Eating with the birthday child. Pizzas are super delicious! Thin and huge! What's great is that you can "halve" a pizza. I couldn't decide and was able to get two toppings on one pizza. Splendid! Service was extremely attentive and friendly! Thank you very much!!! And the birthday child received a free tiramisu (very well made) with a candle ❤️ Prices more expensive than standard but definitely worth it.

Very busy place in the heart of Hamburg. The food is nice, the pizzas are huge and the staff is friendly. The atmosphere is buzzing, would definitely go back.

We were in Hamburg for a day trip and went to L' Osteria for lunch. We had reserved a table online for 3 people, when we arrived we were greeted very nicely and taken to a very quiet table. Food and drink were ordered, 1x pizza and 2x pasta, both of which came quite promptly. The taste was very good again, large pizza anyway, and a large portion of pasta, completely fair for the price. We'll definitely be guests at L'Osteria again soon.

Had the salad from the special menu. The salad creation sounded really good. Unfortunately, what was served was the opposite. A salad that was probably mushy because it had been left standing for too long. Chanterelles and princess beans were neither salted nor seasoned. Carelessly done. It's annoying that you spent money on something like that.

Five of us were there at the end of July and for the third time, each after visiting Planten and Blomen. Our meals were ok, but not so outstanding that it was worth mentioning. Yes, well - the pizzas are huge in diameter, which is quite funny. What really bothered us again was the excessive volume of the music. Conversations during the get-together were actually hardly possible. Everyone in the restaurant had to speak very loudly, which of course further increased the noise level. Pretty uncomfortable. We had the impression that they wanted to get rid of the guests as quickly as possible. And that despite the fact that there was a lot of space available at the time. We asked a service person about it. She later told us that the people in charge refused to turn down the volume because 'they weren't allowed to'. Because of this behavior on the part of the management, we do not feel welcome as guests. We gave 'Osteria' three chances. Our bad impression was repeatedly confirmed and we won't go there again.

Spacious, seating is very nice, a place made for food. Classic Italian pizza and pasta.

It's a "normal" Osteria branch - but the food is simply delicious and the pizzas are huge (which you can also have "half" toppings on and therefore easy to share with someone!) The dessert was also very, very tasty. The service was super-fast and super friendly! Always my pleasure!

We were super happy with the food and the restaurant is family friendly. There is space for strollers and high chairs. Even a spilled apple juice was easily replaced. Top! The service is child-friendly, polite and quick. However, points are deducted because a dish containing alcohol is offered on the children's menu. We almost didn't notice, just with luck. I think that's a no-go. Update: Thanks for the answer, but I have already received written confirmation that red wine is coming to Bolognese. It is easy to see that alcohol does not evaporate completely and therefore residual alcohol remains in the sauce.

Good food at fair prices. Ordering went quickly and well. Waiting time until the food was at the table was about 40 minutes. Far too long for a franchise. Then unfortunately the wrong dish was brought and we waited another 12 minutes. Staff friendly and helpful. Usually it shouldn't take that long. It wasn't overly crowded either. Still recommended for when you're hungry in between meals.

We were there with the grandchildren and the waiter was very nice and attentive to the children too. Food was delicious, we had the pizza (which felt like it was getting bigger and bigger) half/half, spaghetti carbonara and pasta with tomato sauce. The homemade lemonade with strawberry was delicious.

I ate there for the first time yesterday with my husband. And what can I say, I was very disappointed, the store was recommended to me more than once but I honestly didn't understand that. I have a high standard when it comes to Italian food, I have traveled often and I like to eat well. But I'm not a crazy critic, I'm also very happy with simple food. First of all, the positive thing is that the shop is very nicely decorated and the lady who served us was very friendly. The carpaccio, as a starter, was very tasty, good quality meat and very fresh. Unfortunately the rest wasn't so great. I had the pasta Bolognese, and that was very disappointing, it was boring, there was no salt and pepper, the taste reminded me of a ready-made sauce, it also lacked the tomato flavor, and you didn't taste any herbs either, it was a little confusing... The pizza was OK, the dough and the tomato sauce were delicious, but the salami was cut a little thick and therefore too salty, there were no fresh herbs such as basil as a garnish, the freshness was missing. The Alster water was somehow strange, like it was ready-made in the bottle, but I would have liked it differently given the price. The Lillet Wildberry was delicious, good mixing ratio. So now to the things that I didn't like at all. It was so loud that we both had a headache, and then on top of all the people, the music was even louder, we couldn't exchange a word with each other, we just sat there in silence. (We said afterwards that we had left straight away , it was just unbearable) The bathroom wasn't really clean and the sink area was completely full of paper towels, especially the floor, as the trash can was already overflowing. I won't say anything more about the hair in the sink, that should be enough. There was no soap there, both dispensers were empty, and according to my husband it looked the same for the men. Not nice.... I then got the bill after the lady cleared it, I told her that the Bolognese wasn't tasty. (I only ate 3 forkfuls, 3/4 were still on the plate). She said she was sorry. She didn't change the price, I paid full price. (I didn't pack any leftovers) The bill was 60€, which I didn't think was reasonable for what we got. Unfortunately I can make a recommendation, there are much better restaurants in Hamburg for the price range. I'm incredibly sorry.

Despite the very full restaurant, we got a table outside, the weather was great, the food was delicious, the pizza was huge, the service was friendly and competent. Inside it is typically Italian, louder and busier.

Food was good, prices were okay too. The staff was friendly, but the music inside was way too loud for my taste. You almost had to scream at each other.

I'm a really patient person and yet I was very shocked by today's experience. It was like a bad show that makes you think nothing more could go wrong. I just wanted a pasta shortly after shopping, without anything, just butter, and a herbal tea. Sounds like the easiest task. After the first request, after all the tables around me had received their food, my plate of cold noodles arrived. I asked for the noodles to be warmed up once. Almost 30 minutes later a warm pasta arrived, but without a fork. When I asked, the fork came, by now the food was lukewarm again and I ate it. I then put the plate forward and the third person took the plate with them. Yes, thanks. I asked if I could have another double espresso and the bill. Another 15 minute wait. After 10 minutes I politely asked if I could please speak to the boss. Very happy, I was told. The espresso was drunk, but the bill still hadn't arrived. Then the nice lady came, 20 minutes later, and said: “He’s coming soon.” Ehmmm, the bill quickly please, it's enough. I'm really mad and that's enough. I find it sad that you can't even do the basics. So one thing is for sure: I will pay for this torture and will not come back. About me: trained restaurant specialist with over 20 years of experience in the luxury hotel industry. So the question is appropriate: Where does the fish stink first?

Once and not again! An indescribable noise due to overcrowding and the staff! Mass processing! Tables close together. The salad had brown edges! We wanted to end the evening in a nice atmosphere, but that went completely wrong.

I had dinner there with my companion in the afternoon. The restaurant was not busy. The waitress took our order quickly and efficiently. The drinks came promptly before the meal. It was like an assembly line. I ordered a lasagne. This was a disappointment. It was poorly seasoned and I looked for béchamel sauce in vain. This poor pasta building hadn't gotten to know Italian herbs either. The only splashes of color were half a discount cherry tomato and the three basil leaves lying around on it. I can't leave my suspicion of a finished product unmentioned, even if I couldn't prove it. My companion was no less disappointed with her quinoa salad. The cheapest oil and vinegar paired with beetroot from a jar was not convincing. To our delight, we found the other half of my cherry tomato in the salad. The perfect degree of ripeness of the avocado added further joy. So it might be. We got “full” (for 1 hour) and finally got rid of our €46 and were able to leave. The environment ensures that you can only really relax when you're drunk. Why do I keep falling for chains that make you believe they can do something special?

Yesterday I went to Osteria Dammtorstraße to order a pizza to take away. It took five minutes for a male counter worker to take my order while sipping his espresso. When I didn't enter a tip in the card reader, he completely ignored me. After 25 minutes he arrived with my lukewarm pizza when I asked. In this way, tips will no longer be necessary if the service concept is almost zero. Keep your eyes open when choosing a career

Ordered via Lieferando. Delivery took 2 hours (when I would have had the house for a long time have to leave). No one in the restaurant could be reached by phone for 2 hours.

It was our first time eating here and never again. If I could, I would give 0 stars. We ordered 2 pizzas and 2 cokes and had to wait over half an hour for the food. After the food arrived, my husband and I were disappointed. The pizza was dry and inedible. There are supposed to be “chicken strips” on the pizza which we couldn’t find. The pizza was only covered with lettuce. It's cheeky to charge just under €20 for something like this.

Our hotel made a recommendation for this place. Actually everything was fine until we paid. The food was good and service was fine. We paid the Price and saw on the recieve that they added a 15% tip and we immediately asked if it was normal and they Said yes. We have been to many restaurants now in the city and none of the other restaurant have added a tip, some don’t even ask for it. So stay away from this place, they are scammers.

We were there on Saturday afternoon around 3 p.m. It wasn't completely full. The waiting time for the food (pizza) was over half an hour, no request was ever asked, the service was unfriendly, it took forever until it was cleared and the bill came. I didn't get a receipt for payment.

We must have had a bad day. We waited 50 minutes for our food, despite repeated requests from service. Even wanted to give us the bill even though we hadn't even eaten yet. However, the pasta was super tasty!

The service was good, the pizzas were great as always! Unfortunately there was a misunderstanding at first, which was unfortunately denied at first. Afterwards the pizza was baked again and everything was great! The service was also great. It's just too bad that we discovered far too late on the quickly wrapped receipt that the extra toppings had been charged twice because of their misunderstanding. Not a problem in itself, but basically stupid. Surely the next one will be better.

We arrived for dinner very late - 5 minutes before the kitchen closed - and still got a table; A number of groups were no longer so lucky after us. Unfortunately the room was very large and it was very loud, a pleasant atmosphere for eating feels different. Very friendly service and also delicious food: the pizzas in particular are recommended, the pasta was very well received by the children, but the antipasti were unfortunately not prepared enough (with love) for the price; It felt like everything was out of the package/jar. The Negroni was catastrophic; it lacked red vermouth and was served at room temperature. The bartender had probably already left that evening. Overall, a nice end to a lovely evening.

First of all: the size of the pizzas is an eye-catcher. Unfortunately that was it. The pizzas were anything but tasty. In my opinion, frozen spinach on a pizza doesn't work at all. Service was also in need of improvement, the food didn't come together (the salads came last because the pizzas were already eaten). Drink orders took too long. About the ambience: just loud, initially "just" with conversations, then also loud music. A conversation was not possible.

Ordered simple black tea. Didn't work. Far too much water for the small bag. The proportion is not right. And a cup to cover it was not forgotten either. I hate stores that can't even do the simplest thing. And how long has this shop been around and no one has complained that the tea tastes like water. I hope they change that. We just had the most unfriendly experience in this restaurant today. The “guy” ( can’t even call the service guy cause he wasn’t at all professional” ) was unable to sadisfy our needs: we just ask to split the bill. After a confrontation, he did , in a very unfriendly and rude way, but he did. For complete the frame, he just gave us our order, not even greet us or thank us , and he left without giving the bill!!! We had to wait for a lovely service girl who was able to help us instantly and apolide for the horrible service we had. The pizzas are ok, but I don’t think we will go back.

If you want to eat here, you are well advised to reserve a table in advance. It's very easy to do online and worked great for us. It was very loud in the restaurant. The overall effect is that there are as many tables as possible close together, which makes it not really comfortable. Our service was friendly and quick. At 7 p.m. the pizza of the day was no longer available. The option to order a pizza with two different toppings is absolutely great if you want to share a pizza. For people with normal or small hunger, I would recommend it. The pizzas are otherwise really big and very tasty.

Had booked a table at 6:30 p.m. This looked like a specially placed table - very uncomfortable. The noise level from the conversation of the other guests was gigantic, as the entire restaurant is one big hall!!! No coziness - normal, nice conversation was out of the question. We sat for about 2 minutes and then unanimously decided to leave. I can't say anything about service/staff or food. We definitely won't see this restaurant again!!!! An absolute disaster!!!!

L'Osteria, a concept that is implemented identically throughout Germany. Big pizzas, good taste, good service, what more could you want? The background noise is understandably a little higher due to the large number of guests, but it is obviously part of the L'Osteria feeling😉

It always tastes very good here, the pizzas are very large and really recommended. There really is pizza and pasta for every taste here. The salads are also good and fresh. The service was on point and even gave the children something to paint. thank you for the good food

The portions are very small in relation to the prices. The food was served to us cold and at different times. I used to enjoy coming here, but the quality has really declined.

The taste of the food is mediocre and the prices are too high. 5,...+€ for a normal 0.5l cola is almost outrageous. The view of the street doesn't make sitting outside fun either. It is also extremely loud which brings the whole experience down.

I had dinner there with a larger group in the evening. The food was delicious, but the service was terrible! When the waiter took our order, he was annoyed for no reason. In between clearing our table there were some comments with a very rude undertone. The crowning moment came when paying! The waiter asked us directly for a tip and made comments like “Were you so dissatisfied?” Or when a friend of mine said (actually very humorously) “I’m a student” comments came like “then you don’t have to go to a restaurant “. I have never experienced anything like it. We were all very shocked.

I had dinner here yesterday with a group of 9 people and I have to say, I have never experienced anything like it. First, unpleasant, inappropriate and unfriendly comments were made during the ordering process. At that point it was actually enough for me. Then it was time to pay. The first of the group gave a tip, which was extremely nice for the waiter's behavior. The second one didn't give a tip and even said: "Sorry, I'm a student". Keller then just said that this was often the excuse and he doubted whether that was even true. After he emphasized again that he was a student (embarrassing enough that you even have to say that again and justify yourself), the waiter then just said that you shouldn't go out to eat in a restaurant. I'm the kind of person who actually always gives tips, but if you're just unfriendly from the start and then tell a guest that he shouldn't go out to eat in a restaurant, then I won't tip anymore either. This was just outrageous from start to finish!

Today we wanted to sit outside and eat pizza after a short rain shower. We were informed that the outdoor area was closed. (There were other guests sitting outside and eating). When we asked the waitress, we were told that the boss had decided that way. Instead of letting us sit outside in 22 degrees and sunshine, they decided to forego sales! Never this L’Osteria again

Great value. I mean their pizza is just gigantic. Dunno why a couple should order two of them. Much better to have just one and share it. Staff was nice at all times. Even if you havent finish all they asked you if you wanna take the leftovers home. Nice perk to have ;)

Our experience at L'Osteria was disastrous. Despite our 4pm reservation and immediate order, we waited over an hour for our food. The staff did not respond appropriately to our questions and seemed uninterested. Only after asking several times were we informed that our order had not even been taken - an absolutely disappointing mistake on the part of the service staff. The entire situation was frustrating and the waiter was just rude and disrespectful. He had an earring on and was wearing a black top with holes.

One of the best and goto pizza places in Hamburg. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Been to several other outlets in Germany and they all have the same great quality of good.

Very hectic, very loud, very crowded, at least on a Saturday evening. There are nicer L’Osterias in terms of interior design. You can also tell that the personnel situation is tense. For a cozy meal I would look for something different. Overall, of course, great pizzas as always at L’Osteria. The salad was also great! The wine was too warm. Due to the hectic pace.

As a long-time customer of Losteria, I am deeply disappointed and shocked by my recent experience at this store. We usually bring a cake when we celebrate and it had become a tradition for us to do the same at Losteria. But this time we were treated by the manager in a way that lacked any politeness or disrespect. When we entered the store we were greeted warmly and sat down at our table. We took out the cake we had brought for the celebration and wanted to hand it to the waiter to cool, like we always do. But before we even had the chance to express our wish, we were told by the operations manager that this would not be possible. His reaction was beyond decency. Instead of politely explaining to us that bringing a cake was not allowed, he spoke to us in an extremely rude and racist manner. His words were insulting and derogatory, and they left us deeply hurt and shocked. It would mean that he didn't need our 300 euros and we could go to "our" Turk. I still don't know how to interpret this... It is outrageous that a manager would be so disrespectful to customers, regardless of the reason. Racist statements are in no way part of everyday business life and are completely unacceptable. This experience not only hurt us deeply, but also influenced our attitude towards Losteria as a whole. Losteria has lost us as a long-standing customer. However, we hope that Losteria takes care of the manager and other customers remain unaffected.

Hello, I was there with my family, we wanted to enjoy a pleasant evening and then cut a cake for the occasion. There was a misunderstanding about the cake (we had taken it with us in the past, celebrated birthdays there and it was never really a problem, although it was that evening). The operations manager discussed things in a very unpleasant and inappropriate way and really didn't treat my family well. Unfortunately, I can't say for sure whether it was because of our foreign origins. Cake was rejected and then it was fine. Later we wanted to clarify the situation and asked the operations manager to apologize and wanted to defuse the situation in a polite and friendly manner because we really like being with them. Well, the manager said he didn't care whether we ate it or not and he could forego our €200-300. Due to data protection reasons, I won't mention any names. He stomped away angrily. This behavior in front of all the other guests was very, very unpleasant and so we paid for the drinks and left the restaurant without eating. Do you think this behavior on the part of your boss is okay because you have dark hair or your nose doesn't suit him? Unfortunately a very very bad experience. Bad service. Even the waiters and bartenders were shocked by the boss's behavior. Since they don't want our 200-300€ per visit, we will not visit a L'Osteria in the future.

Food is good, service is ok, but what's wrong with your toilets? That's not possible and it's disgusting! I have never experienced such dirty, dirty / clogged (all) toilets! They stacked the used paper towels in a nice pile next to the sink and only one of the two faucets worked. I think that's also part of making sure these places are clean. I hope things are better elsewhere in the restaurant.
