SUPER RUDE STAFF (the Chinese lady). We didn’t make any reservations and we understand that we can either leave or just sit outside (even it was raining), she said no table inside FULL and we were asking her politely, how about outside table (although it was wet & another group of customer was about to leave), she COMPLETELY IGNORED and avoid any eye contact. This is so ridiculous.

Holy mama, the worst service at all! Very rude! Food tasteless…

The atmosphere was great, and the food was delicious. The female server was friendly and explained everything clearly. It was the best Chinese restaurant I've been to in Europe. My child and I ordered an extra dumpling because the portions were small, but we were still full.

I happened to pass by and had lunch alone at the bar. The service was very friendly and quick. The menu offers something for every taste, without pages of repetition. My rice noodle salad was perfect! The spicy, acidic, and sweet were perfectly balanced. I haven't happened upon such a good Vietnamese restaurant by chance in a long time. Highly and unreservedly recommended.

My first impression was that the lady at the entrance was very friendly. Unfortunately, when we sat down at the table, it was very dirty. You could still see lots of grease residue, even though the restaurant was fairly empty. It hadn't been mopped. The food was rather subpar. I was very disappointed.

For me, the best pork fried rice – I also definitely recommend the dumplings. A lovely, quiet restaurant. Highly recommended.

Maison Yang is one of my favorite restaurants in Munich. My family and I enjoy visiting here, and we've often shown the place to friends and relatives because we're always so impressed. So far, it's always been a success. The prices are fair, the food is absolutely amazing, and the staff is very friendly, albeit sometimes slow. The best place for authentic Asian food! I recommend the dumplings, xa xui, the curries, and, of course, tea, whether it's regular green tea or iced Thai tea; it all tastes delicious!

Beef dumplings were nice, the rest a bit disappointing. The service was okay, but they made us wait a long time to order and pay, for no apparent reason as everything seemed pretty chill. The price is reasonable considering the location, maybe just a little high.

Food was not as good as expected, the siu mai tasted like flavored flour. The Dumplings were average tasting, some are even undercooked. The service was below average, the server forgot my table and was even asking if I want to pay although I haven’t even eaten yet. The ambience however was good. The location is central.

Highly recommended! Hearty portions at super-competitive prices. We loved everything we tried, and in fact, we went back during our stay in Munich! The area is very quiet, and we didn't have to wait in line either day. The dining room opens onto a quiet and very pleasant interior courtyard, where they also set up a terrace for guests.

Super friendly service and a great atmosphere. The food was outstanding. I had the vegetarian dumplings and fried noodles with tofu, which were absolutely delicious.

Absolutely love the food and service. (Cant recall the name of the very friendly male staff) Decent pricing and will be back if time permits. Steamed fish - excellent albeit a little small Pork dumplings - okay but could be nicer if served with light soya sauce. (It came with peanut sauce) Wanton soup- wanton was flavourful and generous with pork. Char siew was authentic. If there was a dry chilli version will be great :) Thai milk tea - tasted more like milk tea rather than thai one but still good.

A small but very nice restaurant with fine cuisine. We eat there often, I would suggest a reservation for larger groups. Whether dumplings, curry, soup or fried and noodle dishes, everything is finely prepared and served quickly.

It’s beyond me how this place has gathered a high rating with such a bland food. We ordered 6 different dishes and nothing was even slightly tasty. No problem at all with service and atmosphere, maybe a good place to come for a drink but certainly not for food.

I had high expectations for this restaurant due to its excellent reviews. We visited around 1 PM on a weekday, and true to its high ratings, the place was packed with customers, both inside and outside, leaving no empty seats. After waiting, we were finally seated as the third group in the queue. The staff member managing the restaurant was handling everything by herself—seating guests, serving food, preparing drinks, processing payments, and attending to various inquiries. She appeared quite busy but consistently greeted customers with a bright smile, which was truly impressive. While her dedication and tireless effort were commendable, it was a bit unfortunate that, due to her heavy workload, food that had just finished cooking was not served immediately and ended up cooling down. The restaurant's décor, highlighted by a large sculpture, conveyed a distinctly Asian atmosphere. The food was not traditional Asian cuisine, but rather had a fusion twist to cater to local tastes. Nevertheless, I was able to appreciate the unique flavors and aromas of Asian cuisine, and overall, the taste was good.

Went for a quick late lunch after a whole day of walking through Marienplatz. We ordered the black bean udon and steamed fish along with the shrimp dumplings. Food tasted really nice. The portion in my opinion could be more but otherwise it was overall an excellent experience. Would highly recommend.

This place we experienced twice in a week during our Munich trip. We can say that the atmosphere is not bad, the WC consists of a single cabin, men and women sit in the same place. It's a place in the center where credit cards are accepted. A group of four people, two meat, two chicken noodles, three cokes and twelve dumplings cost 80 Euros in total. It doesn't have a lot of seating, it can serve about twenty people at a time but the service is a bit slow. Those who are interested may not be able to understand their speech clearly, may have accent or English problems.

Very good food and also a little more expensive than 5 months ago like everywhere else. Nice service but I haven't had the card leave the guest to pay for a long time. Worth coming again.

Very nice food. With a large tea selection even though it's not on the outside menu. The starters and the udon bowls were very tasty.

Had a fab time here. Last min booking - we chanced it with a walk in but I’d recommend booking in advance. Really great Thai food that’s authentic as anywhere in Thailand. Some dishes have a fair bit of heat so watch out for that. Everything we had was delicious. Would definitely return if we were staying longer in the city.

The food was really tasty, there's nothing to complain about. The service was nice, but unfortunately very inattentive and slow. After waiting 20 minutes we had to get the menu ourselves. The food also only came after what felt like an eternity, and we didn't get any cutlery either, we had to get it ourselves. Maybe it's just too much work for one person, especially during busy times.

We passed this restaurant on a warm summer evening. Very nice atmosphere in a secluded courtyard. The service as a whole needs improvement, there are hardly any questions and it is relatively slow, which also applies to the food preparation. In total we had to wait more than 45 minutes for the food. There is no criticism of the food itself. The taste is really sensationally good. Recommended from the standpoint, but you have to bring a lot of time!

The food here is very, very tasty. The staff is also very friendly. The restaurant is located between Marienplatz and Sendlinger Tor, ideal if you are looking for a quiet place to eat in the city center. “Pepper Onion Beef” is particularly recommended for everyone who likes spicy food.

The Maison Yang Restaurant is a true gem in the heart of Munich, ideally located between Marienplatz and Sendlinger Tor. Despite its central location, the restaurant looks like an oasis of calm in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the city. Although the interior is a bit small, Maison Yang's real treasure lies in its beautiful, tranquil courtyard, which you would hardly expect in this busy area. The small water fountain is particularly charming, giving the courtyard a relaxed and relaxing atmosphere. The food was excellent. We ordered dumplings which we really enjoyed. Although it took a little longer for the food to be served, the wait was absolutely justified because the taste was simply sensational. The service also left nothing to be desired. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, which made our visit even more pleasant. Overall, I can highly recommend Maison Yang.

I'm sorry but it should be avoided like the plague, I don't understand how it gets that rating. The beef curry arrived after 30 minutes with 3 small pieces of meat that were very hard to chew. Furthermore, the dish was very spicy even though there was no indication on the menu. They forgot the ravioli ordered as an appetizer and brought them along with the rest. To top it off, I asked to pay but after 10 minutes I had to get up to force the manager to make me pay. Please avoid and do not trust the reviews.

Testy, but we were waiting too long, and we couldn't pay with a card. However, stuff said that we could (the machine wasn't working), so we were waiting for the machine and, in the end, had to go to ATM (10 minutes from a cafe). So, if you don't have cash and don't have much time, it is better to choose something else l.

The food is ok, but the portions are below average and the service is extremely slow and nonsense. We've waited more than an hour for starters and the dishes arrived seperately with 5-10 minutes delays for us so not everyone at the table received it at once. For me the meal was too oily, but that can be personal prerence. On the other hand, the service is definitely slow and bad, and even the peak hours is not an excuse for that. Assuming a good service, it would have been a solid 4, but with this, it is a 2. Not recommended unless you want to spend 2.5 hours for a meal that should be 50 minutes.

Shrimp in the summer rolls weren't fresh, definitely won't be back.

While the food was absolutely delicious, the atmosphere was not. The patio was full of mice and half of my family has phobia for mice. Mice were running all over the outdoor dining space, under the tables. No one seemed bothered (both other clients and the waiters) but we had a hard time finishing our dinner. They said it’s normal. For me it’s not normal a restaurant that is full of mice all over the place. I asked to our hotel receptionist if it’s a common thing here in Münich and they answered it is absolutely not. I wrote this review just to let people who have phobias to not come to this place if they can’t stand the view of mice. Unfortunately we saw the first mice only after the plates were delivered to the table.

It tasted delicious!!! The udon noodles are sooooo delicious! We had it once as a large soup and once as a red curry with lots of fresh vegetables, both were really fantastic! The mango salad was also delicious and had just the right amount of spiciness. You sit nicely in a small courtyard, perfect for a break while shopping. Friendly and courteous service.

The thin noodle was good, the siew mai was very plain but that’s a to be expected somehow in Germany 😅 so not a surprise. However the place was very comfy and quiet. Service was also great. We had two lemonade ginger and it was so good too!

Unfortunately, the food wasn't particularly tasty and wasn't as beautifully presented as in other Vietnamese restaurants. The soup tasted bland, the meat looked like kebab and was not of good quality. The service was okay, relatively slow, more friendliness would be nice. Long wait for the starter (45 min). However, the ambience is convincing: the green courtyard is quiet and a great place to relax.

Maison Yang offers authentic cuisine with friendly service. It is located in the beautiful Asam Farms. The tables on the terrace are placed around a fountain, which provides additional cooling when it is hot.
