You'd be surprised how an authentic taste can be found in Harz.

The only positive thing is the delivery time. That was good. Otherwise, there's nothing positive to say, unfortunately! Some of the food was inedible, and there were no spices! For that price, I expect more, much more! NEVER AGAIN!!! Indian food is different!

Taste is subjective, but that's not the point. We ordered a platter for two: four different meats and fish. 1. The rice was cold! (Cold as COLD!) 2. One tomato sauce served with all the dishes. Also REALLY COLD! 3. The lamb was dry, like it had been reheated five times. The fish was okay. The meat was lukewarm and also dry. 4. The sliced ​​red cabbage served as an appetizer was definitely dried out from at least the day before! 5. The wait was incredibly long. 6. The ambiance was just okay. 7. The cleanliness was barely acceptable. I wanted to try Indian food once in my life, but I've completely lost my appetite. Maybe it would have been different somewhere else. :( Unfortunately, we can't recommend it. This was the worst experience we've had in Goslar. What a shame.

Delicious food with varying levels of spiciness. Polite waiter. Amusing prices with two decimal places, e.g., chili chicken for €17.58 :-) An Indian 0.33l beer at €4.99 was a bit too expensive for my taste, but many people have become completely desensitized to inflation these days. In any case, a great restaurant with reasonable prices for very good quality. I'd gladly come again!

But even guests who prefer a milder approach to Indian dishes will find plenty to enjoy. The ambiance is stylish, and the service is attentive. Highly recommended!

Yesterday was my first time eating here with four people. The restaurant was packed; you absolutely need a reservation! The food is really delicious, and you can choose between spice levels 1 to 5 (I had level 3, which was "really" spicy 🥵) 👌❗️

Each dish had a different flavor profile (four different dishes) and scored points with its spiciness, which everyone could adjust to their liking when ordering. This is my go to Indian restaurant in Goslar, has never disappointed me and I’m eating here since 2 years. The taste is authentic and I would recommend any curry (dal makhni, palak paneer, etc.) over biryanis. Must visit and the staff is also very friendly and always trying to make you feel comfortable!!

I'm only giving this one-star review because it's impossible without one, but this restaurant doesn't get one at all. I didn't even get a chance to eat there because the waitress couldn't correctly write down the reservation. There were nine people, including one severely disabled person in a power wheelchair. We were looking forward to a lovely evening at an Indian restaurant for my birthday. But it was a no-go. And according to the waitress, it was our own fault. I won't recommend this restaurant to anyone, and I won't be going back.

We happened upon the Laddu Gopal Indian Restaurant, a little insider tip, a bit hidden, but absolutely worth a visit. The smell alone drew us in, and we weren't disappointed: super friendly service and incredibly delicious food, including vegan options. Highly recommended!

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of visiting an Indian restaurant that impressed me in every way. From the moment I entered, I felt warmly welcomed – the staff were extremely friendly and attentive, without being intrusive. The service was simply perfect, from the moment I greeted me to the moment I left. The meal was a real highlight. I was particularly impressed by the butter chicken, which was incredibly tender and served in a wonderfully creamy, aromatic sauce. Every forkful was a delight, perfectly paired with wonderfully fluffy naan bread. After the main course, I had a mango lassi, which rounded off the evening perfectly. The freshness and sweet, fruity notes were simply heavenly. Overall, it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. This restaurant truly knows how to delight its guests with culinary delights and top-notch service. I highly recommend it and am already looking forward to my next visit!

We ordered a bit of everything: a few starters, one main course each, and dessert. We weren't impressed with the soup at all; they all tasted like dishwater and were almost impossible to swallow. One of them was supposed to have chicken in it, but neither the taste nor the consistency suggested it. The spoon also tasted like it had been cleaned with glass cleaner. The other starters were good and very tasty. Some of the breads were just very chewy, compared to the others, which were moist and fluffier. The main courses were delicious; we had something with lamb, which was also very tender; you could mash it with your tongue on the roof of your mouth. But despite asking how spicy it should be, and despite mentioning it several times, we only got very mild dishes. The desserts were so-so. The rice pudding was delicious, but the cake reminded us of everything but cake, neither visually nor in taste. The ambiance was also less than satisfactory; everything looked a bit dirty upon closer inspection. The tablecloths had been stained with sauce from previous guests, and quite a bit, and it stayed that way. There were also quite a few flies in the restaurant. The service took quite a long time, despite repeated requests. Furthermore, I personally find it a bit rude that they reach across the table right in front of you and put their arm in your face to take something or put it down instead of placing it at the front of the table. Ultimately, we left the restaurant with stomach problems, including nausea and other symptoms; the experience was anything but satisfactory.

We had a pleasant visit! The beer was very well tapped – nice and fresh and at the perfect temperature. The food was okay, perhaps could have used a bit more refinement in terms of flavor, but overall solid. We particularly enjoyed the Indian music in the background, which created a lovely, authentic atmosphere. The service was very quick and attentive. The ambiance was also really nice – cozy and harmoniously decorated. We'd love to come back, especially because of the great service and relaxed atmosphere!

Of all the Indian restaurants we've eaten at in the area (and actually throughout Germany), this is our favorite. Authentic Indian cuisine, very friendly staff, and a great selection of dishes. There are plenty of options for vegetarians and vegans, and so far, we've enjoyed everything we've tried. We highly recommend the Thali sets, which are perfect for trying out several dishes. Unreserved recommendation and a clear 5 stars!

Finding good indian food can become very difficult very quickly. We were here for our dinner walking around in Goslar, the place looked cozy and interesting jugaad decor(saying this in a positive way). And the food was great with nice level of spices. All in all, nice find in Goslar :)

I’m from Malaysia and I approve. The cozy atmosphere adds a special charm, perfect for a relaxing meal. Highly recommend trying their punjabi thali and chicken biryani. They even gave extra chicken masala for us to try, it was to die for! If you’re craving Indian cuisine, this is definitely the place to go. Can’t wait to come back!

It is very narrow in the restaurant, there should probably be enough space for a lot of tables. There's also the Laddu Goosl in Wolfsburg, which we also like to go to, it's always great.
