We had reserved a table for two. We had to wait at reception. Although there were plenty of free tables, including large ones, we were crammed into a tiny table for two between other occupied small tables. It was nearly impossible to get to the back without bumping into the neighboring tables. Naturally, we could see what our neighbors were eating and heard every word. The atmosphere was far from pleasant. The pizza was enormous, but the plate was normal size, so half the pizza was on the table. The paper placemat wasn't adequate either. It wasn't hygienic. The taste was good; the pizza was very thin and had a moderate amount of toppings, so an average eater would have no problem finishing the huge-looking pizza. The price was high: two regular pizzas, one beer, one small water, and one Lambrusco for €50. For a fast-food setting, I think that's too expensive.

Always delicious and unbeatable value for money.

Unfortunately, my visit was disappointing. The whole concept felt very regimented, almost like a mass processing operation on an assembly line. While we weren't personally informed how long we could stay, this information was clearly displayed everywhere and also written down multiple times. After an hour and a half, the table was supposed to be cleared for the next guests – I've never experienced anything like this in any other pizzeria. The pizza tasted relatively good, and the portion was adequate. However, combined with the very loud and uncomfortable atmosphere (dirty table, stains on the floor), the price-performance ratio didn't work for me. In addition, they advertise an Italian flair everywhere. That wouldn't be a problem in itself, but none of the employees spoke Italian – which isn't a big deal in itself. However, they should perhaps be a bit more reserved in their advertising of the "Italian experience" if the language spoken is limited to "Buongiorno," "Grazie," and "Arrivederci." Therefore, I can only give it two out of five stars.

Food and service as usual at L'Osteria. Restrooms currently very poor (power outage in the women's restroom, flooding in the men's, disabled toilet without toilet paper or paper towels (when the restaurant opened!).

It was very good, as always. The service was excellent; it was another wonderful year at the Osteria in Saarbrücken. It's perfect for us. Everything was great again, the service was exceptionally good, and the food was also very good.

I wanted to order bolognese, but I was told it wasn't available today because they were out of ingredients. This is an Italian restaurant. Furthermore, we had to wait over 35 minutes. Some guests who arrived after us received their food earlier, including pizzas, even though we had also ordered two pizzas.

It was a great evening. It was a tight two-hour wait for the appetizer and main course, leaving no time for dessert. The atmosphere was lovely, though a bit noisy. The food was delicious, and the service and reception staff were excellent!

We went there today for the first time in a long time. The restaurant was nearly empty. It took ages to get a table, and then another 30 minutes before we could order. The food arrived very quickly. The pizza was delicious and I can wholeheartedly recommend it. Despite the low number of customers, the two servers were completely overwhelmed. A real shame.

This time, a mixed experience. The food quality was good as always, but some dishes were lukewarm, and the service was abysmal: 3 out of 5 people only started eating after the first two had finished. The salad arrived after the main course, practically as a savory dessert. When we pointed this out to 3 servers, one ran away, and 2 just accepted it without a word. A simple "I'm sorry, I'm sorry about that" would have worked wonders – but it was fine anyway. When the place is packed, like it was between Christmas and New Year's, things can go wrong. What really matters is how I, as the host, handle it. It's a shame it turned out this way.

It was a wonderful Boxing Day at Losteria Saarbrücken with amazing food and a fantastic atmosphere. The staff was, as always, very friendly and incredibly attentive. We've eaten there several times before and are always thrilled with everything on our return visits. It's very clean and tidy, and the restaurant and its decor have a fantastic concept. The pizzas are good, the price-performance ratio is okay, although a few more spices in the tomato sauce wouldn't hurt. Since it's just a pizzeria and not a fancy restaurant, the cross-subsidization through drinks is excessive, for example, the astronomical price of almost €5 for a 0.4l Bitburger. The espresso was, as expected, lukewarm instead of hot. The service was good, and there were enough servers. All in all, it's worth a visit.

Overall, we found everything very good and enjoyable. The food was delicious, and it was clear that a lot of effort had been put in despite the large crowds due to Christmas. One small thing we personally didn't like: one pizza wasn't served with parchment paper, so it touched the table directly because it extended beyond the plate. Of course, this can happen, but it could have been noticed during service with a quick glance at the table. Overall, however, we were satisfied and would gladly come again. :)

We've been there several times; the atmosphere is great, open and spacious, the Italian dishes are tasty, the selection is large and everyone can find something, however, the pizzas are huge, so you have to have a big appetite or share.

The pizza is very thin and delicious!

There were five of us. We found the 1.5-hour time slot too short for a leisurely meal. (However, we were able to stay 30 minutes longer.) The pizzas were very large and delicious 😋 There was also a side salad available for a small price, which we appreciated. There wasn't enough time for dessert or a cappuccino. The restaurant itself was very loud, making conversation difficult. The service was very friendly and attentive. The restrooms were in the basement. Of the three women's restrooms, one was permanently locked, one was dark (this was reported to staff), and the third had no toilet paper (this was also reported). Unfortunately, these issues were not resolved during our visit. It's certainly a good place for a quick bite, but not recommended for Christmas parties (or parties in general).

I received the wrong drinks twice, and I had two different toppings on my pizza. They offer the option to top one half one way and the other another, but in the end, the whole pizza arrived mixed together with everything. The service was very friendly, but almost everything was wrong.

Hello, generally a great location, my wife's pizza was as delicious as always, my Caesar salad unfortunately had a bland taste, the bread pieces are unnecessary and the presentation a bit unimaginative.

I was appalled when I called Saarbrücken today and was told there was no meat dish, which is completely unacceptable. And that someone with lactose intolerance and a tomato allergy would have to sit in front of an empty plate at a Christmas party. Perhaps it's time to acknowledge that such people exist.

Saturday night was packed... and yet everyone remained nice and friendly 👌 The pizzas were absolutely fantastic, great teamwork in the kitchen, you have my respect 👍

We were a group of 18 and had reserved a table for 7:00 PM. We had to wait outside for 15 minutes because the table wasn't ready. It took almost an hour for the food to finally arrive. Guests at the next table arrived later and received their food even sooner. When we finally got our food and were almost finished eating, we were told we had to leave our table by 9:00 PM because the next guests were arriving then. So we had to pay quickly without ordering dessert. Three of us ordered a Pizza Bo, which consisted more of dough than toppings. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this pizzeria. It seems they don't care about customer satisfaction, only about making a quick buck.

The welcome was disastrous, I think by the manager. He turned us away like we were dirt, claiming we hadn't booked. There's a proper way to treat customers. No courtesy, no smile, no goodbye... absolutely no professionalism! Good thing we won't be back!

The orange juice we ordered was unfortunately watered down :( The pasta wasn't al dente, it was overcooked. I have great respect for the people there, but I wouldn't eat there again. The atmosphere, however, is fantastic.

Absolutely outrageous! Yesterday we ordered around 7:45 pm. The delivery arrived about two hours later. I had the pasta with pesto. It tasted good, but the portion was so tiny I was still hungry afterward. In comparison, my friend had spaghetti with tomato sauce and arugula, and he had at least twice the amount in his box. €15 too much for what little remained. And my portion was only lukewarm. They probably forgot about us and just gave us the leftovers. I'll never order from them again.

Unfortunately, the staff made me feel very uncomfortable. This restaurant is not recommended, especially for allergy sufferers and people with gluten intolerance. I suffer from gluten intolerance and a rare but life-threatening allergy. The website stated that gluten-free options were available, which I was very pleased to hear. When we arrived, we double-checked to be sure and were reassured. However, when I wanted to order a pizza, they told me they didn't have any dough and that I should order pasta. I did so, and then they said they "didn't have any pasta water." I also asked if my allergen was in the pasta. In every other restaurant I've been to, the waiters checked with the kitchen and gave me a confident and friendly answer. Here, I was presented with a comprehensive menu listing various dishes and told to look through it myself. After a few minutes, however, I realized that my dish was missing from the list. I find this approach very unacceptable. I didn't choose to be unable to eat everything and would appreciate a different approach.

I went in and said my train left in 30 minutes. The guy yesterday said, "Yeah, no problem." I said, "Hawaiian pizza." He said, "I'll order it for you right now." Ten minutes later, the server came, and he hadn't ordered anything. She said it would only take two minutes. After two minutes and without my pizza, I got up and left. I probably would have gotten the pizza eight minutes before my train departed. It's astonishing how badly I could have judged the situation. For your information: None of the cooks were doing anything at that time. And it could have been a really great layover.

This was our second visit to L’Osteria this week, and we were so impressed with the service – especially by Ms. Desislava – that we came back today with the whole family (about 15 people). Despite our large group, the food arrived at the table all at once and was fresh. Even the owner himself checked to see if everything was alright and if we needed anything. Huge respect to the kitchen for the fantastic work! Such warm, quick, and friendly service as Ms. Desislava's is rare these days and a real asset to the restaurant industry. We'll definitely be back! 💐

We were there with four people and got a table right by the door, which was incredibly drafty. There were other four-person tables available, which the staff said were reserved – which we also had. It took ages before anyone came to take our order or clear the table. Instead of a latte, we were served a coffee with milk, despite asking for it. So, overall, the service is becoming increasingly disappointing.

The staff were very friendly, but the table was far too small – how could two people possibly sit there trying to eat a pizza? Besides that, my pizza was quite oily, and there was very little barbecue sauce on it. The toppings were also poorly distributed. I've definitely experienced much better at L'Osteria in other cities!

L'Osteria is always worth a visit. The large pizzas are unique and taste absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is funky and cool. The staff are polite and helpful. The only downside is that you have to vacate your table for the next guests after a set time (usually 1.5 hours).

Last week I went to this restaurant for pizza in the evening and was very satisfied overall. The pizza was delicious – thin, crispy crust, just as you'd expect from a good Italian pizza, and generously topped. However, I have to deduct one star: The pizza was so large that it extended about 5 cm beyond the edge of the plate all around. Although paper was placed underneath to keep it off the table, it sagged and slipped under the edge of the plate, making it rather awkward to eat. My suggestion for the future: either use larger plates or make the pizzas a little smaller. Aside from that, I felt very comfortable there. It wasn't as loud as in many other restaurants, and it was easy to have a conversation. I arrived shortly after 10 p.m. and still got a fresh, delicious pizza. The pizza is gigantic and tastes great. Because the dough is so thin and the pizza is so large, it unfortunately gets cold quickly. Still delicious though. The spaghetti carbonara was superb. The tiramisu and ice cream are also highly recommended. Unfortunately, the acoustics are very loud. You can barely hear the person next to you; after that, it becomes more difficult. First time here, and certainly not the last. We had a very good meal. For the price, the portions are generous. The pizza was bigger than the plate, and my pasta dish was well-topped (and delicious). The pizza could have had a little more topping, perhaps in terms of sauce... (it was a bit dry). We were greeted and served by Fariz. He was very attentive, kind, and responsive to our requests. The restaurant is large, there's a good selection, the prices are quite reasonable, the staff is friendly, and I will definitely return, probably in the evening to see the rest of the menu.

The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The pizza is definitely worth the price. However, I wouldn't recommend the pasta and other dishes for that price. And it's best not to sit near the speakers, as they are quite loud and make it difficult to have a conversation at the table.

I haven't been there in a while, and now I remember why. That train station atmosphere just isn't for me. The high ceiling makes it too loud when there are lots of people, and the tables are far too small and crammed together. My beer arrived way too late (forgotten?), had already lost its head, and tasted stale. The waiters weren't particularly friendly; it was hard to find a nice face. The pizza there is huge, but I've definitely had better. The free parking is a plus, and the free espresso (served without a biscuit) included with the parking ticket is meant to entice customers back.

We went to L'Osteria on Trierer Straße in Saarbrücken for a girls' weekend. The service was excellent; the staff were attentive and friendly. My friends' pizzas were fantastic, as always. I'm deducting a point for my tortellini; they could have been cooked a little longer for my taste, and unfortunately, the sauce was too salty. However, I must commend the owner for asking if everything was alright when he cleared the table and for being very accommodating with my feedback on the tortellini. It wasn't a big deal for me; I wouldn't have said anything anyway. The meal was still perfectly enjoyable. We were given complimentary limoncello, which we really appreciated and thought was a lovely gesture from the owner. Our server was also incredibly cheerful and efficient. I would definitely recommend L'Osteria.

The food was tasty, but there was very little topping on the pizza, and what little there was was unevenly distributed. The service was slow and didn't come to the table, but it was very friendly. There was a lottery, a wheel of fortune where you could spin to win something. Even after asking, we weren't allowed to spin it, as no one came and the wheel was even spun away right in front of us. We ate there on the 30th of October. The restaurant was full and the staff were overwhelmed. Despite this, everyone was smiling and very patient and friendly. We particularly appreciated the waitress who served us (Alejandra), she was really great. Even though it was busy, she always made sure we had everything we needed. And not just for our table. In fact, we heard the people at the next table talking about how efficient, calm and cheerful she was, despite the rush. It's really nice to eat out when you get such a warm welcome. Thank you.

Authentic Italian Experience in Saarbrücken From the moment we arrived at the restaurant on Trierer Straße 33, the atmosphere captivated us: modern, welcoming, and with an authentic Italian touch. The pizza—thin crust, perfectly cooked, and fresh ingredients—was a great success, and the option to choose two flavors on one pizza allowed everyone to enjoy what they wanted. The service surprised us with its friendliness and speed, always attentive to making sure everything was perfect.
