I'm only writing this review because I'm really horrified. It started with me ordering a mixed meat kebab. Because the chicken wasn't cooked through, I asked the gentleman at the checkout for a lamb kebab. When he finished taking the order, payment came. Unfortunately, the "high-tech" coin counter inexplicably swallowed a lot more money than the food cost. In retrospect, however, that was not the decisive point for the negative criticism. When it comes to choosing salad and sauce, you quickly notice that it is an undercooked chicken kebab. Of course I brought this up, but found that even the man at the checkout denied all this nonsense. Even though I ordered FROM HIM. I must have ordered a chicken kebab. I wasn't offered a new kebab. Why... I'm just a customer. Of course the kebab was not eaten. As mentioned, the meat was not cooked through. I didn't feel like getting foodborne illness either. Horrible experience.

The kebab is okay, not outstanding. The sauces are pretty average, as are the toppings. Since I don't eat meat, I can't judge the quality. What really bothers me is the poor hygiene in the store. The tables are barely or not at all wiped down and the toilets stink. The vegetables and sauces simply look unhygienic. The staff are average, not friendly but not unpleasant either.

There were few tables. You may have a hard time finding a place to sit because it was crowded, but I thought the doner kebab was quite delicious. I especially liked the bread.

Service is unfriendly, spoons of salad and sauces are simply thrown back into the bowl. Had a world champion plate and a Pomdöner. Lamb was okay, fries were still raw.Pom kebab was cold because it was made then other customers in between and only then my kebab plate. Customers are insulted in Turkish (unfortunately I understand it too). Next time I think it would be better to go to someone else who still puts his heart and soul behind his shop.

To be honest, there are so many original Turkish kebab shops that I don't understand why a former footballer has to open a kebab chain in the Rhineland. I myself was once at Mangal in Kalk and never again. The food wasn't tasty, the service was, well I'd say everyone who works there thinks they're Poldi and the coziness and cleanliness leave a lot to be desired. Then I didn't understand why you get plastic cutlery that keeps breaking off. Poldi would like to say that we live in the age of sustainability. The Cologne young US Bergheim. Go to Nimet or Saana because Saana in particular has an oriental fair. And the hygiene in many Turkish food stalls generally leaves a lot to be desired, but that's just the difference between cultures. My tip Saana on Kalker Hauptstrasse, especially if you want to eat comfortably with an oriental flair, which in my opinion is absolutely recommended.

Normally I love the kebab from Mangal but the shop in Kalk is not only unhygienic, the staff is not friendly at all. We were passing through and visited their restaurant with my colleagues. The meat was very juicy and we were also very impressed with the sauces. So the taste was really, really good. The Mangal kebab in lime has become inedible. The meat is inedible, partially burnt and has no taste. The bread is terribly weak and not crispy like it used to be. Nothing can be expected from the staff. You can tell that they don't feel like it. My stomach is telling me definitely soon. I can only recommend everyone to avoid the mangal in lime completely. Nobody sees us there anymore. Likewise the vegetables. We actually didn't want to eat half tomatoes and cucumbers. The sauce was so little that you couldn't even taste it.

I usually really like the kebab and this time, as usual, I took a detour from the A3 on my way from Holland to Frankfurt to eat at Mangal. Unfortunately this time everything was different than usual. The chicken meat was pink (raw). The service was also very bad and unfriendly. Now we all have a stomach ache and I won't set foot in this Mangal branch again.

I haven't had such a bad kebab at Mangal for years. First kebab costs €7.90 and small bread doesn't even look like a baguette, second bread is so sweet you notice it's cookies and not kebab bread

Disappointing! Veal or chicken?! The meat was wobbly, weirdly soft and cut way too big, the bread was so soft it tore apart. I used to enjoy eating kebab here, but after visiting today I probably won't go there again.

The bread was soft, the meat was cold, the extra sheep's cheese was not in the kebab. Paying 8.90 euros for this is not possible. Then it's better to go back to the smaller shops that make an effort.

15€ wasted Ordered a kebab (chicken with extra cheese) for €9 and a lahmacun for €5.50 from Wolt. Both arrived cold and a lot of the meat was very gristly. The extra cheese was NOT on it and the whole kebab had a very mild taste. Lahmacun was completely cold.

I bought a takeaway kebab from Mangal today and would like to leave a review. Unfortunately the quality is no longer what it once was. The bread was very dry, the meat didn't taste good anymore, and the sauces were sometimes overflowing. Overall, Mangal lacks quality. I prefer to go to the old, established kebab shops that have a good reputation. The name Mangal once stood for quality, but in recent times it has waned considerably. I also observed that an employee picked up some meat with a fork and ate it while working. This is neither polite nor hygienic. In addition, the employees hardly speak any German. When you ask a question, they often only understand the basics like "doner kebab with salad" or "without salad". For everything else there are communication problems. You should know that.

They wanted to charge 45 euros when paying for three things, then they pointed this out to them several times and then they reduced the price to 25 70 euros under process. This was probably not the first time that they had asked for a price if people weren't paying attention.

Overall the food was pricey as well as inedible. Podolski's meat was dry and shriveled up. Veggies were not fresh at all. And don't even get me started about their condiments... I've had better doner for 30% less and was able to actually eat my food without a gag reflex. The stuff needs some education on proper customer service. Stay away! ALSO on a lighter note: I have just received a complaint from the owner via Google asking me to change or delete my review OR ELSE. My answer is: NOPE, If I could lower the rating to 0 I would definitively do it now. Bring in the lawyers.

This is my fourth time here and I have to say the pizza is the same every time. It's a new experience every time you bite into this pizza and even after the fourth visit it feels like it's the first time. The boss is very personable and was on site during every visit. The only thing I have to complain about is that we ordered take away and despite being there at the time we were told we weren't allowed to wait inside for those 5 minutes even though it was cold outside. (Was not ordered by the boss, the cashier said so). It's definitely worth a visit! Price-performance ratio is absolutely fair!

Very bad food and also very unhygienic. The employees were constantly scratching their heads or scratching themselves somewhere else. The meat is very tough and inedible, The fries were too salty and the sauces were way too sweet. I also don't understand why it's so difficult to offer customers clean plates? Dreckig. Unfreundlich. Unkonzentriert. Unstrukturiert. Eines Lukas Podolskis absolut unwürdig. Leider muss ich alle negativen Kommentare bestätigen. Frischer Salat sieht anders aus. Fleisch o.k., aber nichts besonderes und knapp bemessen. Brötchen in Ordnung, aber klein und teuer.

Der Döner ist in Ordnung aber preislich leider extrem hoch. Das Fleisch ist mitunter sehr fettig. Die Preise sind leider exorbitant hoch. Ich habe zudem nach einem Teller gefragt, um meine Portion Pommes zu teilen, die knapp 7€ mit Mayonnaise kostet, was leider abgelehnt vom Personal. Rund about kann man sagen, dass es definitiv besser Adressen gibt. Auch wenn ich Poldi natürlich mag.

Kurz und knapp: Personal unfreundlich und unmotiviert. Tische und Boden voll Müll und Essensresten. Über das Dönersandwich hätte sich jeder Vegetarier gefreut, da kaum Fleisch darauf war. Alles in allem ist der Laden in Kall nicht zu empfehlen.

Schon beim Reinkommen in den Laden fehlt ein freundliches "Hallo" (das fehlt bei der Verabschiedung leider auch als Antwort). Das Personal wirkt unmotiviert und alle sind unfreundlich und gehetzt. Die Tische waren fast alle dreckig, Fleisch muß man auf dem Döner suchen. Das war wirklich sehr wenig. Für den Preis war der Döner auch nicht der Größte, muß ich sagen. Bei der Salattasche mussten wir den Käse extra erbetteln (kassierten für die Frage aber einen genervten Blick), obwohl wir das direkt mit angegeben haben. Meine Tochter und ich waren zum ersten Mal bei Mangal und muß da echt nicht nochmal hin. Hauptsächlich wegen der unangebrachten Art der Mitarbeiter. Wir haben uns wirklich nicht Willkommen gefühlt dort. Schade. Als absoluter Poldifan hatte ich mich echt darauf gefreut. Aber das hat mit Poldu echt rein gar nichts zu tun. Der Mangal in Kalk sieht uns bestimmt nie wieder. Hätten wir mal vorher die Rezensionen gelesen. Ich kann alles nur bestätigen. Die Gabeln taugen nichts, Messer gibt es erst gar nicht (wobei wir auf Nachfrage eins geliehen bekommen haben....wirklich der einzige Pluspunkt).

Altes Fett für die Pommes und dürftig gewürztes Fleisch. Für den Preis gehe ich da nicht nochmal hin. Achja und der Besitzer löscht unrechtens Rezensionen, kann wohl nicht vernünftig mit Kritik umgehen.

Mann kann dort essen ABER nicht per online bestellen. Habe um 18 Uhr bestellt und erst nach 3 Stunden wird es mir erst storniert. Wofür wartet man ganz ehrlich jedesmal 2-3 Stunden warten und wenn man Glück hat kriegt man sein essen. Bestellt einfach nicht größter Fehler dieser Verein.

Spart euch die enttäuschende Erfahrung! Das hat nichts, einfach null mit einem Qualitativen anständigen Döner zutun und schon gar nicht mit gutem Service zutun. Die Mitarbeiter in Köln-Kalk sind richtig frech. Sprechen gern auf Ihrer Sprache schlecht über Kunden. (Richtig Haram) Preislich: Döner Sandwich 8,50€ und der Dürüm liegt bei stolzen 10,10€ bei so einer miesen Fleisch und Produkt Qualität, lieber die Finger weg lassen. Marketing ist alles, eben alles für Poldi's Geldbeutel ;) P.s: All die bereits Negativen und schlechten Bewertungen, entsprechend eben der Wahrheit und empfinden jedes einzelnen der selbst diese Erfahrung gesammelt hat!!

Sorry, nach guten Erfahrungen in Hürth hier in Köln Kalk eine absolute Katastrophe. Drei mal Dönerteller, Fleisch kalt Pommes nicht richtig frittiert und der Laden macht keinen sauberen Eindruck und zudem war es auch noch richtig kalt (Dezember). Wir kommen auf keinen Fall wieder 👎

Ich finde den Döner hier wirklich schlecht. Das Fett trieft unten aus dem Brot heraus. Das Fleisch schmeckt nach nichts und die Soßen waren wirklich grauenhaft. Die scharfe Soße hat nach Ketchup mit scharfem Gewürz geschmeckt. Ich sags nicht oft aber ich habe seit langem nicht so einen schlechten Döner gegessen.

Ich habe mir gerade ein Döner geholt, die Qualität hat sehr stark nachgelassen. Das Hähnchenfleisch war sehr fettig und voller Sehnen. Leider ungenießbar 👎🏻.

Dieser Laden ist einfach nur ekelhaft, ganze Salat ist vermischt mit Soßen was beim Auftragen auf den Döner runtergefallen ist in den Salat. Ich habe Laktoseintoleranz und leider habe ich da einen Döner ohne Soße bestellt. Bekommen habe ich den mit Soße da der Salat da mit jeder Soße vermischt ist. Wer da isst und krank wird ist selber schuld. Der Laden ist einfach dreckig wie man es auf den Bildern sehen kann. Die Mitarbeiter sind unfreundlich und packen sich oftmals im Gesicht, Mal reiben die ihren Schweiß von der Stirn, Mal wird das Ohr gekratzt oder Mal an der Nase gefummelt und sofort danach schön der Döner mit den unhygienischen Händen weiter zubereitet. Der Döner ist einfach nur teuer und schmeckt nach nichts wie andere Leute schon hier Kommentiert haben. Ich finde es einfach Wiederlich wie unsauber da gearbeitet wird. Die Salat Kabel wo Salat mit in den Döner gelegt wird ist auch schmutzig mit Soßen. Noch nicht einmal Lukas Podolski würde da in seinen Laden einen Döner essen. Mein Fazit TEUER, UNHYGIENISCH, DRECKIG und nicht weiter zu empfehlen….. 2023 immer noch dreckig

War der erste Versuch bei dieser Kette. Essen war lecker. Ambiente gut. Eine Imbissbude mit mehr Schick als der Durchschnitt. Würde wieder 'Mal' hingehen wenn ich in der Nähe bin. Bevorzuge aber auch deutlich die kleinen Imbisse bei mir ums Eck und für richtig Essen gehen eher ein gutes Lokal.

Habe heute bei dem Essen gekauft Döner Brot von den ist sehr klein für den Preis nicht zu empfehlen 7.50 € für ne kleine Döner

Geschmacklich immer in Ordnung, Fleisch manchmal etwas fettig. Das Personal bzw. der Service ist katastrophal. Bedienung und Kundschaft müssen sich oft anschreien, die Jungs sprechen zum Teil sehr schlecht deutsch. Wünsche wie z.B. welche Saucen müssen mehrfach genannt werden und werden dann trotzdem falsch ausgeführt. Leider passiert das fast jedes Mal, deswegen meide ich Mangal von nun an.

Habe mir gestern spät Abends auf dem Heimweg ein Döner mit Kalbfleisch gegönnt, und da er mir so positiv in Erinnerung geblieben ist, hinterlasse ich jetzt ein Erfahrungsbericht. Der Döner war so unglaublich lecker, aber vor allem stach das sehr gut gewürzte Kalbfleisch heraus. Nachdem ich den Döner zu Ende gegessen hatte, war ich noch leicht wehmütig, da ich mir dachte, dass ich gerne noch einen zweiten essen würde. Freu mich bereits auf den nächsten Besuch!
