MANA Food Moabit in Berlin

Brilliant vegan food and coffee. The portion of pancakes was a bit too big for me personally, but the price-performance ratio was good 😅

Very unprofessional and inattentive. After a walk the two of us came to the MANA. It was a relaxing Sunday where we forgot about time and let ourselves drift. Our path led us to MANA and we wanted to try it out. It was full, but we still found a place. The employee came about 10 minutes after we sat down and asked us if we wanted the card. She brought it to us without saying anything else and left. We chose something to eat and waited to return. After another 10 minutes passed, we went to the counter to order. My friend first ordered his dish from the menu and was told there would be no more lunch. It would be after 3 p.m. and the kitchen was “ran out of food.” We had already been sitting at the table for about 20 minutes without being made aware that the kitchen would be closing soon. After a moment of rethinking, he ordered a warm drink and a piece of cake. The person ignored me and wanted to start preparing straight away. My friend pointed out to her that I also wanted to order. She came back and took my order without a word but visibly uncomfortable. We returned to the table decided not to stay and left. We previously canceled our order and expressed our dissatisfaction with the process. We understand when unexpectedly more guests visit a restaurant and the kitchen closes early. We would have liked someone to make us aware of the situation and say, for example: hey, nice to have you here. We know it's not 3 p.m. yet, unfortunately the kitchen is about to close, I ask what else is on the menu... or there is still delicious cake... something service-oriented but nothing came. Maybe there is a second chance but the reviews about the coffee actually put me off. Good luck.

Loooovely vegan food!! The proportions are much larger than the photos suggest and to my surprise I couldn’t finish the pancakes but they’re gorgeous. The wonderful lady that served us was so accommodating of the fact we can’t speak German and was really happy to speak English to us (sorry about that!!). She answered our questions about the food and even offered to make my drink with different ratios of chocolate to chai. Absolutely recommend 🥰 we had the shashuka, vegan pancakes, chai latte and chocolate chai latte. All was very good. Thank you so much!

Overall, “Mana” left an okay impression. The coffee was good, but the prices seem a bit high for this level of establishment. The atmosphere is simple, and the cold, office-like light in the back room makes it feel rather uncomfortable. The shakshuka was too spicy for my taste but might appeal to fans of spicy dishes. The pancakes, on the other hand, were really tasty and so big that I couldn't even finish them. This restaurant could be an option for a quick snack, but don't set your expectations too high.

We were there for brunch and were served very lovingly, deliciously prepared bread with various spreads. Definitely try it. It's worth it! We'll be back. The Einrecht is rather simple but still cozy.

I'm not vegan and ended up here by chance, which is why I was even more excited about the breakfast here. The scrambled tofu was amazing! The service was also super friendly and the quiet street was a great place for breakfast. I will definitely come back. The only point of criticism: I have eaten better vegan cakes.

The Mana is a cozy café that invites me to linger, with very good coffee and cake. But the food is a little more expensive, so that will remain an exception for me.

It was extremely delicious!!! 😍😍😍 Mana‘s Mushrooms is just something you must try :))) Portions are big, service is nice and friendly, we also tasted Chai Latte and enjoyed it. There is big and chilly terrace, but we were sitting inside and felt relaxed ☀️

Nice vegan cafe! Service also friendly. Food okay so far. In my opinion, however, the prices quoted are far outside the price-performance ratio - even for vegan scene cafés. 22 € for a bagel, a cappuccino, a banana bread and a 0.3 smoothie including tip. €15 for pancaces? €4.30 for an iced latte? That doesn't leave a good feeling. (Neither did the guests at the table behind us). But people with large wallets certainly feel comfortable.

The food was first class and served quickly. Super tasty Shakshuka (be careful, slightly spicy). The ambience is cozy, rustic, simple and very inviting. Even though the waitress was alone, we had our food in no time. We'd love to come back! Thanks

The food (all dishes are vegan) is extremely good, I like to bring guests here when they visit me in Berlin. I can personally recommend the vegan Shakshuka. The location here in the middle of quiet Moabit is also quite nice, the only (minor) flaw here would be a small lack of sun-protected places if you want to sit outside. But inside it is also very beautiful and atmospheric. In my experience, it doesn't matter whether you come here just for a quick coffee or to eat. We were usually served very friendly.

Amazing cafe in a beautiful location. The food was absolutely delicious (pancakes are out of this world), and the cocktails were a big hit. Staff were amazing and extremely accommodating. Can't wait to go back.

Excellent place for brunch. It's amazing how they make everything vegan and it tastes even more delicious. The cashew cream is to die for. The avocado toast is perfection! The iron booster is a perfect healthy addition for the brunch.

My favorite brunch and coffee spot in Moabit! Super varied, completely vegan menu and very relaxed atmosphere. The location in the heart of Moabit right next to the Arminiusmarkthalle is ideal for a boozy brunch, especially if you can sit outside. The price of the food is unbeatable and the service is very accommodating :)

My place for breakfast in Moabit! Everything is vegan and delicious. The service is incredibly friendly, but sometimes there are longer waiting times when it's full. Reservations are usually only possible for large groups. Card payment possible, tables outside are in the sun ☀️

Drinks were quite alright, place is quite cute, we waited forever to get our drinks while other people who arrived afterwards got their orders, there’s only one bathroom with a long queue.

Waited 25 minutes after ordering for 2 drinks to arrive When paying, waited 3 minutes for the two bartenders to finish their not job related chat. Payed by card and they had the audacity to push the tip glass to me after such terrible service. Too bad that the service is so bad because the place is quite nice.

You taste what is possible, only plant based. The service is very friendly. It has a good atmosphere, in a simple way, that seems to be a trend in Berlin right now. Unlikely, you have to use steps.

Unfortunately that was not the best experience. We came to the cafe on Sunday to have some coffee and snacks and work a bit. We sat down, ordered food and drinks, but when I took out a laptop, a waiter meant that they laptops are not allowed on the weekend. When I told that this information would be better to get before we received our order, she said that she did not see laptop before, that’s why she did not say anything. I found it very mean as this information is neither specified on a website, on Instagram or at the entrance. Maybe not many people work Sundays, but some - eg with freelance job, do. I also don’t understand why reading on a laptop is different from reading on a tablet, phone or reading a book. We also came far after brunch and lunch time, so there were quite a few free tables and we did not really took place from people who wanted to enjoy a Sunday brunch. Coffee and food were good, that’s why 3 stars still. But luckily in Berlin there is no lack of coffee shops, so next time I will choose another place to go, with or without laptop.

I've been there 3 times in the last 4 weeks and tried 3 different brunch dishes. Unfortunately, the pancakes are far too sweet, the scrambled tofu is far too salty and the Mediterranean/African tomato dish is particularly spicy. The dishes are also not very diverse and quite boring. So I feel like the spices are trying to improve the otherwise pretty poor dishes. In addition, the management comes from the store and the price level. Last time we ordered the same dish twice and one of them had one less slice of bread. When we ordered extra bread, two small slices came that cost €2 extra. The location is great, the staff is very friendly, vegan is great, but it's too expensive for what you get and how it tastes.

Rustic, regional and very tasty exclusively vegan dishes. Sweet restaurant. Unfortunately, we froze a bit in between because the door didn't close automatically and the door was opened again by guests and the service (who also served outside - very nice when the sun was shining!).

Place was quiant and very inviting. We took one of the smoothies each which were a nice recovery after our flight. For food, we had the shakshuka and avocado toast (gluten free bread) and they were both very well balanced and tasty dishes. The staff was very friendly and made sure we were doing well and had everything we needed. The ambiance was quite calm and relaxed with a few people working in the back and a nice playlist in the background. My girlfriend is gluten-free and they had a lot of options that she could choose from or choose gluten-free bread if needed.

I was not expecting a vegan restaurant to be in my top 3 food experiences in Berlin, but here we are. The mushroom dish was phenomenal. Also, great ambiance for having a nice, quiet meal or perhaps getting some work done.

Was soll man zu Mana sagen? Ganz einfach: das beste vegane Brunchen in ganz Europa! Wir sind zum ersten Mal vegan in Berlin Moabit Frühstücken gewesen. Mana kennen wir sonst nur aus anderen Stadtteilen und dort war es immer perfekt und sehr lecker. So auch hier! Das vegane Café / Restaurant ist etwas kleiner, als die andere Filiale aber mindestens genau so eine Empfehlung wert. Das Personal ist, nett, zuvorkommend und herzlich! Das Frühstück ist eine Geschmacksexplosion in jeglicher Hinsicht! Es ist warm und gemütlich dort. Wir hatten zweimal Veganes Rührei mit Lax (Lachsersatz) und einmal Pancakes mit Apfelmus, Sirup, Marmelade und Sahne… ganz im American Style. Danach gab es für uns noch ein Stück veganen Cheesecake. Warum kann man nur fünf Sterne vergeben? Mana hätte zehn verdient. Macht weiter so! Wir kommen gerne jederzeit wieder!

Always nice. Have visited twice with husband and once alone. Usually employees prefer to speak English and are rather nice. Sometimes they didn't understand my questions but the food is still very good. Like the chef here. Meals do differ a bit though main ingredients stay the same (e.g. Pasta dish). I would always ask if you are avoiding any ingredients since they see to change day by day.

Das Essen ist wirklich lecker. Die Bezahlfunktion ist interessant. Der Service ist normal, die Tische waren nicht gewischt. Das Ambiente ist sehr spartanisch. Aber nochmal, das Essen ist wirklich gut und zu empfehlen.

Nice server and nice atmosphere but my shakshuka was terrible. It only tasted like vinegar and paprika. They weren't very knowledgeable about gluten allergies either. It would take a lot for me to return.

Habe heute meinen Geburtstag gefeiert. Ich war das erste Mal hier, aber auf keinen Fall das letzte Mal. Alle Gerichte waren sehr schmackhaft, das Scrumbled Vegg so fluffy, das Shakshuka spicy, Avocado Bread der Hammer und die Pancakes ein Traum. Super leckeres veganes Frühstück und das den ganzen Tag über! Innen sehr süß eingerichtet und bei gutem Wetter auch einige Außenplätze :) Preislich ok. Pancakes definitiv eine Empfehlung, die sind extrem fluffig und dabei trotzdem etwas crunchy und sehr süß 😋

Ich hab dem Café zwei Chancen gegeben. Beim ersten Besuch hatte ich eine unprofessionelle Bedienung. Musste ewig auf die Karte und bis ich bestellen konnte warten. Bis die Bestellung kam, ist dann nochmal eine halbe Stunde vergangen, obwohl nicht viel los war. Beim zweiten Mal hab ich den Lax Bagel gegessen. Oben war er steinhart und unten komplett aufgeweicht. Der Lax hat nach total langweiliger Karotte geschmeckt. Das Café liegt sehr nett, aber ich kann es trotzdem überhaupt nicht empfehlen. Schade!

Sowohl drinnen als auch draußen kann man in besonderem Ambiente Sandwiches, Pancakes oder andere Leckereien verspeisen. Die Bedienung war total freundlich. Gerne komme ich wieder, um die kleinen Kuchen zu probieren. Die sollen besonders gut sein.

Erstmal macht mich das super happy, dass das ein veganes Café ist! Der Service ist super freundlich und man hat bei Bedarf auch genug Platz um sich mit Freund:innen zu verabreden oder die nächste Hausarbeit zuende zu schreiben. Die Musik ist total angenehm und darf gerne so gut bleiben! ☺️ Im Minztee dürfen gerne zwei stängel Minze rein, denn die drei Blätter lassen das Wasser nach Wasser schmecken und das ist auch dann preislich ziemlich dreist. Die Kuchen kann ich leider auch nicht empfehlen, aber der Kaffee ist ordentlich und das herzhafte schaut gut aus! Ich komme trotzdem gerne :)

Das Essen ist sehr besonders und mit viel Liebe angerichtet. Die Pancakes sind meine absolute Empfehlung, da sie unfassbar lecker, toll gewürzt und irgendwie anders als erwartet schmecken. Aber auch die verschiedenen Sandwiches lassen keine Wünsche offen, es ist wirklich für jede:n was dabei (ob Veganer:in oder nicht). Vielen Dank auch für die herzliche Bedienung und die reibungslose Orga unserer Riesengruppe, ihr seid toll und ich empfehle euch auf jeden Fall weiter!

The breakfast we had (avocado toast and scrambled veg) were both very tasty and delightful! It's the best resemblance of scrambled egg we've tasted so far. The apple juice and the smoothie were really good as well. They have both indoor and outside seating. The atmosphere outside was cozy with small wooden tables decorated with flowers, located on the street corner opposite some trees and other buildings. We didn't see a baby chair and wasn't offered one. To us this was not a problem since our baby was sitting on our laps or playing on the ground/floor. This is one of the few places where the information on HappyCow (where we found this cafe) and GoogleMaps are still the same.

Sehr schönes Café mit super lieber Bedienung. Das vegane scrambled (V)egg war einfach überragend und der Kaffee war auch sehr sehr gut. Immer wieder einen Besuch wert!

Coffee is very tasty and the staff is friendly. Unfortunately though I had multiple experiences with the cakes which weren’t satisfactory. They tasted old, and considering their price that is a no go. I hope they look into it.

Fantastic place to get a big breakfast! Everything is completely vegan and everything is really tasty. I always left with a full belly. It's a bit on the expensive side, but for the pancakes it's definately worth it! The staff is also really sweet.

Nettes kleines Cafe mit sympathischen Mitarbeitern und sehr leckeren veganen Gerichten.

Ein kleines Kaffee mit veganen Speisen. Ich wurde freundlich empfangen. Meine Pancakes waren lecker, auch wenn ich sie zu massiv und zu wenig fluffig für Pancakes fand. Mir gefiel der würzige Sirup über den Pancakes, so haben sie mich an Honigbällchen bei Griechen erinnert. Der fruchtige Beerenkompott und die Cashewcreme passten dazu gut. Die Creme hatte einen süßen guten Geschmack. Ich fand sie nur nicht ganz cremig. Das andere Obst hätte ich nicht unbedingt benötigt.

Der Karottenkuchen ist hier der beste aber insgesamt doch sehr teuer und kleine Portionen

Ein sehr schönes kleines Café mit Restaurant liebevollem Ambiente. Sehr nettes Personal, schnelle Bedienung. Eine schöne Auswahl für jeden Veganer etwas dabei, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Für jeden Tagesanlass können sie etwas anbieten, echt klasse :). Und krönender Abschluss, man kann mit sämtlichen Mitteln bezahlen, bar, Karte, Paypal etc :)

World‘s best vegan pancakes!!! Love that everything is vegan. Coffee is ok. Shashuka would be better warm. Matcha was not good and tasted like water.
