Luzifer Eckernförde in Eckernförde

We drove to Eckernförde at short notice to catch the last rays of sunshine at the harbor and grab a bite to eat. We easily got a parking space at the harbor and paid two euros for it upon departure, which is fine. The beach chairs in front of Lucifer, directly below the huge red warehouse building, were inviting despite the temperature only being 14 degrees Celsius. Ordering and eating at 7:30 p.m. went quickly; less than 15 minutes after ordering, the food and drinks arrived; we were probably already the last guests. The plates were well filled; it's not fine dining, more of a snack bar, but it was tasty. The prices were a bit steep, but acceptable. A good 30 minutes later, we finished our food; we were starting to get cold; blankets for our legs were provided. The quickie cost 50 euros, which I think is fine. The service was very friendly and polite; we'd be happy to come back!

We were at Luzifer today and to be honest, it wasn't great! I had a hunter's schnitzel with fries and a side salad! But it was actually a single-celled fries with two medium-sized schnitzels and a very coarsely grated coleslaw with a curry dressing! And the hunter's sauce wasn't tasty; there was white wine in the sauce, which doesn't go with the hunter's sauce! The atmosphere has seen better days; broken chairs and holes in the walls! To be honest, I don't know what the others are saying, but you don't have to go to Luzifer!

This store is beyond sad. My partner is heavily pregnant and urgently needed to use the bathroom. Instead of offering her help, they demanded a mandatory euro. In times when you can pay for everything with a card, you often simply don't have a single euro in your pocket. It's just sad how inconsiderate and unhelpful people can be.

The buffet was great and the service from the kitchen to always refill everything and be there for the customers was great. The menu is clear, but the selection is too small for me. The prices are also quite excessive. I had a spicy pasta dish with salmon that had arugula as a side dish. A single leaf of arugula as a “side dish” is really a disgrace and not acceptable at all. If arugula is declared as an ingredient, I expect at least a decent amount. The service was friendly and attentive, and the seagulls hunting for fish sandwiches provided some entertainment. Overall it was ok, but given the prices I expect more choice and better value for money and especially no window dressing (arugula)! There is a big minus point for this.

We were in Lucifer many years ago and weren't at all convinced at the time. Now there was a birthday meal there and we realized that not much has changed. At least the Argentinian service staff, although obviously overworked, carried out their job with temperament and charm. That was quite fine. But we found the food to be very modest - system catering. The panfish came across as indefinable and not very tender. I wouldn't have necessarily been able to identify it as a cod. The huge portion of roasted potatoes was not at all crispy and was soggy with mustard sauce that covered the entire plate. In terms of atmosphere, we found the restaurant to be rather sober and uncomfortable. On Friday evening there wasn't much going on inside; around 7:30 p.m. we were sitting almost alone in the large dining room. Maybe after so much concrete and repetitive criticism in the reviews, the operators of the Lucifer should think about improving the concept (standard, a little bit of everything) and quality (freshly prepared convenience?).

Great meal and extensive menu at fair prices. We have often been on vacation in Eckernförde and a visit to Lucifer has always been part of it. 👍

Highly recommended for a good breakfast. At our age (over 70), breakfast would have been enough for two. Delicious.

Breakfast had everything you could want, fresh, tasty and plenty of coffee! Chairs could be reupholstered and covered. Service very friendly and attentive. View of the harbor, great! We'll be back!

The Hamburger Petits were very dry.

The food was cold, dishes were often empty and were only sparsely refilled. The staff was very unfriendly. Offer for the price-performance ratio was very poor with 20 people there and everyone was dissatisfied.

The two of us went to Easter breakfast today and were given a very friendly welcome. The food was plentiful and the selection was sufficient. We don't like the atmosphere anymore - everything is worn out and hardly a chair is still attractive. We also sat by an extremely flickering light. All in all, we were disappointed with an extremely outdated local.

The staff was totally unfriendly and overwhelmed. The buffet wasn't full and you had to wait an hour for rolls to be refilled. A lot of things weren't refilled even though you were there early.

I don't know if the service staff are overwhelmed, but you feel unwelcome and you don't get friendly service here. We were given the feeling that this was a restaurant and that you should order something to eat... But it wasn't said. No milk alternatives. The poor lactose intolerant people ^^

The price/performance ratio is perfect in any case. Ordered several dishes, everything was perfect. Decent portions. Service friendly and not a long waiting time. Can NOT share the recessions, among other things. The only thing needed was the furniture. The view of the harbor is good. The windows in a warehouse aren't huge.

Eat well, large portions. The service was ok, but could have sold a round of drinks more if she had stopped by every now and then. The restaurant itself needs to be renovated in one place or another: the torn leather on some of the chairs needs to be repaired, the lighting is quite dark and there are many different light colors, and grooves between benches need to be cleaned.

Tasty, sorry, very tasty buffet. Unfortunately, the acoustics are still poor 😡☹️it's just too loud in the restaurant 😪😱...but it's been that way since it was built🙈It's a shame!!

We were here for breakfast on a Sunday morning. First, the food is delicious, fresh and filling. The service was nice and good. Unfortunately the ambience is no longer ok. As you can see from the pictures, the walls, lamps, speakers and light switches are beyond dirty. This urgently needs to be improved. It seems that the ventilation system is blowing dirt into the dining room. At least the ventilation system is very dirty. Having dirty lamps like that above the dinner table is not okay. We didn't have a reservation and still got a table. However, it was said that all tables were reserved. At 10, after an hour, more than 50% of all tables were still unoccupied. Here you can also think more economically and reassign the tables before making a reservation with a time limit instead of saying no straight away.

I visited Luzifer for dinner for the first time in a while. The selection was fantastic. What I really liked was that there wasn't an overwhelming selection. This gave me the impression that the food was carefully and freshly prepared. My pasta was cooked 'al dente', which was very slightly overcooked.

I have never had fried potatoes that were so chewy and rubbery. Even though the restaurant has a top location, we will avoid it in the future. The coffee doesn't taste good either. - Too bad.

Unfortunately it wasn't that great, the cake comes before the coffee. The spoons are dirty. Two service staff for such a large store are simply not enough.

The Lucifer Burger was a failure. Patty from industrial production, for €17.90 I expected a little more. The fries were very pale, with a strange aftertaste.

Der Luzifer Burger entsprach nicht unseren Vorstellungen. Der Patty wahrscheinlich industrielle Herstellung ein totaler Flop. Die Pommes waren an der Friteuse vorbeigeflogen, heiß aber leider innen noch sehr matschig. Leider nicht zu empfehlen, schon gar nicht für €17,90.

The two of us were at the Lucifer today. The ambience is fine and the service was not objectionable either. What I find very exaggerated, however, is that a glass of tap water is 0.2l. (was ordered in conjunction with a glass of wine) is charged at €2.70. We were not informed of this in advance. That seems very high to me!!!

Delicious salmon eaten with homemade Rösti. The plate was nicely prepared. I liked it here.

Very strange treatment, we were there with not 5 people but 7 people. The store boss is very unfriendly and not only didn't want to let me go to the toilet, no guest and so on. The nice ladies were very open-minded and nice. We left after a long drink. Never again

Good food...not much choice but a little bit of everything...priced a little more expensive. What irritated me a little: 3 potato pancakes with applesauce are 1€ more expensive as a children's plate than if you order them as a dessert. But the plates and dressing are the same.

It was a fish market and therefore full. There were nice staff, but our waitress was disrespectful, addressed in a commanding tone as we passed and in a rather harsh tone. The food, potatoes with leaf spinach and sheep's cheese, tasted quite good, but not arranged in such an appetizing way. All in all, not worth repeating for me.

A really nice restaurant right at the harbor in Eckernförde. The food was very good and also plentiful. The staff was top and very friendly. I would give 10 stars.

We made reservations for six people, were greeted warmly and shown to the table. The menus were brought straight away. The orders were received friendly. The drinks came quickly. We didn't have to wait long for the food either. Unfortunately, a request for a change in the food was not implemented. The food was delicious and very plentiful. In summer it must be great to sit outside and look at the harbor. You're welcome to go.

Hello, hello everyone I took part in the crime dinner on January 9, 2025. The event was good. Been there twice. But the food was subpar. Tomato soup was served with 1 piece of bread. What was said loudly several times so that every guest heard it. Main course fried potatoes (frozen), they looked like fried potatoes, didn't taste good and were inedible, as was the schnitzel 0.5 cm high, spicy breaded to make it look like something, the sauce was too salty. Dessert was also a simple dish. The alternatives, tortellini, were said to not have tasted good at all. In addition, some tables were set (unfortunately quite loud) The staff was sometimes very loud behind the counter. We also sat near the counter. When serving, the guests were sometimes allowed to pass on the food. As well as clearing the dishes, service staff made a hand gesture that told the guest, come on. Maybe I see it differently because my first job is a waitress. Oh, there were a few things that were annoying. But I think it's enough. I think it's a shame that the love for gastronomy has been lost. I think it's best that everyone should form their own opinion and then express it. The restaurant is so beautifully located. Because for food... A burnt pancake for €8.50 from the children's menu... Wooow Yes, I should have let it go back - especially at that price! But my little one had already waited... Because bruschetta for €4.50 A small piece of cut baguette bread with a hint of tomato/garlic/parsley and a sprinkle of cheese gratinated... Unbelievable

Moin moin Ich muss einfach meine Erfahrung mit euch teilen. Ich war am 09.01.2025 zum Dinner mit Leiche im Luzifer. Das Essen war sowas von unterirdisch. Die Vorspeise war eine Tomatensuppe, wo die eine Kellnerin immer wieder laut rief, denk dran den Leuten zu sagen jeder nur ein Stück Brot. Und ganz ehrlich das Brot war das beste am ganzen Abendessen. Zum Hauptgang gab es Schnitzel, das ungefähr ein halben Zentimeter hoch war und ordentlich scharf paniert wurde damit wenigstens was auf dem Teller ist. Die Bratkartoffeln waren tiefgefroren. Mit Bratkartoffeln hatten sie zwar das Aussehen gemeinsam aber die Konsistenz war wie Gummi. Dazu gab es eine fertig Soße mit Champignons, die aber total versalzen war. Der Nachtisch war auch nicht besser aber das war das geringste Übel. Zu den saßen wir ziemlich nah beim Tresen. Während der Veranstaltung wurden die Tische neu eingedeckt und das nicht gerade leise, das Personal unterhielt sich ziemlich laut. Was sehr störend für uns, die in der Nähe des Tresen saßen. Eine Getränkekarte gab es nicht. Jedenfalls nicht bei uns. Die Kellner stellten sich am Ende des Tisch und reichten die Speisen dann nur durch. Sorry sowas geht nicht. Ich bin auf einem Dinner. Da ich Kellnerin im ersten Beruf war, sehe ich vieles anders. Es wurde mit Handbewegung dann gezeigt dass man doch die Sachen rüberreichen sollte. Das hat nichts mit Service zu tun und das zu dem Preis der pure Wahnsinn. Ich kann nicht verstehen wie man so etwas den Gästen servieren kann? An einem Dinnerabend. Es fehlt leider die Leidenschaft und Liebe. Ich wünsche Ihnen dass Sie die Leidenschaft wieder neu entdecken und an die Gäste weitergeben.

The food is sometimes very good and sometimes just satisfying. Most portions are generous. Children are given something to draw with (as an activity), but the pencils are often not sharpened and only one sharpener is available in the restaurant. The service is nice, but due to the organization (due to a lack of staff?) it can take a while until someone is available for you (reorder, invoice, special requests)

After a walk we took a coffee break with cake and Kaiserschmarn. Nice staff, cozy seating area and nice ambience. We felt very comfortable. We'd love to come back.

Wir waren mit 6 Erwachsenen und 6 Kindern zum Mittagessen im Luzifer. Da wir reserviert hatten, waren die Tische für 12 Personen zusammengeschoben. Als wir ankamen und die Kellnerin feststellte, dass ein 2jähriges Kind dabei war, holte sie sofort einen Kinderstuhl. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und schnell. Wir mussten nicht lange auf das Essen warten, obwohl wir alle unterschiedliche Essen bestellt hatten. Für die Kinder brachte die Kellnerin zur Überbrückung der Wartezeit Malutensilien. Außerdem durften die Kinder in der Schauküche bei der Zubereitung der Speisen zusehen, der Koch unterhielt sich sehr freundlich mit den Kindern. Das Essen war lecker und in ausreichender Menge. Ein sehr kinderfreundliches Restaurant, das wir sehr empfehlen können!

We have been going to Eckernförde for six years and often eat at Lucifer. We also cannot understand the negative reviews. So far it has been true for us everything from the food to the very attentive service. In any case, we always like to come back.

The food was very tasty and we didn't have to wait too long for it. The reception was more like “well”. At first we were ignored until a lady asked if she could help us. I said we reserved a table. She looked at her book and walked away without a word. About 2 minutes later another young lady came and kindly accompanied us to our table. I found it a bit of a shame because the food and the ambience themselves are really nice. If customer relations were improved a bit, that would be 5/5 stars.

Had to return the food twice. Totally overcooked the first time and almost raw the second time. The lady in service was completely overwhelmed and extremely unfriendly. The store is dead for us.

The food was excellent. The girl who served us polite and smiling.. (the only one smiling). The coffee is very good. The 3 stars because they brought us 500g of tap water and charged €5.00, shame. And why the big white haired gentleman was insulting to the staff in front of the crowd he yelled and scolded a kid from the bar. A little courtesy to those who work does no harm, my lord.

Good selection of dishes. I had grilled fillet with fresh vegetables (great until then!!) 2 potato pancakes, herb quark and herb butter. The potato pancakes were undercooked and full of fat, the quark tasted sour and the herb butter tasted like butter, that was it. The waitress did this with the comment that she liked it so much...

A wonderful restaurant with a beautiful view of the harbor. Despite the size, not too loud. The staff is very friendly and the food came very quickly and is freshly prepared. A really tasty Labskaus, which I can only recommend. The schnitzel was also great. Price-performance is absolutely reasonable for the huge portions. Gladly again. ♡

Our visit today was a total failure and will definitely not be repeated: we didn't like the food at all and, in our opinion, the quality of the goods used did not correspond in any way to the high prices. In addition, the service was unfortunately inattentive and seemed poorly trained: e.g. B. a bunch of menus were placed on the table; requested mayonnaise was forgotten; Plates were passed among guests; no interest in why a plate could be cleared away almost untouched... At the neighboring table, a rain-soaked dog took a seat under the table, whose smell completely spoiled our appetite. Finally, the furniture was noticeably old: we sat on chairs whose leather had cracked and should have been replaced years ago.

We were in the restaurant with two people and ordered a tomato soup as well as a cocoa with rum and a wine spritzer. Unfortunately the cocoa was made with water and filled with too much rum. Unfortunately, the tomato soup was more of a puree and didn't meet my expectations. Only the wine spritzer was very good. Even the staff couldn't pull it off! Smiling once works wonders!

Unfortunately, we had to watch as both waitresses repeatedly stuck their fingers into the large bowl of fries and helped themselves. The chef made the fries for the guests' plates and they always go in with my fingers 🤢🤮. I don't want to know who or what else had their fingers in my food. It doesn't work at all.

Several waitresses helped themselves to the fries while the chef refilled the fries. In between, the fingers were wiped in the pants. Staff was spoken to, but there was no real understanding. It's a shame, very nice atmosphere

The food was a disaster. The potatoes look and taste like they have been kept warm for hours. You get bacon with the fish even though you don't order it and then you have to pay extra for it. The shop is completely empty and yet the waitresses are unfriendly, unmotivated and don't really care about the guests. All in one... A shop full of potential in the right place with a great view, but without a competent owner and bad staff!

By chance we stopped in yesterday for coffee and cake and then reserved 4 places for the breakfast buffet today. Great ambience, super nice service and chef, incredibly delicious breakfast, a huge variety, everything fresh and clean… Thank you, we will definitely come back and can only recommend it. We cannot understand the negative criticisms that are often mentioned here.

Absolute disaster. Apart from the uncomfortable atmosphere and broken chairs. We ordered kale, a pancake and Kaiserschmarren. Kale ok. Pancakes and Kaiserschmarren are a disaster. Partly black. The pancake was completely covered in cinnamon and sugar, probably to hide the disaster. Subterranean in taste. The Kaiserschmarren was burnt on the edge and not cooked through in the middle. It tasted like old fat, which was also visible. After we told the waitress, her comment was: that's a matter of opinion. Job missed. For me, black is burnt and not a matter of opinion.

The food was ok, but not special either. The service, on the other hand, was, phew, well... We were on a day trip in Eckernförde and wanted to end my birthday on a nice note - but the feel-good atmosphere was gone from the first contact with our waitress... She did her job, and still gave you the feeling that you were disturbing her... nice It's somehow different... that's why we had our dessert and nightcap somewhere else - so the evening turned out to be nice after all 😉

Everything was correct and in order, but nothing more than that. However, I can't understand some of the bad reviews about the service, the service was very good, very attentive! The food was okay, not bad, but not great either. The outside of the store is very chic, but inside everything is covered up and feels more like a bistro atmosphere than really comfortable. In my opinion, there are better and cozier restaurants in Eckernförde.

We ate here a few days ago and I have to say it was a complete disappointment! We had the salmon burger with fries and the “spicy” pasta with salmon. The fries were almost raw! The pasta sauce was a ready-made sauce and so unbelievably inedible!! Calculating €20.90 for this is more than audacious! Instead of putting tons of pasta and fries on a plate, you should work on the quality! I've never eaten anything so disgusting. We didn't eat anything from our plate apart from the salmon, which was great. Because it was inedible. The waitress didn't even ask if it was tasty. It's a shame, because otherwise I would have asked her to try it myself. If you as a chef can't even prepare a pasta sauce, then please don't cook anymore! Not to mention the fries! Terrible!

It's been a long time since I've been served such bad food... "Two potato pancakes with fresh fruit and apple sauce" was the message. We received two small, carelessly served frozen potato pancakes that weren't even fully fried, plus two orange pieces with peel that wouldn't have served their purpose even for decorative purposes. Then the bold answer that you can only serve ready-made frozen potato pancakes in the restaurant. Otherwise you would have to go to a gourmet restaurant. The whole thing for a sporty 7.90. Never again ..

Nice location with friendly service. But instead of freshly fried Baltic Sea herring with fried potatoes, there were fishy-tasting old herrings from the deep fryer with "fried potatoes". At least there was a Helbing as a small compensation. The waitress was noticeably embarrassed.

Lange nicht so schlechtes Essen serviert bekommen .. "Zwei Reibekuchen mit frischen Früchten und Apfelmus" hieß es. Bekommen haben wir zwei kleine lieblos servierte tiefkühl Reibekuchen, die nicht mal durchgebraten waren, dazu zwei Orangen Stücke mit Schale, die selbst zu Dekorzwecken ihren Zweck nicht erfüllt hätten. Das ganze für sportliche 7,90. Nie wieder ..

Nicely located with a view of one of the harbors. Super friendly service. Significantly more than I expected from a tourism-oriented restaurant. We were very satisfied as a group and there was something for every taste. We would be happy to come back because the price was also moderate for what was on offer. The whole thing was recommended by our friendly taxi driver “My dad cooks there” and we found it reason enough to visit.

After waiting 30 minutes, my husband went into the restaurant to order and then we had to wait 15 minutes for our coffee. The service was friendly. Some guests were waiting at the next tables and decided to leave. We sat outside in the beach chair and decided not to eat

Went there for the first time today, but my partner already knew the place and was always enthusiastic about the food. Our waitress Angelika was very friendly and our food was hot and very tasty ("Sylter Pannfisch" - good portions, good value for money!). Only the inventory is getting old (unstable chairs or broken leather) - we were able to exchange the chair, but we would like to see work done on this issue.

We pre-ordered by phone and were there on time to pick it up. When we wanted to pay, we were surprised at the price because it was much higher than the card showed. Ultimately we had to pay over 6 euros more for some dishes and the reason for this was “The menu is no longer up to date and the prices can always vary slightly”. Of course we paid and took the food with us. When we opened the boxes, we were a little annoyed. The price-performance ratio is not right at all and the rice pudding, see photo, was hard to eat because it was so runny. We also wondered what watermelon was doing in it. In the end, we were all disappointed and annoyed by the unknown high price that isn't shown online and will never eat there again.

Unfortunately, one meal was served lukewarm to cold, the second meal was such a small portion, which was very outrageous given the prices. Service seemed very stressed, even though there wasn't that much going on. In other locations people ask about the satisfaction of their guests, but here they wait in vain.

We used to love coming here, quality and especially the service has deteriorated a lot, the service was quite unfriendly, not very customer oriented, what a shame!

For a tiny cup of cappuccino €4.20, which comes from a fully automatic coffee machine, I personally think it's an outrage. If you advertise that you are a coffee roaster, you can probably expect a portafilter machine for your coffee......once and never again

Wir sind mehrfach abends zum Essen, aber in der Regel für ein Getränk im Strandkorb mit Hafenatmosphäre und Sonnenuntergang dorthin gegangen. Die Bedienung war zuvorkommend, wobei es da eine Bedienung gibt, die ist schon speziell. Aber wenn man sich mit ihr ein wenig nett unterhält, ist die auch voll ok. Das Essen war in Ordnung. Das gereichte Asgaard ist ein gutes Bier. Das alles passt, solange das Wetter schön ist. Drinnen sieht es allerdings schwierig aus. Aber draußen - immer wieder gerne.
