Taste of India has only just opened, so there weren't that many people, which dampens the atmosphere a bit. But otherwise everything was great: delicious food and friendly staff. We had delicious Samosas for starters and an eggplant curry and lamb tikka massala afterwards. Delicious and spacious enough. Definitely worth a meal when you are in the area.

The food is really tasty...you can also order Italian food or German cuisine. All delicious and affordable. Nice service and ALWAYS a seat available for me.

I'm so sorry to have to write something so mean, but last night was so terrible that I have to say it now. First of all: The staff was very nice, but that doesn't justify what we experienced. So: We went to the buffet at 7 p.m. The table we sat at was messy. There were napkins everywhere that weren't cleaned up until the end. Cutlery was also missing, except for knives, which were also not put away. Now about the buffet: We don't eat meat, but the vegetarian offering was so poor that we almost ate meat. There were three Indian vegetarian dishes that REALLY tasted like nothing. They were just cream heavy and all tasted the same. Spices were completely missing. I know Indian dishes with garlic, coconut, cashew, garam masala, curry, garlic, cumin, ginger, chickpeas, fenugreek, allspice, cardamom... but here there was absolutely nothing. It was just tomato sauce with cream. Dish 1: Dal. This consisted only of lentils in red tomato sauce without spices, but with cream. Dish 2: Paneer. A bit of cheese in red tomato sauce, without spices. But with cream. Dish 3: Vegetables in red tomato sauce, without cream but again without spices. I've never added seasoning in a restaurant, but here too: our salt shaker was empty, so my partner had to steal the salt shaker from the next table, which was also empty. On the third try he caught a full salt shaker. What was even worse were the empty warming containers - you had to literally scrape out the food, even the rice. With all vegetarian dishes you had to be careful to leave at least a spoonful for others. And what are spaghetti with sweet and sour sauce, gyros in tomato sauce or Bolognese doing in an Indian restaurant? I can overlook the 10-12 fries and wedges for any small guests. There was no naan bread, there were no samosas, there was nothing fried. Food was hardly or not refilled at all, even the one with meat was almost empty. Why wasn't there anything with curry for vegetarians? Doesn't Indian cuisine rely on spices, legumes, dough dishes, nuts, etc.? The staff was overwhelmed, I understand that, but when I'm understaffed I don't offer buffet on so many days. Or I'll hire more people, or leave the buffet altogether. But ~23€ for a disaster is disproportionate and outrageous. Since we could see our displeasure because we wanted to leave the restaurant after 10 minutes, which was a first for us, we were given a waiver of drinks. Yes, nice, but I would have at least skipped a meal. Within 10 minutes we ate 2 plates that were barely filled; because there were neither options nor quantity. It must also be said that the metal lids of the warming containers were incredibly annoying because there was hardly any storage space and the condensation dripped everywhere. And what I also have to say: It may be that the Indian food has been adapted to the European palate, but then I wouldn't go on about the exorbitant variety on the website. And I also understand that spices and dough dishes are expensive and time-consuming, but there are good, inexpensive spice mixtures and baking or frying options available wholesale; Naan is now available in every supermarket and can be baked - if customer satisfaction is not important to you, they offer a buffet of this kind. So no, that was our last time. We then went to Burger King.

I ate Pasta Alla Chef again today!! This is number 112!! Because it's so delicious, I always get two portions. New assessment: Ordering there for years... Now no more delivery!!! If you don't need it... you'll lose loyal customers!! A joke, that doesn't work at all, This is NOT how you treat customers!!! Recommendation: Order somewhere else - impudence

The Indian restaurant in Vienenburg is absolutely outstanding! The host is incredibly accommodating and attentive, which makes the dining experience even more enjoyable. As someone who travels a lot in Germany for work, I can unreservedly recommend this restaurant to everyone. The quality of the food is simply unbeatable and the price-performance ratio is excellent. I would even go so far as to say it is the best Indian restaurant I have ever eaten at. Definitely worth a visit!

The food is delicious. I think the price is a bit too high for the size of the portions. The service is nice, but one person is not enough on a Friday evening. (Long waiting times, no drinks in advance to pass the time, long wait for bill) Nevertheless, we would come back here just because of the delicious food. The ambience could be more comfortable, but that too is in the eye of the beholder.

Friends recommended the restaurant to us. Oh well. The buffet was okay in terms of quantity, but nothing special. There was hardly any vegetarian food. The sauces somehow all tasted the same. It sometimes took a long time to refill the dishes, even though initially only two tables were occupied. So there's still room for improvement...

Great Indian cuisine, nice service. I would almost call it an insider tip. The interior could use some touch ups but the food takes the cake.

Food (buffet) was delicious, but we had the buffet including drinks, unfortunately the Alster tasted like washing up water. Unfortunately there were hardly any visitors on Friday evening, so the atmosphere wasn't that nice. Despite everything, we'll go again!

Even though the shop was very full, we were still spontaneously welcomed at Christmas and helped out with a salad. Very friendly service. Salad was very tasty! We previously tried it in a German restaurant and were coldly turned away in an unfriendly manner. The Maharaja Palace has definitely won us over as a customer!

Super lecker essen und grosse Portionen. Ich war heute hier mit mein Kindern und Enkelkindern.

Es ist schlicht und einfach gehalten, das Buffet ähnelt einer Kantine. Mir/ uns hat es geschmeckt, aber irgendwie hat das Gemüse gefehlt. Das Salat Buffet hat uns gar nicht angesprochen. Auf Getränke mussten wir länger warten, obwohl kaum Gäste da waren.

Es war einfach alles super, das Ambiente die Bedienung und vor allem das Essen. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und begeistert und werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Meine Frau und ich gehen jeden 2 Monat zum Restaurant maharaja-palast. Wir essen eigentlich immer das Buffet und sind jedes Mal vollkommen zufrieden. Viele denken immer es wäre sehr scharf aber das ist es nicht ,es ist sehr angenehm für mich persönlich ginge es viel schärfer aber auch dann wird ihnen geholfen,das Personal ist top ,es ist eine angenehme Atmosphäre und diese familiäre Stimmung sorgt dafür daß man einfach jedesmal gerne hingeht. Preis Leistung ist auch top und wie man es herausliest ich gehe gerne dahin und kann es nur zu 100% weiter empfehlen

Wir (2 Erw. & 2 Kinder) waren Sonntag zum Mittagsbuffet da. Ambiente war gemütlich, das Personal freundlich und die Auswahl am Buffet vollkommen ausreichend. Das indische Essen hat uns super geschmeckt und richtig toll war das frisch gebackene Brot, das am Tisch gereicht wurde. Überbackenes Gyros oder Nudeln mit Hackfleischsauce hätte es aus unserer Sicht nicht gebraucht. Lieber noch etwas indisches mit Fisch 🐟. Bei den Toiletten sollte aber definitiv mal saniert bzw. grundgesäubert werden. Das geht gar nicht..... Als Fazit bleibt aber festzuhalten, dass wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt haben und sicher wiederkommen werden!!

Heut' in großer Runde Essen gewesen.. Es war super frisch und super lecker. Tolles Preis Leistung. Super Personal... Kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Wir sind Veganer und wurden bestens beraten und auch achtsam bewirtet worden. Das Essen hat sensationell lecker geschmeckt. Sogar den Chai Tee hab es mit Kokosmilch. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Genuinely a fantastic Indian restaurant with great food, reasonable prices and lovely staff. Couldn't recommend more. (We also got a takeaway pizza for one of the party who didn't join us and it was also good).
