The food is very good, but the service is a bit inattentive. Keep in mind that the portions are HUGE. A portion of pasta or pizza can feed not just two, but three people perfectly. They ask for a tip afterward.

The place is very nice, staff is really friendly, Karina was incredibly sweet. I can definitely recommend.

This was our first time eating pizza at this location in Frankfurt. The pizza was truly amazing, delicious, and freshly prepared. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing. The team behind the counter was arguing loudly instead of taking such discussions elsewhere. Experiencing that in front of customers is a real no-go. We were glad when we finished our meals. Hopefully, the team's attitude will improve, because the food actually tasted really good.

We were in Frankfurt for the first time, after a walk we decided to visit this pizzeria. In general, the atmosphere is good, the pizza is delicious, but unfortunately the last one was burnt. Recommendation to visitors, when you order half a pizza, know that you will pay not for one, but for two. And it will be calculated at a more expensive price. We ordered half, and paid for the cost of a whole. And unfortunately, the amount turned out to be much more expensive. Such nuances should be written, or at least told by the waiter. Because it turns out that it is not entirely honest when a person expects one price, and it turns out to be twice as expensive. And it is interesting that the waiter did not even apologize, although it is his job to inform visitors when ordering.

The food, service, and waitress service were first-class. We were celebrating a birthday, and no expense was spared on service.

I've been to many Losterias, but this was by far the worst I've been to. Very long wait times even though the place wasn't even half full. Food was served cold, ingredients were missing from the pizza, and it was really chaotic in there.

Although we enjoy eating at Osteria in Frankfurt regularly, yesterday we were relegated to a table by the wall with two people. The friendly waiter, who initially accommodated our request that we not sit so cramped against the wall, gave us a table that actually had four seats, but made sense given the very large pizzas, as the tables along the wall here were very small and uncomfortable. However, his colleague didn't seem to like the seating assignment, so he asked us to sit at the smaller table, whereupon we left the restaurant and went next door to Bona'me. There were enough seats in the restaurant. It's outrageous that I, as a paying customer, had to be relegated to a side table, especially since the restaurant wasn't crowded and we didn't bother anyone at our table, except for the waiter, who tried to move us to another table. It's a shame that they treat customers who eat there regularly like this.

We came here for dinner. The pizzas were good, but we were very disappointed with the service. Unmotivated and lackluster - unfortunately, we didn't get a second round of drinks.

Service wasn't very smooth. Apparently, they were having an off day. We were quickly served our orders. Our drinks didn't arrive until we'd almost finished our food. A shame.

I've come several times, and the service gets slower and slower each time, even when the restaurant is empty! Last time, we waited 30 minutes for our drinks. That's unacceptable... Plus, the tables next to them aren't properly clean.

I ordered three pizzas (order no. CC16). Unfortunately, the pickup process was quite disappointing. Although two employees were present and clearly not stressed, my order wasn't handed to me right away. They apparently didn't dare open the drawer to hand me the pizzas. I had to wait unnecessarily, even though my order had been ready long ago. Additionally, one of the pizzas—the Gamberetti pizza—was partially burnt. I wonder if this is standard practice or if it was simply poorly prepared?

We arrived around 9:15 pm and were warmly welcomed. The cocktails were good and relatively reasonably priced for a big city. The food was delicious; perhaps a shame not to offer real carbonara in an Italian restaurant, but it was still very good. The service was fast and pleasant. The two waitresses were very busy and rushed around, but they were always available and smiling.

Disappointing. I RESEARCHED a lot for any “top rated” cuisine here in Frankfurt and this the one I chose this evening. At first, no one greeted us for almost 5 minutes. ITS SO IMPORTANT to acknowledge guests! (You don’t want people walking away feeling ignored). The layout of resurtant was bad, they had a front patio, inside dining, then a massive patio area in the back, way to hectic and crazy and overwhelming for a “fancy dinner spot”. Me and 3 other parties of people were escorted to the back patio, at first I was almost seated in a small corner right next to a large party who had a dog on the floor that was under the table they tried seating me at. I asked to move which the host did. I got seated next to the other groups that followed the host. No one took any of our orders for close to 10 minutes. I ordered a small Bruschetta, and I received a full order, they were kind enough to let me keep it and charge me for the small, but still if they were more efficient and organized it would have never happened, they wouldn’t have lost product and profit. Next, the lasagne was the ONLY REASON why I came. The pictures advertised looked nice. When I received it, it was stone cold on the bottom. IT WAS NOT FRESH AND WAS NOT COOKED TO ORDER. I could tell they premade this, took it out of refrigerator, put it in bake dish, poured sauce and cheese and baked for a few minutes. Horrible and not authentic for the type of establishment they are trying to represent. Only enjoyable thing was the beer, and my secluded seating. Not very attentive staff yet I still left a tip because of the bruschetta and efforts. DONT COME, this literally a “fancy pizza shop”

This Italian restaurant is located in the Bank area. You can choose to sit either indoors or in the courtyard — the space is quite large. My friends and I sat in the inner courtyard, which was quiet and perfect for enjoying the fresh air. We ordered the lasagna and the beef risotto — both were delicious and very generous in portion. The service was also excellent; the staff were friendly, patient, and welcoming. Highly recommended!

We've ordered pizza from here several times via Uber Eats and have been very satisfied every time. Of course, depending on the distance, a pizza with such a thin crust arrives a little colder. But it still tastes good and is filling! Today we tried the salad – it was delicious! The dressing was perfect (separate, prevents the salad from getting soggy) and the ingredients were fresh. The salad accompaniment – ​​the bread – was amazing! Fluffy, with a good crust and flavor. We'll definitely order it again next time. Thanks for the consistently good and delicious experience!

I’m biased I just love losteria. The dough is perfect and the pizza is just delicious - no matter where I went yet. The service in junghofstrasse is good as they’re always very kind. I regularly went to this place and highly recommend it. (Also celebrated my birthday there, since they have a beautiful event room with blossoms and roses.

Disappointing I was at L'Osteria in Frankfurt on a quiet Sunday evening around 8:30 p.m., looking to end the day in a relaxed manner. According to the website, the restaurant is open until 11 p.m. – so I was a bit surprised when I was informed around 9 p.m. that they were no longer serving pasta and only had pizza or salad to choose from. Unfortunately, I wasn't informed of this restriction either when I was seated or when ordering drinks. I would have liked to have been informed so I could have made my choice accordingly. Especially at a restaurant that advertises extensive Italian cuisine, I wouldn't have expected parts of the menu to be unavailable at this time of night. When I brought this up, I unfortunately had the impression that my comment wasn't really taken seriously – the tone was more curt than sympathetic. I found that a shame, because the ambiance and concept fundamentally have a lot of potential. I hope this feedback will be seen as a suggestion – perhaps it was simply an unfortunate evening. For me personally, it was still rather disappointing.

L'Osteria in Frankfurt city center is located toward Goethestraße. The ambiance is very chic. The service is very friendly and attentive. The bruschetta was good, and the salad was fresh and tasty. The pizzas were okay. Unfortunately, they lacked seasoning. The tomato sauce was slightly sweet, but overall, everything was fine.

Our daughter celebrated her 16th birthday with her friends today at L'Osteria Junghofstraße. The girls absolutely loved it. The food was delicious, and the service was super attentive! The reserved table was spontaneously moved outside at our request. After the server asked what the celebration was for, we were treated to a free tiramisu with a candle. Not to be taken for granted, so thank you for that.

If you didn't know this was part of a chain, you might mistake it for a family-run Italian restaurant, given the friendly and welcoming service. The ambiance creates a good mix of cozy and stylish, fitting perfectly into its surroundings. It's located in the heart of the banking and high-rise district, across from two large law firms. And in summer, you can sit outside in the shady courtyard. The pizzas are huge, with super-thin crusts and finely balanced toppings; they practically overlap the plates (hence the photo with my hand, for size comparison). In addition to the standard options, you can order additional toppings for a small fee. The carpaccio was wafer-thin slices of high-quality meat; you have to dress it yourself, but balsamic vinegar, olive and chili oil, as well as salt and pepper, are provided at each table. The Saliera and the Oliera are at the table—that's just how it is in Italy. Don't forget: The kitchen is right in the middle and open to view, so you can watch the pizza being made. The drinks menu is very basic, nothing outstanding: Limoncello Spritz, a few standard Italian wines, and draft beer. It's just a shame they don't have Äppelwoi on the menu in Frankfurt. But whatever. :-)

Dear L'Osteria team, on Saturday, May 3, 2025, around 2:40 p.m., we visited your branch in downtown Frankfurt. At first we took a seat outside, but after just a few minutes it became uncomfortably windy and cool. We therefore politely asked to be moved to one of the free tables inside. Unfortunately, despite there being visible free places, we were denied this request - even after we asked again. This lack of flexibility was disappointing and marred our visit. Nevertheless, we would like to emphasize that the pizza was, as usual, excellent – ​​a real highlight in terms of taste. The quality of the food met our expectations and deserves praise. I've been to L'Osteria on Junghofstrasse several times - and it's a hit every time. The pizzas are delicious and the pasta is also great. The atmosphere is relaxed and lively, just right for an evening with friends/family or after work. The service is friendly, fast and cheerful - even when it's busy.

Quattro formaggi is a BIANCO pizza which should NOT be on tomato basis BY DEFAULT!!! Once you understand that, I'll change the rating to 5 because otherwise it's a really nice place 😃
