L'Osteria Wertheim Almosenberg in Wertheim

"Hihi oops, it's a little too big" seems to be the pizzeria's trademark slogan. First of all: The staff is very friendly and accommodating, the atmosphere is very cozy. The criticism refers to the pizza itself. Size isn't everything when the dough feels like 0.1mm thick in the middle - I didn't have my caliper with me and have to estimate - and you can see the bottom of the plate through the dough. It was very tasty, no question about it. Depending on the pizza we ordered, the toppings were very poor. Hawaii is very frowned upon, but if the pineapple comes from a wholesale can, you could give it a lot without having to search for it. Personally, I think the pizzas would be much better if they had quality instead of quantity (in this case, size). But the customer is happy when the pizza looks 10cm outside the box. It was delicious and the staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly, but I wouldn't eat there again due to the thin dough.

Very nice and well-kept restaurant 🍴 with super friendly service and staff. Food and drinks are very tasty 😋 and in a good atmosphere with a good price and performance ratio. 😉

The food was again very tasty and the service staff was very attentive. The constantly playing music bothered us. There was a lot going on in L'Osteria, there was a lot of talking and chatting, and it was correspondingly loud throughout the restaurant. The music was completely unnecessary for us and was really annoying as it amplified the background noise.

Perfect from the reservation to the service, the food (everything can be put together individually) to the payment!

We've eaten here several times and it's always been very good. Everything okay The carrot soup is a poem. Spaghetti with shrimp as well... Some of the waiters could be a little more attentive (had to ask for cutlery and napkins) but most of the girls are in great shape - they don't miss a thing

Then you tip another 3 euros because you were really satisfied.. So I paid 66 euros for 3 people instead of 53.. Too bad...

Ladies and Gentlemen I would like to draw your attention to yesterday's situation. We had a dinner date with my family at 5 p.m. and the quality of the food was nowhere near what I expected, nor what I'm used to. Both my sons and I had stomach problems after eating all night. My oldest threw up in the morning and my little one had to be picked up from school because he still has stomach problems. There was probably something wrong with both the Bolognese and the lasagna we ordered, because my wife had no problems after the pizza. This week was the fourth time and I think the seventh time this month that we had lunch or dinner there (mostly business people from Wertheim Village), but there were never any problems. The ambience is nice. And that's the most positive thing. Pizza took a very long time, about 45 minutes. The floor was nice and thin but hard like Italian marble. The service is, to put it nicely, crappy and not the fastest. Drinks are sometimes simply forgotten. My tip: go to the Maxi-Autohof opposite and drag in a schnitzel pan, for Generation Z, McDonalds (because they can't find the Autohof anyway. 😃 2 stars because the food smelled good.

Nothing negative. Pizzas too big. Dough delicious. Little documented. Pizza several centimeters larger all around than the edge of the plate. That's a shame about the food. Pizza boxes will be handed out to take away the leftovers. The location has little to do with a homely Italian ristorante. But that's not to be expected next to the Autobahn and Wertheim Village.

We wanted to reserve a table for 5 people over the phone. The employee brushed me off with the information that I should reserve online because she didn't have a plan at the moment. So when I made the reservation online, I said it was a birthday dinner. Nevertheless, the table reservation was automatically confirmed for only 1.5 hours. So there will be no dessert... We were warmly greeted by a member of staff on site and offered two different tables to choose from. It was very loud and crowded. The very high ceiling creates a cool and uncomfortable atmosphere. The pasta we ordered was good, the salad was a bit soggy and the pizzas tasted good but were too light. The prices are not cheap, especially for the non-alcoholic drinks. The toilet can only be reached via a long staircase. (Unfortunately we didn't see a disabled toilet.) The women's toilet was disgraceful. L'Osteria apparently has a hygiene problem. Two of the four toilet cubicles had been permanently locked. Disinfectant dispensers were provided in the two usable ones, but they were not filled. Since the toilets were absolutely not clean, I thought that was a shame. There is a very long, deep sink with two taps. The water from the previous users was still in the basin, it was filled several centimeters high and did not drain because the drain was apparently blocked. I know such sanitary conditions in public toilet facilities at motorway parking lots and I don't expect this in a pizzeria. Sorry, but we won't do that anymore.

Good Italian dishes. Huge pizzas. Pleasant prices. I liked it.

Great location with parking right in front of the door. Be sure to reserve if you don't feel like waiting outside the door. Great atmosphere with attractive staff who are on point. Salad portions could be larger, when ordering burata you don't expect cherry tomatoes in the tomatoes. But the salad with strips of beef fillet was a poem, rarely eaten in such a format, such tender strips of beef fillet and seasoned so perfectly. Pizzas are huge, of course. Toilet super chic and well maintained. A great service for such a large chain, you can recommend it to others with a clear conscience and go there again after shopping.

The BBQ Chicken and Salsiccia Piccante pizzas are particularly recommended. The service was good. However, you should make a reservation on the weekend or arrive early as it is very busy.

What do you ask of a pizzeria? Nice ambience, good food, drinks and great service. All of this is fulfilled by L'Osteria. Unfortunately, the pizzas are larger than the plates and are therefore difficult to process. If you're slightly hungry, there's also "half". The dough is wafer-thin and the pizza tastes delicious. Finally: There was nothing left, even the side salad had found its place :-) and the empty seats in the photos were quickly filled. Until next time, I promise. P.S. If you take a lot of time, you can also learn Italian on the toilet. :-)

We had reserved, otherwise we probably wouldn't have gotten in. Too few staff for Saturday evening. Unfortunately, I only came to order drinks/food and pay. Pizza would have needed 1 minute in the oven. Unfortunately the carbonara wasn't prepared in Italian either. But otherwise good. The kitchen crew does a good job. Please to the boss. The 4 lamps on the oven are out of place. 1 flat on the ceiling and the boys are happy. Personally, it was too full for me.

Very nice restaurant chain with delicious food. We were there on Saturday evening and it was really busy. Without a reservation it would have been difficult to get a table. Unfortunately, the side salad was served too late, but it came after the main course and was not charged as a gesture of goodwill. The food itself was all delicious, the pizzas are huge. I think the prices are okay.

Don't drive past, definitely stop by and eat pizza...

Great food, friendly staff, nicely decorated. Despite the size, everyone is very friendly and the waiting time isn't too long. Huge pizzas and great pasta dishes. The coffee from our own roastery is also very good. Despite the hustle and bustle, the friendliness is great.

We were there yesterday and were warmly welcomed at the door by a service person with long brown hair and a black cardigan who also served us afterwards. The food was very tasty and the service was top, we are looking forward to the next time.

This place is worth the 1 1/2 hour drive. With it being near the outlets that makes it more impressive. The food in my opinion is topped 10 on my list of foods for being in Germany.

L'Osteria is located right next to Wertheim Village and is therefore perfect for a detour before or after a shopping trip. Food: Typical L'Osteria menu, everything from pizza to salads and pasta is included. The implementation is very tasty, the portion size is more than fair. Normal prices despite the location right at the outlet. Service: Nice and fast service, nothing to complain about here. Ambiance: A chic L'osteria with cozy seating inside, outside and in the winter garden. The furnishings are stylish and cozy.

This afternoon we stood waiting in the entrance area with 10-20 people for about 15 minutes while we were all completely ignored by the staff, then left again. It was very rude that no one wanted to say how long it would take, we were very annoyed...

We are regulars here. Service is top, the food is well made. I like the atmosphere and, for me, a place to take a break. Thanks to the team!

Very cozy and great service, huge pizza with nothing on it. 10 mini slices of salami, 2 leaves of basil, a touch of tomato sauce and a little cheese. This for 15.50 is simply outrageous. No spice, nothing. Rarely have I had such a bad pizza

What great service despite the full restaurant. Great starters recommendation, a smile with every customer contact and dessert and coffee were also offered. This is really the exception in the catering industry. Big praise to the service staff. Pizza was okay, but not as usual due to the stress. Gladly again, but not during rush hour 😉

Of all the L'Osteria visits so far the best prosciutto e funghi pizza. My wife had an accident with the salt and was quickly given new food.

10/17 next attempt, everything was fine. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 10/15 Parts of the order were not delivered and the coffee on the house was unfortunately cold. The 2 dishes were brought with a 5 minute time difference. Went out hungry for the first time. ⭐⭐

Since we live nearby, we go there every now and then. Last Wednesday at around 4 p.m. everything was perfect, pizza & pasta very good, service friendly. Today we were there again, around 12.30 p.m. Unfortunately this time it was a disappointment. The greeting and service were friendly, as was the farewell. We ordered a pizza together, half Capricciosa, half Hawaii with water. The pizza arrived almost cold, the olives were on the Hawaiian instead of the Capricciosa. Paid over €20 for this - unfortunately that wasn't good this time. But the staff were always very friendly and helpful. What I didn't like were the many dog ​​owners in the restaurant - at lunchtime alone there were 3-4 dogs in the restaurant at the same time. For me, dogs don't belong in a restaurant.

Wir waren in der Vergangenheit öfters hier und waren immer zufrieden. Der Service war aufmerksam und das Essen war lecker. Bereits vor ca. 2 Monaten waren wir da und das Blatt hatte sich gewendet. Uns war nach dem Essen in der Osteria übel. Gestern dachten wir, okay, versuchen wir es doch noch einmal. Zweite Chance und so. Hätten wir besser nicht gemacht. Der Cesare Salat hat so lange fertig auf der Theke gestanden, dass er anschließend "überbacken" war, durch den Parmesan auf den gebratenen Hähnchenstreifen. Die Bedienung wies natürlich sämtliche Schuld von sich. Die Pizza.... na ja. Lecker ist anders! Und dabei ist das Essen da noch nicht mal günstig. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht! Wir werden diese Osteria in Wertheim /Almosenberg definitiv nicht mehr aufsuchen!!!! Vielleicht, eventuell eine, an einem anderen Standort, in der Hoffnung das dieses Restaurant besser ist....

We actually wanted to eat here today. There are two information boards in the entrance area: Please wait here, they will be placed! We did that too. All the other guests didn't seem to be interested in this, they left with the words: whoever is standing here waits past us forever and were actually shown a seat straight away. They don't care about us. Then we left without eating. There are other ways to eat something. But definitely never here again 🤷‍♀️.

The staff was very friendly and tried hard. The pizzas were very tasty, but half of the pizza was burnt black and not edible. When we asked about this, we were told “that’s normal for us”. Really a shame given the prices.

We went shopping, were hungry, and got a table. Service was very friendly, food came quickly, was hot and delicious. That's exactly how it should be for a quick meal. I wouldn't choose it for a cozy evening meal as it would be too loud and hectic for me. But it was just right for our purpose today!

Location, location, location. When you're so close to a shopping center you don't have to pay attention to the rest. You feel like you're in a train station restaurant, the music is way too loud, we didn't feel comfortable here. Food was ok. not more. The shop was dirty. The staff always tried hard. This L'Osteria is clearly not a recommendation for me.

Will not visit this Osteria again! Dirty floor, scratched glasses! You were directed to a table directly under the loudspeaker. When you asked why this table was, you got the succinct answer that you didn't know how many guests were still coming! The couple who arrived a few minutes later got a window seat! At the next table the dish came first and then the drinks! When we were told that the music was too loud, we were told that this volume was the default! In other Osteria restaurants things are... strange 🤨! We certainly won't be coming back!!!

Great pizza in an unusual ambience, great service, always courteous despite the large crowds, always quick food delivery, whether pasta pizza or gnocchi, everything goes wonderfully here. The only thing I don't think is so great is that there is no longer any Tegernsee beer 👍👌🏻🤘

Nice place but once we waited 45 minutes until we got a table even though there was a lot of space and we waited a long time for food and drinks The two times we waited 25 minutes to order a drink and 15 minutes to get it. The food was also very expensive for the little ones. The only thing that was okay was the pizzas, but that's okay

Standing in front of the door for a long time to be served - brought to your seat. The pizza isn't always the same, so sometimes it seems dry, depending on what you ordered. I don't think it's nice when you end up begging for a tip using the debit card reader. If the service was good, the tip comes naturally.
