A huge flaw is that you really only have 1 1/2 hours available. This means comfortable, free sitting is not possible. Unfortunately. Always looking at the clock is uncomfortable. Even if you have an employee who is afraid of dogs, you should either ban dogs or put the employee behind the counter. We have a Corgi mix. She soon collapsed. It's no one's fault that they're afraid, but a dog owner with a dog like that is bothered by something like that. If you want to eat something quick for a while, then it's OK. As long as you get space. But absolutely not recommended for a nice evening. Unfortunately.

Dear Osteria Saarbrücken, We often order from l'Osteria but what we received last night made us sad: - Although garlic oil was ordered as an extra on my wife's pizza and mine, there was none. - The eggplant on my wife's pizza was just the edges of the eggplant and not the middle part. - I ordered extra pineapple on my daughter's Hawaiian pizza. There were 10 in total on the pizza! small pieces of pineapple. Otherwise the pizzas were ok. But if that doesn't change, I would just view the extras as a rip-off and not order anything from l'Osteria Saarbrücken anymore. Best regards, Ed

Went to L’Osteria Saarbrücken last night and unfortunately had a bad experience. Long waiting time, staff overwhelmed and poor management.

Super. And what is also important. The toilet is tip top. Don't forget that these places are business cards of every gastronomy. Update 20.24 in December. It wasn't like that before. You only have a window of about 2 hours to eat. After that you have to leave. A salad for €15 something else was similar in size to a side salad. This meant that the women, who actually wanted to eat the salad as their main course, helped themselves to the pizza from the men. You just couldn't get enough. In my opinion the prices are massively too high. And that didn't even have time to get dessert, nothing acceptable to me. But if there isn't enough time, you just have to leave. I don't understand all the good reviews, maybe the reviewers should just broaden their horizons and try other restaurants. The daughter hardly touched the risotto because it was rock hard. A pizza should have half and half toppings. But in the kitchen you probably don't know the difference between a half and a quarter. In fact, three quarters were margarita and only one quarter was topped with mushrooms. The over-the-top salad also had almost no dressing. And for two salads there were exactly three slices of bread. Underground. We probably won't visit the restaurant again.

The whole evening was great all around, you have a cool young team! I was complaining a bit because our pizzas weren't cut and even then the blonde one did The team leader who wanted to cut my pizza reacted very coolly...! We will come again.

There are quite good pizzas that barely fit on the plate. If you choose pasta, you should have eaten something beforehand. But why do the waitresses use first names to everyone? It's not tragic, but it's not my thing. Service is pretty quick, but you have to go find someone to pay.

We booked for 20 people. The big drawback here was that we didn't sit together and there was no information about it beforehand. That was really very disappointing on site. We had no opportunity to talk to the table next to us. Also, we didn't get to our table on time. We still had to wait about 10 minutes. The tables became free one after the other. While one waitress took the 10, the next didn't understand why we were still standing in the hallway. Here Hinz definitely doesn't know what Kunz is doing. The map is totally confusing and you really have to force yourself to read at a train station learning level. It's not that easy. A lady had to request the bill because her tip was unintentionally deducted €4.50. Mistakes happen. This was resolved quickly. If you change a pizza topping (exchange a product) it costs €1.75 extra. I personally found it very cheeky. But good. Unfortunately, I couldn't find this information because of the confusing map. The sanitary facilities were okay, but could be a bit cleaner for my taste. I was also missing information on the wall that you have to go down the stairs and not up. The service was super nice and fulfilled our every wish. The food itself was extremely delicious! The pizzas are huge! That's why I think the prices for the pizzas are reasonable. There is a children's card for the children, which they can color. There are also pens for this, which shorten the waiting time. There is a parking space immediately to the left behind the house. If you're lucky, it's even free.

A bad restaurant what I have seen in my life bad service bad management service comes after 15 minutes to take order normal spaghetti with shrimps. The waiter tells me it takes 25 minutes and normally the spaghetti is cooked. Takes 10 minutes. So our order comes after 50 minutes

Been there for the first and last time: When we arrived we were told that it would take longer today because there was a large order. Basically, I think it's good that there is open communication here. But then it became absurd. Drinks could have been ordered, but not food. Waitress was not allowed to accept anything. First you have to deliver 60 meals to the football stadium and there are only 4 cooks there. There was disagreement about how long this should all take. Since the table is only reserved for 90 minutes, we got up and left. Sorry, that's not possible, when the restaurant is at full capacity, accept such an order for delivery and leave the guests present standing there like that.

There were four of us and we had 2 pizzas and 2 pasta dishes. We waited quite a long time before we could order, but it was also very full, so ok... Unfortunately, the pizzas came about 15 minutes before the pasta, so we couldn't eat together. That was a shame. Unfortunately, we had a small mishap with one pasta dish: the plastic salt shaker came off the top. The food was no longer edible because of all the salt. We told the waitress and he said he had to tell the boss and she would come soon. When 20 minutes later there was still no one there, we let a young woman know again. The boss came immediately afterwards. She was very friendly and accommodating and immediately offered to have the food prepared from scratch. But then we only ordered it to take away because we had to leave. What was annoying was that unfortunately things didn't work out so well and there were long waiting times. But as I said, the woman solved it very well and kindly.

Not the usual L'Osteria standard. Our pizza order was forgotten. After about 50 minutes the pizza arrived with way too much cheese. The pumpkin soup beforehand was almost cold. I was at L’Osteria Saarbrücken this evening and I was absolutely thrilled! The service was first class, especially my waiter Mo did a fantastic job. He was incredibly friendly, attentive and made sure we felt completely comfortable. You can tell that he does his job with passion, something like that is rare! A big compliment also goes to the pizza maker Jamal. According to my waiter, he made me the pizza. The pizza was heavenly and perfectly baked, the dough was just right and the ingredients were fresh and flavorful. It was the best pizza I've eaten in a long time. Many thanks to the entire team for this great evening – I’ll definitely be back!

Das Restaurant war gegen 20Uhr sehr gut besucht. Wir haben 1 1/2std auf unser Essen warten müssen und wurden durch billige Ausreden hingehalten. Als das Essen kam, war es noch teilweise falsch. Die Bedienung war maßlos überfordert. Großartig entschuldigt wurde sich nicht. Tomate Burrata ohne weitere Teller bekamen wir zur Entschädigung auf den Tisch gestellt. (Man hätte ja vorher fragen können, ob man was Bestimmtes will) Getränke aufs Haus bekamen wir als wir schon fertig mit dem Essen waren. Zum Bezahlen mussten wir die Bedienung mehrmals auffordern. Die Pizzareste wurden in einem kleinen Karton übereinander geklappt, statt einen großen vorhandenen Karton zu nehmen. Zu allem Überfluss wurden unsere Parktickets nicht entwertet, sodass wir insgesamt über 3 Stunden dort waren. Selten einen derart schlechten Service erlebt!!!

Alles wie immer super, vor allem der Service von Slo!!! Das Essen war üppig und gut, wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Auch der Espresso danach - perfetto

Heute wegen Stau in der Stadt waren wir leider nicht pünktlich in dem Restaurant gewesen. Das haben wir auch telefonisch gemeldet. Wie wir da waren haben wir um Verständnis gebeten. Die Bedienung sagte zu mir "das ist nicht unser Problem, sie müssen Tisch bis 19.00uhr verlassen" Wir mussten ohne Essen das Restaurant verlassen. Das ist wirklich lächerlich. Das ist das letzte Mal das ich dieses Restaurant besuche.
