We were a large group (around 25 people) and had a separate room adjacent to the main dining area (nicely decorated). Moritz, the server, was very attentive, ensuring drinks were served promptly and empty glasses were quickly refilled. Considering the size of the group, the food arrived quickly and was very good. Unfortunately, two latecomers had to wait a long time for their meals (by which time everyone else was almost finished), but Moritz handled this professionally and accommodatingly by offering them a complimentary dessert. He was equally accommodating when an espresso arrived late. And that's what it's all about: things don't always have to be perfect; the important thing is how you deal with mistakes. It was a lovely and relaxed evening with many friends, thanks in no small part to the excellent service – thank you, Moritz! :)

Our visit to L’Osteria in Frankfurt was unfortunately disappointing. The location itself is very nice and the atmosphere pleasant; there's nothing to complain about there. However, we had to wait about an hour for our food. During this time, hardly any of the staff came to our table, so we tried several times to get their attention. The service seemed very inattentive and completely overwhelmed. The food tasted okay, but nothing special – rather average overall. The salad had apparently been sitting out for a while, so the shrimp were ice cold. Due to the long wait and the extremely poor service, the overall impression was unfortunately negative. It's a shame, because the location actually has a lot of potential.

Unfortunately, pizzas were a bit burnt this time. Otherwise we really enjoy coming here because of the great pizzas and the ambience. But this time the service was subpar. We waited forever for dessert and even longer to finally be able to pay. Especially if you ask several times and the waiter keeps putting you off by saying someone else asked to pay first. During this time, several other guests were billed and orders were taken. We felt really ripped off because it took 45 minutes and asking 4 times until we finally paid and were able to leave.

Missing order and unfriendly service

It seems our table was forgotten at lunchtime, so we waited over an hour for two portions of pasta. Meanwhile, tables of 12 people who arrived 20 minutes after us received their meals. Unfortunately, we had to leave without eating – what a shame!

Giant pizzas that were also very tasty because they were thin, crispy, and—well—simply delicious. You can also order several toppings (tuna *and* four types of cheese) on one pizza. Waiter Moritz was also super nice and helpful. I'll definitely be back!

The pizza was really big and tasty :) The pasta was a good amount and the taste was simple and good. I think the terrace seats would be nice when the weather is nice.

The pizza was super crispy, hot, and delicious. Attentive service; drinks and food arrived relatively quickly. We always enjoy going to L'Osteria; we've been there in several cities, and the quality is consistently excellent.

The food was decent. Unfortunately, the service was extremely poor. We wanted to sit at a table in the corner, as the restaurant was practically empty, but the waitress asked us to move the table to keep it free for any arriving guests, leaving us awkwardly stuck. If the restaurant had been packed, this would have been understandable, but not in an almost empty place.

Very disappointing, we were always very satisfied with the deliveries and today we received an ice-cold pizza, especially with the wrong toppings… yes, it's Friday evening, but you can't reach anyone when you call, and as a vegetarian, it's even more annoying…

The ambiance is generally quite nice, however, we were crammed into a small table by a pillar, five of us, even though there were plenty of free tables. The risotto and penne arabbiata were absolutely awful. The quality was more like canteen food than a restaurant. Our server was also incredibly rude and cheeky. We won't be coming back. What a shame!
