Delicious pizza and bruschetta. Unfortunately, they didn't have any "Helles" Krombacher beer that day. Service was friendly and quick. Despite having a reservation, we had to wait a bit for a table. But I didn't mind.

I was at L'Osteria today and was served by Lili – super friendly, attentive, and welcoming! 😊 The food was, as always, delicious, fresh, and served quickly. The pizza, in particular, was perfectly cooked, and the pasta was incredibly good. The manager also made a great impression; very competent, present, and personable. You can tell he motivates his team and has everything under control. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable visit – I'll definitely be back!

The food was very good, and the atmosphere was beautiful. However, the service was not very pleasant. The lady serving us seemed upset when we asked to change our table and placed the drinks rather harshly. After the dishes were taken away, the table wasn’t cleaned, so I had to wipe it myself, and we decided not to order dessert because of that.

I was at L'Osteria Bonn Rheinwerk with a large group for business. The ambiance is really pleasant – modern, stylish, but not stuffy. The service was attentive and friendly; our waiter kept an eye on everything and was quick to arrive. A compliment for that in advance. The dishes, however, have a few weaknesses in terms of quantity to price. The pizzas are huge – really huge. Sure, that's L'Osteria's trademark, but at some point it just becomes too much of a good thing. You can barely finish the pizza without feeling like you've overeaten. I would prefer it if the pizzas were smaller and the price a bit more reasonable. That would also fit the overall picture better for me. The pasta dishes that some of my colleagues had, on the other hand, were quite manageable in portions – the exact opposite. The taste was probably okay, but compared to the pizza, it seemed unbalanced. Drinks: I had two shandys – unfortunately served in a nondescript soda glass, without foam, and not a visual or taste highlight. Conclusion: Atmosphere: pleasant and harmonious Service: friendly and attentive Food: okay, but portion sizes were unbalanced Value for money: could be improved All in all, solid, but with room for improvement. I might come back for a private meal – but only if the portion sizes were a bit more realistic. Or you could simply share a pizza between two people, and it's fine.

I ate here once. It felt like my food was forgotten and then prepared in a hurry, and it could have taken a bit longer. But I've had much better dishes at other locations.

We spontaneously stopped by L'Osteria for dinner one Saturday evening and were absolutely thrilled! Despite the time of day, we were seated immediately and received friendly service. Our food arrived in less than 10 minutes – super fast, hot, and absolutely delicious. The entire team was very friendly and accommodating, and the restaurant was also immaculately clean. We felt completely at home and would come back anytime. Highly recommended! 🍕🍝👏

We always enjoy coming here. Whether for business trips, birthdays, or just a quick lunch, the staff is always friendly and helpful. The restaurant itself is always very clean, and the terrace overlooking the Rhine bridge is always lovely. The food is always fresh and delicious. Parking is available in the parking garage next door or below. The prices are reasonable, too. We always enjoy coming back.

Best L'Osteeia pizza 🍕 we've ever eaten!

The staff were inattentive, and cleaning bottles and talking was more important than bringing the menu to the guests. After we asked at the bar when we could get the menu, the waiter finally came. After about 10 minutes, they finally brought us the menu. The food was good. We didn't even get a goodbye when we left.

Never see Italian food like this.

You can get a huge pizza at an affordable price. You can also get a half-and-half pizza, so you can enjoy a variety of flavors. The atmosphere of the restaurant is great, so it was a fun place to eat even with a large group.

Tables too small if everyone buys pizza

Ordered with Uber Eats. Unfortunately, the service was completely below the standard you'd expect from Losteria. An overpriced salad with a bit of chicken breast and half-wilted lettuce for €16. A pizza with 5 counted pieces of chicken and equally wilted lettuce to top it off... extra mozzarella cubes weren't put on the pizza either, so a €2.50 surcharge was also for nothing. This €22 pizza definitely could have been saved. Then there's a €3.50 service charge on top, but for what? All in all, truly disappointing and doesn't reflect the usual Losteria restaurants. We won't be ordering from here again in the future. Best regards.

The pasta and desserts are also a delight every time. The staff is super friendly, attentive, and creates a relaxed atmosphere. Add to that the lovely ambiance, where you immediately feel at home. Whether with friends, family, or just the two of you – a visit is always worth it!

We were there for lunch with 10 people. We had limited time. The service was exceptionally friendly and quick, and everything went smoothly. We especially liked the fact that English was spoken fluently, and special requests (no tomatoes, etc.) were no problem.

We dined at the Losteria Bonn Rheinwerk on October 15, 2025. Adrian was our server that evening, and we were very impressed with his service. He was not only very attentive, but also very courteous and friendly. We didn't have to wait long for the food, and it was delicious. The restaurant has a very pleasant ambiance with a great view of the Rhine. We would love to come back!

Waited 40 minutes for 1 single pizza for take away. It was a Sunday and only 1/3 of the restaurant was occupied. Unbelievable.

It was good. My Italian friend collapsed over the Hawaiian pizza on the menu. We had to call the ambulance.

Nice reception and given option for indoor or outdoor. The service was very slow and not attentive at all, we had to ask for everything! The individual food, starters and main, all came at different times and took a very long time, we might as well been eating on our own. The pizzas were cold when they came out and clearly had been sitting on the side in the kitchen. The pasta dishes were very average and nothing special at all. Overall a very disappointing evening!! And I think the kitchen was simply overwhelmed.

Pizzas are good, location is great..... But a large queue outside with 15 empty tables on the terrace (and very few people inside) makes no sense. Much better to be sitting down, waiting with a drink (and advice that the kitchen will be slower), than standing around in a queue outside. Very understandable that kitchens are busy, not as clear the logic of not letting people sit down.

I'm now quite disappointed with the service at L'Osteria. I don't want to blame the employees, but rather the managers, as I feel their work is poorly organized. There was a long line in front of the restaurant. I had reserved a table and immediately joined the queue (which is what an employee had initially told me). Most of the people in front of me didn't have a reservation, so we were only assigned a table after asking again. Unfortunately, the ushers only appeared every five minutes, so everything dragged on. This could be better organized. The drinks arrived after about 15 minutes, and the pizzas only arrived after about an hour. This also leaves a lot to be desired.

The two of us went to L'Osteria at Bonner Bogen and sat outside – the terrace is truly beautiful and invites you to linger. I had a goat cheese salad with beetroot, walnuts, apple, and fresh lettuce, along with two slices of bread. Very tasty and a great combination! I had a rhubarb spritzer with it, and my friend had a currant spritzer. She also ordered a pizza that you could even split half and half – one side with prosciutto, the other with rustico. The pizza tasted great – but was significantly too large for the plate. Since it's also served uncut, it was almost a juggling act to divide the slices properly. This deducts a small point, even though the quality of the food didn't suffer as a result. We found everything absolutely reasonable in terms of price, and the service was super friendly and attentive. Overall, a very pleasant evening with delicious food. We'll definitely be back!

The restaurant offers a very pleasant atmosphere with a modern yet cozy ambiance. The menu is varied and well-thought-out, offering both traditional and creative dishes. The service was attentive but unobtrusive, and wait times were pleasantly short. The freshness of the ingredients, which you could taste in every dish, is particularly noteworthy. The value for money here is absolutely spot on.

Top notch as always. Typical L'Osteria. Unfortunately, one of the taps is broken, and they don't have any wheat beer on tap. Two weeks later: There's no cold bottled beer, and the tap for the pilsner isn't cooling properly. Conclusion: No cold beer. I have zero sympathy for this, and this was the last time I'll be here for a while. I have no idea how all the other L'Osterias manage it, except this one.

I really enjoy eating at Losteria during my lunch break and always receive friendly service. Steffi is particularly attentive and asks at appropriate intervals if I need anything else.

You can also share it – either one of two pizza creations from the menu – or one shared on two plates for two people. 🫶 Pasta dishes and salads are also great, with a nice selection. Super friendly service, super food

About two weeks ago, my wife and I dined here on a Saturday evening. Even though the place was practically bursting with customers inside and out, we received a very warm welcome and excellent service throughout the evening. I have to give a huge shout-out to the manager (I think Stefan), who seated every arriving guest graciously and even took the time to chat and laugh with them at the tables. Chapeau, that's service! :)

I ate at L'Osteria and sat on the terrace opposite the entrance. I ate my pizzas, which the friendly bartender had brought me on plates. I then wanted to order something to eat from the waitress and was told that they weren't serving guests in the back part of the terrace. We asked the friendly bartender if we could order from him, and he served us directly and brought us our drinks. I've never been served on the terrace at 5:30 p.m. on a Saturday.

The service during our visit was truly outstanding. The food and drinks were brought to the table very quickly, and it tasted delicious. My daughter even got something to paint on and later real pizza dough to knead. The staff were incredibly helpful and very child-friendly. Thank you so much.

We've been visiting L'Osteria on and off for many years and have been very satisfied with the food, especially the oversized and delicious pizzas and the option to share them with different toppings and enjoy an appetizer and/or dessert. The value for money is absolutely excellent. We were greeted, served, and bid farewell by very friendly and attentive staff, and we spent a lovely evening together. We highly recommend L'Osteria.

Delicious. But the service was a bit overwhelmed.

Service was very slow, but I don't mind that; it was busy and everyone gets overwhelmed sometimes. What isn't okay, however, is that I ordered the only vegan pizza on the menu, and it was topped with cow's milk cheese. The result: stomach cramps. That shouldn't happen, especially not in chain restaurants, where the kitchen has strict instructions on how everything should be prepared anyway.

A shout-out to Lilly, the waitress, who kept an eye on everything in such warm weather. I sat with friends between two tables who were anything but patient and constantly complained. It was very warm and quite busy. I work in the restaurant industry myself and know how difficult it is to please everyone -> unfortunately, not possible. We waited a good 45 minutes for the food, but it was definitely worth it. I'll have to come back to Bonn more often ❤️

We reserved a table and were told to just pick a free, unreserved seat. We waited about 40 minutes to even get served. We waited another hour or so for the food to arrive because we were "unfortunately forgotten." In the end, we weren't even given a goodbye. (Probably because there was no tip.)

Great location on the Rhine, very good service, and good to excellent food and drinks. Parking is a bit expensive, but the underground garage is right in the building. A walk along the Rhine before or after dinner is a great option, with a beautiful view of the Siebengebirge mountains. Highly recommended.

The usual quality at this osteria is actually okay. However, since the service staff here was extremely slow and the atmosphere is worse than other restaurants in the same chain, I can't give it more than 3 stars.

Pizza Togo with a view of the Rhine 👍

The food was rather mediocre. However, the service in the restaurant was abysmal – we were served by a total of five different waiters, and everything was completely chaotic. There were messy tables everywhere. Several times a waiter told us he'd be right there to take our order, but in the end, we ended up waiting a total of 1.5 to 2 hours!

I can only agree with the previous reviews regarding service and quality. The team is probably seriously understaffed and therefore stressed. Arguments are played out in front of the customers - in my opinion, that's definitely the main reason why it only gets one star - as a guest, you come to have a good time, and that's what you pay for. Long waits, completely bored service. No greeting when you arrive, no 'ciao' when you leave. The friendliness and attentiveness that you're used to from other branches is not there. The restrooms smell of sewage, and the floor was covered in toilet paper (which is obviously the customers' fault, not the staff's, but still not inviting). Some of our pasta was cold, the portion was very manageable, the pizza was typically large, but not as tasty as in other restaurants. The drinks were good. The meat was tough. It's a shame, because the location is fantastic and the seating is nice, especially in the back or outside.

I honestly don't know why we keep putting ourselves through this: It's happened so often now that the (mostly semi-trained) service staff/waiters "don't get anything done" or refuse to do their job. After ordering our drinks, we were kept waiting over 20 minutes for our food order, which we then declined because we preferred another pizzeria and were tired of it. This was preceded by the request to "please clean the table." We suspect that they intentionally made us wait for this reason. They don't need employees like them. In any case, their kind should go there. We are turning our backs on this place for good.

A very nice location with a great view. Unfortunately, it's the only thing that could be praised here. The service is rather lackluster, untrained and possibly totally overwhelmed. We sat outside and there were only two waiters for the entire outdoor area. It's almost understandable that you completely lose track of things here. Drinks are brought to your table without enthusiasm, as if you were in a drive-through. We also ordered food. Pizza of the usual size. The salad we ordered with shrimp was barely edible. The shrimp were dry and the salad tasted as if it had been prepared for someone else who didn't want it. The leaves were almost drowned in the sauce. Unfortunately, under these circumstances I would not visit the restaurant again.

The pizza tasted bad. The pizza dough was tough and couldn't be cut with a knife, only shredded. The toppings were indefinable. The chicken breast strips listed as a topping on the menu were few and far between.

Cozy on the Rhine and a world apart from Losteria in Troisdorf-Spich. You can have a pleasant conversation here, and the atmosphere is great. Parking is easy, for example, on the nearby street. In Spich, you wait to place an order, the food takes a long time, and you wait again to pay. So, if you have a choice, choose Losteria Rheinwerk when it's sunny outside and not just inside!
