Pizza was delicious. Service was poor. The pizza was placed directly onto the paper tray. Later, the server accused us of not accepting the pizza plates. What an idea…

First things first! You should definitely reserve a table in advance. We did, which is what we did. This meant we didn't have to wait. When we walked in, it was incredibly busy, but we were immediately seen and shown to our table. The waiters were very friendly and attentive. Even though we were sitting in the back corner, they always thought of us, and we didn't have to wait long for our drinks and food. The food was delicious, and we also really enjoyed the dry house wine! If you don't mind a lot of hustle and bustle and a bit of noise while eating, this is the place for you. We'd be happy to come back! The prices are also reasonable, we thought. Totally reasonable!

We ate there several times, or rather, wanted to. It took almost 15 minutes to get to our table before we were even noticed at the door. Unfortunately, the waiters had other things to do the whole time than come to our tables (it was a weekday and not full, it should be noted). We were also disappointed when two other tables that arrived after us were served and given drinks earlier. We watched the whole thing for 25 minutes and then left. When we asked why no one was coming, we were simply laughed at and told that we could have asked. Based on these experiences, and previous ones, we unfortunately cannot recommend this location.

Great service Shawkat, great food

I have to downgrade my 5 stars from 2 months ago. Unfortunately, because our meal was once again incredibly delicious, and the young lady who served us remained calm and very friendly despite the stress, and she apologized several times. She saved the 3 stars for service, otherwise it would have only been one. We had a reservation and were quickly assigned a table, but we had to wait almost 45 minutes before we could place our order! If we'd at least been able to order a drink, it wouldn't have been so bad. After we finally ordered, the appetizer arrived after another 20 minutes, even before the drinks, which took a while longer. The food arrived about 45 minutes after ordering, which I wouldn't normally complain about, since everything is made fresh and the restaurant was very busy. Additional drinks ordered during the meal also took another 20 minutes to arrive. Another table that was occupied after us was served before us. And later, things moved much faster at the tables next to us. We must have chosen the wrong time. We also found the large number of Lieferando and Uber Eats delivery drivers coming and going through the main entrance of the restaurant very annoying. This was even though we weren't sitting that close. It felt like we were in a pizza place that mainly delivers. We also had the feeling that our wait times were due to the delivery services, perhaps because they were given preferential treatment? We would have gladly spent a little more money there if they'd given us a chance. 🤗 To sum it up: Very tasty food. Friendly staff. But it's not recommended on Sundays at 6 p.m. 🤷‍♂️ Despite everything, we'll be happy to stop by again, but on a different day of the week and at a different time. Maybe then I can revise my rating upwards again.

Like last year, we were here for our anniversary. Very friendly service (thanks, Joeline), delicious food, and a pleasant atmosphere. We'll see you again next year at the latest <3

Long wait (3 hours) and unfriendly service, and partially burnt pizza. Once and never again.

We stopped here for dinner during a motorhome tour and were extremely satisfied. The waiters in the restaurant were also very friendly and accommodating. One of them recommended that we also visit Oldenburg on our way to our next destination, Wilhelmshaven. We did, and her advice was so good that we ended up spending the next 24 hours there. Many thanks to the unknown waiter for that.

It was a wonderful evening with top-notch service and a wonderful atmosphere. The only thing is that the delicious pasta could have been a bit more and the plate could have been smaller. The proportions weren't right, given the amount of pasta and the size of the plate.

The food was delicious, but the service was, unfortunately, truly abysmal. There were very long waits, whether arriving, ordering, or paying. It felt like you had to act like a fool to get the waiter to notice you. Friendly, yes, but that was the least they could do. I've had better visits to other L'Osteria branches. I definitely won't be going back to this one!

Great atmosphere Pizzas are huge

Our visit to L'Osteria was unfortunately a huge disappointment. We had to wait a full 90 minutes for our food. The first round of drinks arrived quickly, but it was also the only one – after that, we were completely ignored by the wait staff. When we saw that other tables that had arrived after us had already received their food, we approached a member of staff. The reaction was unfortunately very indifferent, even though we explained that we had a follow-up appointment. Since we only had two hours, we ended up having the pizzas packed up. Our complaint to the staff was also simply ignored. The ambiance was nice, but the service was abysmal. Based on this experience, I unfortunately cannot recommend this restaurant.

Takeaway soups aren't recommended—the portion size is about a shot. But the food is delicious and the staff is friendly!

The kitchen staff apparently didn't feel like it. The Aperol was poorly mixed. The food was terrible, the pizza was way too spicy, and unfortunately, there was only a child's portion of pasta. The dessert obviously came from Aldi, and the whole thing wasn't worth the money. A shame.

I ate there yesterday with four people. The food was delicious, even if it wasn't quite hot anymore. We had two waitresses. The blonde one was very friendly, even if she was a bit slow. However, the other waitress (black hair) was unfortunately rather unfriendly. There was also a pungent odor coming from her side, which didn't exactly whet our appetite. Her choice of words was also very questionable at times. Nevertheless, we would gladly come back, although we would insist on different waitresses.

The service and food were very good. We sat outside, so a few cushions on the metal chairs would have been nice.

I love Losteria. Whenever we're somewhere, we always check to see if there's a Losteria. This was the worst one so far; the location alone is impossible. Sorry, not here anymore.

That was nothing..... The staff seemed overwhelmed. Pizzas weren't cut upon request, so they returned and had them cut. The salad was ordered without dressing but with extra tomatoes and chicken breast. It was then returned again because it had dressing in it but the tomatoes and chicken breast were missing. The salad was returned upon request: with tomatoes but without chicken breast. So, the whole process started again, the salad was returned to the kitchen, and again upon request, it was finally delivered. By then, the rest of the family had finished eating. Bruschetta was mediocre, the tomatoes were very dry, there was no garlic, and the arugula was dry as hay and lacked a certain spice. All in all, a lot of money for little service.

If a salad costs over €15, it would be nice if it were filling. Maybe a piece of baguette to go with it or something. The cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The benches hadn't seen a rag in a while. Very long wait times... Service, what kind of service? We weren't asked if we wanted anything else, whether it tasted good, or if everything was okay. The pizza was lukewarm.

We arrived at 10:43 PM, and the kitchen usually closes at 10:45 PM. Nevertheless, the waiter was kind enough to take our order, thank you so much 🙏

We were regulars and enjoyed visiting l'osteria and probably won't be back. The signature starter for €23.95 has now shrunk by a third; the price is too high. Today, it started with the Coke barely carbonated, then the meager starter, the request for some bread was "forgotten," and the artichokes were "forgotten" on the pizza that followed. This isn't an isolated incident; on our previous visit, the ham was forgotten on the pizza, and there, too, the starter was very limited. Eating out like this is no fun.

As always, huge pizza! Incredibly delicious! Great staff who are truly attentive, friendly, and very competent.

Yes, food is delicious, service is happy to make you wait

It depends on your expectations. L'Osteria is a chain restaurant. It's not your "Italian on the corner." The food was as expected. The service staff was definitely good, friendly despite the rather hectic atmosphere. Overall, the visit wasn't entirely satisfactory. There were four of us and we had made a reservation. The time slot given to us was from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A few tables were still free, and we were about 10 minutes early, so we were confident we could easily get everything done in that time. Our order was taken quite quickly by the staff. Drinks came quickly, too, and then... yes, then the wait began. It was still possible to have a conversation with the person at the next table, but it wasn't so easy to have a conversation across the table, as the acoustics in this "hall" were rather suboptimal. And then the wait... Then I remembered that it was similar last time, but the place was packed. And when we noticed that our food was still taking a while, while Wolt, UberEats, and Lieferando drivers were leaving the restaurant every minute, we slowly realized our mistake. Wanting to eat at the restaurant during peak ordering time on a Sunday evening for hungry people staying at home obviously doesn't correspond with the delivery services' commitment to delivering as quickly as possible. After three rounds of drinks, during which a Merlot was sometimes mistaken for a Lambrusco, and right on time for the scheduled "table time," i.e., after about 1.5 hours at 9:00 PM (!), our food finally arrived. My friend even had more on his vegetarian pizza than expected. They also had extra salami. Complain? Wait again while everyone else was already eating? No, better not. He's not a strict vegetarian either, so it's not a big deal, but it was unpleasant. All in all, a rather mixed experience, although the rushed but friendly staff was the most positive aspect. The food lived up to the standards of "system dining," although not everything in the "system" is clearly well-developed. The wait was a real slap in the face, one could even say "cheeky." Some of the people around me felt the same way, as was evident from their dark, annoyed looks. My recommendation: Just order to take home. The food will probably arrive faster, and conversation will be easier, as it probably won't be as loud. The food is quite good, not outstanding, but sometimes that's enough. Drinks are cheaper at home, and what's a Merlot is still a Merlot. After three similar experiences, I'll definitely make a counter-suggestion in the future if friends want to go to L'Osteria with us.

The food was very good, the service nice and friendly - top notch. But: I waited over an hour for the food, while in that time, over 12-15 "to-go" meals were sent out for Uber Eats, Walts, Lieferando, etc., as well as private pickups. It's unacceptable to make local customers wait that long. Then open a separate kitchen for takeaway!!!

The reserved table was dirty and not cleared. After waiting 1.5 hours for our pizza without success, and the restaurant was almost empty, we left because, after asking how long it would take, they said it would take another 15 minutes. Apparently, pick-up pizzas are given priority, as we observed, which the waiter confirmed. We were then asked to pay for our beer, but there was no proper apology! Unfortunately, we weren't the only ones who were beyond annoyed and disappointed that evening, waiting in vain for the pizza...👎

It's obvious that management is having trouble finding good staff. We had reserved a table online for two. Once inside, we were told we could choose any table. We had chosen a table outside, which, like many others, had a "reserved" sign. A staff member immediately told us we weren't allowed to sit there, in a very unpleasant manner. Even though I tried to explain to her that we had reserved a table and that we had already been told we could choose our own table, she continued to reprimand us. Her attitude bothered us so much that we have no interest in returning to this restaurant after having our evening completely ruined. We left immediately. Too bad, the previous times were better.

Unfortunately, it wasn't a complete experience. Although there were enough staff on hand, the service seemed disorganized. Drinks were only served upon request…and only after we had already finished our meals. The food itself was of good quality and tasted great. Nevertheless, we were left with an unhappy feeling. What a shame!!!

After many years, I returned to L'Osteria. The quality is good. We had the penne arabiata and the pizza + bruschetta, both of which I recommend. The atmosphere is nice, and it's not too crowded even at lunchtime during the week. The pizzas are large, and you can choose two pizzas to share on one pizza, which is really good! The drink selection is also excellent!

You order for pickup, your order is completely forgotten, you wait an extra 20-30 minutes in the store, and then your order is handed over incomplete – and not even an apology. We waited so long and no one served us!

I walked into this restaurant and stood there to ask if I could get a table. Unfortunately, absolutely no one seemed to be interested in me. The staff walked past me several times, neither looking at me nor speaking to me. After a few awkward minutes of waiting, I realized I was obviously not welcome there. So I left – without even being offered a seat. Very disappointing! The service definitely looks different to me. I certainly won't be going here again.

I was very dissatisfied with the service and the lunch menu. Tap water is explicitly served only with this menu, and if the 0.3 liter isn't enough, they don't refill it. Instead, they provide a bottle for which you have to pay extra. Very disappointing! I won't be back, given such high regard.

The lasagna tasted okay, but unfortunately it was far too greasy. It also had stuck to the sides and bottom, which meant it tasted slightly burnt in those spots. The drink also arrived quite late. The service was okay, but not what you'd expect from other restaurants of the same level or name. After my other, very positive experience at the L'Osteria Restaurant in Osnabrück on Neumarkt, I was completely disappointed here. Although I had no expectations.

The ambiance was nice, the service lacked passion for their job, and the food tasted good, but unfortunately the pasta was only lukewarm. A sharper knife would have been nice for the pizza.

Despite being located on a main road, it's a great place to sit outside. For those with a gluten/dairy-free diet, there aren't many options, but gluten-free pasta is available. The staff was very friendly and eager to accommodate any special dietary requirements. There's an allergen list. I highly recommend the arugula dressing! It can be quite noisy inside when it's busy. It was pleasant outside!

The service was good, and so was the food. The ambiance was good, too, though it's right next to a four-lane road, so it was quite noisy. Otherwise, you're familiar with the restaurant chain and its quality. Everything was perfect :)

We wanted to eat as a family with our child at L'Osteria on Hannoversche Straße. Our son (7) simply didn't want anything other than McDonald's. We took him takeout and went to L'Osteria. We were sent away because our 7-year-old son wasn't allowed to eat anything other than his own food and wasn't allowed to eat his McDonald's food. He wasn't supposed to eat and watch while we ate and was supposed to eat outside afterward. We understand a lot. But not when it comes to children! Anywhere is fine. Not there!!! Extremely bad!

The pizza and salad were delicious, and the service was friendly. The lemonade could have been shaken well before serving, as it had already settled on the floor. Otherwise, everything was good 👌🏻

Nice meeting place for snacks and more

We were very satisfied, despite the restaurant being very busy (it was a holiday), and there was no wait for our reserved table. The ambiance and atmosphere were very pleasant. Service was absolutely satisfactory. And the food was also excellent. We'll be back.

We were there last night, on Father's Day, so it was naturally very busy. We had reserved online a few days ago but unfortunately we had to wait more than 15 minutes before we could even get into the shop. It's a real shame. The food was really highly recommended. We ordered two pizzas: 1x Gamberetti and 1/2 Chicken BBQ + 1/2 Salami. Everything about the pizzas was top-notch. Really delicious and a fantastic crispy base that tasted great even without the toppings. The selection on the menu is really big and everyone can find something to suit their taste. The prices are really reasonable for what you get. But now for something else. Since the restaurant has been open for some time, we unfortunately found the cutlery and glasses to be very worn and unfortunately not optimally clean either. I think that's a real shame and could be replaced quickly and easily. I would particularly recommend doing that with the glasses! The noise level is really very high too. You can just about hold a conversation. The personal aspect didn't bother us too much that evening. The service was really top-notch. Very friendly and attentive staff. Unfortunately, the floor was not clean. There was a lot of dirt and food scraps on the floor around the exit to the pizza corner/kitchen, which you can't get past if you want to go to the toilet. Unfortunately, this was not taken care of. However, the tables were cleaned well beforehand. The men's toilets were clean. Both the urinals and the regular toilets were clean. The sinks were also clean and there was plenty of soap that evening. Overall, we were very satisfied and would definitely go to the restaurant again.

When I entered the restaurant, I was immediately captivated by the atmosphere! The service was incredibly friendly and quick (and absolutely beautiful, too) Not to mention the food – it truly blew me away! All in all, I would definitely visit this L'Osteria location again for a lovely evening.

Actually, there weren't enough staff on duty this time. But one of the ladies in particular took an extraordinary amount of steps 😉 and served at least for two. So it was a great visit.

Our visit to this restaurant on May 25, 2025, at 4 p.m. was unfortunately very disappointing. As soon as we entered, it was extremely stuffy and uncomfortably warm inside, so we politely asked if we could sit outside. At first, we were told that there was no service outside. Shortly after, we were allowed to leave. However, communication among the staff seemed completely uncoordinated; everyone said something different, and we ultimately didn't know what to do next. After some confusion, we decided to go back inside. When we then chose a table where at least the door was open, we were rudely and rudely informed that we had "already moved ten times" and that they were no longer responsible for us. This reaction was completely inappropriate: no smile, no courtesy, just annoyed behavior. Right from the start, when we ordered, the service was very rude, and we felt like we weren't welcome as guests. Unfortunately, we get the impression that our background may have played a role, which makes the incident all the more disappointing. Service should be a given in a restaurant, but unfortunately, we not only felt mistreated here, but also personally attacked. This was definitely our first and last visit.

The pizza was okay, but it got cold quickly. The pasta dishes were ridiculously expensive, and the service was terrible. Unfortunately, I can't give the ambiance a star. It felt like a cafeteria where everyone wants to be louder than everyone else.

We've been to your restaurant several times and were and are satisfied. Therefore, there's only one minor complaint. Last time, we had to wait a very, very long time for our food. We arrived around 11:30 a.m. and got our food an hour later, and there was nothing going on at the time we ordered. Otherwise, everything was great: the food was delicious, the service was good, and the atmosphere was good, too.

Even though there were few tables, it took a long time to order something. To eat we ordered Caesar salad. Unfortunately there wasn't the typical salad with it, the waitress asked if a mixed salad would also be okay. It's funny that you run out of romaine lettuce 😕 We would have drunk a lot more if the waitress had come more often.

Food very tasty, but ordering to pick up is a disaster! Despite pre-ordering, there is often a waiting time of 30 minutes or more.

What’s impressive here is the interior design and the use of materials that make the place look modern in industrial loft style. You can come here to enjoy in comfy or fancy dress. It’s for any occasion or meet up with friends. I’d say it’s quite modified Italian cuisine. Pizza is super huge here that you can’t finish all by yourself. I like carpaccio. Beef was in good quality and lasagna was good too. Price is reasonable and staff are friendly. Lunch menu is a great deal. You can choose from a list of pizzas or pasta or salad with a choice of soft drink.

Everything was fine, reserved, arrived, ordered, 20 minutes later all 6 of us ate together. The service was nice, very friendly and on point. Her name was Kübra. We'll be back.

We reserved a table for 6... We were horribly squeezed in and almost sat at the next table. We had to wait 25 minutes after ordering for our first drinks. The second round takes 35 minutes. Food first came to the table wrong, then cold. Then the different dishes came to the table every 5 minutes. Eating together was therefore NOT possible. Salad Manzo not recommended, a few dry cold beef pieces on green leaves... Great small portion of lasagna Spaghetti overcooked Tasteless giants rag pizza, very bad to divorce. Ambiance and terribly loud Toilet at 19. 00 o'clock no more toilet paper. Conclusion., Expensive noisy store with unprofessional employees Never again, not with extra money!!!! It's a shame... It should have been a nice evening 😪

Food as expected in system catering in the usual quality! It's annoying that the points system doesn't always work in this branch, now for the second time, it probably has a system. Given the prices, ice cubes would also be desirable, but it doesn't help that the machine has been broken for weeks. By the way, it's also a shame that the head office didn't respond at all to emails when the hearts tried to add something.

The second time we waited for an hour until we could finally order food. The waiters inside were completely overwhelmed. And today we were really very disappointed with our visit. The waitress was completely overwhelmed. Slammed every drawer every door. She was very aggressive and showed all of us as guests that she couldn't handle 8 tables. We waited patiently and noticed that 2 waitresses at the counter had lost their calm. Organization is not possible at Losteria. No structure. The cellar lady completely lost track and we asked ourselves why. When we were paying we accidentally dropped the 8% tip. Actually we didn't want to give one because we didn't feel welcome. have felt. We discovered that the tip was 20 euros. I find this outrageous on the part of the restaurant. You should be able to type in tips how much you would like to give voluntarily and not the minimum Should be 8% of sales. You already pay enough for everything. No, that doesn't work. We used to be regular customers. Unfortunately that is no longer the case. Very nice shop, but have a lot of patience L’Osteria in Osnabrück on Hannover Straße is really a visually beautiful shop with a pleasant atmosphere. Some of the food tastes really good, but unfortunately there is one big drawback: the waiting times. It seems as if there is a reduction in staff here, because even for a small dish you sometimes have to wait up to two hours. That's just far too long and significantly spoils the otherwise wonderful experience. If you want to eat here, you should definitely have a lot of patience and enough time.
