It was quite loud, especially the music. The food was very tasty, and the service was very attentive.

We ate there last night. It was very crowded, and despite having a reservation, we had to wait in line. However, a friendly young man quickly showed us to our table, and the service was exceptionally friendly and attentive. Despite the restaurant being packed, the food was hot and delicious. But what really stood out was the friendly service!

Like a mini-vacation on the Rhine. Beautiful views and atmosphere, and very friendly and attentive staff! I highly recommend it... we'll definitely be back! Thanks to Simon!

First time in this place. Pizza tubes, dough, tuna (cheap), service zero. Didn't even have Tabasco. Spicy like oil bottles 😂 Not recommended, there are better restaurants and pizzerias in Bonn. Uncomfortable place. 👎👎

Great restaurant and lovely atmosphere right on the Rhine! The service was very friendly and helpful. Free parking or parking garage (fees apply). We reserved a table, so there was no wait. Otherwise, it's best to reserve! The food was delicious, everything freshly prepared, and especially generous portions 😋😋😋 Excellent value for money! Highly recommended!

An excellent store that completely satisfies us every time we visit. My family and I like this store more than any other. The service is always first-class. Even though it's January 1st, the staff greeted us warmly and cheerfully – it left a very positive impression, even though they probably would have preferred to have the day off 😊. I come every two weeks, sit at the bar, and have a dark wheat beer. I have to say, even though I hadn't been there for two weeks, the friendly bartender still remembered my order and immediately offered me the "usual" one. I was very pleased that he remembered. I think his name was Daniel. Overall, I really appreciate the hospitality I always experience at Losteria.

I went to the Losteria on the Rhine with my family for dinner on Sunday, and I have to say that although it was quite busy, we had to sit at the bar first. The friendly bartender and his colleague served us drinks right away. We got a table relatively quickly. It's clear that the competent manager coordinated everything well, and although it was briefly hectic, everything ran smoothly. The food was excellent and arrived about 20 minutes after we ordered. All in all, a very pleasant experience, and we'll be back. 5/5 stars

Due to a prior event, we informed the restaurant of an approximately 15-minute delay. Even though this was factored into the reservation as a grace period, the response on the phone was completely inappropriate. They spoke almost frantically of long lines and numerous inquiries. Upon arrival, it was a bit like a major train station: loud and chaotic. From ordering to receiving our food, it took 1 hour and 10 minutes. The very friendly service staff unfortunately couldn't compensate for the circumstances. Completely overcrowded, conversation was nearly impossible, and the restrooms were in an unacceptable state (only scalding hot water, no towels for hours). Conclusion: Here, profit takes precedence over quality.

We ate there last night and were greeted very rudely and disrespectfully by the waitress. Overall, we didn't feel well treated. It seemed as if we were being treated differently because we didn't look "German enough." Very disappointing – such behavior shouldn't occur in an Italian restaurant.

They serve incredibly huge, delicious pizzas here that don't even fit on a plate 🙂. The staff is friendly and the location is great, too.

Our visit to Bonn today was unfortunately disappointing. First, our ordered wine was forgotten – after reminding them, the service was very attentive. The pizza was very good, although a wooden board would have been nice, as it overhanged the edge of the plate and had to be partially cut on the table – luckily there was a paper placemat underneath. The spaghetti carbonara was very disappointing, rather greasy and very creamy – with little of the typical pancetta flavor. Overall, it was very noisy, due to the constant applause from a speaker at a Christmas party. A shame.

Our visit to L’Osteria was very positive overall. The pizza was excellent – ​​large, crispy, generously topped, and tasted exactly as you'd expect from L’Osteria. You can tell that they put a lot of effort into the dough and its preparation. Unfortunately, the salami (Salica) didn't quite live up to expectations. Its flavor was rather average and didn't quite match the otherwise high standard of the pizza. This is a shame, because the quality of such a small but important ingredient really stands out. Aside from that, the service was friendly, the atmosphere pleasant, and the wait time perfectly reasonable. Overall, a good visit with very good pizza, but there's still room for improvement in the quality of the ingredients.

It's a chain restaurant, and we should have known better. Microwaved food (anyone who orders the lasagna themselves will know it) and a crowded atmosphere that makes the already exorbitant prices (7 euros for still water, seriously?!) even more ridiculous. Yes, the pizzas are huge and thin. But at least my Funghi pizza was so blandly seasoned (not seasoned at all!) that it was laughable. When even the waiter feels sorry for you and offers you complimentary dessert (the lemon sorbet is just Mövenpick, I suspect), then you know: never again. Absolute warning.

The food was very good, and the atmosphere was beautiful. However, the service was not very pleasant. The lady serving us seemed upset when we asked to change our table and placed the drinks rather harshly. After the dishes were taken away, the table wasn’t cleaned, so I had to wipe it myself, and we decided not to order dessert because of that.

I was at L'Osteria Bonn Rheinwerk with a large group for business. The ambiance is really pleasant – modern, stylish, but not stuffy. The service was attentive and friendly; our waiter kept an eye on everything and was quick to arrive. A compliment for that in advance. The dishes, however, have a few weaknesses in terms of quantity to price. The pizzas are huge – really huge. Sure, that's L'Osteria's trademark, but at some point it just becomes too much of a good thing. You can barely finish the pizza without feeling like you've overeaten. I would prefer it if the pizzas were smaller and the price a bit more reasonable. That would also fit the overall picture better for me. The pasta dishes that some of my colleagues had, on the other hand, were quite manageable in portions – the exact opposite. The taste was probably okay, but compared to the pizza, it seemed unbalanced. Drinks: I had two shandys – unfortunately served in a nondescript soda glass, without foam, and not a visual or taste highlight. Conclusion: Atmosphere: pleasant and harmonious Service: friendly and attentive Food: okay, but portion sizes were unbalanced Value for money: could be improved All in all, solid, but with room for improvement. I might come back for a private meal – but only if the portion sizes were a bit more realistic. Or you could simply share a pizza between two people, and it's fine.

We always enjoy coming here. Whether for business trips, birthdays, or just a quick lunch, the staff is always friendly and helpful. The restaurant itself is always very clean, and the terrace overlooking the Rhine bridge is always lovely. The food is always fresh and delicious. Parking is available in the parking garage next door or below. The prices are reasonable, too. We always enjoy coming back.

Best L'Osteeia pizza 🍕 we've ever eaten!

The staff were inattentive, and cleaning bottles and talking was more important than bringing the menu to the guests. After we asked at the bar when we could get the menu, the waiter finally came. After about 10 minutes, they finally brought us the menu. The food was good. We didn't even get a goodbye when we left.

Never see Italian food like this.

You can get a huge pizza at an affordable price. You can also get a half-and-half pizza, so you can enjoy a variety of flavors. The atmosphere of the restaurant is great, so it was a fun place to eat even with a large group.

Tables too small if everyone buys pizza

Ordered with Uber Eats. Unfortunately, the service was completely below the standard you'd expect from Losteria. An overpriced salad with a bit of chicken breast and half-wilted lettuce for €16. A pizza with 5 counted pieces of chicken and equally wilted lettuce to top it off... extra mozzarella cubes weren't put on the pizza either, so a €2.50 surcharge was also for nothing. This €22 pizza definitely could have been saved. Then there's a €3.50 service charge on top, but for what? All in all, truly disappointing and doesn't reflect the usual Losteria restaurants. We won't be ordering from here again in the future. Best regards.

The pasta and desserts are also a delight every time. The staff is super friendly, attentive, and creates a relaxed atmosphere. Add to that the lovely ambiance, where you immediately feel at home. Whether with friends, family, or just the two of you – a visit is always worth it!

We were there for lunch with 10 people. We had limited time. The service was exceptionally friendly and quick, and everything went smoothly. We especially liked the fact that English was spoken fluently, and special requests (no tomatoes, etc.) were no problem.

We dined at the Losteria Bonn Rheinwerk on October 15, 2025. Adrian was our server that evening, and we were very impressed with his service. He was not only very attentive, but also very courteous and friendly. We didn't have to wait long for the food, and it was delicious. The restaurant has a very pleasant ambiance with a great view of the Rhine. We would love to come back!

I'm now quite disappointed with the service at L'Osteria. I don't want to blame the employees, but rather the managers, as I feel their work is poorly organized. There was a long line in front of the restaurant. I had reserved a table and immediately joined the queue (which is what an employee had initially told me). Most of the people in front of me didn't have a reservation, so we were only assigned a table after asking again. Unfortunately, the ushers only appeared every five minutes, so everything dragged on. This could be better organized. The drinks arrived after about 15 minutes, and the pizzas only arrived after about an hour. This also leaves a lot to be desired.

Nice reception and given option for indoor or outdoor. The service was very slow and not attentive at all, we had to ask for everything! The individual food, starters and main, all came at different times and took a very long time, we might as well been eating on our own. The pizzas were cold when they came out and clearly had been sitting on the side in the kitchen. The pasta dishes were very average and nothing special at all. Overall a very disappointing evening!! And I think the kitchen was simply overwhelmed.

Pizzas are good, location is great..... But a large queue outside with 15 empty tables on the terrace (and very few people inside) makes no sense. Much better to be sitting down, waiting with a drink (and advice that the kitchen will be slower), than standing around in a queue outside. Very understandable that kitchens are busy, not as clear the logic of not letting people sit down.

The two of us went to L'Osteria at Bonner Bogen and sat outside – the terrace is truly beautiful and invites you to linger. I had a goat cheese salad with beetroot, walnuts, apple, and fresh lettuce, along with two slices of bread. Very tasty and a great combination! I had a rhubarb spritzer with it, and my friend had a currant spritzer. She also ordered a pizza that you could even split half and half – one side with prosciutto, the other with rustico. The pizza tasted great – but was significantly too large for the plate. Since it's also served uncut, it was almost a juggling act to divide the slices properly. This deducts a small point, even though the quality of the food didn't suffer as a result. We found everything absolutely reasonable in terms of price, and the service was super friendly and attentive. Overall, a very pleasant evening with delicious food. We'll definitely be back!

Today I was there again at Portlandweg 4 in Bonn. The pizza was good as always, but unfortunately, the waitress let the grease that had collected on the pizza drip onto my pants. It was pretty annoying. She apologized, but it didn't really help me for the rest of the day in those pants...

I really enjoy eating at Losteria during my lunch break and always receive friendly service. Steffi is particularly attentive and asks at appropriate intervals if I need anything else.

Top notch as always. Typical L'Osteria. Unfortunately, one of the taps is broken, and they don't have any wheat beer on tap. Two weeks later: There's no cold bottled beer, and the tap for the pilsner isn't cooling properly. Conclusion: No cold beer. I have zero sympathy for this, and this was the last time I'll be here for a while. I have no idea how all the other L'Osterias manage it, except this one.

Unfortunately, half of the order was forgotten and the food was very late. But it tasted very good.

About two weeks ago, my wife and I dined here on a Saturday evening. Even though the place was practically bursting with customers inside and out, we received a very warm welcome and excellent service throughout the evening. I have to give a huge shout-out to the manager (I think Stefan), who seated every arriving guest graciously and even took the time to chat and laugh with them at the tables. I ate at L'Osteria and sat on the terrace opposite the entrance. I ate my pizzas, which the friendly bartender had brought me on plates. I then wanted to order something to eat from the waitress and was told that they weren't serving guests in the back part of the terrace. We asked the friendly bartender if we could order from him, and he served us directly and brought us our drinks. I've never been served on the terrace at 5:30 p.m. on a Saturday.
