Mama Pizza in Augsburg

The pizzas we ordered (Party and Family) were absolutely delicious, generously topped, piping hot, and looked very appetizing. Nothing was burnt or too greasy. Simply delicious. The chicken nuggets were also great. We didn't eat in; we ordered delivery. (As of July 2026)

Although the website (dated June 5th) states that you get 2 for 1 pizzas (even large ones), only one was delivered. On May 23rd, I received a 2 for 1 delivery. The delivery person simply said that offer only applies to small pizzas. End of story. Despite contacting them, I received no response. I feel cheated and will not be ordering from them again.

I always treat myself to cheeseburgers — and have been doing so for years. And yes, I still enjoy them every single time. :-)

They offer outstanding food and excellent service. The staff are incredibly friendly, warm, and respectful, making every customer feel like part of the family. I called and tried to place an order. Despite me clearly spelling out the address, the employee refused to understand the name. I told her to leave it alone and hung up with a "Have a nice evening." Shortly afterward, I received a call informing me that the pizzeria was filing a complaint against me for "disturbing" them, and that the call would be forwarded to their lawyer.

Be careful, not everything is fresh! That's all I'm saying!

Food's great, but a website error cost the driver his tip. Text: The food is as delicious as ever, but unfortunately, the website has a really annoying bug. I had exactly reached the minimum order value of €15.00. Despite this, the system blocked the order, claiming the minimum hadn't been reached. I had to add a drink I didn't even want just to get around the block. It's a real shame: because of this website error, the driver didn't get a tip, as I had to spend the money on the forced drink instead. Please fix this urgently! Enjoy your pizza!

The pizza was almost cold when it arrived. The pizzas also don't measure as advertised; they're significantly smaller. We never had any problems before, but unfortunately the quality has declined while the price has increased.

Very strange and unfriendly. I don't speak German very well and called to order something, and the woman on the phone was very rude. Then my friend took the phone and explained that I don't speak German very well, and then we were told, "Well, order somewhere else." 0 stars

The vegan pizza is soooo delicious! Finally, despite my lactose intolerance, I can eat such amazing pizza... Absolutely fantastic! 🍕 5 stars The staff is really warm and friendly. However, there's one thing that's a real faux pas, and that's the burgers. Unfortunately, they're truly inedible—like those cheap microwave burgers from Netto. The patty was just like cardboard, and the burger meat is made of some kind of unidentifiable, formed "meat" like a shoe sole, only softer—a dream for denture wearers. For the price, it's outrageous; it can be fresher and better. A shock because the pizza is so good. Thanks

The pizzas arrived quickly and were hot. They were also very tasty. But what surprised me most was the lady who answered the phone on Friday evening and took my order. How friendly was she?! 😍😍😍 I haven't experienced such kindness in a long time. Wonderful woman! Thank you so much. It warmed my heart. This was my first order ever, but definitely not my last!

I ordered something, and the delivery note said it would arrive in 1 hour and 11 minutes. It's been 3 hours now, and the food was supposed to have just arrived, but we didn't accept it because it was cold. Then you call them, and they say they don't have time to talk. Their excuse is that they're currently serving someone, they have a customer, but I'm not a customer myself, or something like that. It's ridiculous; these employees shouldn't be working there if they can't deal with people.

I had it delivered, my special request was honored, no bell was rung when asked, and the food was top quality. The cucumber salad wasn't worth it, but that's no surprise. The pizza is worth it, and the service is excellent.

The pizza arrived after 6 minutes, half-raw. The mushrooms weren't cooked through. Overall, it tasted and looked like a bad, ready-made pizza!

We ordered through Lieferando, the "Pizza Carbonara 2 for 1" offer. Unfortunately, one of the pizzas was bad – in the sense: something was off about it. It had a pungent, sour smell and tasted exactly that. The other pizza, however, was fine, as always. After we called to complain, we were given a more than rude response: "That couldn't be right, everything is always fresh, and if we had a problem, we'd have to come by ourselves." Which car, please? If we order through Lieferando, it's only logical that we can't pick it up ourselves. All we got was a lack of understanding, a lack of cooperation – and in the end, they just hung up. It's a shame. Mistakes can happen, but then you should own up to them and make amends. After all, that doesn't hurt anyone.

Today, at 9:37 p.m., while driving back to the restaurant, a delivery driver gave us the middle finger for no reason as he drove past, which shocked us deeply. He should be truly ashamed of himself because it's completely unacceptable and quite disrespectful. He was driving very dangerously and endangering other road users. This delivery driver is not to be recommended, and he shouldn't be spared any consequences.

I wanted to order via the Lieferando app, but then had questions. I called, asked, and was completely satisfied. The (most likely) manager there was able to help me out and even called back to make sure she understood it correctly. In the end, four satisfied and full friends 😆

Now I ate my mom's pizza, and it was a disaster. It was like it had been frozen and taken out. I was hungry, and again, I didn't eat it all. Is that always the case, or did I just happen to happen today?

I was more than pleasantly surprised! The food was fresh, incredibly delicious, and arrived piping hot – just as you'd expect. The portions are generous, and the value for money is absolutely spot on. I love this pizzeria; it always tastes so good, no matter what time or what time. All the staff are incredibly friendly, and the boss is especially commendable. Unfortunately, if anyone is expecting carbonara, they won't get the real thing. It's with tomato sauce, which isn't what you're hoping for. It still tasted delicious, as you can see from the picture. ⭐ 1 Star – Bad experience with Mama Pizza Unfortunately we had a very bad experience with Mama Pizza. We ordered 10 pizzas but only received 9. When we called to clarify the issue we were rudely told that the missing pizza would not be delivered and we could "do whatever we want". This behavior is completely unprofessional and customer-unfriendly. We have paid for a full order and are expecting delivery accordingly. But instead of offering a solution, our concerns were simply ignored. Very disappointing! We will definitely not order here again.

I ordered pizza from Mama for the second time - this time a pizza and a salad - and was thrilled again! The food was always fresh, hot and tasted great. I was particularly pleasantly surprised by the extremely fast delivery. Despite some negative voices I had heard, I can only confirm the opposite from my own experience. Tastes vary, but I recommend everyone to try it out for themselves!

I have ordered several times, always fast delivery, sometimes faster than stated. Food always arrived warm and it tasted really great. If you have any problems, you can simply call and you will be helped immediately. Very accommodating staff. The boss really tries everything and is always friendly! I will continue to order here. While passing through the city, I wanted lasagna, (to take away) however what a disappointment when my dish arrived, no look, no taste, really the worst experience of my life, a shame for Italian cuisine. My lasagna was frozen, all the ingredients had lost their flavor. I don't recommend this place at all, I should have looked at the reviews better, actually 3.1 isn't crazy.

Hey, I just ordered two pizzas and just had to write a review about the service. I've been to the restaurant several times and have always been treated great, so I want to give a big shout out to the woman who takes the orders (never before a person with such a big heart) and the kitchen that does such a good job (even when the shop is full). This is a pizzeria that I can never rule out, I can only recommend you to eat there. Top quality and price. :)

Very bad. The food was cold. The chilli cheese nuggets had no content. The burgers don't look appetizing, let's see how it tastes... the side dishes that I paid extra for that were supposed to be on the burger were also missing. Rip off, give me my money back

I ordered there via Lieferando. The delivery never arrived. We waited and at some point the email came way late that the delivery was supposedly delivered at 9:06 p.m. I will never order from this “delivery service” again. If you're hungry and don't want to wait until 12 at night, order somewhere else. I wish you could give 0 stars.

Pizza is good, salad is good - lasagne was ok in taste, but at least freshly prepared - which is not that common in some Italian restaurants anymore. Price/performance is good, the atmosphere is more like a snack bar than a restaurant. Staff friendly, tables and seats are clean. Service: Order at the counter and the food is then brought to you. No consumption of alcoholic beverages inside due to concession - so if you take a beer from the fridge (self-service) you can only take it with you but not drink it on site.

I ordered 4 pizzas to pick up. However, when I came to pick it up I was told that they hadn't received the order, so I just ordered it again on the spot. Then a little later the pizzas were delivered to us, even though we had just chosen to pick them up (we also received an email about it. We explained this to the delivery person, but he showed no understanding at all and insisted on the money. Unfortunately, it was a bad experience.

It is the worst place in Augsburg, they send me an incomplete order, it won't let me request it through the App because it appears as not yet delivered, I call them to inform them and they hang up on me all the time, I have paid for the order only to receive it incomplete, the pizzas are terrible condition, I really don't recommend it at all

It really can't be the case that I have to pay the full price if I pick it up myself because of the discount. This is really a rip off. If I pay €20 for a party pizza with pickup at Mama Pizza in Haunstetten, the ones on Donauwörther Straße charge €26 with pickup, what's the discount? Same pizza service, such differences with the same pizza service and pickup, equal to €6 more. Really disgraceful and a rip off. I'll look for another pizza service.

Eine sehr unfreundliche Chefin und telefonistin, nur weil sie nichts versteht was ein deutscher Mitbürger ihr versucht zu erklären was er bestellen möchte und sie immer den falschen nahmen versteht und einen fragt ob mann sicher ist das mann so heißt. Und dann einfach nur weil sie nicht klar kommt mit der deutschen Sprache jemand einen schönen abend wünsch und dann auflegt. Beim 2x Anruf behauptet sie fest das ich sie beleidigt habe obwohl ich nur versucht habe den nahmen zu buchstabieren und sie immer noch nicht verstanden hat. Legte sie wieder auf . Und so was arbeitet als telefonistin (Chefin) angeblich bei Mama Pizza. Werde ich nicht gut heißen und werde ich auch jedem abrufen und das sind sehr viele Menschen. Dies alles ist heute am 8.6.20014 um 21 20 passiert. Ich kann dazu nur sagen pfui dewel das ist Bayrisch falls sie das auch nicht verstehen. Pizza itself is very tasty and inexpensive, everyone is friendly and punctual, unfortunately the pizza underneath has been burnt twice.

I ordered there once and the food was for the ton. Today a friend of mine wanted to use the toilet and was refused with the statement: “We are not a public toilet!” It couldn’t be more unfriendly!

Terrible service, the manager can't talk to people, they interrupt and accuse you of being incompetent even when you calmly describe the problem. Doesn't respond to wishes. If you don't want to experience this yourself, order your pizza somewhere else. I ordered two large pizzas from Lieferando, but two small pizzas arrived, even though the app said they were two large ones. The manager didn't listen to the problem, blamed me and said it wasn't their problem. This act hurt me very much. We ordered there regularly but now we will never order again.

Pizza didn't arrive for 2 hours. I called after 1.5 hours and said the pizza was on the way. The gentleman on the phone was nice and apologized for the delay, but with a pizza that arrived 2 hours late and still cold in soggy boxes, I would have expected compensation, for example in the form of a discount or a free dessert or drink. It's a shame that no one comes up with the idea.

Die „Pizzeria“ liegt in der wunderschönen Stadt Augsburg. Zentral an der Wertachbrücke. Nach der Vorbestellung der „Pizzen“ traf ich in dem Laden ein. Das Ambiente erinnert an eine Fusion aus Shishabar und Spielhalle. Die Abholung verlief zügig und das Personal war sehr freundlich. Nach dem öffnen der Pizzakartons vernahm ich das die Pizza bereits mit dem Karton vereinigt war. Summa summarum gerne wieder der Preis ist halt unschlagbar. Was mein Magen dazu sagt…sehen wir morgen

Pizza ist erst nach 2 std gekommen. Geschmeckt hat sie auch nicht dann hat der Fahrer mein Getränk vergessen 1,5 Liter Eistee. Ich habe den Inhaber dann darauf angesprochen er wurde daraufhin sehr respektlos. Es hieß mein Getränk wird nach geliefert ist aber nie angekommen. Größte Betrüger laden wer dort bestellt ist selber schuld.

2 std Lieferzeit an Sonn und Feiertagen😮‍💨 Frechheit😤. Muss man mehr Personal einstellen. Essen aber immer gut!

Der Fahrer hat unseren Standort nicht gefunden und ist glatte 45 min zu spät gekommen. Ich meine wie kann sowas überhaupt passieren. Der ganze pizza karton war schon komplett eingeweicht. Aber die pizza an sich war auch nicht besser da einfach der belag gefällt hat DER BELAG ich meine seid ihr überhaupt eine bodenständige pizzeria wenn ihr den belag vergisst. Wenigsten hat der Lieferant es probiert zu retten

Schmeckt gut und 2 Pizza für 1 ist auch tolle Aktion EDIT: Nach 5 Jahren hat Mama Pizza stark nach gelassen es werden bestellte Sachen vergessen und Burger kommen kalt an. Wenn man anruft und sagt der Burger ist kalt wird einem entgegnet es könne ja nicht sein er wäre direkt raus aus dem Ofen zu mir als erstes Ziel. Quasi ich zieh mir das aus dem Ärmel. Sehr bedenkliche Vorgehensweise für mich meine letzte Bestellung.

Habe um 20:15 angerufen und die Bestellung aufgenommen sollte in 1 stk da sein habe mehrmals angerufen um zu fragen wo mein Essen ist keiner geht ran und ein Anrufbeantworter hörte ich beim anrufen das an Weihnachten nicht offen haben es ist August !! Zudem warte ich jetz über 2 Stunden und weis nicht wo mein Essen ist und ob es kommt fahre in den Urlaub und hab nichts im Kühlschrank Wen die es nicht schaffen Dan wenigstens eine email schreiben das es nicht geht mit der Bestellung jetzt hab ich nichts mehr zum Essen und neu bestellen geht auch nicht da es schon fast 23 Uhr ist Drecksladen !!!
