The food is very good. But it's very loud inside, and while the service is friendly, they could come by more often to ask if you'd like something to drink, etc.

Top pizza spot where you get decent pizza for your money! The service is super friendly, and it's also easy to get to the train station or parking lots.

I wanted to try it. Impressive pizzas—but I had pasta. They were mediocre. Not something to celebrate.

It's great that you can share the pizza, even with different toppings.

So what is that? And what does this have to do with Italy, I had an anti pasta that was hard to enjoy, a mozzarella toilet on a Holstein ham with 2 bodies and a zucchini that was 5 weeks old. There was also a salad, I'll call it a salad, that's what it said on the menu, which was dripping with freshness. There was also a white wine that was so cold that you could hardly drink it. Any rest stop in Italy is better than this restaurant. The condition was friendly like Donald Trump, thank you no tango dinero!

The pizza was good. You need half a site plan for it, it's that big. The service was very accommodating. I only have to give a star for the ambience, as everything was very cramped and the table wasn't quite enough for two people. (At the huge pizza)

I found 60 minutes of waiting time for a (delicious) pizza and two portions of pasta to be too long.

L'Osteria can always be recommended. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The food is always good. And price/performance is top.

The waitress is so rude. She doesn't feel like working. I'm 100% sure, there are many better Italian restaurants in the city, not necessarily L'Osteria, only if you like rude, bitchy waitresses, then have fun! Also double check the invoice, what you ordered didn't come, but was on the invoice. Don't forget!

Had reserved a table for a birthday. The service was great! The waiters were extremely accommodating, super friendly! Thank you for the lovely evening. We'd love to come back.

Word with x, that was probably nothing. We ordered 2 pizzas (half/half) to pick up and were there on time to pick them up. 10 minutes later the pizzas were handed to me. The service staff at the bar all seemed very stressed and more like “What do you want here?” instead of “What can I do for you?” One slightly younger lady in particular looked like it was rainy for 7 days. The pizzas that were handed to me were wrong. Our pizzas had to be remade and we ended up waiting 30 minutes. We would have appreciated a small drink on the house for the long wait. We then asked the small, very bad-tempered lady if we could have two small Cokes and you could tell that she didn't think that was cool at all. Her colleague, on the other hand, was very accommodating and offered us something to drink, which we were very happy about. When our pizzas were ready, the lady from the bar (after getting very upset in the kitchen and constantly pointing at both of us) simply “threw the pizzas in front of us” without a word of apology for how long it had taken Waiting time or a nice “Enjoy it”. She was really pissed and let us feel it too. We couldn't explain why. We wouldn't go here again because the staff was very stressed and unfriendly. We also had the feeling that we were blamed for the pizzas being made incorrectly. A no go in the catering industry. That doesn't work at all.

I'm satisfied. The pizzas are very large, so you can easily share them - I can't complain about the taste either.

Hygiene poor and long waiting times 1. A mouse ran from the kitchen into the guest room. When the service was approached, they simply replied that they would pass it on. 2. In the kitchen, a "preparer" took two bowls from a stack and - presumably to remove residue - blew into both bowls from a short distance. A cream was then poured into both bowls, which the waiter then delivered to a table. 3. The waiting time for a standard lunch (just a pasta dish with no extras) was almost 50 minutes, which is far too long for a lunch meal.

Wine and pizza just taste great there!

Unfortunately we had an unpleasant experience with the service. At no point were we informed that the table we were seated at had been reserved in advance. What was even worse was that more than three waiters asked us to leave the table, making us feel like we were practically thrown out of the restaurant. This situation could have been avoided with clearer communication from the team. On the other hand, I have to say that the pizza was really delicious. It's a shame that the quality of the food was overshadowed by the unpleasant service experience.

Too loud, too narrow, too warm, too crowded... There are better alternatives in the city center. The service is hectic and superficial. The taste of the pizza is rock solid, as you would expect from the chain restaurant chain. But the ambience makes me no longer want to visit this location.

Relatively large branch of the losteria franchise chain. Very nice welcome, attentive service. When it's full, it gets very loud and the neighboring tables are a bit cramped. Both had a 50/50 pizza. Unfortunately, the part with shrimp on mine was a bit boring or not seasoned and because there were very few people working in the service, I couldn't change that. Otherwise cozy, well located, and a good address for a relaxed pizza meal

We love the L Osteria and visited a branch again in connection with a visit to the Christmas market in Hamburg. Great service and good food there again, just like we have experienced in other branches. We'd love to come back.

Today we had a very bad experience at L’Osteria in Gänsemarkt. The three of me, my wife and my son went out to eat. After we ordered our food, one person's food came so late that the other two of us had already finished eating before it was served. When we asked why the food was so late, the waitress said in a rude tone, "Do you want to eat or should I take it away?" If you want to eat, then eat, and if not, then bye.” Later we ordered a pasta arrabbiata for our son and specifically told the waitress that it wasn't supposed to be spicy. Nevertheless, it was deliberately prepared so spicy that it was inedible. The worst thing, however, was the disrespectful behavior of the waitress. At the end she even rudely asked for a tip. This was the worst experience we have ever had and I will probably never go there again. Such service is absolutely unacceptable.

Losteria style: very tasty, mostly quite friendly, loud. The only Italian I know where tap water is not possible with wine. Instead, eternally imported water. Otherwise nice.

The food was great but the background noise was a flop.

There are many who like L'Osteria's pizzas. They're ok but not great. Quite pulpy in the middle, dry edge; Dough is not fluffy. I was relatively disappointed. It's ok, but there are better pizzas in Hamburg that are reminiscent of the Italian original.

The pizzas at this L'Osteria are really huge - almost too big, but incredibly tasty! The dough is nice and thin and crispy. The staff is super nice and makes you feel comfortable straight away. The only small disadvantage: it can get a bit noisy, especially when the store is busy. But overall a great experience.

A large pizzeria along a branch of the Elbe in the city of Hamburg, this place is often full but the wait for an available table is reasonable. Huge pizza and pistachios available at the counter. A nice place for adults and children since, as in many restaurants in the city, a children's menu is available for a very reasonable price.

The food was delicious as usual. Unfortunately there weren't enough waiters/waitresses in the restaurant. It took a long time until we had a seat, a long time until we had a ticket, a long time until we were allowed to order and then a long time until we were allowed to pay. Food came normally. Too bad. Wasn't a great experience

I've eaten at L'Osteria many times. The pizza in particular impresses me every time. The portions are large, especially the pizzas are huge. Never been disappointed so far, recommendation goes out!

The food was delicious, made from healthy ingredients. The service staff were very friendly, attentive and responded to requests. A bit overpriced. The ambience could be made a little warmer.

Underground service: full shop, waiter constantly on his cell phone (October 14, 2024; 8:10 p.m.) We waited 15 minutes to be served. Drinks didn't come with the food. You eat, but you don't have anything to drink. Even when I asked where the drinks were, there was no immediate response. Another 5 minutes pass. The waiter with dark hair was standing at the bar on his cell phone, pouring himself a drink. Can it get any worse? Yes, our drinks are next to him at the counter but he probably doesn't care. I will complain directly to L’Osteria today about the service and this waiter. Impudence!! Never again at L'Osteria!! Food was also just ok.

We went there for dinner. The restaurant is busy and unfortunately also loud. The waitress was super friendly and gave us a nice table a little further back so we could watch the pizza makers. The spagetti carbonara and tortellini were good. The Tartufo was a good end to our visit and was delicious.

The classic restaurant chain of central Europe. Very tasty food, quite a lot of people and relatively good service considering the load on the staff due to the number of people. Large pizzas, can be made the way you want it, even half and half, delicious and well priced for what you get!

We eat at L'Osteria very often, at Opernplatz for the first time and I have to say, I think I've had the tastiest pizza there so far! Topping perfect, baked perfectly, super tasty. The waitresses are very friendly and attentive, despite the fact that it was relatively full. We will definitely eat there again next time we are in Hamburg.

The pizzas are good. Unfortunately we had to wait over 90 minutes each time for home delivery. Even after changing delivery providers. The restaurant itself is nice, but you should be prepared for a higher volume level.

Typical L'Osteria restaurant, with the usual great menu. The pizza size is legendary and also satisfying for men. If you can't manage it, you can have it packed and take it with you. Also suitable for groups. In my opinion, too big and too bright for a romantic date...

Somehow it is always comparatively loud in every restaurant in this chain. Apart from that, this visit was again a complete success. We were once again given outstanding hospitality and ate very well.

Top-notch Pizzeria. Even in a group of 9~ nobody waited long and the food was very yummy.

I’m not fluent in German, so I asked a simple question in English, literally “how long does it take to cook a pizza?”, because I was in a hurry. The waiter asked me one more time, I repeated, and then he proceeded with “Hier kein Englisch, nur Deustch“. I then explained myself in German and he has shown me and mom and free place. But I was so disappointed, that I ended up on performance across the road, hungry. I later realised that the waiter was probably an Italian, so I would have explained myself freely in Italian. Luckily I can speak a little German. But what a surprise was for me that the waiters in such a touristic place, in a heart of Hamburg, right in front of the Opera house, cannot spell a single word in English and try to shame you for not speaking German. That’s a shame.

We arrived with a large group shortly before the kitchen closed - but the service staff tried very hard to accommodate everything quickly and in a timely manner. Finally there are some vegan dishes too 💚

Good pizza. Very big, thin and crispy crust. Good toppings. Service speed varies a bit. We went with a fairly big group and split ourselves between two tables. We ordered I think 2 minutes later than the other group but waited significantly longer. Nonetheless, the place has good vibes.

Unfortunately there were far too few staff, what was there did their best and was super nice, but our drinks, for example, only came after we had finished our pizzas... the pizzas were super tasty and are highly recommended (and huge).

A delicious, very large pizza, as we know it from L'Osteria. The option to order a half and half pizza is very nice to try several varieties. Unfortunately, the staff doesn't seem to be fully prepared for the increased number of visitors due to the nearby CCH. Despite the long wait, our drinks only came after we had eaten the pizza. But the service is very accommodating and helpful.

Get the lasagne man. Just do it.

The pizzas were excellent and can rival the pizza places in Italy. Thin crust and makes the whole much more than the sum of its parts. One pizza (of 3) had the distribution of toppings a little heavy on one side. We were there on a busy night and it did get a bit loud inside.

Food was OK. Service hat leider zu lange gebraucht. I won't eat here again. The food didn't bother me, it was ok. The bread was ok

I ordered Risotto Funghi. Waiting time was very long, about 40 minutes. The risotto was not edible and the rice was not cooked through.

Pizza is typically available in Losteria in very large standard sizes... If you can only manage a small number of dominoes on your own, you should definitely share one on your first visit... Otherwise very good pizza with top ingredients from a stone oven...😋😋😋
