L'Osteria Troisdorf in Troisdorf

Yesterday, 9 people were there with colleagues. We had a proper reservation. After arriving and registering, we were left standing in the entrance area (at the counter) for 10 minutes. Countless waiters and customers were running around us, and as a result, it was an obstacle course for us and the staff, and absolutely annoying! We were about to leave. Then, the table where two of us were sitting back to back with another table, and as expected, a waiter came every few minutes and we had to squeeze through. The order came... another adventure. The pizzas were very large, without question! It was still unclear how we were supposed to eat them at our table. Everything wouldn't fit on them. No one could move. It was absolutely uncomfortable! We just thought, wow, then the taste must be top-notch! BUT: Let's start with the portion sizes. The pizzas were very large and looked great at first, perhaps a little "colorless" in comparison. The lasagna was a disaster! So small that everyone at the table asked me what I had gotten! And they immediately offered to eat with us. (Based on the size of the pizza, we assumed everyone would leave some.) I asked the waiter if it was a mistake, and perhaps they had mistaken it for, say, a child's portion? But no, the portion size was regular! Okay..... Then the taste: a disgrace! The bottom layer was completely baked/burned onto the dish. The rest was mush and tasteless. I tried to complain, but got NO response! Some of the pizzas were slimy and mostly tasteless. Ultimately, a disaster! We've never eaten so badly and in such a bad atmosphere! Cleanliness is also part of the atmosphere! And it's worth (or better not) to take a look at the ceiling! People.....are you serious! So disgusting and full of cobwebs. The dust and dirt on the floors (in the corners) is pathetic for the restaurant!

We were there today with eight ten-year-old boys. A definite challenge for everyone 😅. Especially when a liter of Fanta and juice spilled all over the table and floor. The excellent waitress was always friendly and patient. Thank you for this service and the great pizzas.

The pizza tasted okay, but the service was poor. It didn't even have all the listed ingredients. But since we waited forever (including for drinks), I didn't want to complain and have to wait forever again. It was very loud, and unfortunately, there weren't enough servers for so many guests.

Very nice and good location. Top-notch food. The staff is always very friendly. Huge pizzas. The outside area is nicely shaded, but there are also a few sunny spots. The inside is nice, but often noisy, hence one star less.

We was at tis restaurant ,we received the menus and after 7 minutes somebody told us that table was reserved on the table was no notice that table was reservatet, an they told us to wait some 15 minutes and in our place put someone else, this it's act of no respect 😐

Unfortunately, not recommended! There were eight of us (four adults and four children). One child received his food about an hour late after arriving, while three received their starters as ordered. The starters were great, but definitely two stars. The main course was ordered incorrectly; we ordered pasta instead of pizza. One and a half hours later, the pasta I ordered still wasn't there. I politely said I wasn't hungry anymore. Then the waitress realized that the pasta hadn't been ordered in the first place. One pizza was full of onions, even though they weren't ordered. The price-performance ratio is really unfair. The atmosphere is like a dance bar. We definitely won't be going there again!

Beautiful interior design meets a strange location with industrial-park vibes. Otherwise, as expected.

We were there for dinner and I'd like to leave a little feedback: - Great and friendly staff...all of them! Great, keep it up. - Parking right outside the door and free of charge. Very good. - The food was really good! Pasta, pizza, and salad. Super high quality and large portions for a very fair price. - Absolutely fair price for what you get! - It was also great that there was hardly any wait from ordering to the food arriving (this probably saved the lives of my two sons, who were close to starving 😀) In short, an absolute recommendation, and we would go back anytime!

It's always a pleasure to be served warmly by the waiters and to watch the chefs roll out the pizzas. We're already looking forward to the next time with gigantic pizzas!

A pleasant place to eat. We received quick and friendly service. We ordered the Forza vegan pizza and the Prosciutto Funghi pizza. The pizzas were huge and incredibly delicious. Definitely worth the price. They also have lots of other veggie options and some vegan options as well. If we ever do another road trip in the area, we'll definitely go back!

We went there yesterday for the second time and were thrilled again. The portions are generous and delicious. The pizzas are sensationally large and have delicious toppings. We always share a pizza between two people, so it's easy to finish it all. I think it's great that you can even order each pizza half with different toppings. The service has also been very good so far. Our server yesterday was exceptionally polite, very attentive, and very prompt. Thanks for another great dinner! We had a reservation for 6:15 p.m., so we would have gotten a table even without a reservation. However, it filled up pretty quickly, so I would definitely recommend making a reservation, which is incredibly easy thanks to the option on the website.

We dined with 29 people. Tables were arranged without any problems, and the food arrived together for everyone. Very friendly service.

Unfortunately, the meal was lukewarm. The pasta was cold and the pizza was cold. The pasta was not cooked through. I find it outrageous to demand a tip using a device, even if you can refuse. Online appointments are quick, but specifying the length of stay is questionable.

Bad service. Pizzas with zero taste. And unfortunately, I paid way too much for bad food.

The pizzas are huge, delicious, and reasonably priced. The location is right off the highway. There's a terrace with umbrellas, although the tables are almost too small for the giant pizzas. 😉 The waiters were very friendly, the food came quickly. And the dog was provided with water. Great.

Top-notch L'Osteria, with a fantastic atmosphere that makes the food even more enjoyable. The staff was attentive and friendly at all times, making you feel completely at home. I can only recommend it to everyone; we will be back.

We went there after our visit to Phantasialand and can only rave about the service and quality in this restaurant. The service was friendly and very, very fast :) We had spaghetti ragu Bolognese and, of course, pizza proscoutto e funghi (ham and mushrooms), and the generous portions and the taste transported us back to Italy! Dolce Vita in the Cologne area. If we're ever in the area again, THIS visit will be an integral part of our trip 🍕🎊

I want to express my displeasure today, because this wasn't our first time here, but it's starting to get outrageous. The ambiance is nice, but it can also be very loud when it's full. Okay. The service can be good, but it doesn't have to be; if you're lucky, you'll have a friendly employee. The food is actually always good. But what's happening with the prices here? It's bad enough that there are apparently still enough people who can afford it as a family; everyone deserves it. But can you please explain why the pasta exchange (from penne to spaghetti) is charged all at once?????????? That's beyond outrageous! I'll gladly go somewhere else next time. Sorry!

Very delicious food and generally very friendly service. Unfortunately, I had a problem with my dish: the order slip was stuck under my pizza, completely soaked in oil – definitely not appetizing. After I informed two waiters and didn't get a satisfactory solution, Elena finally took care of me – with great attention and warmth. She removed the pizza from the bill and also offered me a small dessert as an apology. That was truly very thoughtful. I myself have 15 years of experience in the restaurant industry, both as a waitress and as a chef de rang. Mistakes happen everywhere – what matters is how you deal with them. That's exactly how I define service quality: accommodating the guest and letting them go home satisfied despite a mistake. For this reason, I would like to express my special thanks to Elena. Her efforts positively salvaged the evening.

The food was very good and the non-alcoholic martini was a dream.

Very large and very loud, service a bit slow at first. Huge pizzas, pasta drenched in cream sauce, salad so-so, many leaves already soggy.

The Margherita pizza was lukewarm, and the cheese on top was just disgusting. The filled pasta parcels weren't cooked through, and even after complaining, they didn't improve. I then ordered a pizza, which was also cold. Conclusion: A complete disaster. The only bright spot was the friendly service.

There were seven of us at the pizzeria, and we were absolutely thrilled! The service was super friendly, attentive, and really took the time for us. The food was fantastic—as always! Each of us ordered something different, and everyone was completely satisfied. A place we'll gladly return to!

Pure Disappointment We went to this restaurant, as we often do, this time with my wife. Unfortunately, it was a disaster. The waiter, rude and visibly annoyed, claimed I hadn't ordered my pizza the way my wife had. In the end, we received a pizza that was half wrong: one half was correct, the other half was supposed to be topped with spinach. Instead of bringing a new pizza, he suggested serving the missing topping separately. But the pizza was burnt anyway and visually a disaster. I ate what I could and left the rest. When we wanted to pay, the waiter simply said, "I'll clear the table first, then I'll come." After that, he ignored us for 15 minutes. Only when I went to a colleague myself did she promise to send the colleague. More waiting, then he came with a curt "Sorry" without any apology or explanation and took the money. I worked at this osteria myself a few years ago. Back then, if there was a problem with an order or reservation, we always found a polite solution. We would never have told a guest that he could not eat his pizza just because it was served incorrectly for whatever reason

Once again disappointed for the second time within a year, now I won't go there anymore. Food was cold. When asked if it tasted good, the answer was a clear no, okay, no tip, no service.

The food is far too expensive for the quality offered. Years ago, it used to be a great place in terms of quality, and I used to go there regularly, but now I avoid it. The atmosphere is so-so, and the music is usually way too loud. The service, however, was generally good.

As always, it was very nice and tasty.

Great and relaxed place, good for families

A mega pizza, hard to beat in terms of size. It tasted good, but somehow it was missing that finishing touch. The service was fast, attentive, but not intrusive. The value for money was okay by today's standards. However, if you're looking for a quiet conversation, this is definitely not the place for you. Not only does the reverberation effect lead to an immense volume, the loudspeaker system adds even more, which is a shame.

The ambiance is a cross between an airport terminal and a hotel bar. Not my thing. To each their own. Suitable for larger events. As for the food, I can only speak highly of the pizza. It's huge, but unfortunately a bit bland. Very lightly seasoned, which is probably intentional, so you can conjure up the desired result with all sorts of oils. So, it's worth experimenting. The clientele tends to be young.

Fabulous, giant pizzas, spacious and modern location, available parking, quite busy place and can be noisy.

We've been here several times in the last few weeks and have been impressed every time. The pizza, pasta, and side salads are always fresh and well-seasoned. The desserts are consistently delicious, too! In previous years, I sometimes found the dishes bland, but that has definitely changed! The service is also very friendly and prompt, and the atmosphere is still very pleasant and cozy!

Unfortunately, there was no feta cheese on our visit, which meant that about half of the salads were gone (with flavor ;), and the waiter wasn't even able to tell us if we could have had burrata instead. We were a fairly large group, which may have been a bit overwhelming for the staff, but I was also surprised that the salads weren't served until well after the pizzas. Otherwise, we enjoyed our meal, and the staff were always polite and unobtrusive, always asking if we needed anything else.

We spent our son's 9th birthday there with 9 lovely children, just eating a simple pizza before heading across the street to the bowling alley. I had, of course, reserved the large table in advance. The L'Osteria was still very empty at 12:00 PM. When we arrived, a carelessly crammed-together group of tables awaited us outside, and the waitress only came if you looked for them and asked them to. I emphasize that it was hardly busy at that time of day. It was a simple pizza order for the children. The pizzas arrived, but there were no plates or glasses. I constantly had to follow up – the waitress was completely listless, unsympathetic, and annoyed. It was a service disaster and incredibly nerve-wracking for me. They also only cleared the table after we asked them to pay! I subsequently wrote a long email to the management of the L'Osteria Troisdorf, but there was no response. Just think, I was even asked to write a review of my visit immediately afterward. The guys in the kitchen were charming; some of the kids even got to knead pizza dough. It's a chain restaurant, not a fancy Italian place, but attentive and moderate service should be included in the price. How can you treat your guests like that? Our group couldn't have been overlooked. Unbelievable. It's truly a shame that this birthday party there will be so poorly remembered.

Went for dinner at 4:30 p.m. on a Sunday. After 30 minutes of no service, I left frustrated. They didn't even ask for drinks until then. Never again at Losteria Troisdorf! Oh, and by the way: a bottle of still water would have cost €7.25. Cheeky.

Today was nothing at all. The restaurant was packed, which is fine. Despite having a reservation, we waited 30 minutes for a table. It seemed like there weren't enough staff on site. Tables weren't cleared. The food arrived cold, as is often the case at L'Osteria restaurants. Everything here is always up and down. It can go well (as it has often been) or, like today (as it has often been), it can be a complete failure.

Esra is one of the nicest waitresses I've met in my career, simply an honest and caring person with a kind soul. The food she recommended was excellent, and I really enjoyed the ambiance. However, I liked the chocolate soufflé better.

Yesterday, we went to L'Osteria with friends to celebrate a friend's birthday. Despite the packed house, the service was consistently attentive and friendly. Our waitress, Lena, was particularly personable, responded quickly, and always kept an eye on things. Drinks were brought promptly and were never empty. The food also arrived quickly and was delicious. A nice surprise: the birthday boy or girl received a free tiramisu – a really nice gesture. Overall, a relaxed and enjoyable evening in a pleasant atmosphere.

We ate there yesterday after my parents picked us up from the airport. We ALWAYS love L'Osteria, but in Troisdorf I'd like to highlight the particularly friendly staff! They were truly so friendly, chatty, and helpful. It won't be our last visit! :-)

Anyone who's experienced L'Osteria knows what to expect: huge pizzas with generous toppings. Of course, they can't compare to a real Italian restaurant, but the kids (and sometimes the parents too) still go back every now and then. It was our first time at L'Osteria in Troisdorf, but we felt like everything was a bit more expensive than at home. The bill was a bit shocking, but the food was impeccable. The service was a bit hectic at first, but it was also busy at that time of day. Later, it calmed down a bit, and the service was very attentive. All in all, very good, we'd go back anytime.

The food was delicious, as always. The service was a bit clumsy. If you order tap water, you get a small, half-full glass and are given strange looks.
