Sehr leckeres, authentisches Essen in guter Auswahl, großzügige Portionen und nette Atmosphäre (im Sommer: auch draußen; unter der Woche abends eher wenig besucht), in zentraler Lage in Heroldsberg (trotzdem gute Parkmöglichkeiten), guter Service, mittlere Preislage - empfehlenswert!

Wir waren inzwischen vier- oder fünfmal im Mai Thai in Heroldsberg und sind jedes Mal beeindruckt von der konstant hohen Qualität. Die Gerichte sind frisch, aromatisch und fein abgestimmt – nicht einfach „scharf“, sondern wirklich authentisch gewürzt. Man merkt, dass hier mit Können und Sorgfalt gekocht wird. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die gleichbleibende Qualität: Egal ob unter der Woche oder am Wochenende – Geschmack, Präsentation und Service sind zuverlässig auf einem sehr guten Niveau. Das Restaurant selbst ist angenehm ruhig und gemütlich, ohne aufgesetzt zu wirken. Für uns eines der besten thailändischen Restaurants im Großraum Nürnberg. Absolute Empfehlung – wir kommen immer wieder gern.

Das Essen ist wirklich sehr sehr lecker und das Personal super freundlich. Waren schon öfter dort essen oder haben etwas abgeholt. Absolut 5-Sterne gerechtfertigt

Wir haben hier schon öfter bestellt und waren geschmacklich bisher immer sehr zufrieden – das Essen war stets lecker. Allerdings sind die Preise in letzter Zeit extrem gestiegen. Trotzdem haben wir uns heute wieder einmal dazu entschieden, hier zu bestellen. Als Vorspeise hatte ich Frühlingsrollen für 7 €. Früher bekam man dafür drei große, frisch schmeckende und sehr leckere Frühlingsrollen. Dieses Mal wurden jedoch Tiefkühl-Frühlingsrollen geliefert, die hart und trocken waren. Für eine solche Qualität 7 € zu verlangen, finde ich ehrlich gesagt eine Frechheit. Sehr schade, da wir das Restaurant eigentlich gern mochten. Bei den aktuellen Preisen erwarte ich definitiv eine bessere Qualität.

Wir waren letzten Freitag mittags zum ersten Mal im Mai Thai in Heroldsberg essen. Die Speisen sind zwar nicht gerade billig - die Gerichte haben jedoch authentisch und ausgezeichnet geschmeckt und die Portionen waren großzügig bemessen. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis war daher in Ordnung. Wir wurden von der Inhaberin bedient. Diese war überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend und hatte stets ein Lächeln im Gesicht. Auch das Ambiente im Restaurant war sehr ansprechend. Ich kann das Mai Thai jederzeit weiterempfehlen.

Sehr freundlicher Service, Essen gut. Gerichte wurden schön angerichtet. Lokal ist hübsch eingerichtet, insgesamt aber dezent. Es gibt auch Spritz-Getränke als Aperitif.

We have ordered here many times. Unfortunately, in recent times the prices have become more and more expensive, while at the same time the quality of the food has continued to decline. Today the rice was so hard that we had to complain about it. Since we had already spread the curry over the rice, we would logically have needed it again. Unfortunately, all we were offered was a new cup of rice, which we can now eat just as dry. We are really very disappointed with the service, so unfortunately this was our last order today.

We enjoyed going to Mai Thai often. In the meantime the prices have been increased to such an extent that the price-performance ratio is no longer right! Especially the drinks: e.g. 4.20 EUR for O.4 juice spritzer. Also the dishes, for example a standard curry with tofu now costs just under 18.00; Duck charges EUR 23.00. A so-called doggy bag costs extra. Simply far too expensive for a restaurant in Heroldsberg with average ambience and service. We won't come anymore.

15€ for “fried rice with vegetables” for lunch, which doesn’t even taste really good, is extortionate!

It used to be great, but somehow something has changed. The food was exceptionally good a while ago and we drove there from far away. About a year ago something changed, the food was served differently, new staff, and the food was no longer as tasty as it used to be. Now a normal Asian for me, with very high prices. We don't go there anymore.

Friendly service, good food 👍... There's something for everyone...including vegetarian and vegan .....however, some background music is missing. Portion is decent. If you're just a little hungry, you should take a storage container with you. You can also get it in the restaurant, it costs €1

I've eaten here twice so far and both times I felt a bit uncomfortable with the service. This can of course be a subjective perception, but it somehow gave me the impression that she was bothered by serving the guests. She wasn't unfriendly, but rather reserved and just not personable. The food was good and also plentiful. Even if the salad garnish took up a relatively large part of the plate. Unfortunately, we were asked to pay both times because the time was already a bit advanced and the restaurant was closing. All in all, it was tasty and the ambience was nice, but because of the bad aftertaste from the service, I probably won't be drawn to Mai Thai again anytime soon.

We were passing through and the coincidence brought us to this restaurant.. we were very excited, everything is freshly cooked and the coolest thing is that the chefs are professionals from Thailand.. you can taste that.. we'll be happy to come back, love the quality and service

We ordered to be picked up - the food was ready on time, quickly and freshly prepared. We had Laab, a curry and vegetables with cashew nuts. Everything tasted super delicious. The service was really nice. The prices have recently been increased - as they are now everywhere in the catering industry. But you also get top quality here! We were completely satisfied.

Boring - if you're looking for authentic Thai cuisine you'll be disappointed here. The taste of the curry didn't remind me of food from Thailand. To me it tasted Germanized, not bad, but boring. It's a shame because the service and the ambience are convincing.

We have been in this Thai restaurant in Herodsberg multiple times. It is good, but we found it better when it opened some years ago and have been a little bit disappointed the last times. Still recommended if you like Thai but for this price there are better options in our opinion.

Really delicious and fresh dishes. There is always a separate bowl of rice so you can always put fresh rice on your plate and divide it into portions 🙌🏻

We were here for the first time at the weekend and had a great evening with friends in a relaxed atmosphere. The starter, main course and dessert were very tasty, as was the greeting from the kitchen. There is a very large selection of Thai dishes, very nice service and prices are also reasonable for the high quality food. We'd love to come back.

Sehr schönes Restaurant. Das Essen war super lecker und scharf ist auch wirklich scharf 👍 Nicht zu eng gestellt, man sitzt sehr schön.

Waren schon oft bei euch aber ihr lasst leider nach! Portionen merklich kleiner , ein Viertel des eh nicht grossen Tellers nimmt jetzt Deko in Form von Krautsalat ein! Das Huhn war leider zäh, am Nachbartisch lag am Boden Fleisch, da wir die ersten Gäste heute waren,.muss das von gestern sein, am Nebentisch klebte noch Reiss an der Sitzbank😬! Schlechte Sauberkeit, die Fenster waren dreckig! 15.90euro für eine magere Portion mit der billigsten Variante sprich Huhn und 4.50 Euro für ein Bier! Für uns jetzt zu teuer auch wegen der kleineren Portionen! ,.

Das Essen ist geschmacklich gut und auch von guter Qualität. Allerdings sind mir 20 Euro für ein paar Stücke Entenfleisch und ein wenig Gemüse mit Reis einfach viel zu teuer. So knusprig und hochwertig war das Fleisch dann leider auch nicht Hoffentlich war es dann wenigstens Fleisch von einer glücklichen Ente 🦆

Super gutes thailändische Restaurant. Das Essen schmeckt ausgezeichnet, das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Einrichtung gefällt mir ebenfalls, einen Pubktabzug gibt's, da keine Musik gespielt wird. Das ist für mich persönlich wichtig und würde die Atmosphäre im Restaurant noch authentischer wirken lassen. Ansonsten Daumen hoch!

Ich kann dieses Restaurant nur empfehlen. Freundlicher Service und hervorragendes Essen. Sowohl Vorspeise, wie auch Hauptgericht gewürzmäßig hervorragend abgeschmeckt. Sämtliche Aromen kann man schmecken, und auch wenn man ein scharfes Gericht bestellt, ist dies nicht nur scharf, sondern der Grundgeschmack von Sauce, Fleisch und Gemüse ist immer noch schmeckbar. Bitte weiter so. Man kann das Restaurant nur empfehlen. Die schlechten Rezensionen kann ich nicht nachvollziehen.

Die 5 Sterne sind berechtigt. Das Essen im Mai Thai ist hervorragend, reichlich und ohne Glutamat. Gute thailändische Küche. Das Personal ist zuvorkommend und sehr freundlich. Preis-Leistung stimmt.

Wir waren im Urlaub hier essen und absolut begeistert! Sehr leckeres Essen, das Gemüse war komplett frisch und alles war heiß und genau richtig gewürzt. Service auch sehr nett! Absolute Empfehlung!

Sehr leckerer Thailänder. Nettes Personal und faire Preise. Die Auswahl ist super und man kann verschiedene Proteinquellen zu den Gerichten wählen. Auch für Vegetarier gibt es jede Menge Auswahl. Es gibt auch einen vergünstigten Mittagstisch.

Leider gibt es in Nürnberg und Umgebung nicht mehr so viele thailändische Restaurants. Dises Thai-Restaurant in Heroldsberg ist ein gemütlichen Ort zum Essen. Der Service war äußerst freundlich und aufmerksam, was wir auch festgestellt haben, als wir telefonisch unsere Ankunftszeit verschieben mussten. Das Essen wurde in angemessener Zeit serviert. Die Mini-Frühlingsrollen waren leider durchschnittlich. Dafür habe ich das Panäng Curry mit Tofu sehr genossen und kann dieses empfehlen! Das Gäng Mai Thai mit Mango war ebenfalls sehr lecker und fruchtig, hatten die Variante nur mit Gemüse. Wir haben Reis nachbestellt, dieser wurde zügig gebracht. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war angemessen und es gab ausreichend Parkplätze auf einem kleinen Parkplatz schräg gegenüber des Restaurants. Komme auf jeden Fall wieder nach Heroldsberg und probiere mal die Pad Thai Nudeln 😊

Die Suppe Nr 16 schmeckt hervorragend, ist aber mit über 5 Euro zu teuer für die Größe. Gebratene Nudeln Nr 29 super lecker. Sogar bisschen scharf, die Karte spricht sogar von sehr scharf. Ansichtssache. Allerdings sieht man auf dem Foto, dass ein Drittel des Tellers die Deko einnimmt. Sprich: die Portion ist gut 1/3 zu klein. Ohne Suppe wird man nur schwer satt. Somit dann leider auf Grund der zu kleinen Portion zu teuer.

Absolut leckeres Essen schmeckt wie in Thailand. Freundlicher Service.

Essen super. Verschiedene Gericht von gar keiner Schärfe bis sehr scharf und auch was dazwischen. Alle Hauptgerichte wahlweise mit Hühnchen, Rind, Scampi, Tofu oder vegetarisch. Sehr freundlich Ambiente super. Waren gleich 2 mal an 2 Tagen da. Und ich werde wieder kommen.
