude and very unpleasant and very unnecessary and disproportionate. And of course we didn't pay for bread or the unopened bottles. ——- § 241a BGB

Habe den Personalengpass gehört, aber nicht gemerkt. Hier war der Chef für alles da. Zumindest machte der, der alles im Griff hatte, den Eindruck. Service war top, Pizza kam schnell und war lecker. Ambiente ist super nett und sicher eine Empfehlung.

I have been a regular customer for 6 years and whether outside on the cozy terrace in the all-city atmosphere in summer or in the rustic half-timbered house in winter - I have spent many wonderful hours here. The boss is direct, knows his craft and gives advice in every situation. The wine list is extremely extensive and the food tempts you to feast. The pizzas in particular (my favorite the Capricciosa) are perfect. Airy edge, delicate base, fresh topping. Add a strong Barbera and the evening is perfect. Thank you for consistently good quality over the years.

The pizzas are really top notch and the pasta selection is also very tasty. If the noodles weren't up to scratch, everyone tried to make it according to the guest's wishes. We have been guests for years and always enjoy coming back.

Delicious dinner experience. We found this restaurant after landing from the airport around dinner time. For a Tuesday around 6:30pm, the restaurant was not busy. We were seated quickly. Staff was very attentive, friendly, and service was quick. We loved our food. The tortellini was creamy and delicious, while my husband got the lasagna. It’s not your usual lasagna you get places, as this one was with a white/cream sauce. The flavors together were so different, it just worked really well together. We were able to pay by card. Limited parking outside, with a few street spots available. We would easily stop back if we were in the area or flying in/out of Stuttgart airport!

Bedienung und Essen war toll, einzig die Speisen sollten wirklich heiss serviert werden. Vor- und Hauptgang waren leider nur warm nicht heiss.

We spontaneously went there for dinner on Monday and every table on the terrace was occupied and later I knew why: the food was top! Wine recommendation as well and the service was really friendly, very attentive and quick. I'll be back!

I was in the area for about 12 days. Stayed near the airport. I found this gem 2 bus stops away. It is absolutely phenomenal! I ate there 4 or 5 days!

Were there on Saturday evening at 6 p.m. The food for both of them wasn't convincing, one pasta was only lukewarm, after complaining it wasn't much better, the lasagne consisted of hard pasta sheets and totally soggy ones. Thanks, that's it.

So slow that I'm leaving this review before eating. Expensive meal at that. However, it is still very good and controlled. My gnocchi were succulent without being too heavy and their very appearance shows the culinary mastery of the cook.

Authentic Italian Restaurant! Very tasty food! The rabbit ragout is highly recommended. Original Italian cuisine and not the Germanized version. Definitely not the last time.

The atmosphere in the restaurant was just very nice. The decor was tasteful and inviting, and the lighting created a pleasant, cozy atmosphere. It was the perfect place to spend a relaxing evening. The food was also excellent. I can particularly recommend the spaghetti “Frutti di Mare”. Another highlight was the pistachio ice cream, which was simply delicious - creamy, intense in taste and a wonderful end to the meal. Overall, I can highly recommend the restaurant. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Nice restaurant, but unfortunately very overpriced (e.g. 0.75l of water for 7€!). Drinks and bruschetta were super tasty. Pizzas were okay, but the tomato sauce unfortunately tasted too sugary and thus dragged down the taste. Service was friendly and quick.

With terrace. Half-timbered house. Well maintained. Chef serves with! Was open on Monday evening and quite full. Vitello Tonato was great. Sophia Loren pasta with mozzarella and risengs, tagliatelle, some very fine garlic. Prices medium. Great service everyone! friendly. Located centrally on the street.

The unfriendliness is extensive here. You do not need to come here with children. The boss is arrogant, disrespectful and rude. Customer-oriented does not exist in Italian. Not recommendable.

If you are looking for a good Italian just outside of Stuttgart, you should definitely try Mangia e bevi. As a guest you will be looked after in a friendly manner and both the food and drinks are impeccable. The ambience in an old half-timbered house underlines everything. The prices are appropriate for the quality of the dishes.

Am disappointed. Pizza base was black. I ordered a tuna pizza but there was almost no tuna on the pizza. A pity.

We went there for dinner two nights when we were at the R+T fair and the food was spectacular. We tried both the mixed salad and the arugula salad and we also tried the gnocchi (the best I've ever had), the risotto which was delicious and the lasagna which was delicious. And not only was the food super good but the service was great. One of the waiters was especially friendly. Super recommended site.

We ate here last night as part of a trade fair in Stuttgart and were thrilled. The food was really delicious, the service was very friendly and the atmosphere was great. Really quaint and cozy. It's definitely not the last time we've been there, the next trade fair will definitely come.

We were in town here for work, did eat a very lovely dinner but in the end the guy asked for a tip. Not normally but very anger, but weve had the card from work so we couldnt tip him. So we cant tip him because of work. In the end he threathend us if we came back he will brake my college his bones. It was a perfect dinner but the end was terrifying.
