Great place! The kebab was fresh, juicy and really tasty. Friendly service and pleasant atmosphere. I'd love to come back.

Every time I go there I'm more disappointed.. bomb back then and now they can't even get the order right.. I wanted a normal kebab with meat NOT with a crappy FALAFEL😣

They started with 7.50 and doubled the kebab prices in Bonn, I just paid €8 for a mini kebab (which is now their standard amount), back when they opened, you were full of the kebab for at least 2 days... We tried it out today out of necessity. Not recommended at all. Staff unmotivated, tables not cleaned, no toilet paper or paper for the hands in all toilets. Doner kebab was very greasy and not seasoned at all. Conclusion: once and never again!

Cold meat, expensive drinks for the same price

I was disabused today and will no longer order from Lieferando. We waited 1 1/2 hours for our 5 Dürums. I know that the delivery time was given as 40-60 minutes but it is at 7:06 p.m ordered the food was prepared around 8 p.m. and we received our food at 8:30 p.m. We wanted to cancel the order, but we couldn't use the Lieferando app and we couldn't reach anyone in the restaurant by phone because the restaurant's phone number wasn't assigned. I don't know how something like that can be... We would have liked to have canceled and gone somewhere else!! The Dürums weren't quite warm anymore and in the end there was nothing special, just the meat was good.

Ordering through Uber Eats used to be really good. Always bad now. Ordered a kebab plate two weeks ago and only received meat with fries, no salad. Yesterday two fries were forgotten and the cheese we paid for extra. Super annoying.

I was there for the first time today. My order: 3 kebabs to take away. All with extra sauce and one with extra cheese. You can't say anything about the taste. Was great. And for an extra €1 there was really good cheese on it too. But unfortunately none of my kebabs had the sauce I ordered. Only one had about a teaspoon of sauce at the bottom. If you think about the fact that extra sauce was ordered, it's really sad. The size of the kebab was also not justified for the price. Unfortunately, I ordered takeaway and didn't notice this until I got to the hotel. I didn't really like ordering from the machine either. I just don't like those things. Without the machine, the errors could definitely have been avoided. It would have been possible to pay in cash and order at the counter, but I would have liked to have known the prices beforehand. But other than a large Podolski advertisement, I couldn't see any prices. Conclusion: I think the main thing that is advertised here is a famous name. And the rest is rather subordinate. Too bad

Podolski's food is definitely delicious. Also suitable for vegetarians, with the delicious salad bag. At €7.90 for a kebab, I expect a different quality. The pressed minced meat was cold, but otherwise tasted okay. The bread was not at all crispy, rather limp. The hot sauce should be called sweet sauce. All in all, the taste was okay, but absolutely not worth the hype and the €8. As many others have already complained, the staff is listless and unfriendly. Definitely a unique experience for me.

I was very disappointed that here they serve food in plastic boxes when I eat in. This fries was one big fail. Too big, not properly fried and bad taste :( served in plastic box. I really like Mangal but it is very big difference where you eat and how they valuate their customers. Maybe I was just unlucky, but they guy who serve should not be paid for service to people

Today was a complete disaster, the shop looks like a mess (unfortunately none of the tables were clean and usable), the toilet is closed for renovation and the food (including meat) was ice cold. I haven't experienced it like that here before, but today it was an absolute failure. The mandatory ordering via the terminals does the rest.

I would like to comment on my last visit to Mangal Döner Bonn. Although the kebab I ate tasted good, I unfortunately had some negative experiences that I would like to address here. At first the staff was unfriendly, which greatly affected the overall impression of my visit. In addition, the toilet was closed!!!! Which is an unpleasant experience for me and certainly for other guests. When I asked where the guests could go to the toilet in this case, I received a rude answer that it was not possible due to construction work!!! Here I had the feeling that the staff did not react appropriately to the situation. Everyone just didn't care at all!!! According to current regulations, restaurants with an area of ​​more than 50 square meters or a certain number of guests must provide a functioning toilet. I would like to point out that this also applies to Mangel Döner Bonn!!!!!

Very dirty! Cables are exposed on the walls. The ground is littered with leftover food and garbage. Either the staff doesn't understand you well or they are simply unfriendly. Mangal is usually a good stop for a decent kebab. However, I will avoid the Bonn branch, very poor service and the end product does not come close to meeting expectations if you are used to the other stores or compare them.

Unfortunately no German. I had to explain tooth and nail that I wanted a kebab plate to eat here and it also hit my stomach hard. In addition, instead of the promised 4 minutes, I had to wait 20 minutes until I got my kebab plate, which I was then allowed to bring to our table myself, with cutlery, a kebab plate, with bread on the wooden board and with the ayran! Never again. The only plus point is that the restaurant is nicely decorated.

Over complained, the meat was cold, seasoned too much, probably contains glutamates, the sauce was too sweet, the bread was cold, not crispy like the sole of a shoe, I wouldn't eat it again.

I can only recommend the food. Unfortunately, I often had problems with the staff and opening times. The door says open from 11 a.m. and if you want to order then: come back in 20 minutes. Like today. When I asked nicely when the store would actually be open, the staff became unfriendly. I was there for the last time today!

A world champion plate like when Italy becomes world champion. Meat partly raw. The selection of options was not considered and the overall size of the plate for 13 and a few squashed ones will fill a young person but certainly not a grown man. The fries side dish consisted of 12 fries... basically one more than the FC currently has on the field. What an underground shop...

The [mention of any unique sauces i.e, garlic sauce, spicy chili sauce, fresh vegetables complement the meat beautifully. However, the popularity comes at a price: long lines. Be prepared to wait, especially during peak hours. While the quality justifies the wait for many, it's definitely something to consider.

Chicken kebab the meat was very hard and through and after a few bites I felt really sick so I threw up. I used to often eat at mangal in Cologne but this one is really not good.

The worst kebab of my life. We configured and ordered 3 different kebabs using the completely dirty self-service terminal. As a result, all 3 kebabs were the same and equally bad. Very little meat, sour tasting cocktail sauce and the whole thing served on a dirty wooden tray. The table and bench were also completely worn out, dirty and littered. The crowning glory is the toilet: door broken, toilet run down and dirty, no functioning soap dispenser..., overall disgusting conditions. Why isn't the public order office or health department taking action here??? In any case, we will never come here again. A note to the operator: I can provide proof of my visit to the restaurant using the payment receipt and witnesses.

Basically, the concept of Mangal Döner is nice, but during our visit it failed due to professional implementation. It started with the fact that at 12:20 on a Sunday there were no more onions in stock and the extras we ordered, such as cheese on the kebab or the fries and extra sauce, were consistently forgotten. Questions were always responded to in a responsive manner (fair enough), but nevertheless lunch was no longer a relaxing experience with all the interruptions. Unfortunately not recommended, as Bonn has better kebab shops up its sleeve.

Unfortunately as an Uber driver one of the worst places! It would be better if there were no Uber Eats for the store. Every time you come in there and want to pick up your orders, but the slips of paper are always left next to the machine and are ignored. Only after the driver arrives and tells you what your order is, will it not start straight away. Waiting times are never less than 20 minutes. It's a shame for such a good shop

My kebab was absolutely not edible today. Meat was dry and didn't taste fresh, cocktail sauce had a strange aftertaste. I threw away the last third. It's a shame, shortly after they opened it was a very tasty kebab shop, about a year ago it was still edible, I have no idea what has happened now. I would prefer that prices be increased rather than quality reduced.

Best kebab I've eaten in a long time

The waitress cuts the meat from the spit and talks on the phone. The facility is unkempt. The cleaning leaves a lot to be desired. The floor is full of leftover food. The tables are cleaned sporadically. A rag for everything. Nobody seems to know HACCP. The toilets are pure breeding grounds for germs. Everything is dirty. Door lock broken. No soap available. No towels. Sometimes no light. That's impossible. I wouldn't give up my name for that. That was my first and last visit to this restaurant. I'm totally disappointed.

We ate two Mangal kebabs in this shop today, absolutely not recommended!! The staff is unmotivated and you feel unwelcome. The kebab was cold and dry, the employee had only used the stale pre-cut meat. If you want the delicious, juicy Mangal kebab, go to Bad Godesberg or Cologne.

I wasn't the only one this happened to. I also ordered a kebab with extra meat and paid extra for it. Nevertheless, the kebab tasted almost exclusively of salad and sauce - the meat content was minimal, while the vegetable and sauce content was excessive. Absolutely disappointing and not recommended.

Dirty place with employees who do not care. Food was good, but everthing ist dirty and picking up your food is pure chaos. Never again.

We grabbed something to eat here. Ordering at the terminals worked without any problems. Doner kebab was ready quickly and had plenty of toppings. Delicious sauces, well-seasoned meat with great taste. My colleague had ordered a lahmacun menu. It took a very long time and unfortunately the fries were completely soggy and didn't taste good at all.

Our second visit today, as we were actually quite satisfied the first time. Ordering at the terminal was a disaster. Ordering worked well, but we didn't get the food we wanted. It seems like they only looked at the first kebab, which was supposed to be without onions and hot sauce, and so all 3 kebabs were prepared that way. One dish was simply forgotten. The taste didn't blow us away today either. Really very disappointing, we won't be coming back.
