Das Essen ist sehr gut, aber auf wundersame Weise sind die Portionen auf Kinderportionsgröße geschrumpft. Zum satt werden für einen Erwachsenen, leider nicht geeignet.

Leckeres Phad Thai allerdings mit sehr kleinen Portionen für den Preis.

Nach einer langen Zugfahrt von Wien und dem Einchecken im Hotel direkt gegenüber war dieser Ort genau das Richtige. Fantastisches Essen, mittelmäßiger Service, nur Barzahlung.

Die Bedienung war so unhöflich, dass wir unsere Bestellung wieder storniert haben und gegangen sind. Die Karte wurde uns kommentarlos auf den Tisch geworfen und auf unsere Fragen wurde überhaupt nicht eingegangen. Gewisse Umgangsformen sind nicht verhandelbar, auch wenn es nur ein Imbiss ist.

Manam Thai, vielleicht der beste Imbiss Laden in München. Saubere frisch vor Ort gekochte Thai Küche und ohne Geschmacksverstärker. Es wird nur frisches und hochwertiges Gemüse und Fleisch gekocht. Und es schmeckt! Für diese Qualität sind die Gerichte sogar günstig. Manche negative Bewertungen kann ich nicht nachvollziehen.

Kleiner Laden, aber geschmacklich ganz groß. Alles frisch, perfekt gewürzt und schnell zubereitet. Für mich eine der besten Adressen für asiatisches Essen hier in der Gegend.

Richtig gutes Thai Street Food! Die Nudelsuppe war super aromatisch und frisch, genau so wie man es sich wünscht. Komme definitiv wieder.

5 Sterne für die Authentizität: ich war nie in Asien, aber so könnte ich mir Streetfood in Thailand vorstellen: miniklein, mit kitschigen Schnickschnack, nicht wirklich freundlich, aber irgendwie doch gut gemeint, und mit unvermeindlicher Nähe zu Essengenossen. Es macht großen Spaß dort zu essen! Es ist klein aber fein! Es schmeckt einfach gut ! Die Damen sind sehr zuvorkommend!

Ein absolut empfehlenswertes Thai-Restaurant! Die Speisen sind wirklich extra klasse – frisch, aromatisch und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Man merkt sofort, dass hier authentisch gekocht wird und hochwertige Zutaten verwendet werden. Besonders die Suppen und Street-Food-Gerichte sind geschmacklich hervorragend abgestimmt. Der Service ist freundlich und aufmerksam, die Atmosphäre angenehm und entspannt. Wer echte Thai-Küche sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Nachtrag: Meine ursprüngliche Bewertung bezog sich auf das Restaurant, das leider dauerhaft geschlossen ist. Ich gehe seit vier Jahren in dieses Restaurant und finde, dass sie den Geschmack ihrer Speisen im letzten Jahr verbessert haben. Meiner Meinung nach ist es das beste authentische Thai-Restaurant in München. Ihre „Tom Sap“ (scharfe Kräutersuppe mit Schweinefleisch) und „Pla Sam Rod“ (gebratener Dorade-Fisch mit süß-scharfer Soße) sind die besten der Stadt. Die Suppe schmeckt wie in Thailand. Ich schätze es sehr, dass sie Dorade-Fisch verwenden, da dieser sehr fleischig ist, während andere Thai-Restaurants andere Fischarten verwenden, die weniger Fleisch und mehr Gräten enthalten. Es gibt ein besonderes Gericht, das nicht auf der Speisekarte steht: „Gaui Tiew Tom Yum Gai Tod“ (knuspriges Hähnchen in Tom-Yum-Nudelsuppe). Auch ihr „Moo Yang Nam Tok“ (gegrilltes Schweinefleisch mit scharfer Kräutersoße) ist wirklich sehr gut. Der Service ist hervorragend, die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Nachtrag: Was die Imbissbuden auf der Straße angeht, schmeckt das meiste Essen gut. Die Nudelsuppe ist auch lecker, aber nicht so gut wie in Thailand oder in anderen Nudelrestaurants in Nürnberg und Frankfurt.

Abzocke Dramatisch teuer. 5 mikroskopische Chicken stücke als Fingerfood 9eur. mittlere Frühlingsrollen auch9 Eur. Vergisst die Location und geht zum Italiener. Mindestens habt ihr was zum Essen für den Preis.

Das Essen kam sehr spät, war kalt und der Geschmack war schrecklich und ekelhaft. Für den Preis von 24,26€ erwarte ich warmes Essen, das frisch zubereitet wird und lecker riecht. Bitte bestellt kein Essen über dieses Restaurant oder geht vor Ort hin.

Reisnudeln waren zum Teil nicht durchgekocht.

Geschmacklich ist das Essen Garküche top und sehr authentisch. Ein großes Manko ist allerdings die Preisgestaltung, die insbesondere kürzlich teils irrsinnig ist. Ich liebe Thom Kha Gai, die es in sehr hochwertigen Restaurant für 9-12€ gibt. Bei Manam erhält man eine Vorspeisenportion mit relativ wenig essbarem Inhalt für satte 18,20€! als Gegenstand einer Lieferbestellung. Das ist absolut nicht gerechtfertigt. Mit dieser Preisgestaltung gibt maximal 3 Sterne. …Anpassung ratsam, wenn man Kunden nicht vergraulen möchte.

Manam ist und bleibt einer der besten Thais in München. Bin Fan der ersten Stunde. Leider werden die Portionen, hauptsächlich bei to go festgestellt - immer kleiner, die Preise dafür aber immer höher. Natürlich werden auch Lebensmittel teurer aber das ist meiner Meinung nach ein bisschen ins Extrem gegangen mit den Erhöhungen. Deshalb leider Sternabzug für Preis-Leistungsverhältnis

Authentic Thai cuisine. Small and, at first glance, perhaps not in keeping with Munich's chic scene, but the best Thai food in town. From pad Thai to papaya salad to sticky rice with mango, everything is top-notch. The few tables are full at lunchtime, but you can also takeaway.

Manam is simply a true street food joint! The shop is maybe 50 square meters, including the kitchen. There's maybe 10 seats. Reservations aren't available, and for years, payment has only been in cash. The service is fast, and sometimes a bit rude, but that's part of the street food experience, and part of its charm! 😀

I used to come here quite often. Very authentic and excellent Thai food. Last week, however, was a huge disappointment. The portions are getting smaller and smaller, the taste wasn't as good anymore, and there was another outrageous price increase as of June 1, 2025, from €9 to €14. Middle portions of rice also cost extra. I paid €28 for two dishes at lunch without a drink, sitting on a metal stool... What a shame, it used to be different. This was definitely my last visit.

Unfortunately, the food had an extremely salty and vinegary sauce. The aggressive response to my request for a fresh plate so I could save the still-edible food was that I should pay €1.50 for it. Wow!

The seats outside were unfortunately very unpleasant (odour from next door). The staff were unpleasantly rude and cheeky. Unfortunately, I can't recommend it. The menu is very confusing and when I asked for a new plate because my food was swimming in an unpalatable salty sauce, they wanted extra money! Just for the plate. Even though I had already tipped them. Absolutely unfriendly and not made for a restaurant job.

Please don't tell anyone that this is the best street food in Munich.

The Pad Thai was dripping with fat, the three crumbs of tofu were burnt, as was the egg. It's a shame, as the restaurant had been recommended by many IG influencers, but this was truly a complete disaster in terms of taste.

Paneang - my colleague said they might have made a mistake with the sauce. Didn't have much to do with Panang. Another colleague had Pad Prik Gaeng - okayish. The ก๋วยเตี๋ยว, or noodle soup (with chicken), had no depth of flavor. When it comes to food, I don't care whether people who have been on five holidays call it authentic (it wasn't, and they weren't exotic or unusual dishes, just standard fare), but it didn't have potential to become a regular restaurant. It's quite small and probably OK for a snack, but just about 3 stars for us.

The restaurant is very small, which makes the entire room stink, but combined with the unfriendly staff it quickly becomes unpleasant. The food, which used to be really good, has noticeably deteriorated. The quality and taste varies with each visit, which is especially disappointing knowing it used to be much better. You simply can no longer rely on the dish to consistently taste good. The preparation and seasoning do not seem to have a fixed line, which makes the meal rather unsatisfying. All in all, Manam is no longer what it used to be. The small, cramped restaurant, coupled with the unfriendly service and the poor food, unfortunately makes the visit not recommended.

My pasta had an unpleasant aftertaste, which is caused by burning fat when grilled on a flame, and was just about edible. The portion was tiny. You've never been served, but unfortunately you can tell from the poor woman's eyes that she's no longer interested. You can no longer see anything of Thai friendliness. In addition, there is a broken ventilation that still runs and makes a terrible noise. You can help yourself very pragmatically by simply opening the door for ten minutes. With temperatures around zero degrees, it's quite a refreshing experience if you sit next to the door. I wish you much success 🍀👍

Been coming regularly over the last 8 years thanks to our addiction to their pad thai. The best Thai food in Munich (and we’ve tried many, including the top rated ones). Top dish - pad thai (add the crispy duck) Second - pad kee mao Rad na and pad see ew is also good. Place smells of fish sauce and a very authentic street style hole-in-the-wall, but the food is totally worth it, for serious foodies not for posh poodles looking for top service.

Very salty. Lokenyou spilled the whole package of salt and I politely asked them to atleast rince off thr soup all they reply were that this is how they serve. Under-educated way of communication in Thai, shockingly rude to the customer from your own country. Just simply horrible all around experience. ( my son was coughing and the waitress and the cook keeps complaining and asked me to put face mask on him, but say absolutely nothing to the guy at the next table who was blowing his nose, why???)

The ambience is plain and simple. Reminds me of the street bars in Vietnam. They have their own charm. The meal: red curry with rice, tofu, vegetables and coconut milk. 12 euros. Slightly spicy. The portion was just right for me. Others might find them small. The price is completely okay. These people also want to make a living from their work. What impressed me: Shortly before the store closed, a larger group announced itself. They politely and firmly pointed out that they were at 9 p.m. close. So the group could decide whether they wanted to eat in 25 minutes. I think that's good. To protect yourself. If we don't do it, there will be people who will throw it away like an old bag. Normally I never rate but I just wanted to share this experience. Ordered baked chicken sate take away and a half-empty sauce bowl, 80% breading over the totally tough meat. I have NEVER had to choke down anything worse. An immediate complaint in the store unfortunately only resulted in the staff being defiant. For 13 euros, a disgrace in terms of food and service. Instead of making me an offer to simply remake the dish in an acceptable version or to refund me the money, I was instead offered that I could call the police. I have never experienced anything like this in any city in Germany or Thailand.
