L'Osteria Erlangen in Erlangen

Very tasty Italian food, I can only recommend it. The equipment is also successful. Unfortunately, it's a huge room and when the tables are all occupied, the noise level increases to the point of giving you a headache. That's the only drawback. Location in Erlangen is ideal

Delicious food. We had pasta, the pizza from the next table also looked delicious. Next time we'll try pizza because we'll be happy to come back. At lunchtime it suddenly became full and the waiters were difficult to "catch", but that was probably because on the day before Christmas there were only 3 waiters responsible for the full shop. The boys and girls ran like weasels.

Food was partly okay. We are having dinner regularly here, but this time the pizza was to long in the oven and the last piece of food arrived after everybody else was finished. Also it tooks more than half an hour to pay. We need three times reminding the waiter to get the bill.

As always, EVERYTHING was very good 👍 Service polite and very accommodating 👍 the homemade lemonade is a pleasure 😋 and the food, as always, very tasty 😋

The food was very good and so was the service. There was a small limitation because the table was right next to the door and we felt the draft extremely.

We went there for a pizza and a salad. The waitresses are quick and friendly. Despite being busy, the food comes to the table quickly. Unfortunately neither the pizza nor the salad were to our liking. The pizza is large, but has thin toppings and little seasoning, i.e. bland. The lettuce was drowned in dressing and had probably been sitting for a while, at least judging by the condition of the lettuce leaves; fresh is different. The pizza dough was boring and lightly baked and yet dry. We had already seen at the neighboring tables that the pizzas were very lightly baked and had specifically said that we wanted the pizza to be crispy, but this was ignored. The pizza was more like dry pizza bread. The atmosphere wasn't really our thing either: very loud and a bit like a canteen. We won't go there anymore. Two stars anyway because the service was very good and quick.

We had made a reservation and even though we were a little early, we were taken to a free table by a friendly young man and served straight away. Even though it was quite busy (New Year's Eve), the food came quickly and was delicious as always. We ordered Gnocchi Gamberetti and Orecciette di Manzo al Limone and delicious desserts. We had a very nice evening. Many thanks also to the very nice service.

Das Essen war sehr gut. Die Pizza ist riesig, eigentlich schon zu groß. Der Service war leider nicht besonders gut. Außerdem sitzt man draußen mitten in der Fußgängerzone, wo viel Durchgangsverkehr ist.

Yesterday we came for lunch at this place. When we asked if we can sit outside the waiter’s facial expressions have changed a hundred times. I have a complaint about the food delivery. I ordered half a Hawaii pizza (see photo) Is this serious?? 7 pieces of pineapple and 2 ham....pizza costs 18 euros. What horror! I also ordered a Caesar salad - 93% leaves, 3% croutons, 3% chicken and 4% Parmesan. These are green leaves for 11 euros. Very dissatisfied!!!!

Food was very tasty. We had a couple of antipasti starter platters which were very good. The pizzas afterwards were also very tasty. Above all, the pizzas are relatively large. So you can also share a pizza. It is also possible to top the halves of the pizza differently. This way you can try out more. The L’Osteria beer is also highly recommended and tastes very fruity. The location itself is modern and very nicely decorated. However, the open design also makes it very loud when there are a lot of guests and it is almost impossible to understand each other at the table. Priced above average but still okay. The staff is very nice and quick. Conclusion: definitely a recommendation.

Food: the dough of two different pizzas was very very light, almost even "underdone", definitely underbaked... Congratulations on the most expensive, but not best, pizza in Erlangen. I ordered via Ubereats. This pizza that I ordered costs just under €17. Ok, I thought, the pizzas used to be huge and then it's OK. I had to pick them up because there was a mistake and they weren't open yet...okay. But then the surprise: the pizza was basically the same size as a normal large pizza. Never again at this price! It's still a PIZZA, consisting of water and flour and possibly a few high-quality ingredients on top. It's simply overpriced for this size and there's a lot of competition in Erlangen that can do it better.

Elena was one of the best waitresses we've ever had! She was super friendly, funny and committed to us, in short: top service, high praise(: The pizzas were also super tasty and really huge!

Rarely have we experienced such poor service, you can't fault the food, but it would be nice if you were noticed as a guest and looked after without having to wait ages or draw attention to yourself. Apart from that, even though there are only two of us, the food doesn't come at the same time and came 5 minutes apart.

Very disappointing experience! We had reserved a table for 8 people to celebrate a birthday. Unfortunately the tables were not prepared at all. Instead, we were given tables of different shapes and heights. One table was rectangular, the other was round, and neither was the same height. When we asked for another table, we were told that there were reservations for 45 people and that we had to vacate the table within 1.5 hours. The organization was beyond chaotic and completely spoiled the mood. Eventually we had to leave the restaurant frustrated. My advice to the restaurant: Before making a reservation, please check whether you have the capacity to accommodate guests in a comfortable manner. A reservation should not only exist on paper, but also be feasible in reality. Rating: 1/5 stars"

The pizzas are huge, one is enough for 2 people. The drinks are on average €1 more expensive than at other pizzerias. The seating inside is very cramped, it echoes and is overall very loud. The service is very courteous and friendly.

Ok, but it's got expensive! Pizza around €17. Had spaghetti with tomatoes and basil. Just one basil leaf. Tomatoes tinned. Salad is good. Pizza too. Spaghetti had no flare. I'd expect more for the price.

I think the prices are fair for pizza The staff is young and not yet at full speed but I think it's okay.

This place has an okay staff and the atmosphere is nice in general and the food is also decent but I don’t know who’s Nonna approved. The pizza is okay but be careful not to order any pizza with veggies on it, the base gets really soggy. When we mentioned this to our waiter, he literally blamed us for choosing that and told us we should’ve expected it. The Nduja pizza was a good choice though, a spicy option if you’re looking for one. The pasta is also just okay. I’ve had the Aglio e Olio and it was pretty bland. I’ve had it before in other places and it’s really flavourful with garlic, parsley, chilli flakes and olive oil but this just felt like oil and spaghetti. The seafood gnocchi is a big no, the shrimp taste is too overpowering which makes me think it’s not fresh. The Lasagna and drinks were good so definitely try that.

Price-performance is really great, the pizzas are huge and generously topped. But I wasn't impressed with the taste, the dough wasn't anything special, neither in terms of taste nor in terms of preparation. The vegan cheese tastes like it should normally taste, there's nothing you can say. The vegan chicken sounds quite good and unusual on a pizza, but the seasoning and consistency are somehow at discount store level, i.e. a bit greasy and not a revelation in terms of taste. This means that after a few bites you really have enough. I couldn't understand the piles of unseasoned spinach that were spread on the pizza. I admit that they look pretty good, but why didn't you opt for some fresh arugula or some basil? It also tastes pure. The spinach contrasts well with the fat of the cheese, but is otherwise unseasoned and relatively boring. My colleagues’ pasta and dessert looked good though.

Waited 10 minutes and the next table wanted to pay, no one came, I apologized and asked if anyone was working here then the lady who was sitting at the boss's seat looked at me with her laptop really rudely at the (boss) or shift manager!!! I went and asked, did I say something wrong, she said I was being disrespectful to the employee!! Then I asked what was disrespectful about it? She said she would leave it like that for now, with a voice like that, I wouldn't even talk to my dog ​​if he did something wrong!

So könnte das neue Bewirtungskonzept bei L'Osteria heißen. Aber halt! 30 % Wareneinsatz zu Hause? Nein, zu Hause sind es 100 %. Wir haben uns zwei Salate mit Cesar-Dressing und Hähnchenbruststücken bestellt. Die beiden Salate waren jeweils als Hauptspeise gedacht. Bei einem Preis über 14,00 Euro auch naheliegend. Aber wie in der letzten Zeit leider immer häufiger entsprach der Salat nur einem größeren Beilagensalat. Das Dressing war gekonnt über den ganzen Salat verteilt. Gerade ausreichend. Die Hoffnung, dass sich unter dem Salat noch größere Dressingreserven befinden, war leider unbegründet. Die Salatsoßen für die Gastronomie müssen sich seit der Wiedereinführung des 19 % Mehrwertsteuersatzes explosionsartig verteuert haben. Auch der Einkaufspreis für den Romanasalat. Dass bei den Getränken schon satte Aufschläge in Kauf genommen werden müssen, ist man gewohnt. Wenn jetzt aber der gleiche Zuschlag auch für Speisen gelten soll, werden wir dieses Restaurant auf unsere rote Liste setzen. Sorry, bei 30 % Wareneinsatz fühlen wir uns nur genüßlich über den Tisch gezogen.

We had a great meal, the food was great… the price was right

The kitchen staff cannot be blamed as the food was really good. The Apperol was a little thin but otherwise everything was fine. The biggest point of criticism is the service staff; in a moderately busy restaurant, the service staff did not manage to create a feel-good atmosphere. On the contrary, she was really very unfriendly. When you pay a lot of money for food you don't want to be treated so unkindly and consistently. Everyone understands when you are stressed, but that was unjustified.

I loved the attention of a blonde girl, she was always attentive and helped us take several photos since we were a large group. In short, we had a great time there. I will definitely return.
