Great location with outdoor seating. Advance reservations are recommended, as it gets busy. The noise level inside, however, can be exhausting.

Unfortunately, the service was absolutely terrible. We waited an hour for our food, despite asking. The waitress was never around, and we had to chase her. It's a shame, really. The pizzas were good. The salads were so-so.

Very tasty pizzas and friendly service! We went there for lunch for the third time as a large family group with seven children. Everyone enjoyed it.

Rotten lettuce and dry chicken fillet...the food was abysmal. The lettuce was black in places (!), and the chicken fillet wasn't freshly cooked, but reheated and extremely dry. The small side salad for €5.90 is also outrageous. LOsteria clearly doesn't care (anymore) about quality. It's a shame, because the staff and location are good, but they can't make up for the shortcomings, since, after all, you come primarily for the food.

The ambiance is definitely the best at L'Osteria am Rhein. When the weather's nice, you can sit outside. The pizzas are okay. They can't compare to a real Italian pizza. But the selection is good. The price of €18.50 for the most expensive pizza is above average. The staff needs more training in terms of friendliness, courtesy, and service.

The location is great, right on the Rhine. We had reserved a table and had previously informed them that it was my wife's birthday, which is why we were from Franconia, spending a weekend in Bonn, and asked for a nice table. It was okay, but right next to a large table full of students, it was very loud. The service from the waiter was similar. I flirted more with the younger guests. The food was inconsistent. Pizza was good, but I had lasagna, which was completely burnt and therefore hard, and of course, the taste wasn't that great. We also ordered some specials, which were initially forgotten and then brought shortly before the end of the meal. Cocktails 🍸 were 😋. But we've already been to a few locations, like Fürth, Wuppertal, Munich, etc., but yesterday, for my wife's big birthday, it was only mediocre.

The worst pizza experience ever. After 48 minutes, they told us they lost the order... just like that... they didn't even rush to make another pizza. Terrible service!!! If you want rude staff, I'll tell you, there are several here.

The food is always great, the service is always terrible. I've been there many times. Whether it's busy or not, the service is very slow. You have to repeatedly call for attention, even with an empty glass, before the waiter feels compelled to take a new order.

Yesterday, we went to L'Osteria in Bonn with four adults and a toddler, and unfortunately, the visit was once again a complete disappointment, just like last time. The reception was nonexistent. There was no greeting, and no indication of where we could sit. After we approached a waiter, we were told we could sit outside where the cards were on the table. When we did, we were suddenly told that that wasn't possible. The same thing happened at a second table. When we asked, we were told the tables were "too big" for four people – even though we were traveling with a child and needed five seats. In the end, we were seated at a small table between two other groups, where it was extremely cramped. The high chair only fit snugly between them. Shortly afterward, another server came and said we couldn't sit there because she couldn't get through there easily; it would be too awkward for her to serve. Overall, the way we were treated was anything but friendly or customer-oriented. It's disappointing that we were repeatedly moved without clear communication. We then moved to the neighboring restaurant. The staff there were friendly and welcoming, and the food was delicious. It's a shame, because we wanted to give L'Osteria another chance after our last bad experience. But after this experience, we definitely won't be coming back.

I don't usually review L'Osterie restaurants, but I thought it was really good. On Father's Day, which was a stressful day, the team did a great job. And the pasta was al dente. The bruscheta appetizer never arrived, but no matter. They apologized. It was just a tough day.

We celebrated a bachelor party at Losteria. Everything was great. The waiter, Tim, was very friendly and had a great overview. 👍😃

The service was impeccable and always attentive. The pizza, as always, was delicious. I realize that this isn't a classic Italian family restaurant where you sit with friends for hours. An atmosphere that invites you to linger isn't there, and is probably not even desired to maintain high throughput. However, even a fast-food chain should consider all aspects of a hospitable environment. I was particularly bothered by the condition of the restrooms. This certainly also has something to do with the behavior of the guests. In my opinion, however, they could at least check and improve their condition from time to time. Especially on a holiday like yesterday, you should expect more guests. It's a shame that our comment about the conditions was met with a rather laconic response.

Caesar salad didn't have enough sauce and croutons

We were sitting outside with about 15 people, and they didn't feel the need to serve us. They said we wouldn't serve them out here and they had to go inside, even though they were serving tables 3 meters away outside. Very poor service. We then went to a decent restaurant.

I wouldn't recommend the vegan pizza! However, since I recently switched to vegan, I can say that the pizzas are generally very tasty and the cheese is very flavorful. The service was very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, however, it was a bit loud, especially on busy days, making it difficult to have a conversation.

We picked up food to take away. 2 x Spaghetti Carbonara. One portion of carbonara was only a quarter full, with no ingredients, except for just 6 small pieces of bacon. There was no seasoning at all. The other portion had all the ingredients, but here, too, you had to hunt for the bacon. This one also lacked any seasoning. A shame. That was probably it.

Food was good, service was too distracted and untrained. Music was way too loud.

Solid. I had pre-ordered drinks, but they didn't know about it. Better not to offer them if they can't manage it. It was a shame. Still, 4 stars—it was fun.

Unfortunately, everything was average, nothing special. I think the prices are a bit high for such a simple restaurant! And changing a side dish from some pasta to spaghetti from a dish costs extra, but it's not mentioned! That's poor! We wouldn't recommend it! A shame!

On the Rhine, it doesn't get any better!

We had a great evening at L'Osteria Rheinwerk! The food was super tasty and came to us really quickly, which is always very pleasant when visiting a restaurant. The staff were consistently polite and friendly, no matter how stressful the situation was - you really feel personally welcomed and well looked after. The general manager was also very polite and accommodating, which made the stay even more pleasant. The view of the Rhine while eating is particularly impressive - simply breathtaking and perfect for taking a relaxing digestive walk afterwards. Overall, an absolute top recommendation! We will definitely come back and are already looking forward to our next visit

I didn't have a reservation and asked how long the waiting time would be without a reservation. I was assured that it shouldn't take more than 15 minutes. After almost 35 minutes, I politely asked if the lady still remembered me. I was told rather bluntly that reserved guests have priority. So I think to myself, why do you make the guests wait half an hour in front of the entrance instead of saying that space won't be available in the foreseeable future?

The restaurant has a superb atmosphere and I tried a Margherita pizza which was really big and with the extra parmesan I enjoyed it

The food came quickly, was absolutely delicious, the servers were kind and respectful, and the arm was so welcoming and friendly. My friends and I came in to escape the rain, and stayed because of how nice it was. 10/10 would recommend

We really enjoy coming here with the children. The waiters are great, but the staff who assign the table or accept the reservation are always stressed and show it very openly. So unfortunately the intro isn't very welcoming...

Super nice courteous service. All the employees were very friendly and super organized. You don't miss anything, there is plenty of bread and everything you need to eat. The drinks and food are extremely tasty. Pleasant location and great location on the Rhine. The manager runs this location with great passion, which you can feel on site.

The food is good. My salad was a bit bland and the lasagna was tasty, but a rather small portion compared to the oversized, really good pizzas. It's also a real shame that no solution was found for the poor acoustics during the renovation. The noise level inside is still very (!) and too loud. The service was A1 for us!

Vorsicht – Lebensmittelvergiftung nach Pizza! Mein Freund hat dort die Pizza Salsiccia Piccante gegessen und bekam noch am selben Abend starke Beschwerden: mehrfaches Erbrechen und Durchfall. Es war eindeutig eine Lebensmittelvergiftung! Das Restaurant wirkte zwar äußerlich sauber, aber das Erlebnis war für uns schockierend. Wir haben seitdem natürlich kein Vertrauen mehr in die Hygiene oder Frische der Zutaten. Wir möchten andere damit warnen – vor allem, wenn ihr empfindlich seid oder mit Kindern kommt. Für uns war das leider der erste und letzte Besuch.

Staff nice, location Losteria style lives from the location on the Bonner Bogen. Food was good but lasagna was a bit small for over €15. Background noise loud. But overall it's okay. I go there often because I live within walking distance. I found it a bit of a shame that they asked for information when making a reservation but you didn't really "live it" Was there with daughters, grandchildren and friends and wrote: Reserved because it was my birthday

I've eaten there several times before but this time we were disappointed with the pizza. Not particularly tasty and a hell of a lot of cheese in the middle and not baked

The ambience and staff are great as always, but the food is getting worse and worse. The pizzas were ok but also better and the ice cream is really ridiculous. So the “Amarena” cherry ice cream in particular is not recommended, it has nothing to do with Amarena or cherry.

Die Atmosphäre ist schön, man sitzt nett, und die Pizza ist normalerweise ok. Leider war gestern irgendwas schlecht, so dass mein Mann und ich nach dem Essen dort mit heftigem Durchfall und Übelkeit zu kämpfen hatten. Die Kinder waren ok. Enttäuschend war, dass L‘Osteria auf meine Mail hierzu bisher nicht reagiert hat.

Food very good. Super friendly service. Lugana white wine very tasty and inexpensive. Unfortunately, we were not told that the digital card for the points now has to be scanned on site and cannot be scanned later from the invoice as before. Now the points have expired and the people from the service email address are not responding. Too bad

Nice waiters, nice shop, good pizza!

We were greeted very nicely and were told that since we had reserved for 5:30 p.m. we could sit at a free table by the window. Unfortunately we sat there for almost 20 minutes before we were even spoken to by the waiter and given our cards. We chose our food very quickly, but it wasn't until another twenty minutes later that our order was taken. It was very busy on Sunday evening, so it was understandable that it took a little longer! But we think the 40-minute wait until the order is taken is a bit too long. We waited almost half an hour for the food. Unfortunately, there was a hair on my companion's pizza, so they kindly re-prepared it for us. We actually really enjoy going to the losteria, even at other locations, but I've often noticed that the service staff simply can't keep up with the huge rush.
