L'Osteria Parsdorf in Vaterstetten

A very nice, clean location with free parking! The food was excellent (11/10) and the service was fantastic. We have rarely felt so well looked after.

The restaurant is very nicely and comfortably furnished, and the food is really good. The service was good and fast! The only thing that shocked me was the price of a wheat beer: €5.25. I can get it much cheaper in the Erding/Ebersberg district.

I'd especially like to commend the service: our waiter was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and very efficient. We felt completely at ease. We had reserved a table for Saturday lunch, which worked perfectly. We arrived early and were able to choose our own table. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We had vitello tonnato and pizza. Both were delicious. Unfortunately, the server forgot our bread for the vitello, the small plates we used to share the dishes weren't clean, and no one came by to complain. That was a bit disappointing, but it didn't spoil our visit! It would be great if the staff were a little more attentive. L'Osteria itself is quite noisy and has thin walls, as the space is open to the sky. Nevertheless, it's a nice and clean restaurant, and we would definitely come back if we're ever in Parsdorf again!

At lunchtime, they concealed their lunch menu (stating that it was only available upon request, as the boss wanted).

Simply awful, the worst pizza I've ever eaten. The corn tasted mealy, there was hardly any cheese on the pizza, just disgusting. Never again such a horrible pizza!!

Our food was placed at a different table where there were no other guests, and the staff only noticed after 10 minutes. We also ordered a second drink, which was completely forgotten. It wasn't even added to the bill.

We spontaneously decided to have dinner there this evening without a reservation and were immediately given a warm welcome. The Primitivo red wine was a hit, the goat cheese salad as a starter was amazing, and the pizza was divine. All this was accompanied by excellent and very attentive service from Daniel, who always kept an eye on all his guests and the order of the meals – fantastic!

At 9:30 pm, the candles were collected during dinner, and upon entering the restaurant, the staff immediately turned away to chat amongst themselves. I also had to get the bill at my table. So overall, the food was great, but the service was terrible.

Food good, service absolutely terrible! We've eaten at L'Osteria several times, and the food tastes and looks okay. The service, however, is abysmal. No matter when you arrive, it takes forever for the server to take your order. The food itself arrives quickly. But when it's time to pay, you wait at least 20 minutes every single time before someone comes to collect your money. I can understand if it happens once in a while. But every single time? That's unacceptable! And when you finally get to the point where you're "forced" to pay a tip for the awful service. That's outrageous! I'm happy to tip for good service, but to be asked to tip even when you bring your own tip jar is just so rude. That was our last visit, never again!

The restaurant's ambiance is really pleasant, especially the upstairs seating. The food was delicious and fresh. But Bella made our evening truly special. Incredibly attentive, incredibly kind, and accommodating. I've rarely experienced such lovely service.

On my odyssey to find a parking spot (absolutely horrendous: far too few spaces), I was verbally abused by two smokers (L'Osteria staff) who told me I couldn't park there. When I pointed out that I was fourth in line, the other three were also parked there, and it wasn't forbidden (no sign), I was just subjected to further insults. Incidentally, I had to place my order in person because, after about 15 attempts to call, the automated message automatically disconnected me after two rings. Furthermore, the online ordering service described in the message isn't available. (It seems L'Osteria simply makes enough money and doesn't need my orders.) So, I drove there and had to listen to a tirade from the extremely slurred employee with a mustache about the high volume of orders. If I understood him correctly, that was his explanation for why taking orders both online and by phone wasn't working. I had to go there in person because, after about 15 attempts, the automated message disconnected me after two rings. In any case, I then had plenty of time to observe the staff's behavior: Disgusting! Neither the kitchen staff washed their hands after their smoke break, nor did the aforementioned man with the mustache bother to sneeze into his elbow. He simply spat twice directly onto the counter where orders are taken, no hand in front of it, nothing at all, head down on the surface, and achoo. That's how pizza really tastes. And while I continued waiting, I wondered if there was a good reason I hadn't been able to place my order, and if fate was trying to protect me from it. L'Osteria – never again.

L’Osteria Pasdorf – Quick Feedback The food was really very good – both the pasta and pizza were delicious and freshly prepared. The ambiance is modern and beautifully decorated in an Italian style, which makes the visit pleasant. Unfortunately, the music was too loud, making normal conversation nearly impossible. A lower volume would be much more comfortable. The service also leaves something to be desired: A friendly greeting and farewell were lacking, and we felt a bit pressured to keep ordering again. Nevertheless, overall it was a nice visit – with a few minor improvements, it could be truly excellent!

Excellent food and a lovely atmosphere! We had lasagna, tomato soup, bruschetta, spaghetti carbonara, and a pizza that was half salami, half ham with mozzarella – all absolutely delicious. The service was friendly and attentive. I deducted one star because we had to wait about 20 minutes for a table (it was very busy, and we hadn't made a reservation). With drinks, we paid just under €82 – a very fair price.

Spacious restaurant, good service. The food is also good. The oversized pizzas (45cm) are surprisingly thin and tasty (with the option to choose two different toppings). They're not overly generous, making them perfect for sharing with family or friends.

My husband and I were delighted to be able to enjoy a quiet meal at this restaurant today. We found a table right away since it wasn't busy. However, we waited 15 minutes for anyone to take our drink orders. The server walked past our table several times but didn't seem interested. After 15 minutes, we got up and left because no one had spoken to us. I don't think he even noticed us leaving. Terrible service, we won't be coming back.
