I love, love, love this restaurant. Every time I'm near Chemnitz, I try to eat here. The quality of the food and the friendly service have remained high over the years. My absolute highlight is the Manula plate. In summer, you can sit in the beer garden on the banks of the Chemnitz River.

Highly recommended, wonderfully aromatic food, both in the starters and main courses. Many others also make hummus/homos – here it simply tastes even more aromatic! The marinated grilled chicken makes your mouth water. The menu for two is plentiful and delicious. Friendly service. We'd be happy to go back!

There were three of us there this evening. Great service, super nice and funny waitress. Food 1a, everything with love and a really nice atmosphere. Absolute recommendation.

There were 12 of us sitting in a separate room. There we were kindly looked after by a woman our age. Everything was very relaxed. We had a menu and the food was plentiful and extremely tasty. With the menu you get a little bit of everything. Great. You don't have to worry about anything. Meanwhile, Mab looks at the lollypop. You could also park. There are enough things worth seeing in the area.

Can you go out to eat? But it's not my case. The meal, I had chicken strips with rice and sesame sauce. Unfortunately the sauce was a paste and so it was quite dry.

Malula - A feast for the senses A sunny Sunday afternoon in Chemnitz and thanks to the Happy Dinner Card we had the pleasure of visiting the Syrian restaurant Malula. As soon as we entered the restaurant we felt like we were in another world. The furnishings are lovingly designed and exude a warm, oriental charm. Although the restaurant was busy, we were warmly welcomed and shown to our table. The drink selection was refreshing and offered some typical Syrian specialties such as ayran and coffee with cardamom. The food was a poem! We chose a combination of starter, main course and dessert to get to know the diversity of Syrian cuisine. The Malula plate and the vegetarian plate are particularly recommended as they offer a good selection of different specialties. The dishes were all very tasty and enchanted our palate with interesting spices. Despite the full restaurant, the service was attentive and quick. We never had to wait long for our drinks or food and were always treated in a friendly and courteous manner. In terms of price, the Malula is absolutely fine. For what is on offer, the prices are more than fair. Conclusion: A visit to Malula is an absolute must for anyone who loves or wants to get to know Syrian cuisine. Everything is just right here: the food, the service, the atmosphere and the price. We'll definitely be back!

Great restaurant with very tasty food 😋 and great service. Above all, the cream cheese cream and the baked bread dough rolls filled with lamb are absolutely recommended as starters. I'm not actually a fan of lamb, but it tasted completely different than what I've ever tasted before and was simply delicious!

Food didn't come after 1 hour and 40 minutes, even though we were told it had to be there after 1 hour at the latest because of an upcoming concert. For other guests, the food on their plates at least looked delicious.

Unfortunately it's not worth more than one star to me. The restaurant was very busy today and the employees were busy. We were there at 6:00 p.m. and said right at the beginning that we had to leave at 7:30 p.m. Unfortunately the food wasn't ready by then. We only paid for the drinks because we had to go. I can only give credit to the boss for going along with it. So I can't say anything about the food. But I won't try it again. Too bad. All the best for the restaurant.

That was really a great experience again. The service was really really great! The food may take some getting used to for those who are not used to it, but also very tasty! Only the price is a big deal. So, if I come to Chemnitz again, I will definitely come here again. Absolute recommendation.

We were here for dinner yesterday and everything was just perfect. 👍🏻 We took the Malula menu for 25 euros per person so we didn't have to choose between the many delicious options, and that was the perfect decision. We had reservations for 5:30 p.m. Due to the rain, our previously planned afternoon walk gave way to eating cake. Our hunger also differs from our planning. When we asked whether we could split the €30 menu between two people, it was made very clear to us how much we would be happy with €15 per person. for food would disrupt the restaurant's Saturday evening sales. The food was delicious. But the unfriendly reception clearly dampened the mood of the evening. Don't come back.

I was at this restaurant for a birthday party. The dishes were perfect. I liked dishes with lamb best. Really excellent! The ambience is a bit specific, but it must be like that in a Syrian restaurant. I can recommend "Malula" to anyone who prefers high-quality and special dishes with lamb.

Hier gehen wir sehr gern essen. Unser Favorit ist der Malula-Teller. Bisher wurden wird wir immer freundlich empfangen und bedient. Das Essen hat immer sehr sehr gut geschmeckt und auch der Halloumi als Vorspeise ist sehr zu empfehlen. Einmal haben wir kein arabischer Fladenbrot (dass es sonst immer gab und alle anderen Tische auch erhielten) zum Essen bekommen, aber ansonsten war alles immer super. Vielen Dank.

Der Biergarten an der Chemnitz ist schön kühl, aber ungepflegt. Hier könnte man die hohen Gehölze beschneiden und hätte dann einen Blick auf den Fluß. Nahezu jeder Orientale kann Lammgehacktes- das Malula nicht. Total dünn geklopfte Scheiben aus dem Frost, hart und ohne jegliche Zartheit. Auch die Beilagen und die Dekoration sehr einfach und geschmacklos. Nie wieder.!!!!

Der Eingangsbereich zum Biergarten,nimmt einen direkt mit Verpackungmüll und zugewucherten Gebüsch in Empfang. Auch ansonsten ist der Biergarten eher uneinladend. Die Teller sind lieblos angerichtet und die Portion auf den Tellern eher mickrig. Die Falavel verbrannt. Der Salatteller mickrig und ungewürzt. Das Fleisch war eßbar allerdings viel zu wenig. Das Preisleistungsverhältniß dementsprechend nicht gerechtfertigt Wollten uns einen kulinarischen Abend gönnen,ist bedauerlicherweise nicht geglückt. Kann ich leider nicht weiter empfehlen.

Sehr freundliche Bedienung, der man abspürt, dass das Wohl der Gäste im Vordergrund steht. Auf Sonderwünsche wird ganz selbstverständlich eingegangen.

Heute wieder einmal besucht. Das Essen ist sehr gut, die Bedienung schnell und freundlich. Während des Essens hatten wir einen schönen Ausblick auf den Fluss. Preis-Leistung passen gut zusammen. Schade nur, dass es für einen Freitagabend doch sehr gering besucht war. Man kann es anderen Besuchern nur empfehlen.

Ich empfehle den vegetarischen Teller- Kostproben verschiedener Leckereien, welche die Geschmacksnerven anregen. Leider keine Schweinefleischgerichte, nur Lamm oder Hühnchenfleisch. Aber freundliche Bedienung. Und die Preise hielten sich auch noch in Grenzen.

Sehr lecker! Ich mag besonders die vielen Gewürze die das Essen einfach besonders machen. Vielfältig und reichlich ist es auch. Ich bin, auch mit Freunden, gerne öfter hier.

Malula ist ein wirklich tolles Restaurant. Die Kellnerin ist sehr freundlich und konnte uns bei Fragen zu den Gerichten super weiterhelfen. Großes Lob auch an die Küche-es sah sehr appetitlich aus und hat auch frisch und lecker geschmeckt. Wir kommen gern wieder vorbei.

Erster Eindruck beim betreten: Ich dachte ich bin in einem griechischen Restaurant. Bedienung war nicht gerade der freundlichste. Preislich ganz schön überteuert.

Sehr zu empfehlen. Das Essen ist lecker, das Personal fröhlich und das Restaurant gemütlich.

Leider nur zwei Gerichte mit Geflügel gefunden, sonst nur Lamm, Falafel und Humus Gerichte. Man merkt immer noch den Charme das der Vormieter ein griechisches Restaurant war. Ich denke mal das hat rein gar nichts mit Syrien zu tun. Der Kellner war nicht gerade besonders freundlich und aufmerksam, lag wahrscheinlich daran, das wir nur etwas getrunken haben und eine Nachspeise (leider war es statt Nummer 90 die 91) gegessen haben. Die Rechnung wurde OHNE Kassenbon bar abgerechnet.

Der Mürbeteig mit herzhafter Füllung - ein Traum. Wir sind begeistert 😍. Leckeres Essen, sehr sympathische Bedienung und immer wieder einen Besuch wert 💖
