L'Osteria Oldenburg in Oldenburg (Oldb)

Typical of a Saturday evening, it was packed as expected. But it didn't detract from the service or the delicious food. On the contrary, the staff tried very hard to do justice to everything and did so successfully. So if you also want to enjoy the delicious food, reserve a table well in advance. So you don't have to expect any waiting time. For those who have trouble making decisions 😅🤭 You can/may (it's specifically on the menu, as a tip) put together one of two different pizzas. As you can see in the pictures, I had ½ "Tonno" and extra pepperoni and the other ½ "Vegetariana". I can only recommend🤩

Never order there again, I ordered pizza after work and have been waiting here for 20 minutes (I'm still standing there) that needs to be organized more... unfortunately I paid, otherwise I would leave. And the lady at the checkout was very rude and unfriendly

In my opinion underrated. I think the food and service are very good. I'd love to come back again and again.

Very tasty things. I had pizza with the best dough ever. The food came quickly and the waiter was friendly.

The four of us reserved a table and it worked well. We then ordered food relatively quickly. Bruschetta as a starter and pizzas as a main course. I had to wait 50 (!) minutes alone for the bruschetta, the table next to us (6 people) came 30 minutes later than us and received the food before us! When we asked when our food would arrive, it was made clear to us that we had been forgotten. Pizza was really overly large, cold quickly and very dry. We then received a small free dessert as “compensation”. We actually wanted to order a chocolate soufflé, but the oven for it was already on display (1 1/2 hours before closing time). Conclusion for us: No recommendation and no coming back.

Ingredients missing, 2 olives on an olive pizza. Food came after an hour. Starter was forgotten. Our daughter's pasta (she wanted spaghetti) came long after our meal and then it was the wrong pasta. When asked if there was a price reduction, the manager simply said no. We will avoid this store

Delicious food. Much too crowded at peak times, as experienced now, much too loud and much too long of a wait for the food. Tables were so narrow, like in a mass processing area, that we felt uncomfortable.

Overall, very tasty food and a nice place, but the acoustics are not particularly good: it echoes a lot.

The ambience was okay but the Italian music was too loud. Barking dog, children playing, noise like a fairground. The service seems disorganized, there are waiters everywhere but no clear structure can be seen. We had to wait for food, but the neighboring tables complained and said they had waited an hour for their pizza. The food was okay, huge pizza with a dry crust, the toppings were good. Price performance is not right in my opinion.

So far only good things have been heard, we were there during the week, it was very dark, the music was extremely loud, it was impossible to have a conversation or place your order without shouting... the employee came quickly with the cards and then didn't let himself be seen at first. .. when the order finally went through!! A very tasteless lasagna came, pasta with beef fillet, this had 3 tiny pieces of meat, pizza as mentioned very dry, reminded me of a large sandwich wrap... Unfortunately, 2 of them hadn't finished their portion, they were supposed to be taken away, the employee had placed the served items from the table on top of the food to be taken away, including the cutlery across the way... he should probably be trained again!!!!!! No second visit planned!

I have always ordered here, but for some time now I have the impression that food is sold for quantity rather than quality But what I got today was just a failure I opened "Carbonare" at home and saw just pasta with a small amount of bacon Just fat pasta with bacon... And dry The pizza was supposed to be with ham, I got it with salami Plus cheese in one place... Service fine as always and here 10/10 :) But strange things are happening in the kitchen :/ Regards :)

The children's portions are very small. The music is way too loud and the lasagna portion, as you can see in the photo, is a joke. We were very disappointed.

We had booked a table but this was irrelevant. It was a Monday and there seemed to be a skeleton staff. Very pleasant, however. The pizzas were very tasty, but offputtingly huge - definitely a place for people with enormous appetites . Not somewhere for the more discerning!

Food, service all good. The pizza is top, but the pasta dishes can vary. Prices are okay. The place is quite nice but the music volume sometimes reminds you of a disco. It's okay after a certain time, but not at 6 p.m. if you want to eat and chat in peace.

It was my first time there, I had actually only heard good things, but today I was proven wrong... I was shocked when I saw how big the pizzas were and thought it was very over the top. I ordered a prosciutto crudo pizza with extra rocula. At first I was looking forward to it, but was quickly disappointed. The pizza dough was very dry, even if it is nice and thin it is possible that the dough does not have to be completely dry and I find the fact that it is a vegan dough to be a bad excuse. The tomato sauce from the pizza was very tasteless and simple, which had nothing to do with a pizza tomato sauce for me. Maybe use more spices and salt and pepper, that can help and a big portion of delicious food can also be added in 8 mm. Then you don't have to tell me that it's system gastro and that you stick to recipes, but you should still prepare your food deliciously! I realize that I ordered extra arugula, but having a whole garden of arugula on it was more than well intentioned. The bottom line for me is: if the prosciutto crudo hadn't been on it, I could have eaten a piece of cardboard. Dough dry, sauce path and pizza way too big!!! It's a shame, that was just nothing and for me it was the last time I ate there. There are still a few better pizza shops in Oldenburg.

Without a doubt, a great pizza and the other dishes have always tasted good to me as a frequent guest and "pick-up person". Today I wanted to use the online offer, but couldn't get to the website (page not accessible, response time too long). The only response to my telephone inquiry was that the offer was only available if ordered online. When we asked on site, we were told “the website works for us, it must be on your cell phone”. Good service looks different to me.

Good morning! I've eaten at L'Oisteria twice now. Right off the bat I should probably say that I'm not a huge pizza fan and they are the store's specialty. I ordered the pasta both times. They tasted pretty good the first time, but the portion was ridiculously small compared to the price. I definitely wasn't full. In addition, there was food on the floor in the restaurant itself throughout the entire stay and not being put away. The restaurant was quite full, but there still could have been time for that. The second time I ordered the pasta again (as I said, not a pizza fan and there was a lack of viable alternatives). This time it was takeout. If I previously advised against the pasta, all I can say is that eating pasta outside the home is grossly negligent. The small portion of pasta was not only not at all filling (and that should actually be the case for over €13), but also totally soggy and completely overcooked. The next time friends want to order from this place, I'll grab a package of pasta from the supermarket and slap pesto on it. It tastes better and fills me up. Disappointing!

So if you have to wait an hour for your food even though the restaurant is half empty, that's really not cool. Otherwise everything was great.

Typical L'Osteria with delicious food and drinks. Great atmosphere, great outdoor seating. Unfortunately, the service wasn't really up to scratch and something was always missing. But good 4 stars.

Very unfriendly and arrogant employees Incorrect delivery and no credit received The pizzas taste very cheap and they try to save money on all the ingredients I can only advise everyone not to eat there. There are much better pizzerias in Oldenburg.

I was at L'Osteria in Oldenburg for the first time for my grandson's 18th birthday and definitely not the last time. There were a few more people of us, young and old, and we had a great place. The little ones were able to move around without any worries and were happy to take part. Even us adults had plenty of space to get up and have a chat. The food, especially the giant pizza is very impressive, was wonderful and came surprisingly quickly and almost at the same time. We really liked the atmosphere in the old, modernly renovated post office. My grandchildren especially liked the gummy bear bags at the entrance. A wonderful place to eat well and relax at the same time. The friendly staff of course contributes to this positive atmosphere. You should park in the Schloßhöfen high-rise car park. The adjacent outdoor parking spaces have now become quite expensive. Positive, in a good mood and relaxed, I was able to devote myself to real life again.

Very satisfied overall. The pizza is very recommendable, large and tasty 😊. Small children are given a coloring surface and pencils and are kept busy for a while.

Great location with very tasty Italian food! Unfortunately it's a bit noisy when it's full, but that's what comes with such a large location. The pizzas are really uniquely large. Optionally, you can also have two halves covered differently. We always really enjoy coming.

It is incomprehensible to me that if it is company policy to bake oversized pizzas that they are not served on appropriate plates. I can't think of anything positive about it if the pizza protrudes 5 cm all around and you don't know how to cut it without causing an accident. Otherwise the pizza is delicious but the service is slow and sometimes forgets something. Long waiting time even when there is little going on. Ambience more like a train station hall.

We recently spent an evening at Losteria Pizzeria and overall it was a mixed experience. Ambiance and Atmosphere: The ambience of the Losteria is really pleasant and invites you to have a cozy family meal. The decor is rustic but friendly, which we really liked. Unfortunately, the background noise was very loud, making it difficult to have a normal conversation. This was particularly disturbing for a family dinner. Eat: The pizzas were absolutely delicious and impressively large. Each of us was happy with our selection and we thoroughly enjoyed the food. The quality and taste of the pizzas are definitely a highlight of L'osteria. Customer service: The staff was consistently friendly and attentive. It is a young team that strives to ensure guests have a pleasant stay. However, we had to wait a relatively long time for our food. Price-performance ratio: The prices are fair and absolutely reasonable considering the size of the pizzas. We felt like we got a good deal for our money. Conclusion: The Losteria Pizzeria offers a pleasant atmosphere and delicious, large pizzas at fair prices. The friendly customer service is another plus point. However, guests should be prepared for a quite loud atmosphere and possible waiting times. Overall we had a lovely evening, but there is room for improvement, particularly in terms of noise levels and speed of service.

We had lunch here and easily got a seat even without booking in advance. The drinks and food came extremely quickly. The pizzas are huge here. The portion size of my salad was also generous. I think it's a bit of a shame that a little bread isn't served with the salad, as is often the case. The prices are reasonable considering the very large portions.

Fits perfectly with Oldenburg. More appearance than reality, as has been the case for a long time in this now aloof city. And that’s what a native of Oldenburg says. Unfortunately, my partner and I were greeted there in an incredibly unfriendly way. Of course, as a couple, we don't take a larger table, we don't need to be told that. But that's probably due to today's society, as everyone thinks they can do whatever they want. After briefly studying the menu, which was written in very small letters, and no longer paying any attention to us, we decided to leave. Even that went unnoticed. And if you think we're snotty or unfriendly, I'm afraid I have to disappoint you. We have both been in the service industry for 35 years. And we know how to behave accordingly. In short, this location is history for us.

The most beautiful L'Osteria that I was able to get to know: I've already been to Langenfeld, Münster, Cologne, Dormagen, but here the concept is really cool and implemented best! And the pizza was somehow better than usual: not so dry, because I've had different experiences before. And the gnocchi are a dream... Ciao ragazzi

Typical L'Osteria, good food, lots of space and something for everyone. And barrier-free!

Ordered two pizzas and one pasta. The food was good and tasty so far, but... the portion size of the noodles was certainly good for a child, but a small starter for a full-grown person. Reordering with a salad to fill you up was a laugh. For €6.95, some lettuce, a radish, half a tomato... is that fair?! The young man who led us to the table was very nice and funny, but our waitress spoke very poor German, which made a reasonable conversation impossible. A pity!

This was our fourth time here and it's always good.

How can you forget the main ingredient on vegan pizza.

Pretty disappointing! I was there with 10 people to celebrate my birthday, the food was delicious, although not everything came at the same time, things were often forgotten, the cocktails tasted more like water than something else, service was very, very bad, empty plates or glasses were not taken away vacated, waiters only came after a long request and were very unfriendly, they even rolled their eyes when you wanted to order something, so not much was consumed and they didn't get any tips. Very sad because you want to have a nice time and the staff there just make the time unpleasant.

I've never seen worse pizza than this.

We got two large salami pizzas. We were served nicely, but there were sometimes problems with communication, or at least I had the feeling. The restaurant not only offers good food, but also a beautiful environment. Of course it is often very well filled, which means there is a certain volume, but it was absolutely bearable.

After a shopping tour with the boys, we went out for pizza, which was huge and delicious. The atmosphere is very aesthetic and the service (Lina) was very friendly and attentive. Only the puzzle on the children's card was a bit easy (M18). All in all it was a nice experience :)

Wir hatten extra einen Tisch reserviert, jedoch hat dies nicht geholfen. Wir konnten noch Getränke und Essen bestellen, dann jedoch geriet alles ins Stocken. Eins der Getränke fehlte, zweimal mussten wir darauf hinweisen, bevor es kam. Da war die Vorspeise schon lange durch. Das Hauptgericht kam gar nicht. Auch hier zwei Kellner, zweimal nachfragen, bevor sich heraus stellte, der Kellner hat gewechselt und irgendwie war dabei unsere Bestellung verloren gegangen. Sehr ärgerlich, denn wir wollten noch zu einem anderen Termin. Es kam eine lapidare Entschuldigung, aber nix weiter. Wir waren sehr enttäuscht und werden es bestimmt nicht weiter empfehlen.

L'Osteria is a great chain. It's really nice, especially if you're in the mood for pizza. Only the salami was really of poor quality. But that's the only thing.

Disrespectful, cheeky, I felt very uncomfortable. My order was wrong. I informed the waitress. When my second pizza was ready, the pizza maker personally brought it to the table. He ran to me and shouted that I should express myself more clearly... This goes to the baker with the long hair: "Is it still okay?" Who are you to talk to me like that?! Do you know how unpleasant something like that is? Everyone stared at me like I had done something bad! He constantly looked at me from the kitchen with such a cheeky look just because my order was wrong, so often that I no longer had any appetite. My goodness, if you don't feel like working, why not look for another job? Then the pizza was packed for me - who knows what you did with it?! I saw clearly that you wanted to pack it personally, even though the waitress wanted to do that. Shame on you to treat customers like that! I'm happy to give tips but you definitely haven't earned a cent. Just one piece of advice from me: FIND ANOTHER JOB!

Tasty and great service, we would love to come back, it was our first visit

I usually never write reviews but after going out to eat I just had to write something!!! Were there at the weekend and of course it was super full - unfortunately we didn't book a table... We only had to wait a short time and despite the store being full we had a great table for our date! Thanks to the nice little waiter with the long hair who seated us! Quite a charming guy! Angelika accompanied us brilliantly throughout the evening at the table! I once worked as a waiter myself, but I've never come across a piece of gold like this. Despite a super stressful evening for the service, she always took time for a little joke and was also able to answer all of my companion's questions about the menu. Super attentive and really great waitress!! The service really is a 12 out of 10! Really great!!! We would love to come back and hope that you work again Angelika!! <3

A special type of pizza, visually very appealing, but often just a little too bulky for me.

Nicely decorated restaurant. There are comfortable armchairs if you're just there for a drink. Round seating areas for groups and tables for 2 to 10 guests. Tip: If several people in your group want to eat one of the wheel-sized pizzas, take one of the long tables. I had the lasagne, a large shandy and 1 glass of the Piccolo Duetto offer (tiramisu). Both dishes tasted very good. I paid just over €20 for it. A more than fair price. The music was just a little too loud for me. Since the audience is on average younger than me, it's probably appropriate.

The food was really cold and not tasty , the waiter was very mean and rude unfortunately. I ordered lemonade and he brought an orange juice and a cup with a slice of orange in it and ask him to exchange it and he literally took the orange slice from the cup and brought it back!!! Unfortunately, this restaurant was one of my favorite and I don’t think that anymore

A very nice and beautiful place to have a bite to eat. Very nicely decorated, and very busy! I recommend booking in advance. The service all took a little longer, but the food was very good. Large portions for a great price.

In general, I like going to L'Osteria, although I have repeatedly had rather disappointing experiences in OL. The waiting time was usually very long - even outside of peak times. Unfortunately, the service seems rather uncoordinated, especially in the outdoor area. When I asked when I was clearing up whether everything had been ok, I replied that the pizza was generally good but unfortunately it was burnt in too many places. Instead, I was told straight away that I had to say something like that beforehand. However, this “playing the ball back” makes it far too easy for yourself here, because ultimately the kitchen and service decided to give out the pizza like this and after you as a guest have already waited an hour, you are simply happy to have anything on your plate have.

The food was great, but we ordered at the same time as two other tables with two people each. The two neighbors ate all of their food and we didn't receive our food. But instead of the waiter saying something or selling you a second drink (I would have really wanted a beer) you are simply ignored. Service was absolutely subpar, food was pretty good. Hopefully 100% of the tip goes into the kitchen, because the people who work there at least deserve it.

Good day I was stunned at the stunning service. I have to call the employee named Ricky Praise in the highest tone. He was there immediately. Every need was met for us and even managed to make me and my wife laugh several times. I would like to see service like this in every restaurant. I specifically asked for his name and even offered him a job. (He politely declined this.). He has lived up to the name L’Osteria

We haven't had this bad in a long time.

Unfortunately, our anticipation of a lovely evening with delicious food was taken away from us here. Arrived at 6:30 p.m. (without reservation) and got a table outside. So far so good. Drinks were then picked up and served quite quickly. We actually wanted to order the food along with the drinks, but the service left faster than we could say anything. Half an hour later we were told that there were personnel problems and that everything would now go faster. Our food came almost 15 minutes later - another disappointment. The food was cold. And not just superficially but the entire portion. Service was again hardly present and when you ask if everything is OK you can wait a long time. They then commented that the food was cold from the start, so they just said that there was nothing they could do about it now because some time had already passed. The taste of the food was also rather poor. Another colleague came shortly afterwards and asked curtly why we were complaining. It would be normal if you sat outside that it was cold. At the end of the song there was neither an apology nor an appropriate tone, at least the pasta was taken off the bill. This visit was not at all satisfactory.

A restaurant full of contrasts. On the one hand, very attentive service, but very inflexible when ordering. The 45 cm pizza!!! It's not available as a half portion. Who will eat this? Even half a portion for two is a challenge and has little to do with enjoyment. Here, good food is equated with quantity and unfortunately not with quality. What goes back could feed many hungry people. Our impression: Little regard and respect for food. That's a shame and doesn't fit. Mass instead of class - not again for us.

Please be sure to eat the pizza completely, otherwise the rest will be packaged so “lovingly”. By the way, that was half a pizza! Then a case for the trash can. Unfortunately there was no response to my message!

*0 stars and no recommendation* Noisy (especially on weekends) and unfriendly service. We didn't get what was ordered. The pizza with two different toppings was shared and did not correspond to the order. Very rude response when asked. Very garlic-heavy, even though garlic wasn't listed among the ingredients. Drinks came quickly, it took us about 40 minutes to get the pizza. waited. Tips were required, but we didn't get good service.

We were there on a Friday evening without a reservation. Very great service who assigned us a table. We chose pizza and risotto from the menu. The pizza was great. Very thin base, deliciously topped with fresh ingredients. Tasted better than expected. Unfortunately the risotto was a failure. Unfortunately it doesn't taste good at all. Maybe our expectations were too high. We'll definitely come back for pizza. The ambience is great and the service was really great.

I ordered food via the website, so I wasn't in the restaurant itself and therefore can't rate the ambience and service. However, the delivery person was very nice and the food was delivered in the specified time. Unfortunately, the pizzas were already quite cold and in the case of the Caprese pizza the mozzarella was only raw on top and not melted. We also ordered pizza rolls filled with cheese with the pizzas, which were even warm and really tasty, until one piece simply had tuna (!!!) on it. I completely lost my appetite and unfortunately the rest of it ends up in the trash. Really disappointing. 😟

The ambience appears rustic and cozy. The service is excellent. The pizzas are amazing in terms of taste and price. First of all - we really like visiting the group's restaurants and appreciate the concept - fanboys, so to speak. Nevertheless, there are such and such restaurants. We definitely had the best experience here so far. 🌟 1. Ambiance and cleanliness: The concept is convincing. Light and furniture are good. The cleanliness of the toilets not only speaks for sensible guests but also for solid basic cleanliness. The kitchen 👨🏻‍🍳 doesn't contribute unpleasantly to the "lovely buzz" (others lack a subtle separation or the kitchen team is somewhat hearing impaired - everything was great in Oldenburg) 2. Food and drinks All standards were met - the orders 🍕 and 🍷 were at the table extremely quickly and there were no free tables left. This is a feat of strength and yet does not compromise the quality. My only wish is still for the HQ: garlic oil in a bottle! 👻 3. Team and service: This is where L'Osteria Oldenburg has comfortably left its competitors behind. 😌 While in most branches the team tends to emulate the FC Bayern 2nd team (how they all feel horny and use their tips to tattoo uniform sleeves under the fake AP), we had a really great experience here. Of course I have no problem with tattoos, long fingernails 💅🏻 or tip lips bursting with filler 👄, with the FCB ⚽️ more so, but unfortunately many L'Osteria team members are very concerned about a few individual (attractive/lucrative) ones in the prime of their fertility. Guests are concerned or just about themselves. The boys and girls were on their toes here in Oldenburg - the focus was more on the guests than on the like count on the last story - which must be gigantic - cool people here! 👍🏻 Despite the division of labor, EVERYONE felt responsible - for example, when my mother-in-law sometimes asked the food runner for something. All wishes were positively accepted and implemented. Greetings and thanks to Angy and the team, also the gods in white ;) In summary: In this restaurant, a few Franshise takers might philosophize about the introduction of garlic oil and, by the way, cut off a piece or two. We'll be back, with our strange vouchers and a bag full of expectations, knowing we won't be disappointed here! L'Osteria can be so cool.

We waited 50 minutes for our pizzas on a Sunday evening (5:45 p.m.) with low/medium occupancy. Mine was charred black in places and the edge was completely dried out. Our waitress was very unfriendly, didn't ask for more drinks and also forgot the rocket we ordered. We then contacted another waitress who was very friendly! Thanks to the red-haired waitress!

The atmosphere is ambivalent: the decor is attractive, but the music is uncomfortably loud. The staff seemed overwhelmed, which resulted in our order being neglected for the first half hour. It was only accepted upon request. When the drinks were brought we found the communication to be too loud and inappropriate. Another waitress was friendly and helpful, but my food was forgotten and only served after I asked again. The quality of the food was disappointing. A salad was supposed to be easy to prepare, but the vegan chicken was raw and inedible. No questions were asked about our taste and no apology was offered. This experience was disappointing and definitely the last time we will eat there.

Food quite boring. The furnishings are very nice, but the music creates a rather negative atmosphere. Main problem was the service, very rude and passive aggressive with little respect. There were many rather inexperienced waiters/waitresses present, and they were all more likeable than their superiors.

Chic restaurant, huge delicious pizza, top service

I liked the pizza at L'Osteria. The pizzas are very large and thin. It is a good idea to be able to cover each half differently. You rarely have the opportunity to eat a Hawaiian pizza with fresh pineapple. There is a slight deduction because the plates are unnecessarily small and, in relation to this, the pizzas protrude unnecessarily far beyond them, so that some of them bend. What is supposed to reinforce the effect of a large portion ends up making you feel uncomfortable towards your colleagues because the pizza cannot be cut and eaten properly. While I was told on the phone when making the reservation, "You should be on time, we'll keep the table free from 6:30 p.m." (8 p.m. appointment), we were put off for 10 minutes because the table was apparently still occupied. Not bad, but contradictory.

Large shop with a large selection of dishes, many of which can also be prepared vegan. However, you should keep in mind that if you order a pizza with vegan cheese INSTEAD of animal cheese, you'll pay a lot more for it - €3 for "extra cheese", so even the cheap pizzas cost around €18. If you put together a pizza yourself, the vegan cheese only costs €1 and you end up cheaper. In addition, the music is often really loud, which I personally find rather unpleasant.

We were in the restaurant on a Tuesday evening. A nice young man, I think his name was Ricki, served us that evening. The service in general was good. The drinks came relatively quickly and we also got our special request (toasted bread) with the caprese. Our pasta was very tasty and well seasoned. In general we found the atmosphere in the team to be fun. Only the music was a bit too loud for our eyes or should I say ears. Price/performance is top. We will be back.

The food was really tasty. You had to look for the toppings (ham, pineapple, salami etc.) and then you found them. It could have been a little more, but otherwise the food was really good. The noise in the store is just horrible! It's simply not possible to get together and talk a bit. For dessert you need headache tablets.

15 minutes waiting time in the lounge, guests who arrived after us got their table earlier, which was probably ours because there was no table left for us. We had reserved a table, but apparently we weren't interested. So we got a table that was completely out of the way. Not a nice feeling. The drinks we ordered came relatively quickly, the food order was forgotten to be taken to the kitchen or was probably booked too late. The service employee also apologized and wanted to invite us for coffee after dinner. Unfortunately, no one came by to clear away the mess. We then went to the waiter and ordered coffee. The coffee came, but it still wasn't cleared away. This happened another 15 minutes later. To pay we had to look for a waiter for several minutes. Unfortunately this time it wasn't a good experience. A pity.
