Unfortunately not recommended! We waited 20 minutes for drinks, food came quickly but pizza dough didn't come through. Calzone inedible and returned. This restaurant has nothing to do with Italian cuisine, absolute disappointment coupled with high prices. Two stars because the staff was nice.

Unfortunately disappointing. Neither the atmosphere nor the service were convincing - inattentive staff, long waiting times and a lack of knowledge of the menu. The food was correct, but the seasoning was boring and the pizzas were average at best. You won't find comfort in bright light either. It's a shame, we can't recommend the trattoria.

An A4 sheet of paper from Fabriano would be tastier than their pizza. More leavened as well. Prices that make Carlo Cracco envious

The pizza here was just average and nothing special. The disappointing part of our experience was the handling of an extra charge. We called ahead to ask if it was okay to bring our own cake for a birthday celebration and were told it would cost 10€. Even this seemed a bit much for just serving few more plates, we agreed. However, when we arrived, they unexpectedly raised the fee to 15€, which felt unwelcoming and unfair. This lack of consistency and friendliness left me with a negative impression. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

We had reserved, which was absolutely necessary. The store was super crowded, which is good for a Saturday evening. But we waited over 1 hour for 1 pizza and 1 pasta dish, and our neighboring table with 3 adults and 1 small child waited almost 1.5 hours. Unfortunately that was really too much and we would have expected an apology and if it was really good even a gesture of apology. Therefore unfortunately only 3 stars. Food was ok and service was also ok. But unfortunately no waiting that long in the system restaurant.

The food was good and relatively cheap. They had good variation in the menu with vegetarian dishes. They also had a kids menu which is a plus. The service was okay, pretty slow and the staff had a lot of stress and hard to get. The atmosphere was okay, the outdoor seating was okay but there was people that smoked beside us. Could have been better, the place was okay.

The service is chaotic and overwhelmed. You wait forever to be able to order, and drinks and food also take a long time. Ready meals sometimes sit on the kitchen counter for minutes until they are picked up by the service staff and become cold. The atmosphere is rather uncomfortable - loud, bright spotlights and deep tables that make it uncomfortable to sit at. The pizza was ok, dips tasted bland. Wouldn't go again.

The location is great if you sit outside with a view of the Elphi. But apart from a very good dough, the pizza has very little that is worth eating. Lavishly topped with shrimp, which are simply placed from the bag onto the pizza. Zero spice, that's exactly how the whole pizza is. The spring onion pieces are raw. The small salad that comes with it is at least crunchy. Cutlery was forgotten, the pepper mill is empty. Very moderate...

Waiter was very accommodating, but unfortunately let us down. We had to wait about 35 minutes for the first catch and just as long for the second... My wife's carrpaccio was frozen, so we gave up after 15 minutes. Tables to your left and right were not cleared. The food was great, but I wouldn't recommend the restaurant to anyone

The restaurant is nice and bright and modern. We had a really funny, relaxed and courteous service staff. He was very entertaining and quick-witted. Fresh food, but I expected more in terms of taste.

Went there for a late lunch as a couple. Service was very friendly. Food came quickly and was very good. The desserts too. Would come back at any time!!

We were in this restaurant twice. The first time we had to leave because we were told to expect a wait of around 1.5 hours. The second time there was little going on. Our pizza was horrible. Topped with tomatoes from the day before yesterday. The service was very, very nice, hence three stars overall.

I cannot recommend the restaurant. The waiting time after ordering was far too long at 45 minutes. The pizza dough is reminiscent of bread dough. The calzone was pretty, but the ingredients inside were still very al dente. This is much better.

I chose the restaurant because of good registrations and should be particularly good with children. I can't recommend that. We waited almost 2 hours for the food, that's not possible with children... the children's pizza was good when it finally came, but the pasta with shrimp had no taste and the vegetarian pizza was wet. The ambience was more like an American cafeteria than a cozy Italian restaurant.

Needed dinner and this place was close to my hotel, but had a nice meal and came back another day! Pizza arrived very quickly both days, despite it being extremely busy the second visit. Pizza was tasty, reasonable prices and staff were well organised (even when busy). Would come again

I was here with my girlfriend at the end of September. We had an excellent meal on two evenings and felt very comfortable. We were so satisfied on the first evening that we ate there the second evening too.

Very friendly staff. Since we rely on gluten-free food, we were given a table. Thanks for that. We just don't have many alternatives

Very nice modern restaurant. We were there spontaneously and received a very friendly welcome. The service staff was very nice and attentive. We were there with two adults and two children, the selection of food was great and there were special offers for the little ones. After a short time we received our drinks and were able to order food. I asked for a recommendation and was given a good suggestion which I also ordered. The food was very tasty, everyone was satisfied and full. All in all, it was a successful visit and we'll eat there again when we get the chance.

Wonderful service and very very tasty food! Were here with 2 small children and can only warmly recommend everything. Reorders/requests from the kids were also fulfilled very quickly! Very happy again!

We really enjoyed the Salami pizza and the Pollo e Funghi pasta in Belchamel sauce. Unfortunately the bruscheta was far too salty. The drinks are quite expensive even for the ready-made soft drinks. The homemade raspberry-lavender lemonade was delicious.

We came in with 4 people at a pre-booked table on a Thursday evening. First impression: Without pre-ordering we probably wouldn't have been able to get space for 4 without waiting for a very long time. Takes some getting used to: More or less a very large room, perhaps for 100 people (or more), therefore a very high level of ambient noise. Our 4-person table was not large, so we had problems placing the main course, salads and drinks. In addition, the seat height of the stools (they were really stools) and the bench were ultra low. The seat height was uncomfortable. The drinks came quickly after ordering and the service staff was very friendly. Then we waited 45 minutes, which I felt was a bit long for this type of dish. Surprise, the pizza Calzione I ordered with spelled dough came as a pizza, since you can't make such a pizza with spelled dough. I can understand it, but there is no reference to this in the menu and the order was taken by the service without any reference. I discussed this and asked for a solution. I was offered a new calzione, thank you, but I had already been sitting in the restaurant for an hour and had waited 45 minutes alone for the food. Can we do something about the price since a calzione and spelled dough cost extra... No! OK, if it doesn't work, it doesn't work. Conclusion: Service staff friendly but not competent. Food was all brought out at the same time, which is good. The quality was good (but so is Ikea), the furniture was uncomfortable, the tables (where we sat) were too small, the environment was very loud, and the prices were cheap for Hamburg. I realized that I didn't like spelled dough and pizza, so I wanted to try it out. My recommendation for families with children and students. To enjoy a nice evening with good friends... At least not me.

Unfortunately it's not Italian at all, I've rarely eaten such a bad spaghetti/pizza. Frozen products, bland, no love to eat. very disappointing.

The worst pizza I've ever been served after 1.5 hours of waiting. The same with my wife. The dough is not fully baked on the inside, the thin edge is hard as a rock. Claim that none of these chefs have ever been anywhere near Italy, otherwise they would be ashamed to serve something like this. The spaghetti in tomato sauce with Gamberi from the couple who were here with us was irrelevant, bland, frozen Gamberi, just a shame. Service staff also not interested in the well-being of the customer. Inattentive, at best too few staff for too much rush, but that's not my problem, I just have to suffer for it and of course pay in the end. Not a word of apology for 1.5 hours of waiting for 2 pizzas and 2 portions of spaghetti. I hope the boss mom comes over here and cleans up the place. Any Italian mom would cry, which is what they call Italian here. Ah, almost forgotten, one of the pizza cutters was still running dishwater.

Superb Location - great sunset view. Friendly staff. Short waiting times. Ok/good food depends what you order. Pizza could have been cooked slightly longer. Other than that it is super child friendly with little drawing activities.

The food was very good, there is only one point deducted because the portion of the tortellini was, in my opinion, very small. Otherwise very nice staff and delicious food.

We went to Mamas twice in our Hamburg. On our first visit as a lunchtime snack, the food was delicious. Unfortunately, on our second visit we were a bit disappointed with our food, in terms of taste and we didn't really need the grasshopper in the salad. Something like this shouldn't happen. Therefore suitable for a midday snack, but there are certainly better restaurants.

The pizzas themselves were very tasty. Unfortunately the noodles weren't really seasoned. We had a table overlooking the kitchen and bar, so you could watch both the food and drinks being cold and ignored. At the end, the wheat beer was stirred with a straw (as Bavarians, our hearts bleed). The service was nice, but, like the others, seemed rather overwhelmed and/or disinterested. It's a shame because the location would be really great and there would be a lot of potential.

Sorry, the first impression when you come in is something like a self-service restaurant. Please wait at the entrance so that you can be assigned a table. The service was then very nice and friendly. We had a table with a view of the kitchen and the orders were always ready very quickly, but unfortunately they stood for a while before they were brought to the guest. Unfortunately, our starter didn't come until the main course. Too bad! The food itself was delicious and we can recommend it, but the service probably had too few staff that day.

Hello everyone! We visited a restaurant on Sunday after lunch. The first thing that caught the eye was the mess and dirt. In the toilet there was no soap, no paper, no towels. The entire bar was cluttered with dirty dishes and there was leftover food on the floor. The capacity of the hall was 30 Starters: Vitello Tonnato - dry, bland beef with little sauce. Carpaccio - not marinated, the meat was inedible. Shrimp in lemon sauce - very greasy, swimming in oil. All dishes were unbalanced in taste. Main courses: Frozen pizza - warmed up. Spaghetti Carbonara - that was terrible! Overcooked, unsalted spaghetti fried in bacon fat. The whole thing was served with just a spoon, but I had to run to the bartender and ask for the fork and knife. When I said that it wasn't spaghetti carbonara, the waiter apologized and said that the dish was being remade. Prepared again - everything remained the same (overcooked, unsalted, in fat, and no one knew that cream and egg were supposed to be in this dish), on top there was chopped parsley 😵 and in addition there was a shot glass with grated Parmesan (i.e. Parmesan is after all expected)). Of course we didn't eat the spaghetti. As you can imagine, the spaghetti was not deducted from the bill. The only thing I can recommend in this restaurant is cold beer. Conclusion: The day was ruined. And of course I can't recommend this place. I feel sorry for the owners who invested money in a good place, an interesting project and a beautiful interior, but not in the staff, not in professionals and professionals and not in a team.

Leider saßen wir auf kleinen Hockern. Man kam sich vor wie an einem Kindertisch. Somit war langes sitzen nicht möglich. Die Bedienung hat die Stühle nicht angehoben sondern über den Boden geschoben sodass man sich nicht unterhalten konnte. Dazu mussten wir sehr lange warten bis wir bedient wurden sind. Unser Essen war sehr überschaubar und für den Preis ein no go. Wir waren uns ziemlich schnell einig, das wir nicht wieder kommen werden. Ganz zu schweigen, die Situation auf der Damentoilette… dreckig, süffig und nicht einladend!

Food was amazing, but the service was terrible. I was there last Saturday for lunch and the waitress kept delivering the plates bending too close to the table and my boyfriend. Also “helping” him with putting the card in the device to pay by bending so much that her literal chest was basically on his face. I found it quite funny and mentioned it after leaving the place, but he also noticed it too and was too concerned I was going to tell her something if she approached to us a next time, since it was too obvious. Great food, but quite desperate waitress. Sad that she took away the nice impression that this place left!

Six of us wanted to have dinner at this pizzeria, including 2 children. We hadn't made a reservation and were standing in front of the door. We asked for a free table. The answer was that nothing was free and only possible with a reservation. There were 3 tables free outside and around 70% free inside. So I spontaneously checked online and reserved immediately. The operator's answer was that it didn't work that way and that the system had an error. But he addressed me by my name, which was on his screen. Ergo, no problem. He then refused to serve us, left us standing and left. Despite reservations and free tables, we were rejected!!! I don't have to eat in a store like this or leave any money. First and last attempt!

Best 0 stars! Dirty table, bad service, no bread given, no children's menu given, very unfriendly, listless, no understanding for seniors: when paying, the bank card was torn out of your hand, "You don't know that!" (aggressive tone) and an insult... There are better quality and more family-friendly Italian restaurants in Hamburg! Never again. Ciao!

We were there at the end of the company outing with around 55 people. Despite the large capacity, the atmosphere was relaxed. Food absolutely delicious. There is gluten-free pizza 🍕!! The employees were very nice and accommodating.

Great in theory. Various options, nice venue and location with outside terrace with views of Elbphilharmonie. But staff is bit slow on its feet, mixing orders up orders and not sure if kitchen was asleep when I got my pizza which was half baked.

Wir wollten kurz vor unserem Besuch der Elbphilharmonie noch etwas essen. Es handelt sich natürlich um eine Kette und gerade deswegen hatten wir gedacht, dass es so schlecht nicht sein kann und ein gewisser Anspruch an die Qualität vorhanden sein wird. Aber leider wurden wir enttäuscht und mussten feststellen, dass es nicht mehr als eine Touristenfalle ist, in die wir auch als Hamburger treten können. Die Wartezeit auf die Karte und die Rechnung war, ebenso auf das Essen war zu lang. Die Pizza war leider recht neutral, es gibt wirklich schlechtere, aber diese war nur ok. Die Spaghetti Carbonara war auch nicht italienisch, sondern deutsch mit einer Sahnesauce. Diese Portionsgröße zu dem Preis anzubieten ist dabei schon recht frech. Aber bei einem Weizenbier für fast 7,- braucht man sich über die restlichen Preise auch nicht wundern. Wir haben es durch die Wartezeiten ganz knapp zum Konzert geschafft und werden diese Location auf jeden Fall in Zukunft meiden. Und wohl wieder anfangen, vor Restaurantbesuchen Bewertungen zu lesen.

Two of us ate there yesterday. Unfortunately I have to say it wasn't very good. We had to draw our attention to the waitress coming. The service was polite but seemed very stressed. We ordered drinks, a starter and 2 main courses. I was asked whether I wanted the starter separately or together. We then waited 20 minutes for the drinks. When they finally came I got the wrong drink which he wanted to change again. The drink came after another 20 minutes, but only after we asked her about it again. The main course and starter then came together. Unfortunately, the starter was no longer fresh. They completely forgot my partner's main course. We then had it canceled again on the invoice.

Leider hatten wir ziemlich Pech mit unserem Kellner. Die Vorspeise wurde vertauscht und das Essen hat viel zu lange gedauert. Er war total überfordert und hat uns leider gar nicht beachtet!

The pizzas taste good and convinced me. Everything else is still OK.

Das Essen war gut, der Sevice eher mittelmäßig und ist verbesserungswürdig. Das Personal war unaufmerksam und erschien mir ein wenig überfordert. Das Ambiente erinnert innen eher an eine Bahnhofskantine und war meines Erachtens zu ungemütlich. Die Qualität des Essen war gut und hat geschmeckt.

The food was ok, nothing special...not particularly good, not particularly bad. Classic middle. The service was nice and courteous. There were boxes in front of the toilets, which were clean. This looked unfriendly.

After we sat down outside, we were ignored for 20 minutes. The outdoor area was well attended, the waiters were out and about and noticed us. Then we were informed (after 20 minutes) that we would no longer be served outside. This information not only came incredibly late, but also in such a rude tone and casually that we lost our desire and appetite and we left. During this "waiting time" we could see the plates at the other tables that were still half full - which probably didn't appeal to many people. The tables were also not cleared, which of course looks terrible when used glasses and plates are lying around everywhere. Service catastrophe, you don't feel welcome and the fact that it tastes good is also highly doubted - no reason to come back.

Im allergic to Milk. The waiters were very kind in helping me and verying my if the plate would be safe. The food was also delicious.

Trotz Nachfragen kam keine Rückmeldung, wann das Essen denn kommen wird. Als wir sagten, wir müssen jetzt gehen, war die Behandlung nicht Einfühlsam. Die Bedienung sagte nur, es sei plötzlich sehr viel Arbeit gewesen. Kurz: inakzeptabel.

Friendly service, food came quickly.

We spontaneously went there for dinner with the family. We had to wait 15 minutes at the door and then be shown to a free table. Many tables were neither cleared nor clean. After we had to wait at the table for another 30 minutes because no one wanted to take our order and no service staff responded to us, we left the restaurant. Unfortunately, we also had to be approached by other people who had exactly the same experience. It's a shame, we won't be coming here anymore.

We cannot judge food. We have NEVER gotten up in the middle of anything. The staff was extremely unfriendly and we left. Maybe you shouldn't work as a waitress if you're so unfriendly to customers.

That was nothing. The food is average at best. The pizza is more like a frozen pizza. The food comes very quickly. The layout and atmosphere are more like a canteen and it's too expensive for that. We ate in the outdoor lighting, inside it looked very messy. The floor was glued. There were boxes and dirty dishes lying around. The staff was helpful, friendly and really quick. Overall, it's not a nice Italian meal.

Leider mussten wir mit zwei kleinen Kindern fast 2 Stunden auf das Essen warten - mehrere große Gruppen ohne Kinder, die nach uns kamen, wurden vorgezogen. Besonders negativ, dass dann nicht mal ein Korb Brot o.ä. für die Kids bereit gestellt wurde.

Really good for a chain. Very nice waiter, modern yet cozy atmosphere. Food was pretty good, with some room for improvement. Partly a little under-seasoned, the risotto was still not "chunky" enough. Unfortunately the visit wasn't that great. The service took a very long time, and in our corner our table was often skipped as we looked around. Even suggesting that I would pay took three attempts. And it wasn't particularly crowded. The pizza is below average and not really good for an Italian. Price for it is quite high. With the location and the outside area, the store has a good ambience but that's it.

Even though the dishes and service and atmosphere is great at the peak times restaurant becomes really understaffed. Approximately for 60 guests they try to serve with 2.5 waiters/waitresses. This restaurant policy has to change because you wait around 20 minutes just to order or get the check even though the staff is working as fast as they can.
