Yesterday was my first time eating here with four people. The restaurant was packed; you absolutely need a reservation! The food is really delicious, and you can choose between spice levels 1 to 5 (I had level 3, which was "really" spicy 🥵) 👌❗️

A true delight. The food was delicious; we had four main courses and were very satisfied. Each dish had a different flavor profile (four different dishes) and scored points with its spiciness, which everyone could adjust to their liking when ordering. The way it was served was particularly noteworthy. Everyone received a small warmer with their main course hot, along with a shared bowl of rice and naan bread. The service was very friendly and attentive. Thank you.

This is my go to Indian restaurant in Goslar, has never disappointed me and I’m eating here since 2 years. The taste is authentic and I would recommend any curry (dal makhni, palak paneer, etc.) over biryanis. Must visit and the staff is also very friendly and always trying to make you feel comfortable!!

Very tasty food, generous portions, and friendly staff. Sometimes, if you don't listen closely, it's a bit difficult to understand, but that's just their accent. I was thoroughly satisfied. They also check in with guests every now and then to see if everything is okay. Highly recommended. You don't have to wait long, and the food arrives piping hot. Always happy to come back. We'll definitely be back.

Delicious Indian food in Goslar

A great Indian restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere and friendly hosts. We stuffed ourselves and enjoyed every bite!

I'm only giving this one-star review because it's impossible without one, but this restaurant doesn't get one at all. I didn't even get a chance to eat there because the waitress couldn't correctly write down the reservation. There were nine people, including one severely disabled person in a power wheelchair. We were looking forward to a lovely evening at an Indian restaurant for my birthday. But it was a no-go. And according to the waitress, it was our own fault. I won't recommend this restaurant to anyone, and I won't be going back.

We happened upon the Laddu Gopal Indian Restaurant, a little insider tip, a bit hidden, but absolutely worth a visit. The smell alone drew us in, and we weren't disappointed: super friendly service and incredibly delicious food, including vegan options. Highly recommended!

They were two people too few for my reservation and ignored my request for a ground-level table (wheelchair accessible). My mom's 60th birthday was ruined.

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of visiting an Indian restaurant that impressed me in every way. From the moment I entered, I felt warmly welcomed – the staff were extremely friendly and attentive, without being intrusive. The service was simply perfect, from the moment I greeted me to the moment I left. The meal was a real highlight. I was particularly impressed by the butter chicken, which was incredibly tender and served in a wonderfully creamy, aromatic sauce. Every forkful was a delight, perfectly paired with wonderfully fluffy naan bread. After the main course, I had a mango lassi, which rounded off the evening perfectly. The freshness and sweet, fruity notes were simply heavenly. Overall, it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. This restaurant truly knows how to delight its guests with culinary delights and top-notch service. I highly recommend it and am already looking forward to my next visit!

We ordered a bit of everything: a few starters, one main course each, and dessert. We weren't impressed with the soup at all; they all tasted like dishwater and were almost impossible to swallow. One of them was supposed to have chicken in it, but neither the taste nor the consistency suggested it. The spoon also tasted like it had been cleaned with glass cleaner. The other starters were good and very tasty. Some of the breads were just very chewy, compared to the others, which were moist and fluffier. The main courses were delicious; we had something with lamb, which was also very tender; you could mash it with your tongue on the roof of your mouth. But despite asking how spicy it should be, and despite mentioning it several times, we only got very mild dishes. The desserts were so-so. The rice pudding was delicious, but the cake reminded us of everything but cake, neither visually nor in taste. The ambiance was also less than satisfactory; everything looked a bit dirty upon closer inspection. The tablecloths had been stained with sauce from previous guests, and quite a bit, and it stayed that way. There were also quite a few flies in the restaurant. The service took quite a long time, despite repeated requests. Furthermore, I personally find it a bit rude that they reach across the table right in front of you and put their arm in your face to take something or put it down instead of placing it at the front of the table. Ultimately, we left the restaurant with stomach problems, including nausea and other symptoms; the experience was anything but satisfactory.

We had a pleasant visit! The beer was very well tapped – nice and fresh and at the perfect temperature. The food was okay, perhaps could have used a bit more refinement in terms of flavor, but overall solid. We particularly enjoyed the Indian music in the background, which created a lovely, authentic atmosphere. The service was very quick and attentive. The ambiance was also really nice – cozy and harmoniously decorated. We'd love to come back, especially because of the great service and relaxed atmosphere!

Of all the Indian restaurants we've eaten at in the area (and actually throughout Germany), this is our favorite. Authentic Indian cuisine, very friendly staff, and a great selection of dishes. There are plenty of options for vegetarians and vegans, and so far, we've enjoyed everything we've tried. We highly recommend the Thali sets, which are perfect for trying out several dishes. Unreserved recommendation and a clear 5 stars!

Finding good indian food can become very difficult very quickly. We were here for our dinner walking around in Goslar, the place looked cozy and interesting jugaad decor(saying this in a positive way). And the food was great with nice level of spices. All in all, nice find in Goslar :)

Went there spontaneously and got a place, traveling as a couple. The service is great and friendly, the atmosphere was traditional, the food was great, if we're in the area again we'll come back.

Amazing Authentic Indian Food in Goslar Ladu Gopal Restaurant is a hidden gem in Goslar! The food is flavorful, authentic, and beautifully presented. From the rich curries to the fresh naan, everything tasted like it was made with love. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. I’m from Malaysia and I approve. The cozy atmosphere adds a special charm, perfect for a relaxing meal. Highly recommend trying their punjabi thali and chicken biryani. They even gave extra chicken masala for us to try, it was to die for! If you’re craving Indian cuisine, this is definitely the place to go. Can’t wait to come back!

Very typically Indian, delicious food, attentive service, reasonable prices. Parking spaces available at the house or in the underground car park. It is very narrow in the restaurant, there should probably be enough space for a lot of tables. There's also the Laddu Goosl in Wolfsburg, which we also like to go to, it's always great.

Indians are our choice when it comes to Indian. Both the vegetarian/vegan selection and the meat version are super delicious. Service and ambience is great. Quality often varies greatly. Hence the deduction. Overall, a great restaurant that clearly stands out from others.

You can choose between different levels of spiciness and also get a small bowl for sharpening. 100% recommendation! There were four of us having lunch here, so it wasn't very crowded. First there was bread with various dips. The food came relatively quickly and was fantastic! You can choose the level of spiciness from 1 to 5 (attention! Level 2 is usually already spiciness enough for Germans :D). Rice and naan bread were included with the main courses and were also refilled upon request. Great service, great food and all in all a lovely stay. We'd love to come back! :)

On Friday I finally made it to “Laddu Gopal” for the first time with a friend. It was one of the best visits to an Indian restaurant so far for both of us. The price-performance ratio is definitely right here. Very happy again. 😊👍🏻🍽 I had reserved a table online about two weeks in advance via the website, which we occupied promptly at 5:00 p.m. for the start of the evening opening time. We were the first guests. The service was very friendly and attentive. The wait for the food wasn't too long. The waiter easily knew how to handle the voucher from the voucher book. The restaurant is nicely furnished and has its own charm. The lighting outside and inside is definitely a matter of taste. As the restaurant became increasingly full, the noise level also increased noticeably. In addition, your clothes may smell a little more strongly of food after your visit. For starters we shared fried prawns and garlic naan bread. 🧄 Both were very good. 😋👍🏻 The shrimp were also quite large. 🍤 For the main course, my companion had a chicken dish in sauce, which she really enjoyed. I had lamb from the tandori. It was very tasty, plentiful and flavorful as well as tender. 😋👍🏻 Unfortunately only one piece was a bit very tough. We both had basmati rice, which we also got delivered again when our bowl was empty. For the spiciness, we both chose level 2 out of 5 and found it just right for our taste. 🌶 Sometimes you need to be careful when cooking dishes in a hot pan. As with some Asian/Chinese restaurants, it can happen that the food splatters a bit when it is served. Unfortunately, dessert wasn't included.

They have real Indian taste. Quality is also good. I think they can improve with indian snacks. Can be more authentic and i don’t personally like the red color of nonveg snacks i don’t know why its extra red maybe some edible colors or something. Thats why 4 stars. I have had better Indian food in Germany.
