Very well located, the food was very tasty and the portions were generous. A slight drawback is that the service seemed unmotivated, giving the impression that they were working haphazardly and superficially.

Using the reviews of the previous owner (Lukullum) is an absolute disgrace. The Bootshaus Pfullendorf only opened in June 2024. The new staff is an absolute disaster. You go out to eat with friends, and when paying, you can't pay separately. When you bill, they simply divide the total amount for the table by the number of people sitting at the table. I've never seen such incompetent staff. Unfortunately, the waiter's language barrier prevented them from correcting the payment process. The food itself was much, much better under the old owner, and unfortunately, the ambiance has also changed for the worse with the new staff. And for what is offered, it's simply too expensive. I can't find anything positive to say about the restaurant anymore. Go somewhere else; you'll get more for your money there.

Beautiful lake for a walk and if you want to go water skiing, you'll get your money's worth here.

I'm disappointed, or even annoyed. I wouldn't recommend it for lunch. At 12:30, the terrace was busy. After about 10 minutes, we were able to order. Then things turned out differently than expected. Some people around us arrived after us, but got their food before us 😐 After a long 40 minutes, we were served two lunch dishes and one schnitzel with fries. The fries were lukewarm and tough. Over an hour for lunch is definitely too long.

Unfortunately not recommended. Most reviews are before the tenant change. Food okay, but nothing special. Service very slow. We waited a long time for the drinks. It took over 30 minutes from request for invoice to payment. In the end we were "kicked out" in a very unfriendly manner because the restaurant was already closed. It's just stupid that we had to wait so long for payment. Definitely won't come again.

This was our first time eating there since the operator changed. The service was first class and responded to our requests with a “very happy” response. The food was super tasty and also reasonably priced for the quality. We will definitely come back here.

We wanted to reserve a table by phone and were told that there were 3 large groups in the house and that the meal might take a little longer and that the background noise was quite loud. But we didn't really care and went to the boathouse anyway. After a very nice reception, we were given a small, cozy table at the counter. Separated from the groups by a wall, we felt very comfortable there and were positively surprised by the quality of the service and the quality of the food. If we vacation in the area again we will definitely come back.

The restaurant was remodeled in 2024 and now has a new tenant. The food is good and the service is very good. If you can sit outside, the view of the Seepark is very nice. It's good inside too, but noisy. Even when the restaurant is half full, the noise level is high. Serving an aperitif on beer mats doesn't fit.

Even though a table was reserved and you got there on time, you were rudely informed that you couldn't see how busy it was and that the table was no longer there. The boss really doesn't treat the staff nicely and even insults the customers. No apology nothing. Once and never again.

Today we were here for lunch for the first time since the change of tenant. Culinary delicacies are advertised... Our four meals were far from that. The only pleasant thing is the ambience and the friendly service. The food was breaded Viennese-style schnitzel with breading that was too light, with individual dark frying spots, almost unseasoned, and was more reminiscent of ready-made schnitzel. And cream schnitzel with chanterelles in a thin, tasteless alleged cream sauce. There is no relationship between price and performance here.

After 20 minutes (after asking another employee) you come to the table listlessly. The cards are handed out...and then he's gone again?! No, nobody wants to order a drink after a hot summer day. What?! But now we're slowly getting the hang of how things work: you have to wave and gesticulate wildly, and then he'll come back. Ok, drinks and food included...now the initial communication barrier should be removed. Hmm, food was served afterwards, the drinks are a long time coming. It's still a hot summer day and I'm quenching my thirst with the power of my thoughts. While the plates slowly empty, the drinks arrive...the employee still shows no awareness of injustice. Maybe he's made of customer service-resistant stuff. After eating, you sit in front of empty plates and glasses for 25 minutes until the employee waves you over again. “Can I clean up?” he asks us. Um, yes, I actually didn't want to look at the empty plate bottoms any longer because I'm not really into pottery and life-denying brown. We can already "wave" the topic, so in combination with the other employee we conjured up our "responsible" employee to blackmail another espresso...order mine. Could go on here, but I'm running out of ink. Conclusion: good and customer-oriented employees are rare and that's actually a shame when the food was ok but the service was terrible.

08/28 We came back because of our first visit. A mistake. Just because of the catastrophic service. It couldn't be more listless. Drink before eating. Hour didn't show up for that. You don't need sales. Too bad. But a perfect example of a service desert. Now a boathouse and no longer Lukullum. Quality has not decreased 👍👍 Great location, great ambience, fine food, friendly staff. What more could you want? People like to come here more often

Not overcrowded. Clear water, separate children's area and swimmers. Jumping ramp, huge sandpit for children covered with an awning. We liked it.

Fantastically beautiful ambience on the lakeside terrace with a view of the lake. Modern, stylishly furnished. Very friendly accommodating staff. Food came relatively quickly and was warm and very tasty. The food selection could be a little larger. All in all great! Would love to come back.

First of all, most of the reviews and pictures of the food and menu come from the Lukullum restaurant, so the current 4.6 stars are not representative. I think the boathouse at Seepark has only been there since May 2024. Now to the new tenant. The service and the location were really great, but for the food itself, I wouldn't go there. Had tagliatelle with zander fillet and chanterelle cream sauce. The tagliatelle are dry because they are without sauce and not tossed in butter. So after a short time they stick together into a big lump. The cream sauce was more like a roux with chanterelles, and it didn't have any pep either. But the pike perch was well fried, but that's not enough for the entire meal. Thai curry with hand legs takes some getting used to and chickpeas are more like Indian or Arabic food, I didn't know that in Thai cuisine. My first conclusion: for the aperitif, yes, I don't have to go there to eat because the prices aren't exactly a bargain either.

We ordered an onion roast for a whopping €30 per meal. I thought for that amount I would get a delicious meal. The meat was ok. The spaetzle came from the bag to the plate without seeing a pan or butter (they were probably heated in the microwave). It just tasted like dough. The sauce also comes from the bag and was not refined or homemade. I don't think the amount is appropriate if everything isn't made by myself.

Was now in the boathouse in Pfullendorf for the third time. Well, what can I say… service and ambience are top. But I expected a lot more from the food for what it cost. Nothing special unfortunately, everyone can do the same or even better at home! But the best thing today was...the salad 🙈 or should I say salad stew. Actually, all that was missing was the spoon for the sauce. Everything was drowned in sauce, far from healthy and fresh salad. Too bad...unfortunately not recommended.

I must add that my review was for the previous Lukullum and not the current boathouse! The food in the current boathouse is perfectly fine but too expensive for what is served. The service is friendly but cannot be compared. The ambience is really great - but will it be enough in the long run? I find the fact that the reviews use “false feathers” confusing. The boathouse only opened at the end of June 2024. Great ambience, great service, good selection of dishes, delicious food - what more could you want?

The boathouse is super cozy, with a great view of the lake. The food was good. I tried different dishes (chanterelles, pasta, burgers, cheese spaetzle, etc.) over several days and was actually always happy. There were two vegans and one vegetarian with us. They had a bit of trouble. The vegan offering included tempura-breaded pork schnitzel and buttered vegetables. There is still potential for improvement. It is unclear whether these were typographical errors or communication errors, or whether the schnitzel was actually pork, because of course we didn't order it. Other dishes were actually vegan. Occasionally the waiting time was a little longer, but we were very kindly rewarded with dessert on the house. The service was a bit overwhelmed at times, but always nice. I was there for work and would come back any time for personal reasons. Just maybe not with vegan friends.

Had dinner there today for the first time since it was renamed the boathouse. Food: incredibly tasty, large portions and very lovingly prepared. Service: very nice staff and extremely child-friendly. Amazing place with very friendly service! We were driving to Überlingen - Bodensee and wanted to stop for a lunch. Lukullum was the perfect place! Service is fast and friendly. Food is good and prices are fair. Despite not having reservation (we did not have reservation) we got a table pretty fast (5-10 minutes after arrival). If going in larger groups (we were two people) or during warmer months of the year, it might be wise to reserve in advance. Google Maps directions try to get you to the restaurant door. However the streets were private / closed. Probably the best would be to set directions to the parking lot of the Seepark and do the 5 min walk from there.

Unfortunately it's no longer the Lukullum it once was. The prices have become outrageously expensive. The portions contain a mini piece of meat and otherwise just a side dish and then a plate like that should cost almost €20. The map has been completely shortened. The restaurant was almost empty even though it was the weekend. You don't know that. The only positive point was that it tasted good. The prices are a disgrace. Salad plate also costs almost €20 - that's outrageous.

Wir haben am letzten Sonntag dort gegessen. Die Bedienung war sehr aufmerksam und schnell. Die Speisekarte ist reichhaltig und die Preise sind angemessen Allerdings gibt's für Vegetarier wenig und für Veganer gar keine Angebote.Das Ambiente ist sehr schön .Man sitzt direkt am See und schaut den Wasserskiläufern zu . Die Eiskarte bräuchte etwas mehr Auswahl. Ansonsten sehr empfehlenswert.

Ein sehr schöner Ausblick mit leckeren Essen. Die Bedienung war sehr nett und höflich.
