L'Osteria is located directly on the inner harbor. Despite the abundance, the service was very courteous. Every now and then we asked again whether everything was okay. Pizza took a while because it was full. And the size speaks for itself. Clear recommendation

I just wanted to have a drink and because maybe it was understaffed or everyone was simply overwhelmed or I just didn't look like a guest but rather a visitor, I left after 20 minutes without ordering

Bei unserem Besuch im Losteria begegnete uns der Kellner Shako mit seinem swiftie-Armband (er ist kein swiftie). Ein super sympathischer Typ. Allein für ihn solltet ihr dort essen. Ich kann euch auf jeden Fall die Pizza Rustica empfehlen und die Mezalune Spinaci (dauert aber momentan länger, bis die Mezalune den Tisch findet) Das hat aber nichts mit Shako zutun. Ich denke eher, dass sie sich extra Mühe geben, damit die Metalune Spinaci besonders gut schmeck.

The Losteria Duisburg at the inner harbor is always worth a visit. Whether you want to sit comfortably outside in the sun during the day, or inside in the shade, or comfortably by the water in the evening, there should be something for everyone. For me it is always a welcome point of contact when I visit Duisburg. Big advantage: Open until midnight on weekends! As usual, the food and drink is excellent and lively service staff like the magical Jessica round off the successful evening. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Hello, I was eating there about five minutes ago. We had such an unfriendly waiter (slim, I think 18 years old). I asked if I could get water for my little dog and he replied very stroppily, "Yes, if I find the time" even though it wasn't full. Then the food came after 40 minutes and he threw it on the table without please without anything. Then when we were paying we gave him the appropriate amount, something like that doesn't get a tip, then he excitedly threw the money on the table and said something else to us. Been there for the first and last time!!!! And if I go to the boss again, unfortunately I didn't have time because I was away on business. Kind regards

Had lunch here again today after a while. We haven't been there for a while because the ambience is too loud for us personally when it's full. I was looking forward to a lasagna because I knew it and it was always very good. We then took a mixed salami/margarita pizza with us, unfortunately it wasn't crispy either and was completely tasteless. I think with today's prices you can expect more because it's better than what we already had in the past.

Immer gute Qualität! Draußen sitzt man toll. Meist freundlicher Service. Toller Blick. Gutes Essen. Das Carpaccio ist zu empfehlen. Pasta und Risotto (könnte etwas langsamer geköchelt werden) meist sehr gut. Was manchmal nicht klappt: Vorspeise und Hauptspeise mit angemessener Zwischenzeit bringen. Gestern klappte es super. Gibt allerdings auch Tage, dann kommt alles zusammen inklusive Pizza. Da hakt schon mal die Logistik. Aber alles im allem zu empfehlen!

Unfortunately, we weren't able to leave a tip at the end of the payment because we were a little short on cash. When I was supposed to enter the tip amount on the card machine, I felt very uncomfortable because the waitress was watching us. When we didn't give her a tip, she clicked her tongue and seemed very annoyed...She didn't even say goodbye, she just turned around and left

Buschetta burned very dry without oil, both salads an outrage. Chicken burnt and dry and not enough on it. Iceberg lettuce partly brown and spotty/mushy. The second salad from the monthly menu is missing dressing and nuts, the raspberries are completely mushy and the salad is also brown/tarnished. When we complained, the excuse was that it was so busy today and the kitchen had so much to do. But something like that shouldn't go out!!! There was no bread either. To charge 15 euros per salad and then not even cancel any of the amount is outrageous. That was the last visit.

Unfortunately, the 16.50 pizza was 70 percent raw. It was first forgotten and then probably prepared too hastily... (actually only 2 stars) Waiters are all super nice. When delivering, you should make sure that the drivers also have a warming bag/backpack (especially ubereats and wolt, otherwise delivery won't help :-) (delivery fees do not go to the drivers, so a tip isn't a bad idea for the food you treat yourself to)

Super Lage, nettes Ambiente, freundliche schnelle Bedienung. Waren als Paar hier und wurden zum 2ten mal super beraten von Esther . Sie bleibt gelassen selbst bei meinen Sonderwünschen. Das Essen kommt schnell und heiß an einfach super lecker und nur zu empfehlen.

Rating: July 19, 2024, eaten on May 19, 2024 I have now increased the rating from one to three stars. The last two times we didn't see the waitress who served us in 2020. Non-carbonated drinks are really bad. There were 6 of us and there was hardly any carbon dioxide in the water and cola. We noticed this both times, but the last time it was more extreme. We also ordered the Pizza Degli Artisti twice from the powerfully built waiter, but only one Artisti came and the other was half Artisti and half salami. When we complained about it, the waiter said that the pizza was similar to salami, and that the Artisti also had salami.............. there was never an apology........ .when we then said that there was more to the Artisti and that we didn't want any salami, only then did the question arise as to whether we wanted a new pizza? Then he left with the pizza and after about 6 minutes there was a new one. We couldn't determine whether the Pizza Salami was converted into Pizza Artisti or whether it was completely new. Otherwise, we always like the pizzas at all L'Osterias and the location is great, lots of space, but unfortunately we've only had bad experiences with the waiters and waitresses so far. We have never had bad experiences with waiters and waitresses at other restaurants, even though we eat at different restaurants every week. May 30, 2020, be careful when paying! Waitress MAYBE lining her own pocket? We were there today, May 30th. There were three of us there, ordered 3 drinks and 3 pizzas. The food was good and I would have given it 5 stars, but then at the end the waitress came with the bill. In my head I had calculated a sum of under 50 euros. The waitress didn't have a bill with her and my wife had to pay 52.90 euros using an EC card and we also handed over a 3 euro tip in cash. We then only received the payment receipt. I then asked for an invoice. I knew something was wrong. The waitress left and after 5 minutes she came back and said that the bill would no longer work. When I asked further, she tried to add up the amounts using the menu card. When that didn't work, she looked into her electronic device and suddenly realized out of the blue that 4 drinks were being charged instead of 3. Apparently another cola was accidentally billed for 3.10 euros. I suspect that the waitress here is lining her own pocket and added a tip of 3.10 euros to our cash tip. Therefore, she could no longer issue an invoice. We paid the amount of 52.90 euros by EC card on May 30, 2020 at 2:15 p.m. Question 1 to the owner: How can it be that the waitress collects without us getting a bill? Question 2 to the owner: How can it be that it is no longer possible to receive an invoice after the payment process? Question 3 to the owner: How can it be that you can't read on the electronic device which items you ordered and how expensive each item was? If you have a sensible answer to everything, then I'll be happy to take the review down.

What a tragedy the store is. Drinks take forever. Eating takes forever. Only one service person for the entire store. Cola etc. doesn't have any real carbon dioxide, which is probably normal according to the staff. You have to give a 4 star rating in order to get a free nightcap and because it didn't work right away the manager comes to guide you. Yes, the food was good but I couldn't recommend anything else.

The pizzas are very large and tasty, but in other L'Osterias mine was already more generously topped (still sufficient here :)) What bothered me, in contrast to my previous L'Osteria visits, was the poor service. Our order was taken with annoyance after we drew attention to ourselves. There were also no questions asked during the meal or when clearing up - overall, I know that other L'Osteria restaurants are friendly. During our stay here I had the feeling that we were tolerated... The ambience is great, the location on the inner harbor is simply beautiful and luckily we didn't let the service spoil our mood...

The food was okay but the waitress with the blonde hair didn't make any effort. You had to take over her job for a short time because she wasn't mentally there at all! In general I wasn't happy with the service. The cola was non-carbonated and tasted like the cola from a fast food chain. The pizza was ok but cutting was made difficult by the plates being too small I wasn't that satisfied and that's why I won't go there again. There are plenty of good restaurants and pizzerias nearby that are just as good

Yesterday we were in the inner harbor of Duisburg and had lunch at the L Osteria. When the weather is nice you can sit outside and look at the water. The menu was extensive with a wide variety of pizzas and pasta dishes. The dishes we ordered were tasty and the portions were large enough. The staff was friendly. We can recommend the restaurant.

A very nice restaurant. The pizzas are very tasty and very large. They also taste very good. It's nice that children are also very well looked after. There is an extra children's card that can also be used as a sheet for painting. High chairs and changing rooms are available. Unfortunately, the pizza on the children's menu is a frozen pizza and the edge of the pizza was so extremely hard that our child couldn't eat it.

Simply great! We always share the pizza with different toppings because it's hard to do the cartwheel alone. The pizza is known for its size, but the taste is just as impressive. The pasta dishes are also great... my personal favorite dish here is the Gnocchi Gamberetti or Mezzalune Spinaci. When it comes to pizza, I often can't decide. Salsiccia Picante, Prosciutto Crudo, Prosciutto e Funghi or a Pizza Bianca (Gamberetti)? Just deciding whether to have pasta or pizza today is difficult... 😂 Sometimes we treat ourselves to a delicious dessert, but only about an hour after dinner. L'Osteria has now become a regular restaurant, where we always look forward to when a good friend and I want to spend a nice evening again.

When we arrived at a half-empty restaurant, we were sent to the counter to wait. After a long wait, we were directed to the table that had been empty since our arrival. The waitress, completely overwhelmed, simply left us sitting there. When we asked if we could order, she gave a curt answer that she was responsible for several tables. so we waited 1 hour for a pizza. During this time, the other guests who arrived later were already being served. Pizza itself was okay and partly dry with baked-on cheese like microwave toast. When there was logically no tip, the waitress smiled, well she won, we're not coming back :)

Very nice restaurant from the L'Osteria chain in Duisburg's inner harbor. There are parking spaces in the area around the inner harbor, which are signposted. I've never had a bad meal here. Everything tastes consistently good, whether pizza, pasta or salads. The pizzas are huge and a highlight, especially for good eaters. You can also order just one half or 2 different halves as a whole pizza. Especially in summer in the inner harbor you have a really good ambience when you sit on the outside terrace. Definitely worth a visit.

Saturday afternoon around 5:30 p.m. for two people. The architecture of the room makes it a little too loud everywhere when the restaurant is busy. The fact that you have to stand right in the door to be shown to a table is annoying for guests who want to leave the restaurant. This quickly leads to unpleasant situations. The fact that at the table for two neither the pizza crumbs were removed from the chair seat nor the pizza sauce stains with pieces of pepper under the table made the start a bit tough. But the service was friendly and the food was good.
