It's been a long time since I've been served such bad food... "Two potato pancakes with fresh fruit and apple sauce" was the message. We received two small, carelessly served frozen potato pancakes that weren't even fully fried, plus two orange pieces with peel that wouldn't have served their purpose even for decorative purposes. Then the bold answer that you can only serve ready-made frozen potato pancakes in the restaurant. Otherwise you would have to go to a gourmet restaurant. The whole thing for a sporty 7.90. Never again ..

Nice location with friendly service. But instead of freshly fried Baltic Sea herring with fried potatoes, there were fishy-tasting old herrings from the deep fryer with "fried potatoes". At least there was a Helbing as a small compensation. The waitress was noticeably embarrassed.

Nicely located with a view of one of the harbors. Super friendly service. Significantly more than I expected from a tourism-oriented restaurant. We were very satisfied as a group and there was something for every taste. We would be happy to come back because the price was also moderate for what was on offer. The whole thing was recommended by our friendly taxi driver “My dad cooks there” and we found it reason enough to visit.

After waiting 30 minutes, my husband went into the restaurant to order and then we had to wait 15 minutes for our coffee. The service was friendly. Some guests were waiting at the next tables and decided to leave. We sat outside in the beach chair and decided not to eat

Delicious Matjes fillets “housewife style”

Went there for the first time today, but my partner already knew the place and was always enthusiastic about the food. Our waitress Angelika was very friendly and our food was hot and very tasty ("Sylter Pannfisch" - good portions, good value for money!). Only the inventory is getting old (unstable chairs or broken leather) - we were able to exchange the chair, but we would like to see work done on this issue.

We pre-ordered by phone and were there on time to pick it up. When we wanted to pay, we were surprised at the price because it was much higher than the card showed. Ultimately we had to pay over 6 euros more for some dishes and the reason for this was “The menu is no longer up to date and the prices can always vary slightly”. Of course we paid and took the food with us. When we opened the boxes, we were a little annoyed. The price-performance ratio is not right at all and the rice pudding, see photo, was hard to eat because it was so runny. We also wondered what watermelon was doing in it. In the end, we were all disappointed and annoyed by the unknown high price that isn't shown online and will never eat there again.

The food is a 10/10! Super tasty, you can't complain. Great ambience. Gladly again.

Unfortunately, one meal was served lukewarm to cold, the second meal was such a small portion, which was very outrageous given the prices. Service seemed very stressed, even though there wasn't that much going on. In other locations people ask about the satisfaction of their guests, but here they wait in vain.

We used to love coming here, quality and especially the service has deteriorated a lot, the service was quite unfriendly, not very customer oriented, what a shame!

For a tiny cup of cappuccino €4.20, which comes from a fully automatic coffee machine, I personally think it's an outrage. If you advertise that you are a coffee roaster, you can probably expect a portafilter machine for your coffee......once and never again

No no no! That's not how it works! Cappuccino doubly terrible! A clear no to enjoying coffee!

Wir sind mehrfach abends zum Essen, aber in der Regel für ein Getränk im Strandkorb mit Hafenatmosphäre und Sonnenuntergang dorthin gegangen. Die Bedienung war zuvorkommend, wobei es da eine Bedienung gibt, die ist schon speziell. Aber wenn man sich mit ihr ein wenig nett unterhält, ist die auch voll ok. Das Essen war in Ordnung. Das gereichte Asgaard ist ein gutes Bier. Das alles passt, solange das Wetter schön ist. Drinnen sieht es allerdings schwierig aus. Aber draußen - immer wieder gerne.

Our waitress (a nice blonde) was very nice, but... A dark-haired waitress really stood out. From above the guests shout "Do they also want a card..." to the toilet key, so that works not at all. The food was good, our Lillet was not good, when asked it was poured with Prosecco. In any case it didn't taste good.

Went to dinner at Lucifer in the evening. The last time for us! We were handed the menu at the entrance. The whole atmosphere seemed very rocky. The service was anything but cordial. The food was quite okay. The portions are quite small for the price. We didn't feel comfortable at all. That was the last time we were there. There are enough restaurants in Eckernförde that offer a warm welcome!

Das Essen war nicht so toll.Die Champions waren nicht frisch und hatte eine saure wässrige Soße.Die Pommes waren nicht richtig durch.Die Schnitzel klein.Die 2Heringe mit Bratkartoffeln waren OK.Das Alster war nur Bier mit Schuß.Eine Hundewasserschale wurde leider nicht gebracht.Das Personal wirkte leicht überfordert.Rechnung bringen dauerte ewig lange.Fur den Preis von fast 50.00 Euro kann man bessere Qualität verlangen.Außer der Lage ist das Restaurant nicht empfehlenswert.

First the relatively positive, food was ok. But when you think of a field potato dish as something other than 4 small potatoes... it's a matter of perspective. But the food was delicious. The service has become very poor, the waitress has clearly failed in her job. Cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. Leftover food from the previous guest on the floor. Window sills full of dead flies and spider webs. Inventory ripped off, I think the restaurant already earns its money that they could change something like that or repair broken plaster. Previously a favorite holiday destination Today ....

Were here for the first time and from the outside the Lucifer made a welcoming impression. We were warmly welcomed, which is why we gave 4 stars for the service. There was little activity in the huge restaurant. When we took a closer look, we noticed that the furnishings were getting old, especially the chairs, whose covers were torn and loose. We had a burger that was actually a joke for 19.90. Greasy, non-grilled meat topping and no taste, the fries weren't cooked through. The turkey steak with wok vegetables was a disgrace. The steak was only grilled or fried on one side and the wok vegetables were only briefly sautéed in a LOT of oil, which I left behind. The service deserves 4 stars, very accommodating and friendly. But that's the only positive thing about this place. Definitely never again!!!

I was there yesterday because two of my children needed to use the toilet. Since we weren't guests, I was told straight away that I had to pay for it - 1 euro per person. Unfortunately I only had 1 euro in cash, but two children in need. We actually weren't allowed to go to the toilet and had to keep looking. I find this to be very customer-unfriendly.

Yesterday the three of us just wanted to drink something warm, so we sat down at a table by the window and were given the menu. And then nothing more! The young service staff took care of themselves and everything else but not of us. First one spoke twice and the other twice, and both said only my colleague did but neither did anything. They just chattered and whispered to each other. After twenty minutes we left again. The owner can only do bad things with such employees! Sad!!

Fast service and good food, but also more expensive!

Yesterday (Saturday) we were at Lucifer at lunchtime (otherwise we were only there for the breakfast buffet). We were really positively surprised. We can also recommend lunch (price/performance also good). Our “service” was super nice, personable and very attentive. Great👍🏻

Today I had breakfast at Lucifer in Eckernförde. First you are greeted with a sign stating that only guests are allowed to use the toilet. And they also have to get a key at the counter first, like at a gas station. I personally find both of these unfriendly. The waitress was very friendly, helpful and competent, really quick, but in such a huge store one person is of course not enough to provide service. The fact that I had to wait about 30 minutes for my breakfast (!!!) is not the fault of the friendly and competent waitress. The furniture has seen better days across the board. Cracked artificial leather as far as the eye can see. The management of the formerly good store is obviously not up to the task, or they simply don't care that the store looks so worn out and that no one actually cares about the well-being of the guests, the staff and the equipment. The breakfast itself was okay.

The service (Angelika) is super friendly, I have rarely eaten such a delicious schnitzel and the location is great. The toilets are extremely nice and clean and everything is generally very clean! I can't understand all the negative reviews at all

Wir waren zum Frühstücken dort. Die freundliche Bedienung kam schnell. Die Auswahl ist nicht groß - es gibt vier Varianten. Aber das Frühstück war lecker. Wir saßen draußen und hatten damit einen schönen Blick auf den Hafen.

That's it for Lucifer Eckernförde! Been happy for years, but continuously down.. The waitresses are still the highlight, they are hard-working and friendly, but the quality of the food has suffered a lot since Corona. Prices are adjusted for public holidays. My pan fish burnt and black from the bottom, went back.. then touch up greasy and salty. The beer lukewarm. The place hasn't even been visited for a quarter of the time...the waitresses have to work their heels off because they're understaffed...the toilets are slowly getting renovated...and cleaning... After years of loyalty, I won't stop there again, not even for a lukewarm beer in a beach chair. It's a shame...

Food was okay once you were served. Unfortunately only baked rolls. We are used to something different at this price. Service very grumpy and unfriendly. Could be cleaner in general... Beach chairs and tables outside are very dirty.

Sitting in the basket, delicious food and the view of the harbor... actually a dream. Unfortunately, the food wasn't that good and the service was a bit overwhelmed. In the open kitchen it looked like cabbage and turnips. Maybe there was just a lot going on that day and hopefully things will be better on the next visit.

The service and the food are great. In the open kitchen you can see how the food is prepared. I can recommend the Bruscetta here.

GLUTEN FREE / CELIAC DISEASE = SAFE ✅️ Never before has my concern regarding a gluten-free diet been taken as seriously and treated as sensitively as here. A big thank you to Angelika at this point, that's what it said on the invoice. She is a great asset to the store. The kitchen was also great, they were able to transform my dish, even with more effort than usual, so that I could eat everything. I felt 100% comfortable and safe because I was informed about everything. In general, there are several dishes that are possible for GF.

The menu is manageable. The service is very attentive. The prices are usual!

We were there on Whit Monday. There was a very plentiful breakfast buffet which was also very good in terms of quality!

The food was good, you couldn't complain, but the knives are so blunt that you really have problems cutting the food into small pieces. After the meal I pointed this out to the waitress, then we were rudely asked if she should cut us with a knife and they were just new. Sorry, but if they're new then they're no good.

Food was ok, unfortunately there were no crabs and the lunch business had only just begun. Crabs should always be there on the coast. I also know it's expensive and not always available, but then you should maybe change the menu and if there are crabs, bring it to the guest as a daily special. But everything tasted good. Personally, I found the schnitzel with the asparagus to be a bit small.

OP, from the menu, ice cream menu. The selection is delicious 😋. When the sun is shining, outside, in the beach chair, great view of the inland harbor of Eckernfoerde.

We had breakfast twice this week. Breakfast during the week was a good portion, nicely prepared and there was plenty of coffee. Price performance was perfect. Today we went to the breakfast buffet and I have to say I was shocked at the price. Due to the holiday, the price was 3 euros higher than the normal buffet price and all drinks had to be ordered and paid for separately. There was no juice or water at the buffet. The price wasn't right for me. The selection was plentiful and everything tasted very good, but given the price at least one drink could have been included.

The breakfast itself was really good. Sufficient in quantity and tasty. Price performance fits. The service was very friendly. However, there is a deduction for the extremely long waiting time. There really weren't very many tables occupied and yet we waited a good 30 minutes. Especially since the baked rolls were put on the table 10 minutes before the rest of the breakfast and were therefore cold when sausage, cheese etc. arrived. The toilets are clean, but there was a very unpleasant smell in the sink area as soon as you entered. You should come up with something. All in all, the four of us were satisfied and I personally would have breakfast there again.

Very friendly service, especially very child-friendly. There is an extra menu/coloring menu for the children to bridge the waiting time. The food was very good and the prices were ok. The waiting time was reasonable.

Habe gerade Schnitzel mit Lachs und Pellkartoffeln gegessen. Das Essen war sehr durchschnittlich, der Lutz war gut die Spargel allerdings wissen mächtig die Ohren hängen. Geschmacklich war das Ganze aber okay. Was aber gar nicht geht, dass neben einem beim Essen schon der Saal gefegt wird, das ist ein völliges nogo!

Unfortunately, the service staff didn't make any effort and when asked about lactose-free milk or alternatives, they rolled their eyes. The waitress, Samantha, wished her a nice Sunday, but as she was leaving and without making eye contact. Unfortunately the toilets are catastrophically dirty. There are numerous cobwebs on the lamps there, which are at eye level, and nothing has been cleaned. The faucet was loose, the soap dispenser too, you had the feeling of sitting in a train station toilet. I can overlook a lot, but unfortunately that was nothing today.

This shop can only survive because of tourists who never want to come back anyway. The light flickered halfway through the shop. Toilets were dirty. Burgers for €20 are totally overpriced and simply subpar in quality. The service was friendly and nice but that didn't get anything out of it either.

The breakfast is recommended...very plentiful. We ordered two different types. The service was great. Very well located directly at the harbor. Parking spaces nearby, wheelchair accessible entrance. You can even bring dogs, which I personally think is great.

The food and service are good. The price-performance ratio is also right. However, the toilet rooms stink so much of urine that you hardly want to go to the toilet and have to hold your breath. Unfortunately it's really not nice.

I did NOT go in with my wife and child (even though it was cold and we were hungry) because as normal Luther Christians we don't want a place with that name under the ENGEL the city will visit! Who wants to dine in the devil's house? No thanks! From my point of view, as a Berliner who has moved here, the town of Eckernförde (as a health resort) should allow two ANGELS to simply be angels and look at each other! That's a GOOD thing and creates a beautiful picture - in keeping with our tradition! But what should LUZIFER be able to give me as an occult restaurant (just look at it from Aßen) at the feet of the angel?! Never ever - think of something positive!

The food was ok tasty. However, the salad cost €20. (it was iceberg lettuce with some parmesan, croutons and some pieces of turkey breast). The price-performance ratio is no longer right. Even though I understand rising prices due to the increased VAT. We've been to Lucifer Essen more often in the last few years and the price was ok until today. Unfortunately, next time we'll probably look for something different.

Was in Eckernförde on Sunday last week. So I think the food is great, but that's not the point. I urgently had to go to the toilet because I didn't eat anything this time. I paid €1 and got the key. The toilet was very dirty, I politely told the waitress so she could pass it on. Then I got a cheeky and inappropriate answer: I should go somewhere else, there are enough toilets. Rarely have I seen such a cheeky young woman. The impression was that she didn't have much desire to work either. Was super annoyed. It's a real shame that such service makes you think about going there again.

We were there for the second time. As in the summer, everything was to our satisfaction. Great food selection for both vegans and other eaters. You should definitely visit when staying in Eckernförde.

I was a little disappointed with the food. The fried potatoes I ordered were already sticky and seemed to have just been kept warm. However, I have to say that the schnitzel I ordered was quite good. The ambience in the restaurant was very loud and more like a train station hall, which unfortunately greatly impaired the ability to have a conversation or simply eat in peace. The seating was also uncomfortable and some appeared unkempt or even broken. Another problem I found was the toilets, which were a complete disaster. It seemed like they hadn't been cleaned in hours. The staff was also disappointing. When I politely asked for the key to the toilet, I was treated with rudeness, which further detracted from my stay. Overall, my visit to Restaurant Lucifer was disappointing. I hope my experience helps make improvements to provide future guests with a more pleasant experience.

Ice cream & Kaiserschmarn was delicious. You really had to look for raisins. I would swap fruit for taste. Price a bit excessive. Staff was nice, but very scarce at peak times. It was a unique experience for me.

Maybe it used to be a scene place. But today, prices were overpriced and the store was completely trashed. Chairs need to be reupholstered and the tables need to be wiped down properly after each guest. A pity

Friendly and fast...it can get loud inside. ONCE UPON A TIME. If you order coffee and a piece of cake, you may not get any cake because you forget. It's clear, but it shouldn't happen.

Not so nice service, didn't know which cake was currently available, the service lady was a bit inattentive

Food was ok. Schnitzel wasn't pounded but it was ok. The service was underground! No warmth, we felt like we were a bother! At 7:30 p.m. the floor was swept while we were still eating! At the end the table was re-laid while we were still putting on our jackets. Thanks but we probably won't go to a Lucifer again.
