Ich war begeistert! Das Wiener Schnitzel war absolut hervorragend super lecker, schön souffliert und goldbraun ausgebacken wie es sein soll. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich auch das unglaublich freundliche und aufmerksame Personal. Man fühlt sich direkt willkommen und bestens aufgehoben. Ein echtes Highlight ist außerdem der kleine Shop im Restaurant. Dort gibt es viele tolle Geschenkideen und besondere Kleinigkeiten zum Kaufen. komme auf jeden Fall gerne wieder und kann das Restaurant nur weiterempfehlen!

Wir haben im April 2026 undere Hochzeit hier gefeiert. Es war grandios, jeder Wunsch wurde stets erfüllt. Es wurde auf unseren Wunsch toll dekoriert. Alle Speisen sind hier hervorragend und auf sehr höhem Niveau. Sehr zu empfehlen... wir kommen wieder!

Wer was ganz besonderes erleben möchte, sollte einfach mal zum Essen vorbeikommen. Der Service und die Speisen waren sensationell.

Wir haben in diesem wirklich sehr schönen Restaurant einen tollen Abend verbracht. Das Servicepersonal war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Essen war hervorragend. Die gute Auswahl an Weinen und Cocktails passt zum Gesamtbild. Alles in allem ein top Preis- Leistungsverhältnis.

Wir waren das zweite Mal bei LUs Box und waren rundum zufrieden. Tolle Ambiente (ruhig, erholsam, wohlfühlen) Grandioses Essen, es wurde sogar für uns eine vegane Speise zubereitet (Empfehlung dies vorher bei der Reservierung anzugeben, da alles frisch zubereitet wird) Super lieber und zuvorkommender Service, der auf unsere Bedürfnisse eingegangen ist. Vielen Dank für den tollen leckeren Abend.

Ein wunderschönes, gemütliches und sehr charmant geführtes Restaurant! Der Service ist sympathisch, sehr am Gast, dessen Genuss und Wünschen orientiert - so wie man es heutzutage in der Gastronomie leider explizit erwähnen muss. Die Essensqualität war vom „Gruß aus der Küche“ über den extrem leckeren Hauptgang (Foto) bis hin zum Brot durchweg Spitze! Eine klare Empfehlung und vom Schloss Bensberg bequem zu Fuß in 5min erreicht 👌🏽

Ich war das erste mal in Lu‘s Box Restaurant essen und es war alles in einem eine schöne Erfahrung! Das Restaurant selbst hat eine sehr elegante und gemütliche Atmosphäre, was mir sehr gefallen hat. Das Personal war freundlich und aufmerksam und ich wurde ohne Wartezeit zu einem Tisch geführt. Exzellente Geschmackskombinationen und sehr gute Qualität der Speisen. Angefangen beim Gruß aus der Küche über den raffiniert kombinierten Salat und das argentinische Rinderfilet bis hin zum Tiramisu als Abschluss. Das Restaurant gilt als absolute Empfehlung von mir als europaweit regelmäßiger Restaurantbesucher und Feinschmecker. Weiter so und auf Wiedersehen.

Wir waren zu dritt unter der Woche bei Lu essen waren sehr begeistert, der Service war schnell und freundlich. Das Essen war wirklich sehr lecker, man konnte aus einer vielfältigen Tageskarte oder der "normalen" Karte wählen. Die Gerichte sagen alle sehr gut aus und waren frisch zubereitet. Auch für Vegetarier gibt es leckere alternativen. Im Sommer würde ich auf jeden Fall einen Tisch auf der Terrasse wählen, hier sitzt man sehr angenehm und ruhig. Insgesamt können wir Lu's Box uneingeschränkt empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder zum Essen

A somewhat bustling bistro atmosphere in the front. Quiet and sophisticated in the back. Very attentive service. Few but first-class dishes. I had a roast duck breast that you could crush with your tongue. 👍🏻 Great red cabbage with it and a fantastic sauce. It would have been even better to always serve some bread with the dishes. The concept of presenting many purchasable items is interesting. Never seen it on such a scale before – and I suspect it's not very profitable. 💁🏼‍♂️ The ONE restroom unfortunately doesn't meet standards.

I often visit Lu's Box Restaurant with family and company guests and am impressed by the food and service.

We had a perfect dinner at Lu's Box. The service was very friendly and attentive. The food was a delight, and I think everyone will find something on the menu. There are more extravagant dishes that are definitely worth trying, and for those less adventurous, there are also classic dishes! I also noticed at the next table that individual needs and requests were also catered to! They also have a very good wine selection and a large and excellent selection of wines available by the glass! At the end of our meal, the chef came out onto the terrace to enjoy his after-work beer and plan the upcoming workday, and he also took the opportunity to chat with us for a bit! Simple and pleasant ambiance, perfect wines, and perfect food! Highly recommended!

We were inspired by the exceptional reviews. Great atmosphere, very friendly service (it took a while, but the staff were friendly enough to make up for it). We were a bit irritated by the dishes, as the combinations didn't seem right for us. There were too many small sauces (mango, cherry, etc.) randomly arranged. While they look nice, they don't always perfectly complement the flavor. Especially with the beef (Wagyu), it would have been perfect not to use these sauces; the meat itself would have stood out better on its own. What a shame!

We visited Lu's Box last week. In short, it was fantastic, even if our intense craving for tonka bean ice cream couldn't be satisfied 🎈. The service was A+ with *, very attentive, and they made every effort to fulfill our every wish. To accompany the welcome from the kitchen, we chose the following dishes: for starters, pulled picok chicken and beetroot carpaccio. For main courses, we chose beef fillet with wild herbs, pasta on beef carpaccio, and a beetroot patty with potato cream. For dessert, we opted for tiramisu and the caramel tart. Since there was no other space outside, the three of us sat at two tables for two people – a bit disconcerting at first, but the food and service delivered so well that we can only give these two areas 5/5. Highly recommended, we will be back.

With a group of entrepreneurs we enjoyed a Christmas evening including a mixology with gin, whiskey and rum! Informative, entertaining and everything very, very tasty! Thank you for the wonderful evening with you!!

We were very excited about this restaurant because we didn't know it and hadn't really heard of it. The reception was fine, the interior is modern and warm, although a bit dark. The arrangement of the tables should be chosen so that there is more discretion for the guests. During our visit we noticed pretty much everything from the table behind us that didn't really interest us and ended up being very annoying. So we couldn't fully enjoy the evening. But yes, the space needs to be used optimally. But this background noise seems to represent a well-known, often mentioned and as yet unresolved problem at this restaurant. About the dishes: Briefly in advance: overall too expensive. The menu promises too much. Example: for Wiener Schnitzel, the menu mentions “caper, anchovy”. All well and good, we got half a caper wrapped with half an anchovy. Really now! We only discovered this chi-chi on the plate when we asked the waitress. Salt and pepper was not mentioned on the menu. The potato salad still has room for improvement in terms of quality (and quantity), and the schnitzel is even better. Overall, this dish was a bit bland and uneventful, not to mention the price. With Brasato for 33 euros, we wouldn't have expected gnocchi from a discounter; The brasato itself was very good in terms of taste and texture (cooked for a long time, so you can't go wrong). The portion of Black Angus tartare as a starter was too small for the price quoted. The dessert (chocolate cake with tonka bean ice cream) was very good. Wine list with a good selection, ok in terms of price if you value high-priced wines. A bottle of house/white wine (Lu's bottling) for just under 30 euros is pretty decent. Lu's is undoubtedly one of the more expensive restaurants in Bensberg, but it doesn't quite live up to the price level. Judging by what we left there that evening, we would have expected someone to say goodbye to us somehow. Too bad! But we are not the kind of friends of the restaurant who are greeted or farewelled with a lot of emotion.

Five of us spontaneously came here today. Very tasty food paired with super friendly service. Thank you for the lovely evening. We'll be back!

Very good food in a nice atmosphere. In summer on the small but nice terrace.

All in all we spent a nice evening with friends. The ambience was a bit very dark and the seating was narrow. What is unpleasant is that the toilet flows directly into the guest room. A spatial and visible separation would be desirable. The food was very tasty as were the cocktails (also alcohol free) and wines. Everyone will definitely find something here. Suggestion for improvement: The service staff should know all dishes and their components as well as preparation methods.

A great restaurant that doesn't have to hide behind the castle. We had a great evening with wonderful food, friendly and personal service and a good bottle of wine. An unusual concept with the separate room downstairs where you can stroll, browse and buy a little something after your meal. Also really cool as a celebration location. Two thumbs up for the friendly host and his hard-working team :-)

We were here for the first time today (October 4th, 2024). Even the first impression conveys comfort. The interior is exceptional and very appealing. Our dishes, Königsberger meatballs, monkfish and veal fillet, were beautifully presented on the plate and extremely tasty. The desserts, crème brûlée and chocolate frittata, rounded things off sweetly. The entire service was friendly and attentive. A clear recommendation for me! We'd love to come back. This is where we come if we want to have a guaranteed nice evening! Online reservations are great and if it has to be at short notice, they always try to make it suitable somehow. Small but super fine menu, where every dish is simply harmonious and beautifully presented. The tonka bean ice cream is always my personal highlight at the end! The wine selection is also great and there is something for every budget. When we asked, we always got great recommendations. The service makes you feel welcome and is pleasantly quick. Even when we were there with our dog, the water bowl was already ready.

We have had a voucher for a beer tasting for years (now expired). An appointment was not possible. 4 emails were not answered and in the shop on Schloßstr. couldn't be helped. Very unfortunate

The ambience of Lu’s Box is very appealing and we were really looking forward to the evening there! The appetizers and wine were very good! Unfortunately, one of the main courses was only lukewarm and, after complaining, it didn't come back much warmer. This dish wasn't really tasty either! The waitress reacted with incomprehension, friendliness diminished and there was no response! It's a real shame, it was our first and last time there! Price/performance doesn't fit!

Wir (2. Personen) hatten einen netten Abend, mit einer sehr freundlichen und professionellen Bedienung. Die Geräuschkulisse ist, je nachdem, wer dort zu Gast ist, sehr laut, man schafft es jedoch, das irgendwann auszublenden. Das ist, denke ich, dem kleinen Raum und der beengten Bestuhlung zu verdanken. Wir hatten eine Vorspeise (Portobello Mushroom und Lachs Tartar). Als Hauptspeise hatten wir Fisch und Gnocchi in Tomatensauce an gebratenem Gemüse. Der Fisch war sehr gut, zitronig angehaucht, die Nudeln schmeckten mit der Sauce zu milchig. Die Gnocchi in Tomatensauce waren vom Geschmack her leider langweilig, keine Raffinesse, man schmeckte keine Kräuter, keinen Salz... einfach enttäuschend. Mein Essen wurde von einem guten Rotwein ("W-wie Wein") begleitet. Wir möchten den Restaurant gerne noch eine Chance geben, da wir hoffen, dass es das nächste Mal etwas besser wird...

Absolute Empfehlung und Bereicherung für Bensberg! Super leckeres Essen, tolle Location und sehr zuvorkommende Gastgeber. 🤗

Wir durften bei Ludger und seinem Team am Samstag mit 38 Gästen ein tolles Fest feiern !! Lui und sein Team haben ein fabelhaftes Essen kreiert und Marcel und Mari haben einen tollen , aufmerksamen Service gemacht ! Unsere Gäste waren begeistert und werden auch nochmal alleine kommen ! Ein super Restaurant in Bensberg. Schönes Ambiente und guter Service. Es gibt regelmäßig eine neue Karte mit verschiedenen hochwertigen Gerichten. Die Preise sind gehobener, aber es gibt eine sehr gute Qualität. Auf Extrawünsche wird auch eingegangen. Angenehme Weinkarte und leckere Aperitif- Variationen. Das Steak war ausgesprochen gut gebraten. Die Terasse ist schön und im Sommer ein Highlight. Reservierung ist empfohlen.
