Best pizza in Hanover. Taste-wise and price-wise, no one has beaten it yet. I highly recommend it. I don't even dare eat pizza anywhere else anymore.

My experience was not positive. The pizza was sparsely topped. I pointed out that other pizza makers at the same pizzeria used significantly more generous toppings, whereupon an employee insulted me and threw me out. What do you think of this behavior towards a customer? I am shocked.

Don't let appearances deceive you: In this small, unassuming house with the dark dining room next door, they bake a particularly good pizza: crispy crust, fresh ingredients, and vibrant flavors! When the weather is nice, you can also sit at a table in front of the restaurant.

Since none of my complaints have been answered, I'd like to share my experience here. A delivery driver texted me on my private number (data protection?!) and harassed me. Several people I know have had similar experiences where phone numbers were found in pizza boxes. The pizza really isn't worth this kind of harassment. Great price if you're getting a takeaway pizza. Tried Diavolo, CASA, and Fungi and absolutely loved them. Super delicious, fluffy crust, and the perfect size.

Today, a group of us ate pizza there for the first time. Truly the best we've had in a long time. Great dough, flavorful toppings, and definitely not your average pizza.

The offer that any pizza costs only €10 for self-pickup (as stated on all flyers) does not apply if you order online (from their website, not Lieferando, etc.!), select "Pickup," and collect the order yourself. This is illogical and annoying, and unfortunately, the team did not offer any goodwill gesture when this was pointed out at pickup. A shame. --- Update November 2025 --- Mamma Enzo had the original review (see text above) removed, claiming it was "defamatory." After extensive email correspondence with Google's review team and my obligation to provide evidence, the review has now been reinstated. I am deducting another star because, in my opinion, Mamma Enzo brazenly tried to get rid of an unfavorable review.

Best stone-baked pizza in Hanover!

It's a small, snack-bar-like building. Not your typical restaurant. We ordered two stone-baked pizzas to go. The crispy crust, the fresh and generous toppings, everything was delicious. We were very satisfied.

I ordered food yesterday and was given the wrong pizza. When I called back, an unfriendly employee told me, "Tough luck, we did everything right." Very unfriendly and disrespectful to customers.

Order and pick up any pizza (always 32cm) for just €10. Hardly anyone can compete with that. Another tip: ask for the garlic dip with your pizza. It's a shame. I've been an enthusiastic and frequent customer ever since it opened...but the fact that a driver first harassed a customer via WhatsApp and then insulted them in the most vile sexual way... I'm sorry, but that's a reason for me to never order from there again.

I love pizza. I could eat it every day, so I'm very picky when it comes to good pizza. I had the best one in Dublin (Ireland), and this one takes second place, and that's saying something! Disaster at Mamma Enzo Never again! There was hair on the pizza, the salami was raw, and tasted absolutely disgusting. As if that weren't enough, my wife was insulted in Arabic over the phone – absolutely disrespectful! Hygiene doesn't seem to play a role here, nor does customer service. The surface of the pizza was sticky, and it turns out there was spit on it. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. Honestly: Stay away from this place. We're seriously considering reporting it.

This somewhat inconspicuous pizza shop on the side of the road neither invites you to linger nor does it provide a great ambience for the eye. There is really delicious pizza here that is freshly prepared and really tasty. The prices are fair, value for money! 💯😊👍

Fresh, hot and cheap! Really worth a visit! You can eat on site on a few seating areas or go to a parking lot to eat, there is a small park nearby. Price €10 per pizza is really cheap, pizza is more Italian than some others☺️

They were nice and big (32 cm) and very reasonable at €12 for salami or diavolo. My request for mushroom-free was taken into account. However, the pizzas were very poor in taste. There was way too much cheese and the pizza generally had very little flavor. Unfortunately very disappointing, we will not order here again

I ordered for the first time and immediately had a bad experience. The pizza is completely black from below and tastes accordingly, see picture. Sorry but I won't be ordering here anymore.

Ordered pizza via the delivery service and received it relatively quickly. The Quattro Stagioni pizza was very good, but I would have liked a little more cheese on the edge of the Margherita pizza. Basically, I think it would be nice if you could order different dips to dip the delicious edge into. Overall, definitely recommended!

I don't understand this review of the store... The gentlemen there were unfriendly to the end, the menu said salad, the answer was "No salad"... You ordered with the number of the pizza, the reaction was "Name?!?"... So complete sentences and friendliness were absolute foreign words. The price of 10€ is NOT justified! E.g. Pizza Balla Balla - 3 pieces of bacon, 4 slices of salami and a little ready-made chicken... In addition to dough, sauce and cheese... Impudence... Apparently people don't know anything in Hanover reasonable... Well... ambience, run-down snack bar that is trying to be "pretty"... Menu outdated, opening times outdated... Rubbish... At least the other pizza with its shredded broccoli was able to eat it thanks to the Hollandaise sauce Save star.

The pizza tastes good! 4 stars! The staff is very unfriendly. 0 stars! There is also rubbish next to the hut. Cardboard boxes, cans, residual waste, etc. And that's exactly what doesn't make a good impression. One can only guess what the preparation looks like. Train the staff. Even if you sell very, very well there, you shouldn't lose appreciation for your customers. See other reviews, customers have already turned away for exactly this reason.

We would give more stars. The pizzas are great. Not only is the price/performance ratio right, but also the feeling afterwards. No feeling of fullness or discomfort despite decent portions. That's why the quality in particular can be rated very well. We'll be back!

I've driven past the little "hut" so many times over the last year. Last Friday I finally got a Parma & Tiramisu pizza there. The service was simply great: super friendly and the food was ready quickly. About the pizza: thin base, not very crispy edges, enough toppings and super tasty. The tiramisu: a bit frozen and had to thaw first, then it was just really delicious. I will definitely get something there again and will recommend it to others at any time. 👍👍👍👍👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The pizzas were super tasty. The dough is really good. It's definitely not the last time I've ordered here. Highly recommended.

The pizzas have rich toppings, a great baked dough and the price/performance ratio is unbeatable... # the service couldn't be better - e.g. if something goes wrong when ordering, it will be corrected free of charge (!) without wasting any words... # the preparation times are also great - you never wait longer than ten minutes...! Mamma Enzo certainly doesn't need to shy away from any comparison, in fact I think they would leave most of their competitors far behind...! Recently they have carried out extensive renovation work on the house and have also provided covered places, so you can have a quick, good, cheap meal there... The picture shows a 'Cosa-Nostra', my absolute favorite...!

We went to Mamma Enzo's for the first time today. So first of all the quality of the pizzas was really very good. Unfortunately we have online (on Mamma Enzo's own website, not via Lieferando) Ordered pizzas to pick up and paid directly via Paypal. 12 euros for a pizza. But there are signs everywhere at the store saying that each pizza currently costs 10 euros. When I asked why we had to pay 12 euros, we were told that we would have had to order by phone... I would have expected a somewhat more accommodating reaction. Even if you can't or don't want to refund the four euros, I would have expected a drink on the house. We would have liked to come more regularly, but that has now been done.

A fine address for really good pizza and, as we tried today, also antipasti. My wife says it's the best antipasti she's ever tasted. Dear team, congratulations to you. Please keep it up, other pizza shops and restaurants should measure themselves against you. So now 2 years later, the pizzas have become even better... Finely tuned, not too much and not too little. Every pizza is a true masterpiece. Great 🏆
