The food was great, there was a small deduction in the service because a dish was forgotten, but everyone was very friendly and accommodating, and the ambience was also pleasing.

We ordered pizzas to take away, they sat on the counter at the back for 20 minutes without anyone having the idea to give them to us.

The waiter who now on May 1st, 2025 at 3:25 p.m.... Please find another job. Making guests wait 30 minutes after repeatedly asking if they can order just doesn't let you enjoy the food.

I gave L'Osteria another chance and unfortunately I was disappointed. The pizza rolls were charred on the outside and undercooked on the inside. Unfortunately, a pizza with a thin base quickly becomes dry, as was the case in this case. And the service is unfortunately not very attentive, at least they could be friendly.

If the feedback to my criticism hadn't been standardized, I would have come back. But after such an unpleasant waiter and after a run-of-the-mill reaction to my criticism: No, thank you. I had spaghetti in cognac tomato sugo. Overall, the food is solid, although the cognac tomato sugo in the Am Fischmarkt branch is much more finely tuned, a small taste explosion. This subtlety was missing here. The waitress was super friendly and very attentive, even though the place was very busy. The waiters were also friendly, except for one: one waiter took my order with downright reluctance. He was very curt. When he did get his teeth set, it was only with contempt in his tone and face. He simply didn't feel like it. The response to my criticism and that of others seems very standardized to me. I also don't have the impression that management wants to change anything in terms of personnel policy or quality. I would appreciate it if the management actually checked and tasted the quality of the service staff and the food that was ordered and criticized here. The poor service may also have something to do with fair pay.

Bad service, we waited over half an hour for a simple pasta dish. Loud, inappropriate Italian music that is just annoying instead of relaxing. Last but not least, the waitress added an espresso (incorrectly) to the bill, which we never ordered and never received. We paid the bill and didn't notice the waitress' faux pas until later. I think something like this shouldn't happen in a good restaurant.

L'Osteria is simply part of the program! I've eaten here several times and I'm never disappointed. The service is always nice and the food is delicious. It's a bit more expensive, but you get a lot for your money. The restaurant is very loud when it gets busy, so try not to come at prime time! :)

I’ve visited this place many times. The pizzas are very good, can’t complain. They are big and are special because of that. If I was just rating pizzas I would give this restaurant a higher rating. The worst thing about this place is the staff. While there are a few exceptions, most of the waiters are inattentive, forget what you ordered, and seem to be in a constant bad mood. You get the feeling that you’re bothering them if you want to order something. When you try to get their attention, they even avoid eye contact—looking at the ground or moving chairs around just to seem busy. The way the tables are cleaned after a guest leaves is by pushing all the crumbs onto the floor, so the floor ends up very dirty, with old crumbs everywhere. Even when they take your pizzas away, they purposely lift the pizza paper so the crumbs fall beside you onto the floor. All in all, the service is some of the worst I’ve experienced. Not to mention, they get visibly annoyed when, after all of this, you press “no tip” when paying. Honestly, what part of that service was tip-worthy?

Full marks. Full shop, but still very nice and friendly service. Food came and was delicious! We'll be back!

Absolutely recommended! Good, trained staff (especially the ladies) only the pizza was sometimes burnt. Otherwise very tasty! Sitting outside is also possible. The parking situation is a bit difficult, better to come by bike or on foot/public transport.

We had reserved a table for two people and then got a table between the outside wall and a pillar, so we were a bit squeezed in. There was no light at our place because the lighting was broken. After us, a few guests came in pairs without reservations and were seated at larger tables. After we placed our order, our appetizer arrived before the drinks! The pizzas are okay, but I wouldn't order any there again. In order to pay the bill we had to remind ourselves three times, either it was the place behind the pillar or the waiter was inattentive. Our conclusion is that we were there but wouldn't eat there again, but it's just a personal experience.

It was great 10 years ago! Whether pizza or lasagna, both now taste like they came from the freezer. Unfortunately, the place is as loud as a disco, so you have to shout at each other when you have a conversation. I think it's a shame because it used to be one of my favorite restaurants. Fewer seats to reduce the noise level would be recommended. In my opinion, everything can be €5 more expensive if the quality of the food improves again. Small plus point: waiters and waiting times are exemplary.

The food was ok and the service was very good. However, there are two negative things to note: * The table reserved for a wheelchair user, among others, was not free, so we sat at a different table. It was right on the aisle and we sat so close together. * The description correctly states that access is barrier-free. However, the toilet is located in the basement and cannot be reached with a wheelchair.

I have been working in Winterhude for over 16 years, so the lunch menu was often used. You can also go there in the evening with friends, and we recommend making a reservation

Although it was tasty and we didn't have to wait long, it wasn't very special. The pizza was “lovelessly” topped and the salad was drowned in dressing. The service tried hard to keep up. The noise level when the restaurant is almost full is very tiring and conversations across the table are hardly possible. But price-performance fits.

We visited on a Wednesday evening in January, with a reservation and an announced occasion (birthday). We were seated in the still almost empty restaurant directly at the table opposite the open kitchen, in the middle of the only two other occupied tables. Our request as to whether we could move to a slightly nicer free table by the window was rejected because these were also "already reserved". The pizza was ok, huge and the option to order two different halves is also good. Unfortunately, after the food came, the service stopped. The service staff either stood at the bar on their cell phones or stayed in the kitchen. As the shop slowly filled up, there seemed to be a hustle and bustle and the "head waiter" loudly ordered his team through the program. We would definitely have ordered more drinks, but it wasn't until 40 minutes after we had finished eating that we were even asked if everything was OK with the pizzas (the place was half full at best). The bill took another 20 minutes and 3 requests. We often come here at later times on weekends, so hopefully this was just a bad day and an exception. The requested “desired table” by the window remained unoccupied until we left.

Such delicious food (tried pasta and pizza) at fair prices and short waiting times. Very committed, friendly and helpful staff, even in the very hectic evening times. Keep it up!

The food was very tasty and the lady who served me was very polite and accommodating. And the in-house lemonade is simply delicious.

In the corner where we were sitting there was a little mouse that was busy climbing on pipes or maybe it was decorative elements, on the wall and on top of the cupboard. She was also very fascinated by the understructure of the counter, where she walked around between people who were eating. We pointed out the mouse to the waiter. He then said very calmly that the problem was known, that there were more of them, that the store couldn't do anything about it and that the other restaurants had the same problem. Unfortunately for us it was a bit disturbing and we definitely won't be coming back.

Hello everyone, Once again we had a very good meal here. The pizzas are excellent. The service specialists have a very good eye and are very exemplary. In order to do better next time when eating (by the way, the pizza also tastes cold 😆): Warm plates are absolutely necessary in order to enjoy eating for a long time. The cutlery needs to be sharpened regularly, I had sore muscles after eating. I hope the team on site will now take care of these little things.

Recommended for anyone who wants to eat huge pizzas (pre-cut) and decent pasta in a relaxed atmosphere in a large, clean dining room! The price-enjoyment ratio is suitable for Winterhude, but of course it cannot be compared with a real Italian restaurant and a family atmosphere! Service is really friendly, although extremely demanding due to the usually very large crowds! Child & dog friendly! When the sun is shining, there are also outdoor spaces right on the Winterhude market square.

Today, February 9, 2025, the homemade pizza was thin as before, and the amount of toppings was manageable. Seven mini shrimps on the pizza, but lots of fatty cheese. It was similar with the Pizza Tonno. But the price-performance ratio is still okay. The service is quick and the food is served quickly.

My Pizza Tonno was again very large, and unfortunately the plate was too small. Maybe you'll have a better solution in the future, because pizza is so difficult to cut. Alternatively, share already. The pizza was thin and extremely tasty.

The aglio olio was so plain, it was just cooked spaghetti, which is so disappointing for over 12€. We couldn’t taste even a hint of garlic and we were charged 2€ for cheese that we ordered but never received.
